Abstract

Udang merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan di dalam bidang budidaya perikanan Indoneia.Salah satu jenis udang yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi dibandingkan dengan jenis udang lainnya adalah Udang Vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei), jenis udang ini sangat banyak diminati untuk dibudidayakan oleh pembudidaya.Hal ini dikarenakan keunggulan yang dimiliki oleh udang vaname membuat para pembudidaya memproduksinya, salah satu keunggulan yang dimiliki adalah memiliki sifat euryhaline yaitu mampu toleransi dan bertahan hidup pada salinitas yang luas.Berdasarkan sifat euryhaline yang dimiliki, udang vaname berpotensi untuk dibudidayakan di media salinitas rendah atau air tawar. Namun jika dibudidayakan di media air tawar maka akan banyak sekali masalah yang akan dihadapi salah satunya adalah tidak terpenuhinya mineral yang dibutuhkan oleh udang tersebut, untuk itu harus menambahkan beberapa jenis mineral yang dibutuhkan seperti kalsium dan fosfor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apa pengaruh pemberian kalsium hidroksida (Ca(OH)2) dan fosfor (P) terhadap pertumbuhan udang vaname yang dipelihara pada media air tawar, dengan dosis yang sesuai kebutuhan dapat memaksimalkan petumbuhan ada udang vaname yang dipelihara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Eksperimental dengan Racangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dati 5 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan, yaitu 80 ppm (Ca(OH)2), 80 ppm (Ca(OH)2) + 40 ppm P, 80 ppm (Ca(OH)2) + 80 ppm P, 80 ppm (Ca(OH)2) + 120 ppm P. penambahan mineral 80 ppm (Ca(OH)2) dan P memberikan pengaruh nyata pada pertumbuhan udang vaname, dengan nilai laju pertumbuhan bobot spesifik 2,70 %/hari, laju pertumbuhan panjang spesifik 6,62 %/hari, tingkat kelangsungan hidup 68,3 %, dan nilai rasio konversi pakan 1,06 terdapat pada P4 (Perlakuan 4).

Abstract

Octopus fishing activities are increasingly being carried out by local fishermen making the variety of catches uncontrollable. It is feared that this diversity of catches will affect the biological condition of the octopus, which will lead to a decrease in the catch of fishermen. This study aims to: (1) determine growth patterns, body shape, age group, condition factors, spawning/maturity fit and catchability in octopus fisheries management, (2) biological dimensions of octopus fisheries management, and (3) identify attributes / lever indicators to increase the index value and sustainability status of the biological dimensions of octopus fisheries management. The results showed that the growth patterns of octopuses landed on Pandanan Beach, North Lombok Regency, were negative allometric with a b value of 2.1600. Meanwhile, octopus body shape is in the less flattened category with a condition factor (K) value of 1.85, with 2 age groups, namely the first age group with a length range of 24 cm - 48 cm and the second age group with a length range of 49 cm - 68 cm. Meanwhile, the number of octopuses worth catching was 238 which weighed > 320 grams, and 2 octopuses that were not yet fit to catch weighed < 320 grams. The sustainability status of octopus management from the biological dimension obtained a value of 52.34% with a fairly sustainable status. The attributes that need priority attention are stock enrichment and range collapse. Changes to these two attributes will affect the increase or decrease in the value of the biological dimension sustainability index.

Abstract

Octopus is a mollusk which has high economic value. Ketapang Beach in East Lombok Regency is one of the octopus landing locations, so it is necessary to know the current conditions of the biological dimensions of octopuses, such as growth patterns, body shape, age group, catchability and spawning for sustainable octopus management. The purpose of this study was to find out the current condition of the octopus fishery sector, especially the biological dimension. The research uses a descriptive survey method, data and information comes from a population sample to describe objects according to actual conditions, then processed using regression. The research results stated that the growth pattern of octopuses landed on Ketapang Beach was negative allometric, where the b value was 5.161 (b>3), where the weight growth was greater than the increase in body length. The age group values at the location are dominated by octopuses of the adult age group with the highest coat length value > 12 cm with 38 individuals, and supported by 45 mature octopuses of which 38 individuals (76%) have PM > 12 cm, and 7 individuals (14 %) have PM 9 – 11 cm

Abstract

Budidaya belut yang umum digunakan selama ini adalah menggunakan substrat lumpur, namun terdapat beberapa kelemahan dalam metode ini baik dari segi waktu persiapan yang lama dan sulitnya dalam pemantauan. Salah satu solusinya adalah penggunaan media air jernih sebagai media pemeliharaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ketinggian air terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup belut sawah tanpa substrat. Belut yang digunakan memiliki bobot rata-rata 19,38±1,30 gram dan panjang rata-rata 6,78±1,01 cm yang dipelihara selama 70 hari masa pemeliharaan dalam dua ketinggian air yang berbeda, yaitu (A) 3 cm dan (B) 5 cm. Berdasarkan hasil Uji t bebas menunjukkan perlakuan B memberikan pertumbuhan panjang mutlak yang lebih tinggi dengan nilai 2,24 cm serta kelangsungan hidup sekitar 80%. Namun tidak ada perbedaan nyata (P>0,05) pada pertumbuhan bobot mutlak (2,47-2,83 gram) dan laju pertumbuhan bobot spesifik (0,45-050%). Abstract

Vaname shrimp has several advantages compared to tiger shrimp that is they are more resistant to disease. Vaname shrimp can be maintained with a very wide salinity range, that is between 0.5-45 ppt.One of the deep problems in vaname shrimp cultivation is the growth of Vaname shrimp which is very slow due to inappropriate management of feed.The purpose of the study is to know the effect of the addition of Lactobacillus sp to the growth of weight, length, SR and FCR Vaname shrimp (Litopanaeus vanamei).This study was conducted using 4 (four) treatments and 3 (three) replications with treatment P1 = (7%), P2 = (9%), P3 = (11%) and P4 = (13%) research location was in Kidang Village and Microbiology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, on April 30-May 13 2019. Plant for 45 days and by measuring the parameters or treatment effects.The results showed that the addition of Lactobacillus sp. as follows,the lowest weight growth is at P1 = P1 = 6,3667±0,17g / head while the highest is in P4 = 7,6±0,23g / head,the lowest weight growth is at P1 = 4,4067±0,41 while P4 = 5,4067±0,12, the lowest SR is at P1 = 76.6% while the highest at P3 = 83.0% and the lowest FCR is at P3 = 2,6067±0,15 while the highest is at P3 = 2,6067±0,15.

Abstract

Pengaruh Penambahan Ekstrak Kulit Manggis (Garcinia mangostana) dengan Konsentrasi Berbeda Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Kelangsungan Hidup Udang Vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei). Tujuan dilakukan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan ekstrak kulit manggis dengan kosentrasi berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup udang vaname. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan sehingga diperoleh 12 unit percobaan. Pada perlakuan 1 (kontrol) tanpa ekstrak kulit manggis, perlakuan 2 dosis ekstrak kulit manggis 6%, perlakuan 3 dosis ekstrak kulit manggis 8% dan perlakuan 4 dosis ekstrak kulit manggis 10%. Parameter yang diukur berupa pertumbuhan berat mutlak, kelangsungan hidup dan efisiensi pakan. Perlakuan terbaik diperoleh pada perlakuan 4 dengan penambahan ekstrak kulit manggis (10%) dengan pertumbuhan bobot mutlak 3,96 gram, kelangsungan hidup 100% dan efisiensi pakan 6,73 %.

Abstract

Rumput laut merupakan salah satu komoditas perikanan yang potensial untuk dibudidayakan. Salah satu rumput laut yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi adalah Eucheuma cottoniiyang merupakanhasil kultur jaringanspesies alga merah penghasil karagenan dan memiliki banyak peranan penting bagi manusia..Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan pupuk Cair, NPK, Urea dan TSP dengan doses 100 gram terhadap laju pertumbuhan rumput lautEucheuma cottonii. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret- April 2019 dibalai laut Lombok Sekotong Kabupaten Lombok Barat.Metode yang di gunakan adalah RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Media pemeliharaan menggunakan air laut yang ditambahkan pupuk dengan dosis 100 gram, yaitu : P1 (Pupuk Cair), P2 (Pupuk NPK), P3 (Pupuk Urea) P4 (Pupuk TSP). Data yang diamati berupa Berat mutlak, Panjang mutlak, Pertumbuhan harian, Berat relatif, Panjang relatif dan kualitas air yang digunakan sebagai media pemeliharaan. Analisis data menggunakan ANOVA.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan Pupuk Cair, NPK, Urea dan TSP dengan doses 100 gram memberikan pengaruh berbeda sangat nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan Hidup Rumput laut Eucheuma cottonii. Laju pertumbuhan tertinggi pada Pupuk Urea sedangkan pertumbuhan terendah pada Pupuk TSP.

Abstract

This study aims to study the graduation rate of living and post growth of vaname shrimp larvae using multilevel salinity acclimatization methods maintained at low salinity. This study consisted of five treatments, and each treatment had 3 repeats. Thus in this study there were 15 experimental units. As a treatment is the adedation period of acclimatization decreases salinity as follows: Treatment 1: No decrease in salinity (30 ppt). Treatment 2: 6 day decreased salinity (30 ppt, 24 ppt, 18 ppt, 12 ppt, 6 ppt, 0 ppt). Treatment 3: 7 days decrease in salinity (30 ppt, 25 ppt, 20 ppt, 15 ppt, 10 ppt, 5 ppt, 0 ppt). Treatment 4: 8 days decrease in salinity (30 ppt, 26 ppt, 21 ppt, 17 ppt, 13 ppt, 9 ppt, 4 ppt, 0 ppt). Treatment 5: 9 days decrease in salinity (30 ppt, 26 ppt, 23 ppt, 19 ppt, 15 ppt, 11 ppt, 8 ppt, 4 ppt, 0 ppt). The results showed that the larvae of vaname shrimp that were kept at low salinity using acclimatization methods had no noticeable effect on survival rates. The survival rate is between 72% - 94.67%, has an absolute weight between 1.75 grams – 2.36 grams and an absolute length between 1.47 cm – 1.87 cm with a fcr value of 3.17 – 3.83. The oxygen consumption rate in vaname shrimp is 1.76 – 2.2.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the best acclimatization time for survival rate and growth of vaname shrimp. This research was carried out of for 22 days, started from February 5 to 26, 2021 at the Laboratory of Aquaculture Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Mataram. The research method used a completely randomized design with 5 treatments and 3 replications. Thus in this study there were 15 experimental units. As a treatment is the difference acclimatization periode was the decrease in salinity as follows : Treatment 1 : no decrease in salinity (30 ppt). Treatment 2 : 1 day decreased salinity (30 ppt, 0 ppt). Treatment 3 : 2 day decreased in salinity (30 ppt, 15 ppt, 0 ppt). Treatment 4 : 3 day decreased in salinity (30 ppt, 20 ppt, 10 ppt, 0 ppt). Treatment 5 : 4 day decreased in salinity (30 ppt, 23 ppt, 15 ppt, 8 ppt, 0 ppt). The results showed that the vaname shrimp that were kept at low salinity using acclimatization method had noticeable effect on survival rate. The value of survival rate between 1 % - 73 %, has an absolute weight between 0.0433 gram – 0.1802 gram and an absolute length bewtween 1.1 cm – 2.9 cm with food conversion ratio 0.1285 – 3.937. The oxygen consumption rate between 0.073 – 0.113.

Abstract

Litopenaeus vannamei is a high-economic fishery commodity that has euryhaline properties, which is tolerant of a wide range of salinity values ??(2 – 40 ppt). The euryhaline of vannamei shrimp are still not well optimized. The purpose of this study was to determine the appropriate dose of ketapang leaf addition to increase mineral solubility in freshwater vannamei shrimp culture medium. The results of this study are expected to be useful as information for vannamei shrimp cultivators in freshwater media about technology for meeting mineral levels in the media so as to maximize production value. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) method which consisted of 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment applied was the addition of ketapang leaves with different doses to increase the solubility of calcium carbonate (CaCO3) in cultivation media, namely A. Ketapang leaves (DK) 0 ppt + CaCO3 50 ppm; B. DK 120 ppm + CaCO3 50 ppm; C. DK 240 ppm + CaCO3 50 ppm; D. DK 360 ppm + CaCO3 50 ppm. The results showed that the appropriate dose of ketapang leaves that could increase mineral solubility in freshwater vannamei shrimp culture media was 360 ppm (treatment D). At this dose, the value of the specific weight growth rate of vannamei shrimp can increase, which is 0.76%/day. Treatment A is a control treatment that gives the lowest value for the specific weight growth value, which is 0.40 %/day.
