Abstract

This research used descriptive method Correlation Ex Post Facto (CEPF). Participants in this research were 177 students from SMA Negeri department Banda Aceh. The author found the main problem of intolerance that is the low social behavior, attitudes individualistic, until the crisis of harmonization within individualistic students. Based on these problems, the authors designed a strategy in tackling the crisis of intolerance on students through the stages of correlation analysis Ex Post Facto (CEPF). The phases include test partial correlation analysis, simple regression and multiple regression. The results showed that: (1) there is a significant positive relationship between the sense of history with an attitude tolerance of students; (2) there is a significant positive relationship between religious values with tolerance of high school students  ; (3) there is a significant positive relationship between the understanding of multi-ethnic tolerance students; and (4) are jointly relationship between awareness of history, religious values and understanding of multi-ethnic tolerance with students. Based on the results of the study, authors state that the increased tolerance due to the high contribution of awareness of history, religious values and understanding of the multi-ethnic students through socialization in the process of teaching history.Keywords: Awareness of History, Religious Values, Multi-Ethnic Understanding, Tolerance Attitude Students. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif Correlation Ex Post Facto (CEPF). Penulis menemukan masalah utama intoleransi yaitu rendahnya prilaku sosial, sikap individualistik, hingga krisis harmonisasi dalam diri individualistik siswa. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut penulis merancang strategi dalam menanggulangi krisis sikap intoleransi pada diri siswa melalui tahapan analisis korelasi Ex Post Facto (CEPF), dengan tahapan meliputi uji analisis korelasi parsial, regresi sederhana dan regresi ganda. Penulis menyajikan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kesadaran sejarah dengan sikap Toleransi siswa SMA N Banda Aceh; (2) terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara religious values dengan sikap toleransi siswa SMA N Banda Aceh; (3) terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara pemahaman multi-etnis dengan sikap toleransi siswa SMA N Banda Aceh; dan (4) terdapat hubungan secara bersama antara kesadaran sejarah, religious values dan pemahaman multi-etnis dengan sikap toleransi siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian penulis menyatakan bahwa, peningkatan sikap toleransi disebabkan oleh tingginya sumbangan kesadaran sejarah, religious values dan pemahaman multi-etnis siswa melalui sosialisasi dalam proses pembelajaran sejarah.Kata Kunci: Kesadaran Sejarah, Religious Values, Pemahaman Multi-Etnis, Sikap Toleransi Siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of tutoring on student learning outcomes. This study employed a descriptive and quantitative approach. The population of this research was the first year students of the Mathematics Education Study Program for the 2019/2020 academic year. The research sample was 50 students, selected by purposive sampling from four classes of students. Data collection was conducted using the test instrument for student learning outcomes before and after the tutoring. The data were analyzed using the t-test. The results showed that there was a significant effect of tutoring on student learning outcomes in the differential calculus course. Tutoring activities outside of lecture activities need to be continued in other courses in future lectures.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif Correlation Ex Post Facto (CEPF). Penelitian korelasi Ex Post Fakto merupakan jenis penelitian yang berfokus pada analisis hubungan antar variabel, yang diuji melalui statistik korelasional dan analisis regresi. Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya prilaku sosial, sikap individualistik, hingga krisis harmonisasi dalam diri individualistik siswa. Tahapan penelitian ini meliputi uji analisis korelasi parsial, regresi sederhana dan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukanahwa: (1) terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kesadaran sejarah dengan sikap Toleransi siswa SMA N Banda Aceh; (2) terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara religious values dengan sikap toleransi siswa SMA N Banda Aceh; (3) terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara pemahaman multi-etnis dengan sikap toleransi siswa SMA N Banda Aceh; dan (4) terdapat hubungan secara bersama antara kesadaran sejarah, religious values dan pemahaman multi-etnis dengan sikap toleransi siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian penulis menyatakan bahwa, peningkatan sikap toleransi disebabkan oleh tingginya sumbangan kesadaran sejarah, religious values dan pemahaman multi-etnis siswa melalui sosialisasi dalam proses pembelajaran sejarah.

Abstract

The research aimed to describe the life history of King Sejong the Great and his contribution to the field of alphabet and law, especially law for convict, marriage, and heir. The method applied in the research was the historical method. The results show that Korea is in a golden age because of his policies during his leadership. His most outstanding contribution is the hangeul alphabet which gradually replaced idu and hanja. In addition, in the field of law or policy regarding prisoner sentences, the law must be fair and adjusted to the age limit, and the community must understand the law. Marriage law where women can only marry when they are 14 years old. The last is the law of heirs, which divides fairly and is no longer patriarchal. These policies are related to moral ethics, virtue, truth, and wisdom based on Confucianism.

Abstract

The research aimed to describe why alcoholic beverage products belonging to foreign countries can be registered in Indonesia's Geographical Indications (GI) protection regime. It outlined the legal implications of protecting foreign alcoholic beverage products in the GI protection regime. The research was normative legal research which was strengthened by interviews. The research shows that the protection of foreign alcoholic beverages in the national GI regime is caused by two factors, including disharmony between law 20/2016 and Permenkumham number 12 the Year 2019, and the GI regime gives each member country the freedom to apply the GI provisions in accordance with their national interests. Furthermore, the implications for the protection of foreign alcoholic beverage products in the GI protection regime in Indonesia, besides showing the inconsistency of GI protection arrangements for alcoholic beverage products, also injure the sense of justice for traditional alcoholic beverage activists who want their traditional knowledge products to be protected through the GI regime.

Abstract

This research traces the origin of traditional fracture treatment, and identifies the values of local wisdom, especially in traditional healing process performed by the tabib family and to describe how the traditional healing system is developed from ancient times to the present. This study used a qualitative approach and historical methods through topic selection, heuristics or collecting sources, verification or source criticism, and sources and historiography interpretation. Based on the research that has been conducted, the following results were obtained: (1) Fracture treatment has been performed since 1950 in Aceh, especially among the tabib family coming from South Aceh through the inheritance of knowledge from generation to generation; (2) The regeneration process was performed in the healer family, in this case the father inherited from his children or grandparents to his grandchildren to study this knowledge, and practiced it in their entire life; (3) Entering the modern era, traditional medicine has developed in several aspects, so, people tend to believe in this treatment. This study is a part of the historical local wisdom (HLW) to determine how the development of traditional medicine in Aceh from time to time.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai budaya toleransi kepada siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Banda Aceh melalui pembelajaran sejarah, pada dasarnya dalam budaya toleransi tersebut terkandung nilai-nilai yang berkaitan dengan keberagaman, suku, etnis, sosial dan agama. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, serta mengkaji dokumen dan arsip pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu; (1) mendeskripsikan pemahaman guru tentang nilai-nilai budaya toleransi; (2) mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai budaya toleransi dalam pembelajaran sejarah; (3) mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor kendala internalisasi nilai-nilai budaya toleransi dalam pembelajaran sejarah SMA Negeri 1 Banda Aceh. Dengan demikian, maka kesimpulannya adalah; (1) pemahaman guru terhadap nilai-nilai budaya toleransi dipahami secara mendasar dan baik, dikarenakan hal tersebut penting untuk diajarkan kepada siswa yang mengandung nilai kebebasan, kebudayaan, saling menghargai, aktifitas sosial, agama serta dapat diterapkan dalam beberapa mata pelajaran yang relevan ; (2) proses internalisasi nilai-nilai budaya sikap toleransi dalam pembelajaran sejarah dilaksanakan oleh guru sejarah melalui tiga tahapan kegiatan pembelajaran, yaitu kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup, yang disimpulkan dalam RPP; (3) faktor-faktor kendala dalam internalisasi nilai-nilai budaya sikap toleransi pada pembelajaran sejarah adalah rendahnya tingkat keaktifan siswa, kurangnya pemahaman siswa dalam menyerapi materi, dan kesulitan dalam mengerjakan tugas serta keterbatasan alokasi waktu dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Learning resources are part of learning that is very important for the success or failure of learning. So far, experience has shown that many lecturers who teach on campus still rely on books as the main reference in their teaching process. Of course, this cannot be called wrong, but making textbooks the only reference work has led to a decrease in the creativity of lecturers and students. This also happened to history subjects at UISU. In sixth semester history classes, where the subject is based mostly on facts and past events and one's memory is limited, books are very reliable in recalling the lecturer's memory of the material he taught the students. Likewise, students who are often given assignments by subject lecturers often make history textbooks and/or textbooks for other subjects, most of them make textbooks as learning resources and sources or materials to complete their subject assignments. The purpose of this work is to describe and analyze the use of history textbooks as a source of student learning in the history curriculum of the Islamic University of North Sumatra. The research method used in the preparation of this article is the literature review method, namely by means of sources obtained from books and scientific journals. The results of this study indicate that history textbooks play a very important role in ongoing history learning, so that it can be said that textbooks must have several content qualifications, which include the completeness of the material, the breadth and depth of the material. about the material and the accuracy of the material. Textbooks also have advantages and disadvantages, such as textbooks which must contain core and basic skills to support successful learning.

Abstract

Islamization basically occurs in various regions, one of which is the target of Islamization is a strategic area inhabited by the majority of Islam, namely Southeast Asia.  The news can be seen from the process of entering Islam in various ways, for example, one of which is by peaceful means, as stated in proselytizing, music art and various ways so that no violence or coercion is found. Islam entered Southeast Asia through trade channels which were sourced from various countries, one of which was from Arabia and India. The methodology in this article uses a descriptive qualitative approach in using historical methods. The researchers' findings in this research process include; (1) The process of arrival through trade routes that cross southeast Asia so that inter-people-to-people conflicts result in Islamization in this region; (2) The results of the study also reveal the fact that Islamization also occurs in the sectors of marriage, friendship and strong proselytizing. This article reveals that the fact of Islamization is very strong in Southeast Asian society.

Abstract

The article entitled Analysis of Aceh's Economic Recovery Post-Tsunami and Prolonged Conflict in 2005-2013, aims to analyze changes and developments in the Acehnese economy after experiencing natural disasters in the form of the tsunami and the prolonged conflict that occurred before the tsunami. This article uses a qualitative approach and is assisted by historical methods. The technique used in this article is a literature study technique. The results obtained in this study are the changes and economic developments of the Aceh province with the data that has been obtained in the literature study conducted. The economy in the first year after the tsunami can be seen that the Acehnese economy is in a very chaotic condition, even reaching minus in 2005 and becoming the region with the lowest economy in all of Indonesia. However, gradually Aceh began to rise from various sectors, be it economy, education, infrastructure, began to be built and progressed after the natural disaster and prolonged conflict.
