Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see a picture of people living with religious HIV / AIDS. The method in this research is using descriptive analysis. From a total of 69, the results of the study obtained moderate religious data on people living with HIV / AIDS of 42 respondents (60.9%). In conclusion, the need for support and guidance for HIV / AIDS in increasing adaptive coping can manage the disease it is experiencing. Keywords: HIV / AIDS, Religious Coping

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between stress levels and the online learning system for the Muhammadiyah Bengkulu University Nursing Study Program students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method was analyzed univariately by looking at the frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using the Kendal tau-b correlation test. The results showed a correlation between stress levels and the online learning system of 0.648 with a strong relationship and the direction of the positive correlation and the value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.005. In conclusion, there is a relationship between stress levels and online learning systems for the Bengkulu Muhammadiyah University Nursing Science Study Program students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Abstract

Thalassemia is a hereditary disease caused by the failure of the formation of one of the four amino acid chains that make up hemoglobin, so that hemoglobin is not formed completely. The purpose of this study was to explore in depth the experiences of parents in caring for children with thalassemia at Dr. Hospital. M. Yunus Bengkulu City, where researchers collected data and information through observation and interviews with informants. This research is qualitative research with a phenomenological research method. Informants in this study involved 3 parents who were obtained by purposive sampling technique. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews. The results of this study found the themes of parents' experiences in caring for thalassemia major children, namely aspects of knowledge, aspects of handling, physical and mental aspects, and aspects of hope. The responses of parents during their time as respondents in the study were shown by experience in treating children with thalassemia, knowledge problems, handling problems, physical and mental problems, and hope problems.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of providing education using video media and booklets on the motivation and attitudes of parents in caring for toddlers with gastroenteritis. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a non-pretest-posttest design. The study's results found a difference in the average score of parents' motivation and attitudes in caring for toddlers with gastroenteritis before and after providing education. In the video media group ρ motivational value (0.01) and perspective (0.00), in the booklet media group with ρ motivational value (0.02) and attitude (0.00), and the video media and booklet combination group with ρ motivational value (0.00) and perspective (0.00). In conclusion, there is a significant effect of the use of educational media on increasing the average score of parents' motivation and attitudes in caring for toddlers with gastroenteritis. The combination of education using video media and booklets gave more effective results than other educational groups. Keywords: Booklet, Video Media, Motivation, Health Education, Attitude

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the FTS intervention affects the baby's pain response when DPT immunization is given at the Community Health Center. This type of research is pre-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The results of the study showed that the frequency of responses to pain in babies before treatment was the highest, namely seven babies with a pain scale of 3, a percentage of 46.7% in the moderate pain category, the frequency of responses to pain in babies after treatment was the highest, six babies with a pain scale of 2, percentage 40% with the mild category. At the same time, the results of the bivariate analysis show that the p-value is 0.000 < 0. In conclusion, family triple support intervention has a significant effect on the baby's pain response when DPT immunization is given at the Community Health Center. Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of modified nebulizer therapy and guided imagery on respiratory frequency in patients with status asthmaticus. The research design used in this study was quite experimental in one intervention group. The study population was patients with status asthmaticus who were experiencing attacks of status asthmaticus. The population size in this study was 40 respondents. The research sample of 40 people was selected using total sampling. The independent variable in this study was a combination of nebulizer therapy and Guided Imagery, while the dependent variable was a decrease in respiratory frequency in patients with status asthmaticus. The results of the study showed that p-value = 0.02, with 0.02 < 0.05 meaning that there was an effect of the combination of nebulizer therapy and guided imagery on reducing respiratory frequency in patients with asthmatic status in the emergency room at M. Yunus Hospital, Bengkulu City. In conclusion, a combination of nebulizer therapy and guided imagery reduces respiratory frequency in patients with asthmatic status in the emergency room at M. Abstract

This study aims to identify the effect of isometric handgrip exercise on changes in blood pressure in people with hypertension. Quasi experimental research design with two group pretest postest research design on 16 respondents. The results showed that there were changes in systolic and diastolic blood pressure after the isometric handgrip exercise intervention (t = 8,279, p = 0,000), (t = 6,154, p = 0,000). In conclusion, there was a difference between the decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the isometric handgrip exercise intervention group. Abstract

This study aims to explore the psychological experiences of single parents with confirmed COVID-19. The design of this study is a phenomenological approach because what is being studied is experience. The participants involved were single parents with confirmed COVID-19, with the instrument used as an in-depth interview guide related to their psychological experiences with confirmed COVID-19. The results of this study obtained five themes, namely the transmission of covid-19 occurs due to infection from friends in the work environment and after traveling, feelings when confirmed with covid-19, single parents experience shortness of breath, anxiety, worry, fear, shaking, insomnia, headaches, and anxiety. Was. In self-care, single parents ask to be cared for independently at home by taking medicines, vitamins, herbs to maintain progress and experience changes in excessive eating patterns. This he also applies to his children so that children stay healthy. The conclusion is that single parents experience psychological problems, namely anxiety, with a moderate level when confirmed positive for COVID-19. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between religious practices of people living with HIV/AIDS. The design in this study is a descriptive-analytic study. The survey results from 153 respondents that most of the religious practices of Islam in the HIV/AIDS group were moderate 105 (68.6%). In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between the level of spiritual practice of people living with HIV/AIDS. Keywords: HIV/AIDS, Religious Practice

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of counseling on adolescent knowledge about Youth Care Health Services (PKPR) at the Bintang Terampil Orphanage, Bengkulu City. This type of research is quantitative research conducted at the Bintang Terampil Orphanage, Bengkulu City. The population observed was all 30 adolescents in the Bintang Skilled Orphanage, Bengkulu City, with a total sampling technique of selecting samples. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires containing questions to adolescents about PKPR twice to determine their pretest and posttest knowledge about PKPR. Information was obtained in the univariate and bivariate test analysis. The results showed that the average knowledge score before counseling was 8.57, and after counseling was 12.13. Adolescents' knowledge about PKPR before and after counseling was a mean value of 3.567, a standard deviation of 2.208, with a p-value of 0.005. In conclusion, there are differences in adolescent knowledge about PKPR before and after counseling. Keywords: Adolescent Knowledge, Counseling, PKPR
