Abstract

Era digital membawa disrupsi besar bagi industri media, termasuk tv konvensional. Di Sulawesi Selatan, televisi menghadapi tantangan berat dari platform streaming dan media yang menawarkan konten personal dan sesuai permintaan. Artikel ini membahas strategi yang dapat diterapkan oleh televisi konvensional di Sulawesi Selatan untuk bertahan hidup dan berkembang di era digital. Strategi tersebut meliputi:Memfokuskan pada konten lokal yang berkualitas dan relevan bagi audiens regional, Berkolaborasi dengan platform digital untuk memperluas jangkauan dan menjangkau audiens baru, Mengadopsi teknologi baru seperti siaran digital dan interaktif untuk meningkatkan pengalaman menonton, Membangun komunitas dan interaksi dengan penonton melalui media sosial dan acara lokal. Pemerintah juga dapat memainkan peran penting dalam membantu televisi konvensional beralih ke era digital dengan menyediakan subsidi dan pelatihan. Edukasi masyarakat tentang manfaat menonton televisi konvensional, terutama bagi anak-anak, juga penting. Masa depan televisi konvensional kemungkinan akan terintegrasi dengan platform digital, menawarkan pengalaman menonton yang lebih fleksibel dan personal. Dengan strategi yang tepat dan kemauan untuk beradaptasi, televisi konvensional dapat terus melayani masyarakat dan menjadi bagian penting dari budaya lokal di Sulawesi Selatan.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant transformation in the world of education, requiring teachers to improve their abilities in innovative learning methods. This research focuses on training in using the Canva and Flipbook applications as tools in developing digital learning media. Initial observations show that many teachers still use conventional media due to limited time and knowledge in design. Through a workshop held on October 5 2024, 54 participants from various educational institutions were trained to develop digital educational content. The results of the training show an increase in teacher competence in using Canva's advanced features and techniques for creating digital interactive books using Flipbook. Participants successfully integrated multimedia elements into learning, creating a more interesting and interactive learning experience. This workshop also builds professional networks between students and teachers, and increases teacher motivation to continue developing their digital competencies. In conclusion, this activity succeeded in improving the quality of the teaching and learning process through more effective use of digital technology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji fungsi pemimpin dalam kepemimpinan pendidikan agama Islam. Pemimpin pendidikan memiliki peranan krusial dalam menentukan arah dan kualitas pendidikan yang diberikan, terutama dalam konteks lembaga pendidikan agama Islam yang mengedepankan nilai-nilai spiritual dan moral. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, yang melibatkan studi literatur untuk mengumpulkan data dari berbagai sumber, termasuk jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan artikel terkait kepemimpinan pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fungsi pemimpin dalam pendidikan agama Islam meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Pemimpin harus mampu merumuskan visi dan misi lembaga yang sejalan dengan nilai-nilai agama, serta memotivasi dan memberdayakan tenaga pendidik untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut. Selain itu, pemimpin juga berperan dalam menciptakan iklim belajar yang kondusif, serta menjalin kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak, termasuk orang tua dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan yang efektif dalam pendidikan agama Islam tidak hanya ditentukan oleh kemampuan manajerial, tetapi juga oleh integritas moral dan spiritual pemimpin. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan kompetensi kepemimpinan harus menjadi perhatian utama dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan agama Islam di lembaga pendidikan.

Abstract

The simultaneous use of multiple internal validation metrics to determine the optimal number of clusters in K-Means Clustering often results in differing K values, which can confuse data practitioners when extracting insights, such as identifying customer characteristics. This study aims to develop an evaluation framework to address the ambiguity arising from varying K values produced by different internal validation metrics. The proposed K evaluation framework consists of two stages. In the first stage, five internal validation metrics—Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI), Silhouette Score, Elbow Method, Dunn Index, and Calinski-Harabasz Index—are used as filters to generate up to five top K candidates. The second stage involves boxplot analysis, interquartile range (IQR), and elbow visualization to explore the cohesiveness and stability of the resulting clusters. The first-stage evaluation yielded four potential cluster counts: K = 2, 5, 7, and 10. In the second stage, based on the elbow graph of the average interquartile range, K = 5 was identified as the most optimal number of clusters compared to the other candidates. These results indicate that using a larger number of internal validation metrics may increase the likelihood of producing multiple K values. However, a higher number of clusters does not necessarily guarantee better quality. The implications of this research highlight the importance of a layered evaluation approach in determining the optimal number of clusters, especially when employing multiple internal validation metrics. The proposed framework can assist data practitioners in making more informed decisions and reducing ambiguity in the clustering process. In the future, this framework can be extended by incorporating external validation metrics or adapted to other clustering algorithms.

Abstract

The development of the digital era has led to a paradigm shift in education, transitioning from traditional methods to more modern approaches. This shift directly impacts the quality of education in Indonesia, aiming to produce superior human resources with strong character and a clear future vision. This study examines the effectiveness of using Nearpod as a learning medium in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) subject at SMPN 26 Makassar. A quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design was used, involving 30 students tested before and after the intervention using Nearpod. The results showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, with the pretest average score being 67.9 and the posttest average score being 86. The t-test revealed a t-value of 6.411, which was higher than the critical t-value of 1.699, indicating the rejection of the null hypothesis and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis. This finding demonstrates that using Nearpod effectively improves student learning outcomes in the ICT subject. This research contributes to the development of more engaging, interactive, and digitally-based learning strategies, aligning with the needs of today's digital generation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Smart Apps Creator on the interest in learning science of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 33 Makassar. This research is a type of quantitative research with a pre-experimental approach, and a one-shot case study research design. The subject of the study is 73 students in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 33 Makassar for the 2024/2025 academic year. The data collection technique used observation and questionnaires. The data analysis used is descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that as many as 50.68% of students were in the criteria of interest, with the percentage in each indicator, namely 84.16% of students showing feelings of pleasure, 82.41% showing activeness in learning, 83.18% showing interest in learning, and 78.90% showing involvement in learning. The results of the hypothesis test showed that the t-calculated value of the t-table >, which was 3.009 > 1.994 so that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. Based on the findings of these results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of Smart Apps Creator on the interest in learning science of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 33 Makassar.

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah pengaruh penggunaan media Augmented Reality (AR) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas X di SMA Muhammadiyah Lempangang, Kecamatan Bajeng, Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah penggunaan media AR berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen (pre-eksperiment), model one group pretest-posttest. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial dengan bantuan SPSS versi 26. Subjek penelitian adalah 15 siswa kelas X. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa data pretest dan posttest memenuhi uji normalitas, dengan nilai signifikansi (p) ≥ 0,05. Ini menunjukkan bahwa data terdistribusi normal dan memenuhi syarat untuk uji hipotesis. Hasil uji menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan media AR. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000 < 0,05, yang berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media AR memberikan pengaruh positif dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, serta mendorong keaktifan mereka dalam proses pembelajaran.
