Abstract

Course scheduling is one area of ​​operations research. This problem schedules a class without violating an existing constraint. At this time the problem of scheduling courses is becoming increasingly complex with existing limitations One of them is in International Timetabling Competition 2019 (ITC 2019) which released the latest real world dataset. This study focuses on optimizing the quality of course scheduling in order to reduce the value of the final solution of course scheduling. The algorithm used is Late Acceptance Hill Climbing (LAHC) with a hyper-heuristic approach using mutation Low Level Heuristics (LLH) and local search. The algorithm was applied to 30 ITC 2019 data sets with 100,000 iterations in 5 trials. The result is that the application of this algorithm is able to optimize with an average of 52% of the initial solution. In addition, this algorithm produces a consistent solution for 10 attempts on each dataset.

Abstract

Sports scheduling is a branch of optimization in operations research. sports scheduling has various constraints that are challenging for researchers to solve. International Timetabling Competition (ITC) 2021 is an optimization competition that provides sports scheduling problems. The main problem at ITC 2021 is determining the right schedule for a match. A schedule is feasible if it does not violate the existing hard constraints. The construction of a feasible initial solution can now be done using a constraint programming algorithm or an integer programming algorithm. However, both algorithms are quite complicated to implement. This research focuses on establishing a feasible initial solution in a way that is easy to implement. The method used is by optimizing hard constraint violations using the Late Acceptance Hill Climbing (LAHC) algorithm and Tabu Search with a Hyper-Heuristic framework that involves low level heuristics (LLH). The algorithm is run maximum with a time limit of 6 hours for each data. The results of the optimization of hard constraint violations using the LAHC algorithm and tabu search can produce a feasible initial solution of 44.44% or 24 of the 54 total datasets.

Abstract

Riset operasi memiliki salah satu bidang yakni penjadwalan olahraga. Topik ini menjadwalkan sebuah pertandingan olahraga dengan tidak melanggar batasan yang ada. Permasalahan penjadwalan olahraga saat ini menjadi semakin kompleks dengan banyaknya batasan yang ada. Kompetisi International Timetabling Competition on Sports Timetabling 2021 (ITC 2021) merupakan salah satu yang mengeluarkan dataset realworld terbaru. Optimasi kualitas penjadwalan olahraga untuk menurunkan nilai penalty pada solusi akhir dari penjadwalan merupakan focus dari penelitian ini. Penerapan algoritma ini mampu menghasilkan optimasi dengan rata-rata 10 dari solusi awal. Algoritma ini juga menghasilkan solusi yang konsistern selama 10.000.000 kali percobaan setiap dataset.

Abstract

Generally, exam scheduling is still done manually and definitely will take a long time. Many researches have developed various studies to find a more appropriate strategy. Hyperheuristic was proposed in this study. In Hyperheuristic, Simple Random is used as a strategy for selecting low-level-heuristic while Hill Climbing and Simulation Annealing as move acceptance strategy. The Carter dataset is used as a test for the algorithms. We proposed testing datasets with a time limit of 15 minutes up to 1 hour and the results were compared with the research conducted by Carter et al (1996) as an initial study using that dataset. In addition, dataset, the number of iterations, and the time limit are as same as one of the literatures which will then be compared. The results obtained show that one pair of algorithms proposed in this study is better than the literature while other algorithms also provide significant results.

Abstract

Permasalahan penjadwalan ujian adalah permasalahan berulang yang terjadi setidaknya satu kali dalam satu semester di lingkungan akademik, baik sekolah maupun perguruan tinggi. Menentukan jadwal dengan memastikan tidak ada satupun mahasiswa yang harus menempuh ujian dua mata kuliah di waktu yang sama, penentuan ruang ujian, dan penjadwalan pengawas ujian adalah pekerjaan yang sangat menyita waktu. Karena itu solver penjadwal ujian otomatis sangat diperlukan. Lebih dari itu, secara teoritis, permasalahan optimasi penjadwalan ujian ini merupakan NP-complete problem, dimana belum ada algoritma eksak yang mampu menyelesaiakan permasalahan ini dalam waktu non-polinomial. Sehingga permasalahan ini banyak menarik perhatian para peneliti, khususnya di bidang riset operasi dan kecerdasan buatan selama puluhan tahun belakangan ini. State-of-the-art pendekatan untuk memecahkan permasalahan ini adalah metode heuristic sekuensial berdasarkan permalahan pewarnaan graf dan meta-heuristic. Makalah ini membahas usulan metode baru yaitu metode heuristic sekuensial berdasarkan konsep maximal clique pada teori graf digabung dengan metode hyper-heuristic. Hasil penelitian komputasi menunjukkan bahwa metode ini sangat efektif untuk memecahkan permasalahan penjadwalan ujian dan lebih unggul jika dibandingkan dengan hasil penelitian sebelumnya dengan metode yang lain.

Abstract

The success and failure of a destination tend to rest on its’ capacity to satisfy the visitors. Listening to visitors’ appraisal and voices is vital in community-based tourism development. This study aims to explore WPP Dalegan visitors’ voices. The data are collected through Dalegan visitors’ online reviews and direct observation. The study finds that Dalegan has a high competitive advantage as family recreational destination as it is cheap, reachable, accessible, has various local-traditional-cheap food, beautiful calm beach and soft white sand as a playing and learning ground for children. Despite its’ comfortable image, some visitors voice unsatisfied services, facilities, nature-caused and human-caused threats. The study also illuminates that Dalegan destination branding is not only influenced by its’ capacity to attract visitors by its’ beautiful marine nature, but also local community characters, community education and values. The study indicates that to develop tourism destination, local potentials are not the only determinant keys. It needs to be supported by other determining factors. One of those factors is tourists’ voices on their impression, comments, satisfaction and dissatisfaction feelings. Linking potential resources of destination and tourists’ meaningful experience can be challenging as different tourists may have different perspectives, wants and satisfaction-dissatisfaction levels.

Abstract

Health is a very important sector and gets great attention by the Government. This sector has the potential to be integrated with information technology. One of the health programs that have been established by the Government is the Maternal and Child Health Program (KIA). The program includes services and care for pregnant women, maternity mothers, breastfeeding mothers, infants and toddlers to preschoolers. However, in the implementation of the program there are several weaknesses, including the implementation process which is still manual using the MCH handbook which makes the process less effective and efficient. Whereas the implementation of the program can be maximized by the use of information technology, including the help of applications. There are many previous studies that try to overcome this problem by making applications. However, of all these applications only focus on aspects of infant growth and the provision of information about maternal and child health. In fact, there are other aspects that also need to be considered related to maternal and child health monitoring. These aspects include aspects of infant development. Infant development is an important factor in assessing deviations in child development. In addition, these various applications have not yet been combined with an intelligent system or Intelligence System to become a Healthcare Intelligence System, for example with an early warning feature related to maternal and child health in case of irregularities. So that the use of information technology can be optimally implemented for monitoring the health of mothers and children. However, in making the Healthcare Intelligence System, input data is needed which will later be processed using algorithms and the features in it. Therefore, it is important to first create an application that contains a data input module for data related to maternal and child health monitoring, from aspects of growth to development. In developing the application, the Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle method is used. The focus of this research is to create a frontend application. The application prototype testing process is carried out using the Usability Testing method to ensure the resulting application is in accordance with the needs. The results obtained from this study are the Healthcare Intelligence System frontend application that has been carried out by Blackbox Testing. This frontend application has been adjusted to the data and parameters contained in the application prototype. This frontend application has also been integrated with the backend application with an API that has been created. With this system designed, both mothers and midwives can take notes to see the health conditions of mothers and children.

Abstract

The traveling salesman problem (TSP) is a very popular combinatorics problem. This problem has been widely applied to various real problems. The TSP problem has been classified as a Non-deterministic Polynomial Hard (NP-Hard), so a non-deterministic algorithm is needed to solve this problem. However, a non-deterministic algorithm can only produce a fairly good solution but does not guarantee an optimal solution. Therefore, there are still opportunities to develop new algorithms with better optimization results. This research develops a new algorithm by hybridizing three local search algorithms, namely, iterated local search (ILS) with simulated annealing (SA) and hill climbing (HC), to get a better optimization result. This algorithm aimed to solve TSP problems in the transportation sector, using a case study from the Traveling Salesman Challenge 2.0 (TSC 2.0). The test results show that the developed algorithm can optimize better by 15.7% on average and 11.4% based on the best results compared to previous studies using the Tabu-SA algorithm.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi berbasis mobile, yaitu berbasis platform android, untuk Desa Klagen, Kecamatan Rejoso, Kabupaten Nganjuk. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan dalam kerangka kerja framework smart village, yaitu sebuah upaya tata kelola desa yang transparan, cepat, efektif dan efisien dengan memberdayakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Fitur yang dikembangkan dalam aplikasi meliputi layanan informasi desa, khususnya dalam hal transparansi penggunaan dana desa; layanan pelaporan data kependudukan seperti kelahiran dan kematian; serta layanan pengurusan surat dari desa untuk masyarakat. Dengan aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan layanan kepada masyarakat dengan lebih cepat, efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

E-Goverment atau situs pemerintahan saat ini mulai menjadi trend baru dan berkembang pesat di dunia pemerintahan. Hal ini dikarenakan situs pemerintahan (website) dapat berperan sebagai media Informasi, media interaksi dengan masyarakat, menjadi tolak ukur bagaimana aktif atau tidaknya kegiatan pemerintahan, menjadi tempat masyarakat menyampaikan aspirasinya. Dengan website warga juga dapat informasi terpercaya karena website di kelola langsung dari kantor pemerintahan. Kelurahan Gebang Putih sebagai kelurahan yang berbatasan langsung dengan ITS merupakan salah satu kelurahan yang menjadi percontohan dalam beberapa aspek. Kelurahan ini saat ini telah menjadi percontohan, namun penyebaran data-data serta informasi sebagian besar masih dilakukan secara manual. Hal ini menjadi kurang efektif dan memakan banyak waktu. Kepala Kelurahan juga mengeluhkan bahwa tidak ada sarana yang memudahkan komunikasi yang efektif dengan warga sehingga banyak informasi yang berhenti tidak sampai ke tujuan, begitu juga dengan informasi yang ada di warga juga tidak bisa dengan cepat sampai ke kelurahan. Untuk itu, dilakukan penelitian yang berfokus pada pembuatan website kelurahan yang dapat digunakan sebagai sarana untuk memudahkan komunikasi dalam berbagai hal antara warga dengan pihak Kelurahan Gebang Putih.
