Abstract

Penerapan TPACK pada pembelajaran Anak Usia Dini (AUD) semakin relevan di masa digital 4.0, salah satunya melalui penggunaan Augmented Reality (AR) flashcard. Guru-guru di TK LKMD Marsudisiwi dan TK Merpati Pos Surakarta belum memanfaatkan media ini dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris, sehingga penguasaan kosakata anak masih rendah. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan guru dalam mengajarkan bahasa Inggris kepada AUD dengan penggunaan media AR flashcard. Metode yang digunakan ialah Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan 4 tahapan di dalamnya, yaitu analisis permasalahan, workshop, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan memperlihatkan kemajuan terhadap pengetahuan serta keterampilan guru dalam menerapkan teknologi pembelajaran berbasis AR secara kontekstual dan menarik. Guru mampu mengintegrasikan media AR dalam pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Inggris dengan efektif. Selain itu, media ini dinilai mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi belajar anak, serta memperkuat keterampilan pedagogik guru dalam pemanfaatan teknologi.

Abstract

Briak-Briuk Sepanggul (BBS) is a concept of traditional Balinese music that used to be a reference for Penabuh. Today, a generation of young Penabuh no longer use it, likely due to a shift in social interaction from a collective work culture to a more individualistic tendency. In the past, the Penabuh were active in various social activities. This activity strengthens social ties and fosters a spirit of togetherness in music. In contrast, today's generation of Penabuh tends not to engage in such social interactions, so many are unaware of the importance of BBS in music practice. It impacts the decline in performance quality shown because it does not display the dynamics, sound integrity, sound balance, cohesiveness, and cohesiveness of expression characteristic of implementing BBS. This research aims to describe applying the BBS concept in Balinese music as a foothold for building quality music practices based on the value of togetherness. Three Balinese music ensembles that use the BBS concept are the subject of this case study, which gathers data through literature reviews, interviews, and in-depth interpretive analysis. This study demonstrates that the BBS philosophy is based on humanist principles like equality, cooperation, and unity. This value is applied in non-art and artistic activities, which influence each other. Humanist values in non-art activities have been proven to improve art quality, namely Balinese music performances. These findings strengthen the study of the sociology of karawitan and make an important contribution to the development of Balinese karawitan science.

Abstract

This study articulates the authority of penabuhs in interpreting musical patterns because it has never been elaborated on in any research topic. It is vital because penabuhs have a considerable role in the existence of Balinese gamelan from time to time. That is, no Balinese gamelan exists without the involvement of penabuhs in it. The penabuh's authority was examined from two eras of Balinese gamelan development, which aims to determine the differences in penabuh's authority in the two eras, namely the middle and new eras. Therefore, research uses an ethnographic approach. Data collection was conducted through interviews with Balinese gamelan penabuhs. Gajah Nongklang and Jaya Semara are data samples representing the composition of the Middle and New Eras. Aims to identify how changing times, both in the middle era and the new era, influence the way musicians interpret and execute musical patterns in Balinese karawitan. The study results concluded that the authority of penabuhs in the middle era was more significant than in the new era. The middle-era penabuhs had a role in interpreting melody, rhythm, tempo, and dynamics. Therefore, penabuhs are also consumed as composers. In the new era, on the other hand, the authority to interpret these patterns is the composer.

Abstract

Kualitas lembaga PAUD menjadi faktor kunci bagi kualitas pendidikan bagi anak usia dini. Guru memiliki posisi strategis bagi pencapaian lembaga PAUD yang bermutu. Guru yang ideal harus memiliki kapasitas hard skills dan soft skills yang mumpuni. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan penguatan atas kemampuan soft skills guru PAUD untuk mendorong peningkatkan kualitas lembaga PAUD. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 7 bulan pada sebuah TK Swasta Unggulan di Surakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Partisipan yang bersedia terlibat dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 16 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor utama tercapainya kualitas lembaga PAUD berasal dari kompetensi soft skills guru, meliputi kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, maupun profesionalitas. Oleh karena itu, sangat diperlukannya manajemen soft skills bagi guru PAUD. Manajemen Soft Skills berdampak pada peningkatan kemampuan soft skills guru dan kualitas lembaga PAUD

Abstract

Tingginya kasus kekerasan pada anak menjadi masalah yang perlu dianalisis lebih mendalam. Jenis kekerasan pada anak sangat beragam mulai dari eksploitasi; trackfiking; kekerasan fisik, spikis, seksual, penelatantaran, dan sebagainya. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan kurikulum ramah anak di PAUD Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Penelitian menggunakan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, studi literatur, wawancara dengan FGD. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: kurikulum merdeka menekankan kebebasan memilih kegiatan bermain sesuai minat dan bakat anak; perangkat pembelajaran secara adminidtratif belum memunculkan nilai ramah anak; pelaksanaan pembelajaran ramah anak atas peran guru sebagai fasilitator; media dan APE yang aman, mudah digunakan anak; materi pembelajaran sesuai perkembangan anak; ragam kegiatan sudah tidak bias gender dan nondiskriminasi belum sepenuhnya terpenuhi; Penilaian dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, unjukerja secara objektif dan deskriptif terhadap setiap capaian perkembangan anak. Hasil penelitian dapat menjadi panduan guru dalam membuat perencanaan, melakasanakan, dan menilai pembelajaran ramah anak di kurikulum merdeka.

Abstract

Studi ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara dukungan orang tua berbasis lingkungan bermain di rumah dengan kesiapan anak memasuki sekolah dasar (SD). Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari pentingnya masa transisi anak dari pendidikan anak usia dini ke pendidikan dasar yang menuntut kesiapan sosial-emosional, kognitif, dan regulasi diri yang baik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif korelasional. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 102 orang tua yang memiliki anak usia 5–6 tahun. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari dua kuesioner, yaitu dukungan yang diberikan oleh orang tua dalam penyediaan lingkungan bermain di rumah dan kesiapan anak masuk SD. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan korelasi pearson. Hasil korelasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara dukungan orang tua dengan kesiapan anak masuk sekolah dasar (r = 0,791; p < 0,01). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa dukungan orang tua yang tinggi dalam menciptakan lingkungan bermain yang edukatif, aman, dan interaktif berhubungan dengan tingginya tingkat kesiapan anak untuk memasuki jenjang SD. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran orang tua dalam memberikan stimulasi bermain yang bermakna sebagai fondasi bagi kesiapan belajar anak di tahap pendidikan selanjutnya.

Abstract

School adjustment is a condition that reflects the extent to which a child feels comfortable, interested, involved, and thriving in the school environment. Children need to have school adjustment since preschool because school adjustment significantly supports children's academic and social development in the future. This study aims to determine the condition of school adjustment possessed by kindergarten children. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research sample consisted of 266 children. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. Data collection is based on teacher reports using the adaptation of the Short-Form Teacher Rating Scale of School Adjustment (Short-Form TRSSA).  Data analysis used SPSS descriptive statistics. Result analyses show that a majority of school adjustment achievements that children can achieve are at the ability and skill level, not yet at the competence level. This condition indicates that the majority of children still need help. There are still a few children who already have the competence to do tasks independently without help. In general, there is almost no difference in school adjustment achievements between boys and girls, which means that boys and girls have a relatively similar level of mastery of school adjustment. The study's conclusion shows that most school adjustment achievements in children are not optimal. Efforts are needed to improve school adjustment because it is the foundation for children to adjust to school. When children have been able to adjust well to school, school achievement will be easier to achieve optimally.

Abstract

Purpose – Gross motor readiness is an important but often undervalued aspect of children’s transition from early childhood education to primary school. Although song-and-movement activities are widely used in Indonesian PAUD settings, their effects on children’s gross motor readiness are still rarely tested through structured intervention and standardized indicators. This study therefore examined the effectiveness of a structured song-and-movement intervention on gross motor development among preschool children during the transition to primary school. Design/methods/approach – A pre-experimental one-group pre-test and post-test design was used with 16 children aged 5–6 years in a PAUD institution in Karanganyar, Indonesia. The intervention was conducted over 8 weeks in 16 sessions using the “Aramsamsam” song-and-movement activity. Gross motor skills were assessed through five indicators: balance, strength, agility, coordination, and flexibility. Data were analysed using Shapiro-Wilk and paired-samples t-test. Findings – Children’s mean gross motor score increased from 8.81 (SD = 2.316) at pretest to 14.75 (SD = 3.088) at post-test. The difference was statistically significant (t = -20.102, df = 15, p < .001), with a very large effect size (Cohen’s d = 5.026; Hedges’ g = 4.899). The largest gains were found in coordination (1.43) and balance (1.37). Research implications/limitations – The findings suggest that structured rhythm-based movement activities may enhance motor readiness during school transition. However, the absence of a control group limits causal interpretation. Further randomized studies are recommended. Practical implications – Structured rhythm-based movement activities can be incorporated into early childhood classrooms as a playful strategy to support children’s motor readiness for school transition. Originality/value – This study contributes empirical evidence from Indonesia on the role of rhythm-structured song-and-movement activities in enhancing specific gross motor domains during the transition to primary school.
