Abstract

Learning local history is very important in the development of education in Indonesia. Local history is able to understand society about the origin of its history, so that the community is able to better deal with the future. Local history learning needs to be maximized in school education, one of which is by adding local history teaching material itself. This research was conducted with the aim to analyze the use of local history teaching materials in learning to support the literacy of local historical culture. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods that involve teachers and students. Research techniques used by observation, interviews, and reviewing several related documents. Observations were made at two high schools in Madiun Regency, namely SMAN 1 Mejayan and SMAN 1 Geger. The results showed that: (1) historical teaching materials used did not support the literacy of local historical culture, (2) students needed additional local history materials that allowed them to conduct research and improve the history of literacy connected with local history.Keywords: literacy; local history; madiun; teaching materials

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of student motivation in studying history subjects at SMA N 1 Banda Aceh. The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of using CORE learning model toward the students’ motivation in learning historical subject. This study employed quantitative method in nature. Pre-Experimental was employed with one group pre-and posttests design. The population in this study was all students of class XI which consisted of 5 classes. Twenty students of class XI IPS 1 from that population were selected using purposive sampling technique as the sample of this study. The documentation and a set of questionnaire were used as the instruments to collect the data of this study. Simple linear regression was used to analyze the data collected. The results showed that the application of the learning model has been successfully implemented in historical subjects. In addition, the current study also reported that the students' responses toward the implementation of CORE learning model were good. It indicated with a large influence (R2) of 29%, the rest was influenced by environmental factors. The results of the hypothesis test obtained that the value of T count = 2.967, and the value of T table = 2.101, which means T count T table or 2.9672.101. According to the test criteria then Ha is accepted. Thus, the application of the CORE learning model influenced the students’ learning motivation in learning the history subject in class XI IPS 1 of Senior High School 1 Banda Aceh.Keywords: Connecting, organizing, reflecting, extending, learning model, students’ learning motivation.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kitab suci Al-Qur’an menghormati kedudukan ilmu pengetahuan lebih dari kitab-kitab suci lainnya termasuk ilmu sejarah yang banyak disebutkan di dalam Al-Qur’an. Al-Qur’an yang dapat dijadikan sebagai penguat mempelajari sejarah. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep ilmu sejarah dan integrasi keislaman.  Metode dalam penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pustaka, penelitian pustakan dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data maupun informasi dengan menggunakan bantuan dari bermacam-macam sumber referensi. Hasil penelitian Integrasi Ilmu sejarah dan Islam dalam artikel ini adalah : 1) menjadikan Al-Qur’an sebagai sumber pembelajaran sejarah, 2) menelusuri ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an yang menjelaskan tentang ilmu sejarah serta pentingnya belajar sejarah, 3) pembelajaran sejarah dan integrasi Islam. Konsep integrasi ilmu sejarah dan islam adalah dengan menjadikan Ilmu Agama sebagai sumber penguat pembelajaran sejarah.Abstract: The Holy Qur'an respects the position of more science than other sacred books including the historical sciences which are widely mentioned in the Qur'an. Qur'an that can be used as an amplifier to learn history. This article aims to examine the concept of historical sciences and Islamic integration.  The method in this research is a type of library research, pustulates research conducted by collecting data and information using the help of various reference sources. The research results of the integration of historical and Islamic sciences in this article are: 1) making the Qur'an as a source of historical learning, 2) tracing the verses of the Qur'an describing the historical sciences and the importance of learning history, 3) historical learning and the integration of Islam. The concept of integration of historical and Islamic Sciences is to make the science of religion as a source of history learning reinforcement.

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease 2019 is currently still volatile. Large-scale restrictions stop activities outside the home that have a broad impact on life, including the field of education. Learning activities transition into online learning at home. Changes due to this condition pose challenges as well as opportunities for students and educators. The purpose of this study is to explore information on challenges and opportunities in online learning so that the results of this study can provide policy recommendations in the implementation of learning in the following semester. This survey research was conducted by distributing questionnaires (google forms) related to the challenges and learning opportunities for the second-semester students of the 2019 batch of Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang. The results obtained indicate that elements of student dissatisfaction dominate each aspect of the majority during online learning. The conclusion obtained from this research is that online learning has obstacles to be transformed into opportunities as an alternative problem solving to the stability of the quality of Education.

Abstract

The research aimed to describe why alcoholic beverage products belonging to foreign countries can be registered in Indonesia's Geographical Indications (GI) protection regime. It outlined the legal implications of protecting foreign alcoholic beverage products in the GI protection regime. The research was normative legal research which was strengthened by interviews. The research shows that the protection of foreign alcoholic beverages in the national GI regime is caused by two factors, including disharmony between law 20/2016 and Permenkumham number 12 the Year 2019, and the GI regime gives each member country the freedom to apply the GI provisions in accordance with their national interests. Furthermore, the implications for the protection of foreign alcoholic beverage products in the GI protection regime in Indonesia, besides showing the inconsistency of GI protection arrangements for alcoholic beverage products, also injure the sense of justice for traditional alcoholic beverage activists who want their traditional knowledge products to be protected through the GI regime.

Abstract

The research is the students who are still less active and the lack of variations in the learning model used and not optimal in its application. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of the make a match cooperative learning in social studies class VIII subjects at MTsN 1 Malang, as well as to proves that the application of the make a match learning model has an effect on the activity and learning outcomes in social studies class VIII at MTsN 1 Malang. This study uses experimental quantitative research with a true experimental design, posttest only control design. The sample was determined by purposive sampling, class VIII G as the control class and class VIII H as the experimental class. The data analysis technique used was comparative analysis using the Paired Sample T-test with a significance level of (0,05). Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the application of make a match students were more active and student learning outcomes were much above the KKM, with a significance of 0,000 < 0,05 then Ho1 was rejected and Ha1 was accepted, so there was an influence of the make a match cooperative learning model on learning activity. And a significance of 0.000 <0.05, then Ho2 is rejected and Ha2 is accepted, so there is an influence of the make a match cooperative learning model on learning outcomes. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh peserta didik yang masih kurang aktif dan kurangnya variasi model pembelajaran yang digunakan serta kurang maksimal dalam penerapannya, Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif make a match pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas VIII di MTsN 1 Malang, serta untuk membuktikan penerapan model pembelajaran make a match berpengaruh terhadap keaktifan dan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas VIII di MTsN 1 Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain true eksperimental, post-test only control design. Sampel ditentukan dengan purposive sampling, kelas VIII G sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VIII H sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan analisis komparasi dengan menggunakan uji-t Paired Sample T-test dengan taraf signifikansi (0,05). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa penerapan make a match siswa lebih aktif dan hasil belajar siswa banyak diatas KKM, dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 maka Ho1 ditolak dan Ha1 diterima, maka terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif make a match terhadap keaktifan belajar. Dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, maka Ho2 ditolak dan Ha2 diterima, maka terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif make a match terhadap hasil belajar.

Abstract

Islamization basically occurs in various regions, one of which is the target of Islamization is a strategic area inhabited by the majority of Islam, namely Southeast Asia.  The news can be seen from the process of entering Islam in various ways, for example, one of which is by peaceful means, as stated in proselytizing, music art and various ways so that no violence or coercion is found. Islam entered Southeast Asia through trade channels which were sourced from various countries, one of which was from Arabia and India. The methodology in this article uses a descriptive qualitative approach in using historical methods. The researchers' findings in this research process include; (1) The process of arrival through trade routes that cross southeast Asia so that inter-people-to-people conflicts result in Islamization in this region; (2) The results of the study also reveal the fact that Islamization also occurs in the sectors of marriage, friendship and strong proselytizing. This article reveals that the fact of Islamization is very strong in Southeast Asian society.

Abstract

Islamization in Indonesia has been through a different process in each region. The spread of Islam in Indonesia has occurred in several ways, including preaching (da'wah). Walisongo is an Islamic figure who plays a significant role in the spread of Islam, especially in Java. Besides Walisongo, other Islamic figures also preached to disseminate Islam in Indonesia. This research emphasizes the biography of Sheikh Hisammuddin and his contribution to Islamization, especially in Lamongan. The method used in the research is the historical method, which consists of five stages of research: topic selection, heuristic, source criticism, interpretation, and finally, the historiography stage. This research aims to comprehend the biography of Sheikh Hisamuddin, the model of the spread of Islam by Sheikh Hisamuddin in Lamongan, and the exemplary example of Sheikh Hisamuddin as a preacher of Islam. As a direct descendant of Sunan Ampel, he has his method of spreading Islam, such as a cultural approach, social approach, elements of tawhid, political methods, and Pondok Lelono. In addition to contributing to the development of Islam in Lamongan, Sheikh Hisamuddin has an exemplary attitude; he is a person who is diligent and pious, hardworking, wise, devout in worship, and firm.

Abstract

UMKM are an important component in the economic structure in Indonesia, because of their significant presence in the economy and provide broad employment opportunities for enthusiasts. However, there are still many UMKM players who do not understand efforts to increase competitiveness, one of which is the need to have a halal certificate and also the importance of branding UMKM products. Therefore, this Student Work Lecture activity aims to be able to contribute to providing halal certification assistance and making banners for UMKM in Sukopuro Village, Jabung, Malang Regency. Assistance activities are carried out using the ABCD (Asset Base Community Developmenet) approach method. The results of this community service activity are assistance in registering halal certification and supporting banners for UMKM.

Abstract

Globalization has a significant impact on changes in global values that can marginalize local values that are rich in wisdom. This can have implications for the weakening of one's national identity. Efforts to increase public awareness can be through learning History by making digital comic development products of Singhasari culture. The development aims to produce digital comics of local history based on Singhasari cultural heritage for History learning of MA class X students. Research and Development method of ADDIE model is applied in this research. The results showed that: 1) The analysis stage identifies the need for contextual and interesting digital-based learning media and the gap in students' understanding of local history material 2) The design stage produces storyboards, characters and visual content tailored to learning the history and cultural heritage of Raja Singhasari 3) The Development stage involves validation from material and media experts. The media expert test obtained a score of 86 and the material expert test obtained a score of 85 which indicated that the product was suitable for implementation 4) The implementation stage of 30 class X students obtained a percentage of 88.33 which showed a positive response to the aspects of content, appearance and usefulness of digital commils as learning media. 5) The Evaluation Stage provides user feedback based on the results of the digital comic trial which results in the feasibility of the product being used as a History learning media in class X at the SMA / MA level. Recommendations and follow-up to this research are to conduct experiments aimed at testing the effectiveness of the product
