Abstract

Kegagalan struktur pada struktur beton akibat gempa adalah karena sifat material beton yang getas, kuat terhadap tarik namun lemah terhadap tekan sehingga bangunan dengan struktur beton akan lebih lemah terhadap bangunan struktur kayu. Saat terjadi gempa bumi, sebagian besar kegagalan bangunan terjadi pada struktur beton. Masalah getas tersebut tidak terjadi dengan material kayu sehingga bangunan dengan struktur kayu menjadi lebih aman ketika gempa. Kearifan lokal menjadi hal yang mendukung dalam menghadapi masalah gempa bumi. Penggunaan potongan kayu pada beton masih perlu dilakukannya kajian lebih mendalam. Pada penelitian ini direncanakan potongan kayu yang digunakan sebagai agregat kasar adalah kelas I berukuran 2cm x 2cm x 2 cm dengan rencana persentase penggunaan 40%, 50% dan 60%. Potongan kayu dianalisis sifat fisisnya di laboratorium. Beton yang telah dicetak diuji kuat tarik belah pada umur 3, 7, dan 28 hari. Dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi tentang pengaruh penambahan potongan kayu sebagai agregat terhadap kuat tekan beton

Abstract

This study focuses on the problem of critical compressive axial load. can be resist by the structure. The method used in this analysis is the finite element method. The basic concept of this method is that a continuous structure can be discretionally modeled into a simpler discrete structure, a discrete structure formed from a combination of elements whose behavior is expected to represent the behavior of a more complex structure. By using the finite element method can complete the analysis more simply. The final result of this study is to determine the value of the collapse load value of a structure, the displacement pattern that occurs, and the internal forces that occur with the finite element method approach. In the analysis of linear instability and in the analysis of non-linear instability for both prismatic and non-prismatic beams, there will be some differences in terms of working methods, critical load values, and values of displacement and internal forces.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the role of Madrasah Principal in developing teachers' abilities. This research is important to carry out in order to get an overview of its role in developing teachers' abilities. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive.  The subject of the study is the Principal of MIN 4 Banda Aceh. Collection techniques through interviews, questionnaires, observations and documentation. The data analysis technique uses percentages.  The results of the study show that the function of the Madrasah Principal as an educator creates a conducive school climate, enlightens school residents, provides encouragement to education personnel, as a manager is able to face various problems in school, thinks analytically, conceptually, and always tries to be a mediator in solving various problems. As an administrator, he is closely related to various administrative management activities that are record-keeping and documenting of all school programs. As a supervisor,  supervise the work carried out by education staff. As a leader, he provides guidance and supervision, and is able to build two-way communication in carrying out various tasks. Thus, it can be concluded that the role of the Madrasah Principal can develop teacher competence in improving the quality of learning.
