Studi ini hanya menggunakan dua variabel independen (work-life balance dan job satisfaction) dan satu variabel dependen (turnover intention).ABSTRACTThe high turnover intention rate poses a serious challenge for companies in retaining competent human resources. This phenomenon is clearly evident at CV. XYZ, a packaging manufacturing company in Cirebon, which has recorded a trend of increasing employee turnover year after year, peaking in 2024. Based on initial observations, poor work-life balance and low job satisfaction are suspected to be the main factors driving employees' intention to leave the company. This study aims to analyze the influence of work-life balance and job satisfaction on turnover intention. The method used is a quantitative approach with a saturated sampling technique applied to the entire population of CV. XYZ employees, totaling 70 individuals. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using IBM SPSS 25 software. The findings of this study indicate that work-life balance significantly influences turnover intention. Similarly, job satisfaction significantly influences turnover intention. Additionally, work-life balance and job satisfaction simultaneously significantly influence turnover intention. These findings emphasize the importance of companies creating a work environment that supports work-life balance and enhances job satisfaction to reduce turnover intention. This study only used two independent variables (work-life balance and job satisfaction) and one dependent variable (turnover intention).

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of personality and emotional intelligence on burnout and its implications for employee performance at PT Cirebon Hotel and Convention (The Luxton Cirebon). The research is grounded in the high emotional pressure and job demands characteristic of the hospitality sector, which can contribute to burnout and diminish employee performance. The methodology employed is a quantitative approach with a causal-associative design. The population of this study consists of 250 employees, with a sample of 154 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through a questionnaire employing a Likert scale and subsequently analyzed using path analysis with SPSS software. The findings indicate that personality and emotional intelligence exert a significant negative influence on burnout. Furthermore, personality and emotional intelligence contribute significantly and positively to employee performance, while burnout exerts a significant negative effect on performance. This study also reveals that burnout functions as a mediating variable in the relationship between personality and emotional intelligence and employee performance. The results of this study offer a theoretical contribution to the development of organizational behavior research, as well as practical implications for hotel management in achieving sustainable human resource management.

Abstract

The implementation of a hybrid working system in the banking sector has increased the intensity of digital technology usage, with the potential to affect the psychological condition of employees. This condition can give rise to digital fatigue and impact employee engagement as well as job-hopping intention. Beyond technological factors, individual personality also plays a role in determining employees' responses to work demands in the hybrid working era. This study aims to analyze the influence of personality and digital fatigue on employee engagement and its implications for job-hopping intention among employees of Bank Majalengka. This study employs an associative quantitative approach with a sample of 100 Bank Majalengka employees selected using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using path analysis with the aid of SPSS. The results indicate that personality has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement. Personality and digital fatigue also have a positive and significant effect on job-hopping intention. However, digital fatigue does not have a significant direct effect on employee engagement, and employee engagement has not been demonstrated to mediate the influence of personality or digital fatigue on job-hopping intention. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a consideration for Bank Majalengka management in managing human resources in the hybrid working era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of personality on turnover intention, with job burnout and employee engagement serving as mediating variables at PT Sejahtera Kurir Express Cirebon. The increasing rate of employee turnover since 2023 constitutes the primary background of this research. This study employs a quantitative explanatory approach with a sample of 151 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using path analysis with SPSS 29. The results indicate that personality has a significant effect on both job burnout and employee engagement. Furthermore, job burnout, employee engagement, and personality significantly influence turnover intention. Interestingly, employee engagement shows a positive relationship with turnover intention, suggesting that highly engaged employees may seek better career opportunities when organizational support is insufficient. In addition, job burnout and employee engagement significantly act as mediating variables in the relationship between personality and turnover intention. These findings highlight the importance of managing employees’ psychological conditions and providing adequate organizational support to reduce employee turnover rates.
