Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the relevant strategy to engage with the target consumer, the Zoomers, by analysing their buying behaviour and purchasing decisions for Chocomel, one of the flavoured dairy drink companies in Spain. Concurrently, the company has no experience in approaching and engaging this target group in Spain. The approach is expected to boost brand recognition, purchase intention, and engagement. In order to establish an effective strategy, comprehensive data is required. Therefore, the authors gather information during their internship and distributed questionnaires to Spanish Gen Z who have previously purchased Chocomel. The findings of this study indicate that Chocomel's new target market in Spain, Generation Z, shows passive (71%) engagement assessed from five conceptual relationships of consumer brand engagement, whereas purchasing intent and customer enthusiasm are high. This indicates that Chocomel has an encouraging opportunity in this market and has to improve brand recognition to promote meaningful engagement. In addition, this study recommends establishing a transparent, perceptible engagement approach and prioritising personalization in order to foster brand recognition and consumer engagement. In the recommendation chapter, the author additionally specifies the strategies Chocomel must comply with to optimise the entire consumer journey, enabling the company to acquire long-term relationships with customer

This research used a quantitative method with data collection techniques through questionnaire surveys and secondary data analysis. The research population is the Business Cluster Program at BRI Pasar Kodim Pekanbaru, with a sample of 13 micro enterprises at Gerai Kembang Setaman. The results of the linear regression analysis show that micro enterprises growth (X) has a significant impact on environmental sustainability (Y) with the regression equation Y=18.058+0.405X. The ANOVA test results show an F value of 15.179 with a p-value of 0.002, indicating that the regression model is significant at a 95% confidence level. Abstract

This research discusses product inventory optimization by applying the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) approach in the context of circular economy. Circular economy is an economic model that aims to minimize waste and maximize the use of resources with the concept of make-use-return, which is based on the reuse of existing products and materials. In this context, EOQ is used as a tool to optimize product order quantities using the circularity index. The objective of this study is to determine the optimal inventory level that not only reduces wastage and waste, but also takes into account the positive environmental and economic impacts. In this study, the decision variables considered are product order quantity and circularity level. Data is taken from Toko Papa Singkong as a case study to test this model. The results of the analysis show that the application of EOQ in the context of a circular economy can result in a more efficient and sustainable inventory strategy. The practical implication of this research is to provide guidance for companies in managing their inventory better, while taking into account the principles of the circular economy. In conclusion, this research provides an important contribution in the development of a sustainable inventory strategy in the era of circular economy.

Abstract

COVID-19 pandemic has affected economies globally and how these effects could potentially apply to a region like East Belitung. The determination of superior products for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) of East Belitung Regency aims to encourage the acceleration of the growth of economic businesses based on the potential of local resources in order to create jobs and increase community income. The determination of the leading product is carried out in two steps, namely through the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine the weight of 12 criteria that have been determined by East Belitung Regency Regional Regulation Number 10 of 2021 and then determine the ranking of leading products using the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method. The resources used are the results of interviews and questionnaires distributed to parties who are experts in the development of MSMEs, both internal to the Regional Government and external to the MSME Development Group. The results showed that pepper products have the potential to become the flagship product of East Belitung Regency MSMEs so that it needs to be determined through a Regent Decree as mandated by the Regional Regulation.

Abstract

Research by McKinsey and the NYU Stern Centre for Sustainable Business indicates that robust ESG indicators are associated with enhanced returns and less negative risk. In Indonesia, firms possess a poor comprehension of the impact that integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) measures into corporate strategy has on long-term value generation, resilience, and profitability. This study seeks to delineate the role of ESG in enhancing financial performance and sustainable growth within Indonesian firms. Researchers utilize purposive sampling to identify organizations that have consistently disclosed sustainability metrics in accordance with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) requirements for a duration of five years. The population comprised 938 publicly listed companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), with 38 selected enterprises that consistently reported. This research does a comprehensive panel regression analysis using financial data sourced from the Bloomberg Terminal. The study reveals a complex relationship between Environmental, Social, and Governance disclosures and corporate financial success, particularly in emerging markets like Indonesia. It suggests that while firms prioritize governance transparency, its impact on financial performance may be temporary, affecting short-term profitability. Environmental and social disclosures, while positively connected with ROA, necessitate additional time or continuous application to yield financial benefits. The study emphasizes the imperative for a balanced and sustainable approach to Environmental, Social, and Governance integration in resource-constrained environments.
