Abstract

Based on the findings of observations, it was determined that students in class V still lacked adequate communication skills. It was found that only 50% of students saw the other person when communicating, 50% of students with a clear voice when speaking, 40% of students used good grammar, 40% of students with mastery of material content, and 45% of students who used gestures and facial expressions as communication aids. This study aims to address the issue of students' verbal and nonverbal communication skills in class V UPT SD Negeri 51 Gresik in order to apply the role-playing method to social studies learning. Class Action Research Method (CAR). The steps taken to conduct this research were divided into four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The method of collecting data in this study is observing teacher activities, observing student activities, and observing students' communication skills. According to the findings of this study's analysis, using the role-playing technique enables students to develop effective communication with teachers and their peers. Then in the implementation of role playing or doing role play, students are more active and responsive from the beginning to the end of learning. Thus the role playing method to improve students' communication skills is declared effective.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning media for Pantun Train based on Local Wisdom so that Grade 4 Elementary School students are able to understand rhyme material, can distinguish types of rhymes and their examples and as a form of effort to understand the wisdom of local communities and to find out the validity of learning media for students fourth grade Elementary School. This research was conducted at SDN 30 Gresik, Kebomas District, Gresik Regency. The model used is the 4-D model developed by Thiagarajan with modifications by researchers so that it becomes three stages including define, design, and develop. The results of the research given by the validator to the Train Pantun Learning Media based on Local Wisdom in Indonesian language subjects grade 4 at SDN 30 Gresik, namely the validation of media experts I and media experts II got an average score of 96% while in the validation of material experts I and material experts II obtained an average value of 97%. The results of this study are included in the very valid category for use in the learning process of 4th grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Minat baca siswa sangat dipengaruhi oleh program dan inovasi yang dilakukan baik oleh sekolah maupun guru itu sendiri. Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum berupaya melakukan literasi dalam rangkah memberikan vasilitas belajar siswa.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah Gerakan Literasi Madrasah berpengaruh terhadap minat baca dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di MI Miftahul Ulum Gresik. Jenis eksperimen pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan bersamaan dengan desain penelitian ex post facto. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 62 siswa dari kelas IV A sebanyak 31 siswa dan IV B sebanyak 31 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, angket, pre test dan post test. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji paired sample t-test antar kedua subjek. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, rata-rata nilai pre-test adalah 76,97, sedangkan nilai post-test adalah 96,39. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa secara statistik, nilai rata-rata post test lebih tinggi dari pre test (adanya peningkatan). Berdasarkan nilai Sig (2-tailed) dari “Paired Samples Test”, hal ini terjadi. kurang dari 0,000 < 0,05 tolak H0 dan terima H1 berdasarkan keputusan yang dibuat dalam pedoman pengambilan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan tes. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan budaya literasi mempunyai pengaruh terhadap minat baca siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan mendapatkan respon positif dari guru.

Abstract

A study in grade 4 shows that using slang from the Tiktok application affects how children use familiar words. Identifying the influence of Tiktok on the use of standard terms in 4th-grade elementary school children is the aim of the researchers to conduct research. This research method collects data qualitatively to provide specific information about a particular problem. Qualitative and observational methods were used to collect this data, interviews and written tests. The subjects of this study were 26 grade 4 students of UPT SD Negeri 32 Gresik. This research on grade 4 students shows that half of the students use slang and mixed language. Also, common words are only used by half of the other students. With these results, teachers and parents can determine how much Tiktok impacts children's language styles

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tinggi nya permainan-permainan online yang mereka mainkan adalah roblox, mobile lagend, sakura school simulator, minicraft, stambler, free fire atau yang biasa disebut ff, playerUnknown’s battleground atau yang biasa disebut PUBG. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh game online terhadap minat baca siswa kelas II SD. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Seluruh siswa kelas II SD dengan berjumlah 22 siswa sebagai populasi pada penelitian ini dengan angket untuk mengetahui minat baca dan minat bermain game online sebagai instrumen penelitian. Korelasi Pearson menggunakan program aplikasi komputer SPSS versi 28 for windows digunakan dalam analisis data pada penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini dengan koefisien personal menujukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,358 dengan taraf sifnifikansi 5% atau bisa dikatakan tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara game online dengan minat baca siswa kelas II SD. Kesimpulan dilakukan nya penelitian diyakini bahwa siswa yang memiliki minat bermain game online tidak serta merta memiliki minat membaca yang rendah. Selain itu, diyakini bahwa siswa dengan minat bermain game online yang rendah belum tentu siswa tersebut memiliki minat membaca yang tinggi.

Abstract

Writing activity is a way for someone to express an idea or a way to communicate, indirectly conveying messages in written form. In Indonesian language lessons, it is closely related to material that requires students to be able to write good and correct Indonesian. As is the case with persuasive sentence material in grade IV elementary school, in learning about persuasive sentences students still have difficulty understanding the subject matter presented. The main difficulty factors experienced by students are that they are not used to writing and making persuasive sentences, limited vocabulary so it is still difficult to arrange words into persuasive sentences. So from the existing problems, researchers tried to use scrapbook media assistance in the learning process in the classroom, with the help of scrapbooks being able to attract students' attention and increase learning interest in following the learning process because previously in the learning process they had never used media assistance.

Abstract

This study examines writing and discussion techniques for fifth grade subjects in MI Miftahul Ulum. The aim is to present the method of learning subjects in the classroom. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data analysis, data collection is done by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. “Data analysis is centered on understanding how students use knowledge and writing in their ad texts. By using the Point Counter Point method, students can better understand the information they are learning. This leads to increased participation and more dialogue among students. The results of this study revealed that the use of the PCP method improved memory, motor and perceptual development in students. Moreover, it is shown to be helpful in improving communication, reasoning, and perception among students. The PCP method uses four aspects of writing, each with an indicator consisting of multiple averages. These aspects include motor skills by 86.2%, behavioral traits by 93.1%, perception by 88.5%, and memory by 86.3%. When calculating the overall score for this indicator, the PCP method is considered one of the most effective ways to learn

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan media pembelajaran Scrapbook materi sistem peredaran darah manusia kelas V di Sekolah Dasar dan mengetahui kelayakan media yang dilihat dari kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan terhadap media Scrapbook pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan model (R & D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi, THB dan angket. Hasil yang diperoleh antara lain, a) hasil validasi dari 2 validator ahli media dalam menilai Scrapbook menyatakan valid dan hasil validasi dari 2 validator ahli materi Scrapbook menyatakan sangat valid, b) Media scapbook peredaran darah efektif digunakan dalam kelas,  dan c) hasil respon pengguna media Scrapbook dalam kategori sangat baik. Media Scrapbook pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia secara keseluruhan memperolah nilai sangat baik, sehingga layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran materi peredaran darah di kelas.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan remedial teaching pada mata pelajaran matematika materi pengukuran panjang, berat, dan waktu di UPT SD Negeri 12 Gresik. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan vertifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan guru dalam mendiagnosis kesulitan belajar matematika peserta didik dengan mengidentifikasi peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan melalui analisis nilai ulangan harian matematika materi pengukuran panjang, berat, dan waktu, dan mencari tahu letak kesulitan belajar peserta didik dengan melihat hasil kerjanya. Pelaksanaan remedial teaching menggunakan pendekatan kuratif. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan remedial teaching, yaitu pemberian tugas dan tanya jawab. Rekomendasi untuk peserta didik yang masih mengalami kesulitan belajar adalah dengan diberikan soal sebagai latihan. Bagi peserta didik yang masih remedi diberi soal dengan materi tetap dan dipelajari ulang, sementara peserta didik yang sudah tuntas diberi soal dengan materi selanjutnya.

Abstract

In learning science in elementary schools, there are still many misconceptions, especially about animal metamorphosis material. Based on this then conducted research That aims To develop learning media Scrapopbox animal metamorphosis material. The process of developing learning media uses the development model that has been developed by Reiser and Mollenda, the ADDIE model with five stages, namely analysis, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the development are in the form of Scrapopbox learning media in which there are scrap, pop-ups, and miniature toy animals. This study involved 18 grade V students. The data collection used was the validation of learning media, THB, and response questionnaires. With data analysis, namely analysis of validity, analysis of effectiveness, and analysis of user responses. Based on the analysis of data validation results, trials and user responses of Scrapopbox media, animal metamorphosis material meets the good criteria. The results of learning media validation by two media expert validators obtained a percentage of 87.5% which was categorized as valid and could be used during the learning process. It is categorized as effective from the results of THB, the results of the percentage of classical learning completeness are 100%, then the students' learning completeness is achieved because it reaches a score of ≥ 75%, for the results of students' responses to Scrapopbox media reaching a percentage of 98.33 % which is categorized as very good.
