Abstract

This study aimed to compare blowing bubbles blades to the respiratory frequency of children with asthma in the Edelweiss Room, DR. M. Yunus Bengkulu Year 2019. The research design used was quasi-experimental research. The univariate analysis results showed that the average respiratory rate before and after super bubble blow therapy was moderate (26.91). Before and after blowing the propeller, the intermediate respiratory frequency was medium (26.69) and light (24.81). The bivariate analysis results showed an effect of blowing bubbles on respiratory frequency in children with a value of p = 0.000. In conclusion, there is no difference in superbubbles blowing therapy's effectiveness by blowing bamboo propellers in children with asthma. Keywords: Respiratory Frequency, Blow Super Bubbles

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of snake and ladder educational game therapy (APE) on reducing anxiety in hospitalized children. This study uses an experimental method with a one-group pre-post test design. The number of samples used in this study was 15 samples with an incidental sampling technique. The results showed that the average level of anxiety before playing snake and ladder therapy in treated children was 19.13 with the moderate anxiety category. The anxiety story after snake therapy in treated children was 14.20 with mild class. In conclusion, playing snake and ladder therapy reduces anxiety in hospitalized children. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of slow deep breathing exercises on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the Telaga Dewa Health Center work area, Bengkulu City. The research method used in this research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research design. The results of univariate analysis obtained that the average respondent was 64 years old, with the majority gender being female, namely seven respondents (53.3%). Most respondents have a family history of hypertension, as many as 12 (80%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed that the p-value <0.05. In conclusion, there is a decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure before and after slow deep breathing intervention in hypertension sufferers in the Telaga Dewa Health Center Work Area, Bengkulu City. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parental support and school children's smoking behavior. This research method uses descriptive correlational research with a cross-sectional approach. The study's results based on class and age showed that 22 students, with a percentage of 73.3%, had supportive parental social support, and 16 students, with a rate of 53.3%, had terrible smoking behavior. The P value of parents' social support with smoking behavior is 0.207. In conclusion, it shows no relationship between parental consent and school children's smoking behavior. Abstract

This study aims to explore the experiences of mothers in caring for premature babies who have been treated in the intensive care unit. This type of research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The results showed that the knowledge of mothers about premature babies was on average the same, from definition to treatment, support received, and coping mechanisms. In conclusion, the results of interviews with informants obtained 6 (six) themes, namely the description of premature babies and their characteristics, causes of premature birth, the ability of mothers to care for premature babies, forms of maternal support, mother's self-coping while caring for premature babies and mother's reactions while caring for premature babies. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Buzz Group Method affects students' knowledge in learning Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Skills in Infants. This type of research is pre-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research results obtained a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, and the results of the correlation test obtained r = 0.524 with a p-value of 0.003 < alpha (0.05) and had a positive pattern. In conclusion, the Buzz Group method influences the level of cardiopulmonary resuscitation knowledge of nursing students at Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu, and there is a relationship between the level of expertise and students' cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between peers and access to pornographic media on adolescent sexual behavior at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu. The research method used is analytical survey research with a cross-sectional approach. The results of the study show that univariate analysis calculations can explain that the actions of respondents' peers have little influence on the sexual behavior of adolescent respondents (52.1%), the majority (37.5%) of respondents rarely access pornographic media, and as many as 82.3% of respondents never carry out this behavior. In conclusion, there is no relationship between peers and access to pornographic media on adolescent sexual behavior. Keywords: Pornographic Media, Sexual Behavior, Teenagers, Peers

Abstract

This study aims to determine the experience of asthma sufferers in managing status asthmaticus. This research design uses a qualitative phenomenological study approach. The results of this research obtained 3 (three) aspects, namely the knowledge aspect of participants knowing that asthma is characterized by shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing and difficulty breathing, which is caused by allergies and hereditary factors. In the psychological aspect, the impact of the attack was felt by participants as anxious, silent, pain in the lungs and shortness of breath. In the aspect of home management during a recurrence, namely taking medication, spraying an inhaler, if it doesn't resolve, take him to the hospital. In conclusion, the experience of asthma sufferers in managing asthma in the knowledge aspect is good status, the psychological aspect of the impact of attacks is felt by anxiety and in the management aspect they have taken initial action during a relapse. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pengetahuan dan peran orang tua terhadap perilaku seksual remaja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa semester II Program Studi Kesehatan Fakultas Kesehan Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu dengan sampel berjumlah sebanyak 96 responden yang diambil secara total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reabilitas, untuk kemudian data dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar remaja memiliki pengetahuan yang kurang terkait perilaku seksual (62,5%) dengan peran orang tua dalam perkembangan remaja yang masih kurang (67,7%) serta terdapat sebanyak 82,3% remaja telah melakukan perilaku seksual. Analisis lebih lanjut menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan (p-value 0,629) terhadap perilaku seksual remaja, namun terdapat hubungan antara peran orang tua (p-value 0,022) terhadap perilaku seksual. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa orang tua memiliki peran penting dalam mencegah perilaku seksual yang tidak sehat atau berisiko pada remaja. Dukungan positif dan pendidikan seks yang benar dari orang tua dapat membantu remaja memperoleh pengetahuan yang akurat tentang kesehatan seksual, mengembangkan sikap yang positif dan mencegah perilaku seksual yang tidak sesuai. Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of parental anxiety when children interact socially during the Covid-19 pandemic in the work area of the Beringin Raya Public Health Center, Bengkulu City. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The results showed that the description of the level of anxiety of parents when their children interacted socially during the COVID-19 pandemic from 45 respondents, the category of not being anxious was five respondents (11.1%), mild anxiety was 37 respondents (82.2%), and moderate anxiety was three respondents. (6.7%). In conclusion, the description of the level of anxiety of parents when children interact socially during the COVID-19 pandemic in the work area of the Beringin Raya Public Health Center in Bengkulu City is mainly classified as mild anxiety.
