Abstract

AbstrakPandemi COVID-19 menyebabkan perubahan tatanan kehidupan dunia khususnya tatanan masyarakat di Negara Indonesia. Salah satunya adalah pelaksanaan pendidikan menjadi Belajar dari Rumah. Minimnya kegiatan anak diluar rumah dikarenakan berubahnya pola hidup dimana kini anak lebih suka bermain gadget dibandingkan bermain dengan teman seusianya tentu membawa dampak yang beraneka, salah satunya cuek terhadap alam. Maka perlu dilakukan kegiatan  yang menstimulasi anak untuk lebih aktif, kreatif, serta peka terhadap lingkungan. Penanaman  karakter peduli lingkungan melalui perilaku peduli tanaman sebagai bagian dari lingkungan terdekat anak, perlu diberikan kepada anak sejak dini. Penelitian dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan informasi sejauh mana karakter peduli tanaman pada anak usia dini terstimulasi dengan berbagai kegiatan yang dilakukan anak selama mereka belajar di rumah. Pengenalan karakter peduli tanaman, dapat terlihat dalam perilaku  kepedulian anak menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekitar tanaman, kepedulian anak menjaga dan merawat tanaman, kepedulian anak akan keberlangsungan tanaman, mensyukuri atas ciptaan Tuhan atas tanaman sebagai wujud dari upaya mencegah kerusakan pada lingkungan alam di sekitarnya, dan mengembangkan upaya untuk memperbaiki kerusakan alam yang sudah terjadi.

Abstract

Character education is now indeed a major issue of education, apart from being part of the process of forming the nation's children's character, character education is also expected to be the main foundation in the success of Indonesia Gold 2025. Seeing these problems we need a method that can be used to improve the character of discipline, creativity, hard work and communication skills in class. One method that can be used is role playing. Role playing activities in kindergarten can achieve optimal achievement of all aspects of child development. The purpose of this study is to describe the character values ​​that appear during the role play. This research is a qualitative research based on the philosophy of postpositivism. The results of the research show that there are several character values ​​that are integrated in role playing, namely religious values, discipline values, honest values, hard work values, creative values, independent values, curiosity values, national spirit values, friendly/communicative values, love values. peace, the value of reading, the value of caring for the environment, the value of social care, the value of democracy, and the value of responsibility. The impact of character value analysis research in role playing is the integration of several character values ​​in role playing activities.

Abstract

Era digital menuntut para pendidik untuk memiliki kemampuan beradaptasi dengan teknologi yang mendukung proses pembelajaran dan peningkatan kinerja. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan adalah melalui Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM), sebuah inovasi dari Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia untuk mendukung implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Namun, hadirnya PMM tidak dapat digunakan secara maksimal oleh guru SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Semarang, karena belum mengerti dan memahami dalam pengoperasian dan pemanfaatannya terutama terkait dengan bukti karya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Semarang dalam hal membuat bukti karya pembelajaran sehingga mendukung peningkatan kinerja guru yang profesional. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman PMM dan kemampuan guru dalam membuat bukti karya pembelajaran, yang ditunjukkan dengan semua guru (100%) menghasilkan modul ajar, bahan ajar, artikel ilmiah, dan praktik baik.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan musik modern menyebabkan berkurangnya pengenalan musik tradisional pada anak usia dini, sehingga diperlukan media pembelajaran yang mampu menstimulasi kecerdasan musikal sekaligus mengenalkan budaya lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan musik angklung terhadap peningkatan kecerdasan musikal anak usia dini, khususnya pada aspek mengikuti tempo, mengenali ritme, menyelaraskan bunyi, dan bermain musik secara berkelompok. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain one-group pretest–posttest yang melibatkan 14 anak kelompok B di taman kanak-kanak. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan tes kinerja menggunakan instrumen kecerdasan musikal yang terdiri atas 10 indikator penilaian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 17,00 meningkat menjadi 27,71 pada posttest. Hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,002 (<0,05), yang mengindikasikan adanya peningkatan kecerdasan musikal anak secara signifikan setelah perlakuan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan alat musik tradisional berbasis budaya lokal dapat menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran yang mendukung stimulasi kecerdasan musikal anak usia dini secara kontekstual dan partisipatif.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of female principals in early childhood education (ECE) in fostering children’s social-emotional development toward achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4). A convergent mixed-method survey was conducted with 164 female ECE principals in Central Java, Indonesia. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative responses were examined through thematic analysis to explain contextual challenges. The findings reveal that democratic leadership is the most dominant style (78% “always”), followed by delegative (70%), transformational (68%), and authoritarian leadership (42%). The relatively high use of authoritarian leadership indicates that principals often combine participatory and directive approaches in response to contextual challenges, including limited teacher competence and institutional constraints. The novelty of this study lies in three aspects. First, unlike previous Indonesian studies that mainly focused on teacher performance and administrative effectiveness, this study directly links female leadership styles with children’s social-emotional development outcomes. Second, this study integrates gender-based leadership analysis with the Socio-Ecological Model, emphasizing that children’s development is influenced not only by school leadership but also by collaboration among schools, families, and communities. Third, this study proposes a categorized framework of structural, human resource, and socio-cultural barriers that mediate leadership effectiveness in ECE institutions. The findings demonstrate that leadership effectiveness in ECE cannot be measured solely through managerial success, but through its contribution to holistic child development. This study also challenges the assumption that democratic leadership alone guarantees educational quality, showing that systemic support, teacher readiness, and parental involvement significantly shape leadership outcomes. The study repositions female leadership in ECE as outcome-oriented leadership that prioritizes children’s developmental well-being in line with SDG 4.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the level of implementation of Integrated Quality Management (IQM) in Early Childhood Education (ECE) institutions and to identify strengths and variations across different institutional dimensions. The study employed a descriptive quantitative survey design. Data were collected from 100 accredited ECE institutions in Semarang City, Indonesia, using a structured questionnaire consisting of 20 items covering seven IQM dimensions. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics to examine mean scores, variation, performance categories, and rankings for each dimension. The results indicate that the overall level of IQM implementation falls within the “good” category (M = 3.15; SD = 0.29). The learning process dimension shows the highest level of implementation, while quality culture has the lowest mean score and the highest variation. Most institutions are categorized as “Good” and “Very Good,” indicating relatively homogeneous quality management practices among accredited institutions, although variations remain in organizational culture and support systems. These findings suggest that while pedagogical quality has been well managed, strengthening quality culture remains a key challenge. Enhancing leadership capacity, internal quality assurance systems, and continuous improvement mechanisms are essential to improving IQM implementation in ECE. This study provides comprehensive empirical evidence on IQM implementation in ECE within a developing country context and contributes to the global discourse on quality assurance and educational management.
