Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic situation on the development of elementary school-age children at SD Negeri 26 Pagar Alam City. The research design used is a qualitative research with a descriptive phenomenological approach, 15 informants were taken by Stratified Random Sampling based on inclusion criteria. The instrument used is an in-depth interview guide related to the aspects studied. The results of the study obtained 3 themes, 1) Aspects of Cognitive/Language Development of Children, 2) Aspects of Children's Motor Development, 3) Aspects of Children's Socio-Emotional Development. In conclusion, the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Child Development has a bad impact because online learning creates a lack of stimulation that can improve children's language, motor and socio-emotional development. Abstract

This research aims to determine whether the combination of nebulizer therapy and guided imagery affects respiratory frequency in patients with asthmatic status. The research design used in this study was Queasy Experimental in one intervention group. The results of the study showed that p-value = 0.02, with 0.02 < 0.05 meaning that there was an effect of the combination of nebulizer therapy and guided imagery on reducing the respiratory frequency in patients with asthmatic status in the emergency room at M. Yunus Hospital, Bengkulu City. In conclusion, a combination of nebulizer therapy and guided imagery reduces respiratory frequency in patients with asthmatic status in the emergency room at M. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of parental holding on children's distress during the intravenous (IV) insertion procedure in the pediatric inpatient room of Dr. M. Yunus Hospital, Bengkulu. The research method used was quantitative, with a quasi-experimental approach using the One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The results showed that there was a significant effect of parental holding before and after on children's distress during the intravenous (IV) insertion procedure in the pediatric inpatient room of Dr. M. Yunus Hospital, Bengkulu with a diastolic p-value of 0.000 (p <0.05). In conclusion, there is an effect of parental holding on children's distress during the intravenous (IV) insertion procedure in the pediatric inpatient room of Dr. M. Yunus Hospital, Bengkulu. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using swaddling and skin wrap in regulating the body temperature of premature babies in the NICU room of RSHD Kota Bengkulu. The research method used is quasi-experimental with the design of this study using two group pretest posttest. The results showed that the average body temperature of premature babies in the NICU room of RSHD Kota Bengkulu before using swaddling was 35.890C. After using swaddling the average body temperature of premature babies increased to 37.04oC. The average body temperature of premature babies before using skin wrap was 35.930C and after using skin wrap the average body temperature of premature babies increased to 37.180C. The results of the analysis using paired sample t-test obtained a p-value of 0.000 <0.05. In conclusion, the use of swaddling and skin wrap is effective in regulating the body temperature of premature babies in the NICU room of RSHD Kota Bengkulu. Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of mothers' knowledge and education regarding immunization. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research design using descriptive methods. The results of the study showed that mothers' knowledge about immunization was the highest at 69 (67.0%). The majority of mothers' education was 72 respondents (69.9%). Abstract

Sleep health is an important concern in the aging population due to the common insomnia problem that older adults often face. This community service program aims to provide health education regarding insomnia to the elderly in the community. Through a series of seminars and workshops, participants will be provided with information about the causes, symptoms, and impacts of insomnia. In addition, the program will also offer practical insomnia management strategies and techniques, including implementing healthy sleep patterns, stress management, and the use of non-pharmacological therapies. The methods used include interactive presentations, group discussions, and relaxation exercises. It is hoped that through this program, seniors can increase their knowledge about insomnia and be able to implement steps to manage and reduce insomnia symptoms, thereby improving their sleep quality and overall quality of life.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of diabetes self-management education (DSME) on the quality of life of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.This study used pre experimental design with one group pre and posttest with 15 respondents. The result analysis there were mostly 8 (53,3%) who were 56-70 years old, most of them were 14 (93,3%) female, mostly 8 (53,3%) Who had junior high school education, most of whom were 9 (60.0%) who 1-5 years suffering from diabetes, before DSME did the lowest quality of life score was 86 and the highest was 99, the average was 90.93, People after the DSME lowest life quality score was 88 and the highest was 105, the average was 98.67. The average quality of life after treatment has increased with the difference in the mean score of quality of life by using DSME (p = 0,000) in Bengkulu City Pasar Ikan Puskesmas Working Area. In Conclusion, There is an influence of Diabetes Self Management Education (DSME) on the quality of life of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients in the work area of ​​the Pasar Ikan Health Center, Bengkulu City.   Keywords: Self Management Education (DSME), Quality of Life

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of celery on reducing hypertension in patients at the Kandang Community Health Center in Bengkulu City. This quantitative study employed a quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test design. The statistical analysis of celery leaf decoction showed a p-value ≤ 0.005, thus Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. In conclusion, there was an effect on hypertension after administering celery leaf decoction to hypertensive patients at the Kandang Community Health Center in Bengkulu City.   Keywords: Hypertension, Celery, Blood Pressure

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship between health information obtained through electronic media and personal hygiene of external reproductive organs in adolescent girls at SMK S 16 Pharmacy Bengkulu. The research method used was an observational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The results showed that most respondents had limited access to health information through electronic media and demonstrated poor personal hygiene practices of external reproductive organs. Bivariate analysis revealed a significant relationship between health information obtained through electronic media and personal hygiene of external reproductive organs. Adolescent girls who received inadequate health information through electronic media were more likely to have poor personal hygiene practices compared to those who received adequate information. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between health information obtained through electronic media and personal hygiene of external reproductive organs in adolescent girls. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pengetahuan dan peran orang tua terhadap perilaku seksual remaja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa semester II Program Studi Kesehatan Fakultas Kesehan Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu dengan sampel berjumlah sebanyak 96 responden yang diambil secara total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reabilitas, untuk kemudian data dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar remaja memiliki pengetahuan yang kurang terkait perilaku seksual (62,5%) dengan peran orang tua dalam perkembangan remaja yang masih kurang (67,7%) serta terdapat sebanyak 82,3% remaja telah melakukan perilaku seksual. Analisis lebih lanjut menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan (p-value 0,629) terhadap perilaku seksual remaja, namun terdapat hubungan antara peran orang tua (p-value 0,022) terhadap perilaku seksual. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa orang tua memiliki peran penting dalam mencegah perilaku seksual yang tidak sehat atau berisiko pada remaja. Dukungan positif dan pendidikan seks yang benar dari orang tua dapat membantu remaja memperoleh pengetahuan yang akurat tentang kesehatan seksual, mengembangkan sikap yang positif dan mencegah perilaku seksual yang tidak sesuai. Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan, Peran Orang Tua, Perilaku Seksual Remaja
