Abstract

The potential of Binjai City is the border area of Medan City and areas outside Medan City (Aceh, Langkat, Stabad and others). The city of Binjai has 5 sub-districts with 37 villages. Located approximately 25 km from the center of Medan City, Binjai City is a city that has the potential to become a transit city with its boundaries that can reach many areas so that transportation facilities must be developed as much as possible. Objectives 1) Understand information on the potential of the Binjai City area. 2) Knowing the condition of the potential development of Binjai City. 3) Informing the development of the potential of the Binjai City area. Binjai City. The study data on the potential for regional planning of Binjai City has 1) Binjai City has culinary potential 2) Binjai City has transit terminal facilities, 3) Binjai City has tourism places in several villages. The results of this study were carried out using analytical techniques from survey results to the field in the form of analysis of the condition of regional potential, and data from the distribution of questionnaires in the form of percentage statistical analysis results. And also obtained the concept of thinking for how to increase the economic value of Binjai City.

Abstract

Tanjungpinang City is an autonomous city that was formed in 2004 and designated as the Capital of the Riau Islands Province. The development of Tanjungpinang City has been growing rapidly since the construction of the Riau Islands Province government center, which is located on Dompak Island. The development resulted in rapid changes in land use, so that the fulfillment of urban facilities and infrastructure was needed to support all activities that were developing and to improve services for activities that already existed. Dompak Island can be a micro-economic commodity for local residents by considering that Dompak Island has adequate facilities, there are universities, Grand Mosques, beaches, historical sites, interesting spots according to Malay culture.

Abstract

The structural planning of the Bunda Halimah Hospital Universitas Batam uses steel frame construction, planning includes calculating the load acting on the structure, namely in the form of dead loads, living loads, not taking into account earthquake loads. The height of the column in the planning of the Structure of the Bunda Halimah Hospital, is as high as 23.5 m. The process of analyzing the planning of building structures using the ETABS program. Guided by the Indonesian Steel Building Loading Regulations 1984 and SNI steel, to analyze the calculation of the dimensions of columns, beams and plates. The results of the loading calculation based on the Indonesian Steel Building Planning Regulations of 1984 were obtained for this building using WF 250x250x9x14kg/m child beams, WF Main Beams 300x300x10x15kg/m, WF building columns 350x350x12x19 kg/m, and using concrete plates for roofs with a thickness of 100 mm of D8 – 200 mm reinforcement and concrete plates for floors with a thickness of 120 mm of D8 - 200 mm reinforcement.

Abstract

Perencanaan tebal perkerasan lentur jalan raya di Jalan Sawah Indah _ Tande dengan lebar jalan 6 m, lebar bahu jalan kiri dan kanan masing-masing 1 m dan panjang jalan 593 m yang dimulai dari Sta 0.00 – 593.00. yang berlokasi di Daek Lingga Kabupaten Lingga Propinsi kepulauan Riau. Data yang digunakan yaitu berupa data sekunder, diantaranya, formulir himpunan data lalu-lintas, data CBR, data curah hujan dan gambar-gambar teknis perencanaan. Perhitungan tebal perkerasan dengan menggunakan Metode Bina Marga Alternatif I dianggap lebih efisien dan ekonomis, dimana diperoleh tebal lapisan permukaaan (Laston) = 5 cm, lapisan pondasi atas = 20 cm, dan lapisan pondasi bawah = 12 cm. Dalam hal ini dapat diketahui bahwa kekuatan dan mutu perkerasan dengan tebal perkerasan yang direncanakan mempunyai daya tahan yang lebih baik untuk direncanakan di Jalan Sawah Indah – Tande di Daek Lingga Kabupaten Lingga.

Abstract

Transportasi merupakan salah satu sarana yang dapat menjadi media penghubung antar manusia dengan tempat tujuan tertentu. Transportasi memberikan kemudahan bagi manusia dalam melaksanakan aktivitasnya sehari – hari, baik dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan hidup maupun dalam melakukan interaksi antar manusia. Untuk mencapai kenyamanan, keamanan dalam beraktivitas, dibutuhkan sistem transportasi yang aman ramah dan bermartabat. Karena sistem transportasi   merupakan   aspek   yang   paling    penting    dalam    menjalankan perekonomian maka harus dikelola dengan baik. Lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan di Pulau Belakang Padang dengan tujuan  untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelayanan serta karakteristik transportasi laut di Pulau Belakang Padang Kota Batam dalam kerangka Governance, Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan transportasi laut di Pulau Belakang Padang berjalan lancar karena adanya peran Pemerintah yaitu Dinas Perhubungan yang bekerjasama dengan pihak swasta atau koperasi masyarakat seperti Penyediaan transportasi laut dimana masyarakat Pulau Belakang Padang sebagai pengguna jasa transportasi laut tersebut. Jika dilihat dari prinsip good governance responsivitas pemerintahnya memang sudah ada pengawasan dari pihak pemerintah,  tetapi sarana transportasi yang dimiliki pihak swasta juga belum        efektif dan efisien untuk dijadikan sarana transportasi yang layak bagi masyarakat Pulau Belakang Padang.
