Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran berupa Lembar Kegiatan Mahasiswa (LKM) berbasis Media Cetak Gambar Proses (MC-GP) menggunakan Computer And Thecnology (CAT) pada matakuliah Fisika Dasar materi kinematika gerak lurus yang layak digunakan untuk melatihkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa semester 1 prodi Teknik Industri dan Teknik Elektro Universitas Panca Marga (UPM) Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Kemampuan berpikir kritis yang diukur menyesuaikan dengan indikator berpikir kritis yang disingkat dengan FRISCO. Model pengembangan yang digunakan merujuk pada model pengembangan 4-D dengan tahapan Definition, Design, Development, dan Dissemination. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu One group pretest-postest design. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan instrumen penelitian yang meliputi instrumen validasi LKM dari ahli media, instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir kritis (TKBK) berupa tes, dan instrumen respon mahasiswa berupa angket. Hasil penelitian yang dihasilkan menunjukkan bahwa hasil validasi LKM MC-GP dan TKBK berkategori valid. Hasil TKBK mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan dengan skor rata-rata peningkatannya 0,73 (gain tinggi). Respon mahasiswa terhadap penggunakan LKM MC-GP berkategori sangat kuat.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Android-based Al-Qur'an integrated physics learning media to improve preservice physics teachers' higher-order thinking skills and spiritual attitudes. The development of learning media uses the ADDIE model. Media and material experts assessed the feasibility of learning media through a validation questionnaire. The trial was carried out on 40 preservice physics teacher students. The validation results were analyzed using a descriptive technique. The analysis results show that the learning media developed is suitable for improving Higher Order Thinking Skills and the Spiritual Attitude of Preservice Physics Teachers. So, the Android-based physics learning media integrated with the Quran can be implemented for preservice physics teachers.

Abstract

Abstract:  The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the GI-GI learning model on the critical thinking skills of students at SMP Negeri 12 Jember. The implementation of this research was due to the rapid development in the education sector so that students needed 21st century skills. One of the skills that was needed especially for students of SMP Negeri 12 Jember was critical thinking skills because students were less active in learning activities. In addition to the importance of skills for students, learning materials must also be mastered, especially science subjects, the subject of energy in living systems which is considered to need to be studied optimally because it is considered quite difficult to understand. The type of research used is an experiment with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample uses two classes, namely class VIIA as the control class and VIIE as the experimental class. The data obtained from the independent sample t-test showed that the sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000, so there is an influence of the GI-GI learning model on students' critical thinking skills.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran GI-GI terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMP Negeri 12 Jember. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini disebabkan karena seiring pesatnya perkembangan pada sektor pendidikan sehingga siswa memerlukan keterampilan abad 21. Salah satu keterampilan yang sangat dibutuhkan terutama siswa SMP Negeri 12 Jember adalah keterampilan berpikir kritis karena siswa kurang aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Selain pentingnya keterampilan bagi siswa, materi pembelajaran juga harus dikuasai terutama mata pelajaran IPA materi energi dalam sistem kehidupan yang dianggap perlu dipelajari secara optimal karena cukup sulit dipahami. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Sampel menggunakan dua kelas yaitu kelas VIIA sebagai kelas kontrol dan VIIE sebagai kelas eksperimen. Data yang diperoleh pada uji independent sample t-test bahwa nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 maka ada pengaruh model pembelajaran GI-GI berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah (MBS) berfokus pada sistem pembelajaran, sistem administrasi, dan hubungan dengan masyarakat di SMP Achmad Jani.Kegiatan pengabdian dalam program Desa Binaan bertujuan untuk peningkatan kualitas layanan pendidikan merdeka belajar melalui MBS. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan hari rabu pada tanggal 17 Mei 2023 yang diikuti oleh 25 Guru. Tahapan pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan edukatif yang dapat mendorong Guru untuk semangat dalam belajar meliputi: pembentukan tim, perumusan tujuan, identifikasi stakesholder, analisis kebutuhan, prioritas masalah, persiapan pengabdian, implementasi kegiatan, dan pelatihan. Implementasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan pemaparan materi meliputi: langkah-langkah menganalisis karakteristik Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar, langkah-langkah RIPS dan Penyusunan RAPBS, menyusun profil sekolah. Peserta dilatih menyusun Silabus, RPP, instrumen evaluasi yang mengarah pada pendekatan student center learning dan high order thinking; RIPS dan RAPBS sesuai dengan kondisi SMP Achmad Jani; dan website dan media sosial berupa facebook. Peserta pelatihan memberikan respon meliputi: 69% memberikan respon sangat positif dan 31% memberikan respon positif terhadap kegiatan pelatihan MBS. MBS yang baik akan mendorong kelengkapan dokumen akreditasi sekolah untuk pencapaian hasil yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Scientific creativity is an important competency in 21st-century science education. However, many students still show limited ability to generate original and flexible scientific ideas. This study aims to develop an environment-based augmented reality (AR) learning media and to test its validity, practicality, and effectiveness in enhancing students' scientific creativity. A research and development design using the ADDIE model was used. Participants were junior high school students who used the developed Augmented Reality media during science learning. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, observation sheets, scientific creativity tests, and student response questionnaires. The results showed that the media achieved a high level of validity (90%), was very practical to implement (94%), and demonstrated moderate effectiveness in enhancing scientific creativity (N-gain = 0.68). This research contributes to the field by providing a specialized pedagogical framework that bridges abstract environmental concepts with interactive digital visualization, offering a scalable solution to stimulate divergent thinking in science classrooms. Furthermore, this study supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals Goal 3 Good Health and Well-being and Goal 4 Quality Education by enhancing students’ higher-order thinking skills through innovative technology-based learning. These findings indicate that environment-based Augmented Reality is effective in improving students’ scientific creativity and supporting sustainable development.

Abstract

Tempurejo Village in Jember Regency boasts abundant banana potential, considered one of the village's leading products. However, its utilization remains suboptimal. This community service research aims to empower women in Tempurejo Village, Jember, who are predominantly housewives, to increase family income through the diversification of processed banana products. Tempurejo Village has significant potential as a center for banana production and collection, but local processed banana products are still traditional, lack branding, and face limited marketing knowledge. Using a Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach, the activities were carried out through stages of team formation, objective formulation, stakeholder identification, needs analysis, problem prioritization, preparation, material implementation, and practical training. A total of 30 housewives were trained to produce economically valuable banana processed products such as crispy banana nuggets, molten bananas (pisang lumer), and banana toast (pisang roti tawar). Furthermore, the training also covered packaging skills, the creation of the "Pisang Juara Tempurejo" brand, and offline marketing strategies (booth design) as well as online marketing through social media (Facebook, WhatsApp Business, Instagram). Targeted outputs include increased participation and skills of the housewives, three production guide modules, one branding logo, and one booth design along with social media accounts. This program is expected to improve the economic well-being of village women, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to women's empowerment and food security
