Abstract

The building is an important part of the wedding ceremony. Especially if the event owner does not have sufficient land. So far, it's been difficult for the community to decide which wedding hall they want. Both in terms of location, building design, rental prices etc. The purpose of this research is to apply the Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) method to recommend building rental services. The criteria used to select a building are location, price, facilities, parking space capacity, and number of guests. The alternatives used are Adi Mulia Hotel Medan, Caffe Bel Mondo Medan, Andaliman Hall, Aceh Sepakat, Al-amjad Convention Hall, Wisma Mahina Center, Mutiara Suara Nafiti Convention Hall, Namaken Hall, Al-Maruf Multipurpose Building, and the Dharma Wanita Petisah Building. The results of applying the MAUT method show that the Al-Amjad Convention Hall is most recommended as the building that best fits the given criteria.

Abstract

Sistem informasi sendiri diartikan sebagai sekumpulan hardware, software, brainware, prosedur, dan aturan yang diorganisasikan secara integral untuk mengolah data menjadi informasi yang bermanfaat guna memecahkan masalah dan pengambilan keputusan melakukan perancangan dan penerapan sistem informasi pada proses pendaftaran calon siswa/i dengan menggunakan teknologi berbasis Web pada SMK Swasta BM Teladan Medan. Untuk membangun website sekolah dimana dalam penerimaan peserta didik baru bisa didapatkan melalui media online dan website ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman java, basis data MySQL, dan Netbeans 8.1 sebagai media editornya. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan yaitu waterfall. Metode air terjun (waterfall) sering juga disebut model sekuensial linier (sequential linear) atau alur hidup klasik (classic life cycle). Model air terjun menyediakan pendekatan alur hidup terurut mulai dari analisis, desain, pengodean, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan.

Abstract

Masalah pengelolaan laboratorium di perguruan tinggi seringkali dihadapkan pada tantangan seperti kurangnya efisiensi, akurasi data yang rendah, dan kesulitan dalam mengakses informasi yang dibutuhkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Laboratorium berbasis web. Metode yang digunakan adalah Agile Scrum untuk memungkinkan pengembangan yang fleksibel dan responsif terhadap perubahan kebutuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem berhasil mengelola inventaris alat, jadwal praktikum, dan nilai mahasiswa secara terintegrasi. Implementasi sistem ini telah meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan laboratorium dan memberikan akses informasi yang lebih mudah bagi pengguna.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has influenced various aspects of education, including data management in schools. One of the key aspects of vocational education is efficient data processing to support administrative and academic activities. This community service program was conducted to provide students of SMK Swasta Nur Azizi with knowledge and skills in utilizing MySQL as a database management system for data processing. MySQL was chosen for its capability to efficiently manage and process data, making it highly relevant to industry needs. This program employed a qualitative approach with a case study method, focusing on the implementation of MySQL in student data processing. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation to analyze the effectiveness of MySQL in school operations. The activities included socialization sessions covering theoretical explanations of MySQL fundamentals, software installation, and hands-on practice in database creation and SQL queries. The results of this program indicate that students were able to understand the basic concepts of MySQL, create databases and tables, and process data using fundamental SQL commands such as SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE. Thus, this initiative is expected to enhance students' data processing skills, enabling them to apply these competencies in various fields and strengthen their qualifications in the job market.

Abstract

Transportation is the movement of goods or people from one place to another using a tool or vehicle. Transportation system in the CV. Simatahari is still manual, if the farmer wants to transport palm oil, the farmer first contacts the company via telephone to inform the transportation schedule and address. This often results in mistakes from the company when recording the schedule and address for transporting oil palm. One solution is to create a web-based palm oil transportation information system. The research method used in the manufacture of transportation information systems namely design thinking methods, programming languages using PHP and MySQL are used as databases. The results of this study can facilitate farmers in ordering oil palm transportation in real-time and also can find out information on the price of oil palm per kilo and transportation wages. Abstract

Maimoon Palace is one of the tourist attractions and cultural heritages that has high potential, both in Medan and Indonesia. However, in the digital era, Maimoon Palace does not have an Information System which can give information about its availability, while it does not provide online ticketing as well. This underlies the writer to create Web Based Tourism Information System of Maimoon Palace. This research uses direct observation method, interview with related parties, and literature studies related to the issues. Web Based Tourism Information System of Maimoon Palace is generated by PHP and HTML programming language and MySQL database. This system uses design thinking system development method. Design Thinking is the method utilized by the writer to solve the problem with user-centered approach to define the problem, thenceforth to conceptualize ideas as a solution to produce a system. This information systems can be used to give the information about Maimoon Palace availability to the visitors and can be used to book the ticket online. This system is expected to be useful as information and media promotion for tourism potential in Medan. Abstract

Crane (heavy equipment) is one of the tools to unload and load containers from ships / depots. Because of its very important uses, each component of the crane must be checked every day before and after use. To improve the efficiency of the reporting process, an information system or additional feature is created which can be used by technicians in reporting cranes. The technology used in the form of Android-based applications so that it can be accessed mobile by anyone, anywhere, and anytime. This system uses the Waterfall method, the Waterfall Method is used aims to develop a system of crane usage reports, which is carried out sequentially or linearly. The system is made as easy and simple as possible so that the operator does not have trouble inputting reports. This system will provide information reports to Bosses / Pic who can monitor the condition of the crane only through logins to the system or sent emails. Abstract

Doing a broccoli crop farming business is very promising, but there is little knowledge that farmers and the community have about the types of broccoli plant diseases that often attack these plants. By utilizing an expert system, which is able to make a rapid, precise, and accurate diagnosis of the symptoms caused, it is hoped that it will be able to help farmers in anticipating losses caused by disease attacks. Using the Forward Chaining method to determine conclusions starting from a set of facts by looking for rules that match the allegations, and using the Case Based Reasoning method that can solve new case problems by looking for similarity values on a case basis. From the sample cases taken are three symptoms of black rot disease, three symptoms of clubroot, and three symptoms of powdery mildew. Produces a value of 81.81% for black rot, then the system will provide a solution for the disease. Keyword: Broccoli Plant Diseases , Case Based Reasonin, Forward Chaining, Expert System.

Abstract

Starter companies or technology-based startups or better known as Digital Startups have been booming in many countries, especially in Indonesia in recent years. Various ideas and solutions are offered to be a way out of a problem that is often faced by the community. Incubators, Investors and even the Government are also competing to provide digital Startup development programs, because of this many digital startups have sprung up and started to develop in Indonesia such as its predecessors, namely GoJek, Bukalapak, Tokopedia, and Tiket.com which have become Unicorns. even Decacorn in Indonesia. The mapping of the distribution of the Digital Startup itself needs to be done so that the application of a creative society or the Society of Creativity can be carried out in Indonesia, especially in the current Era 5.0 Society. Geographic Information System is a platform that provides management of spatial data (spatial data) and non-spatial data (attribute data) that can be used to map specific case studies to achieve a specific goal. At present Geographic Information Systems can be developed based on Web or WebGIS. The mapping of the distribution of Digital Startups in Indonesia is currently carried out to facilitate the Government in monitoring and developing the number of digital startups in Indonesia, so that people who are capable of being competitive and creative can be formed in Indonesia because they are always monitored and well developed by the Government. Research on Mapping the Distribution of Digital Startups in the Implementation of the Society of Creativity in Indonesia is based on WebGIS. The editor that will be used is ArcGIS Online.

Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) graduates are prepared to enter the workforce. It is essential for every SMK graduate to possess specialized skills to support their future career development. In the culinary arts program, for instance, students can leverage digital marketing techniques through social media platforms to market their products. Recognizing the significance of social media utilization, particularly Instagram, as a medium for business information and promotion, there is a need for digital marketing literacy among SMK Tunas Karya students. This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to enhance students' competencies in managing social media for digital business marketing. Through socialization and training initiatives, students are expected to comprehend digital marketing strategies via Instagram to support business activities. The program's success indicators include improved student understanding of Instagram usage as a communication medium and business promotion platform, as well as enhanced student proficiency in managing and presenting content creatively. Through the implementation of social media-based digital marketing strategies, students can expand their business reach, facilitate transactions, and increase profitability.
