Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the nature of chemical content, analyze abrasion value and optimum asphalt content using local Kinang Jingkion as road pavement material. In this study, XRF and XRD testing methods were used to determine the chemical content of Kinang Jingkion local material, then testing the characteristics of rough aggregate to determine the abrasion value, testing fine aggregate characteristics, and testing asphalt pen 60/70 and marshall test to determine the optimum asphalt content (KAO). The tests obtained the results of comparative data analysis between laboratory tests and literature standards that meet the eligibility requirements. The results showed that: First, the results of XRF and XRD analysis on Wilihingke samples, 0.15 mm granules, 2.36 mm granules, and Kinang Holuwon found that all chemical elements contained in the four samples were solid metal inorganic chemical elements. The results of this analysis prove that the four samples, which are fine aggregates and coarse aggregates, do not contain organic substances. Where the results of this analysis are by the requirements of aggregates which are one of the components in the concrete mixture, where the aggregates used must meet certain conditions, one of which must not contain excess organic matter because it can undergo decay by bacteria using dissolved oxygen; Second, from the test results obtained, the aggregate wear value (abrasion) was 32.69%; Third, based on the test results, the value of the Marshall parameter with Optimum Asphalt Content (KAO) obtained a value of 6.125%.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the California Bearing Ratio (CBR) and Unconfined Compressive Strength Test (UCS) values as road foundation layers using local materials, namely Kinang Jingkion. The soil and Kinang Jingkion materials for the study were taken from the Apalapsili quarry in Yalimo Regency. Additionally, the additive or soil stabilizer used was matos obtained from the testing of soil characteristics, including sieve analysis or gradation, Standard Proctor Test for light density, and liquid limit test. After testing, it was found that the soil from the Apalapsili quarry is granular soil and can be categorized as A-1-a according to SNI 03-6797-2002. Subsequent testing involved CBR and UCS testing on Mix Designs made of soil and cement with concentrations of 4%, 6%, and 8%. Next, additional Mix Designs were created with compositions of Kinang Jingkion, soil, cement at 4%, 6%, and 8%. Further Mix Designs included compositions of Kinang Jingkion, soil, matos at 2%, and cement at 4%, 6%, and 8%. From the UCS testing results, Mix Designs with soil and cement concentrations of 4% and 6% did not meet the compressive strength criteria, with compressive strength values of 9.26 Kg/Cm² and 17.4 Kg/Cm² respectively. According to SNI 6887-2012, the compressive strength value after 7 days of immersion should be within 25-35 Kg/Cm², while other Mix Designs met the criteria of SNI 6887-2012. CBR testing also utilized the same Mix Designs, and the highest CBR result was obtained from the Mix Design with compositions of Kinang Jingkion, soil, cement at 8%, and matos at 2%, with a CBR value of 112%. According to the 2018 Revised General Specifications, a CBR value of 112% indicates a Class A Foundation Layer.

Abstract

Under Presidential Decree No. 60 of 2021, on National Priority Lakes Rescue, Lake Sentani is one of 15 priority lakes to be rescued. In the annex to the President's regulation, it is mentioned to date about 90 tons or ± 5 m/year of sediment entering Lake Sentani with a total count of 62,0679.78 tonnes/year entering lake Sentani, with a storage capacity of 1,782 billion/m3. The water supply of Lake Sentani is obtained from the supply of 14 large and small rivers. With a slope inclination between 0% - 40% of the amount of sediment transported during the rainy season causes the decline in water quality and the high erosion that occurs. This study aims to find out the impact of land-use change and the effect of sediment control buildings on the number of sediments that enter Lake Sentani. From the results of the analysis the impact of land use change before the construction of the sediment control building based on the analysis carried out by the Papua River Regional Hall the known potential sedimentation rate is of 0.6 mm/th whereas the potential sedmentation rate analysed after the existence of the building of the Sediment Controller is of 0.012 mm /year. This indicates a change in the rate of potential Sedimentation entering the lake of sentani affected by the building sediment operator. When it rains with repeated flooding Q20, Q25, Q50 and Q100 years with conditions of 1 (one) sediment control building so that it can be judged to be a very heavy erosion class with land loss of more than 280 tons/ha/years with a potential sedimentation rate thickness between 2.55 mm/years to 2.85mm/years.

Abstract

PDAM Jayapura is a government agency that operates in the field of providing drinking water services, apart from being a profit institution, it is also a social institution. PDAM Jayapura is tasked with providing clean water for the Jayapura City and Jayapura Regency areas. This research aims to identify the existing condition of the Jayapura City PDAM drinking water distribution system, analyze the availability, needs, and installed (distribution network) clean water needs in Jayapura City, and conduct an analysis of other alternatives in meeting Clean Water Needs in Jayapura City. The results of this research show that the coverage of clean water services by Jayapura City PDAM is still below national standards, using technological innovation to monitor and control the clean water distribution network system in real-time using sensor technology installed at each network point to identify and repair leaks quickly, based on the results of the planet 2.0 analysis, several parts of the pipe have very small velocities, therefore, the discharge coming out of the pipe is very small. The solution that can be made is to reduce the dimensions of the existing pipe so that the flow speed can be met and also by adding water pumps at various points that have a water speed of 0 m/s so that the water in the pipe can flow properly.
