Abstract

This research aims to explain the concerns of India rejecting the cooperation of One Belt One Road (OBOR) of China. OBOR is China's foreign policy as a new silk route which was declared by President Xi Jinping in 2013. The Author  uses  the perspective of  neo-mercantilism,  foreign policy theory, and  the analysis system is the nation state. This research uses an explanatory qualitative, the data collection techniques by library research are derived from literature such as books, journals, thesis, official documents and visits to internet sites. The result of this research indicate that India rejected the OBOR cooperation because of external factors and internal factors. Internal factors include economic interests and political interests. India rejects OBOR cooperation in three international forums. First, India refused to attend and boycott 1st Belt and Road Forum (BRF) on May 14, 2017. Second, India refused to support OBOR at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit on June 10, 2018. Third, India did not attend 2nd Belt and Road Forum on April 25-27 2019. Keywords: OBOR,  Foreign Policy, National Interests, Neo-mercantilism

Abstract

The title of this research is the The Role Of ASEAN Tourism Forum in Increasing Foreign Tourist Arrival in Indonesia 2009-2013. The method used was qualitative descriptive-analytic explanatif.The results of this research show that ASEAN Tourism Forum plays an important role in increasing foreign tourist arrivals in Indonesia. ASEAN Tourism Forum is a cooperation forum of tourism in the region of Southeast Asia pliers have a role increases the potential for tourism in Southeast Asia. ASEAN Tourism Forum also act as promoters, tourism investment forums, and policy makers in asean tourism standardization.The influence of the ASEAN Tourism Forum is evident from the development of the tourism industry in each country of Southeast Asia including Indonesia, since joining the tourism cooperation largest in Southeast Asia, Indonesia experienced a growth in tourism is very good, it is not free from the influence of the ASEAN Tourism Forum which includes there are M-ATM agenda that is where the ministers of tourism in the ASEAN region to exchange ideas to boost the tourism industry.Keyword : ASEAN, ATF, Tourism , Indonesia

Abstract

Indonesia Eximbank join a partnership with ICBC Limited Tiongkok in 2015. The agreement between Indonesia Eximbank and ICBC Limited Tiongkok resulted in a loan of USD 500 Million and within a period of 5 years. The Indonesia government accepts it as financial capital for Indonesia Eximbank. Whereas, during 2015 Indonesia Eximbank showed good performance and gave recipients of PMN from the Indonesian government of 1 Trillion. This research describedabout Indonesia Eximbank received loans from ICBC Tiongkok.The qualitative research is Library research using data from books, journals, newspaper and using websites such as www.IndonesiaEximbank.go.id and www.icbc-ltd.com to describe Indonesia Eximbank partnership with ICBC Tiongkok. Nation-state level analysis with Liberalism perspectives about foreign loan theory was used to elaborate Indonesia Eximbank and ICBC Limited.The result showed that Indonesia Eximbank accept loan of USD 500 Million from ICBC Tiongkok in 2015 to strengthen if Indonesia Eximbank’s capital. Government programe of National Interest Area (NIA). Abstract

This study explains the motivation of Indonesia to collaborate with Australia in the field of digital economy. Increasing technological advances have changed human behavior in carrying out transactions both trade and financially. Indonesia's geographical conditions pose challenges in financial inclusion, Indonesia needs to learn a lot from Australia which has a more advanced financial technology infrastructure and a well regulated financial sector by the state.This study uses the perspective of liberalism in international relations and is supported by foreign policy theory, this study uses the concept of international cooperation. This research is qualitative research with descriptive analysis method. The scope of research is financial technology cooperation in the field of digital payments.The researcher made an answer stating that Indonesia's motivation to cooperate with Australia in the field of digital economy was because of the transfer of knowledge about financial technology which would have an impact on increasing the efficiency of payment instruments in electronic transactions.Keywords : Indonesia, Australia, Digital Economy, Financial Technology, Efficiency, E-commerce.

Abstract

This research is a political economy study which describes the interests of India in form the Asia Africa Growth Corridor (AAGC). This research will focus on why India form the AAGC, which explained by the factors that drive India to form the AAGC, which is more focused on the African region.This research is qualitative research which used descriptive methods, and collecting datas from some resources like books journals, official publications and relevantwebsites. In this study the author uses Liberalism Perspective and Regional Interest Theory. The object in this research is India an main actor.The result of this research describe the reason India formed AAGC. Factors affecting India to establish AAGC are for India's energy security, Africa's potential for growth is an opportunity for India to increasing cooperation in the health and agriculture sector with Africa, and East African interests as a maritime strategic area for India. Keywords: AAGC (Asia Africa Growth Corridor), Regional Interest Theory, Energy Security, Health and Agriculture Development.

Abstract

This research is a contemporary study which explain the efforts from a non-governmental international organization that operates as a charity foundation called Comic Relie f to improving healthiness in Ghana at 2013. Comic Relief was established initially in Britain in 1988 by the English-born New Zealand scriptwriter Richard Curtis and Alexander Mendis in response to the famine in Ethiopia. After that, Comic Relief becomes a charity that stands with a vision of the world to be just, free from poverty and with a mission to encourage positive change through the power of entertainment.This is qualitative research which used descriptive methods, and collecting datas from some resources like books,journals, official publications and relevant websites. This paper used the pluralism perspective and International Organizations written by Clive Archer. The object in this research is Comic Relief as an main actor in International Relations.The result of this research shows that Comic Relief creates some programs and efforts that involving several parties such as international organizations, corporations, UK Government, medias, and public figures in social aspect. The programs and efforts such as making television programs, visiting marginalized country to get to know how to help them and donate the funds to the British and African countries.Key words : Comic Relief, Red Nose Day, Sport Relief

Abstract

This research is a study of contemporary which discussing about the role of the United Nations Office On Drugs And Crime (UNODC) in Preventing Bride Trafficking in India. Bride Trafficking is not a new phenomenon in India. This practice is known as the Bride Buying in past time. Bride Trafficking is one form of human trafficking that make women and girls (brides) as victims on behalf of marriage and sold from one person to another only as sex objects. Victims generally come from poor families and vulnerable to rape, abuse, social discrimination, physical and psychological violence. Bride Trafficking occurs between regions in India but several victims also come from other countries such as Bangladesh.In this research, the author uses the group behavior analysis level which focused on the role of international organization. This research uses a pluralist perspective in international relations and organizational theory of Clive Archer. UNODC's role in preventing Bride Trafficking in India by 3P program (Prevention, Protection and Prosecution).In effort to prevent Bride Trafficking in India, UNODC faced some obstacles. The lack of public knowledge about the dangers of Bride Trafficking, lack of resource capacity in India and lack of monitoring and evaluation of the Indian government so that the victims of Bride Trafficking increased from year to year.Keywords: Bride Trafficking, Human Trafficking, the United Nations Office On Drugs And Crime (UNODC), Prevention, Protection, Prosecution.

Abstract

This research describes the interest of Norway supporting the Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation (REDD) program in the Peruvian Amazon in 2014. Norway supports this program through a Letter of Intent (LOI) in cooperation to reduce emissions from deforestation and degradation in Peruvian Amazon and environmentally sustainable development in Peru. Norway supports this program with gradually funding system until 2020 . The method that is used in this research is qualitative research. Some of the datas are obtained from books, journals, articles, internet and other media. This research focuses describes the interest of Norway supporting the REDD program in the Peruvian Amazon. Using constructivist perspective, foreign policy by Graham T. Allison and national interest concept by Donald E. Nuchterlain, this research will find out the interest of Norway supporting the REDD program in the Peruvian Amazon. The impact of climate change are already being felt in Norway. Norway ratified the Kyoto Protocol and REDD be an alternative solution of the obligation to reduce emissions without sacrificing the domestic industry. Since become a world leader in climate change issues, Norway has a good image of the climate change issues. This good image can be used by Norway to sell environmental technologies to the consumptive country. And last, Norwegian financial assistance to Peru can strengthen the bilateral cooperation, especially in the economic field. Keywords: REDD, Peruvian Amazon, Interest.

Abstract

This paper is a Bilateral Trade study that provides an analysis of the Cooperation of two countries in the fulfillment of needs and achieve their nasal interests. This research is focused on Indonesia Crude Palm Oil (CPO) Exports to Italy from 2011-2015. Crude Palm Oil is the result of processed pulp of palm fruits as vegetable oil which is needed as industrial material and household consumption. Where Indonesia as the world's largest producer of palm oil contributes 51% to the world's palm oil demand and engages in exports to various countries including Italy. This paper used the liberalism perspective written by Adam Smith. Formulation of all arguments, facts, and theoretical framework on this research is guided by qualitative explanation methods. Technique in this research is through by the study of library. Data is gotten and collected from the journal books, the last thesis and then from internet has related to the problems. This research showed that Indonesia and Italy has good relations in all things especially in the trade sector. The purpose of Indonesia in cooperation with Italy is to promote the product of palm indonesia to Italy. Indonesia always faces the increasing of CPO exports to Italy every year, and Italy’s dependence to Indonesia’s CPO for the biofuel and food industries.Keyword: Internasional Corporation, Liberalism Perspective, National Interest, Export Crude Palm Oil

This observation explain about effort from gapkindo for increased natural rubber exportthe proction by participants in Indonesia to be able to meet internasional rubber marketneeds.indonesia know as the country who has the big mainland so that in Indonesia mayority ofIndonesia can survive by farming the extent of plantation be a solution for survive one of withfarming .the rubber plant until this time needs it very important rule for daily needs.the kinds ofnatural rubber in Indonesia very diverse and found in Indonesia.the result to the less ofeducation in Indonesia is a one the main factor Indonesia can’t manage a raw materials to be afinishing goods.This observation use theory of internasioanal cooperation.the type of cooperation that isused is cooperation commodity.cooperation commodity do by third asean countries that isThailand, Malaysia and Indonesia . this observation use an analysis, the countries use thequalitative research methods with library.the data source from books, journal and internet.And the last,gapkindo role to productivity of rubber existing in Indonesia give aprotection to participants who production natural source in Indonesia such as community theprivate sector and goverment maximum considered.the effort have been do is condust policy toall participants belong as a production of natural rubber, give a solution in order for rubberplant can produce good rubber latex.that effort can help all participants who the producenatural source existing in Indonesia.Keywords: Natural Rubber, Cooperation Commodity, Rubber Association of Indonesia.
