Abstract

Service industries, such as tax consultants and wedding planners, frequently utilize part-time workers to minimize operational costs. However, employing part-time staff can present certain drawbacks, such as the risk of knowledge loss due to high turnover rates. This research aims to explore the disparities in knowledge management practices between two service-oriented companies that employ different strategies for managing part-time employees. The study involved 22 tax consultant employees and 30 wedding planner employees, who participated by completing a questionnaire. Regression analysis was employed to test the relationships among the variables under investigation. The findings of the study reveal that knowledge management significantly influences employee innovative work behavior. Furthermore, variations in knowledge management practices were observed between the two businesses, primarily attributed to their distinct characteristics. This study highlights the importance of recognizing the divergent nature of sectors within the same industry and tailoring policies accordingly to suit their specific needs.

Abstract

Digital transformation has put tremendous pressure on every company that requires its workers to be able to innovate in using technology. This study will show the extent to which digital literacy affects innovative work behavior at the BPRS Amanah Rabbaniah company. The operation of the banking industry relies heavily on digital technology, but the innovation gap is limited due to banking regulations from the government. This study aims to find out the extent to which employee’s innovative work behavior can be influenced by employee digital literacy. This research uses a survey method, where data collection uses a digital questionnaire distributed to 50 employees. The data was processed using a simple linear regression test to prove the effect of digital literacy on innovative work behavior. Furthermore, the data is presented in a frequency distribution table to find the tendency of respondents' answers. The results of data processing show that digital literacy affects innovative work behavior. All indicators in digital literacy have a good category, while in IWB there are 2 indicators that have a sufficient category. The findings of this study indicate that in banking companies the workflow is fully supervised by OJK & existing BI regulations, so that employees get job instructions directly from superiors or leaders where employees cannot simply provide innovative ideas at work but do not rule out the possibility for workers to continue to innovate in the use of digital technology at their work.

Abstract

The proliferation of coffee shops in Bandung city is influenced by various factors, including the cultural significance of coffee consumption, the tendency of young individuals to frequent coffee establishments, and the influx of tourists to the city. Nevertheless, a considerable number of coffee shops have experienced closure shortly after their establishment due to their inability to sustain themselves in the industry. This predicament is often attributed to a deficiency in the knowledge required to manage human resources, thereby impeding organizational performance effectively. Consequently, this research aims to examine the impact of knowledge management and innovative work behavior on organizational performance. The study focuses on three coffee shops situated in Bandung, with a total sample size of 39 individuals. The findings from these establishments demonstrate a significant and positive influence of innovative work behavior and knowledge management on organizational performance. However, it is noteworthy that disparities in regulations and policies among the three coffee shops have engendered varying perspectives among employees regarding knowledge management, innovative work behavior, and organizational performance

Abstract

Non-tax revenue (PNBP) is a collection other than taxes paid by individuals, groups or business entities as an obligation to the state for the utilization of natural resources. Increasing the optimization of non-tax revenues is still a challenge for the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal in managing PNBP. The existence of the e-PNBP application aims to make monitoring of PNBP obligations much easier to carry out. This application was created to facilitate the calculation of PNBP obligations by the payer, facilitate evaluation and verification of PNBP obligations by evaluators, and as a function of payment of mineral and coal PNBP obligations so that they are in accordance with the calculated value of PNBP obligations. At present, the e-PNBP application is one of the most dynamic among others in terms of facilitating various changes and adjustments to regulations related to mineral and coal mining. In its development, the e-PNBP application requires integration with other applications such as MODI, SIMPONI, MOMS, MVP and SERASI, as well as various other developments.

Abstract

Tin mining in Indonesia has been regulated by Indonesia Law Number 3 of 2020. However, it has not been fully utilized in Indonesia despite the country's abundant tin deposit opportunities, its position as one of the significant producers of tin globally, and the impact on both the global tin stock and price. In light of this, a comprehensive literature review has been carried out; an initial conceptual framework and causal loop diagram of Indonesia’s national tin production planning have been produced to produce the concept of an instrument for setting national tin production quotas and the concept of formulating the distribution of national tin production levels that could be a reference for future researchers as well as Government of Indonesia in order to find the national tin production planning.

Abstract

Fuel for high-energy solid fuel combustion systems must meet abundant availability, affordability, and environmental friendliness criteria, particularly having low greenhouse gas emissions. One type of fuel that meets these criteria is bio-coal. Gasification burners employ staged combustion techniques that enhance combustion efficiency and reduce the formation of harmful substances, making them more environmentally friendly. This article discusses the performance testing of gasification burners using bio-coal as fuel, with variable primary air flow rates of 25, 30, 35, 40, and 50 m3/hour and biomass percentages in the bio-coal of 25%, 50%, and 75% by weight. The parameters observed are burner capacity, temperature, and CO2 gas emission factor. The experimental results show that increasing the air flow rate from 25 to 35 m3/hour significantly increases burner capacity and temperature, while further increasing the primary air flow rate to 50 m3/hour results in a gradual increase in burner capacity. The experiments also indicate that increasing the biomass percentage in the bio-coal slightly increases burner capacity and temperature due to the similar calorific values of palm pellet and coal used. The gasification burner technology developed by BBP Tekmira has proven to operate effectively within a capacity range of 8 to 20 kg/hour for bio-coal fuel with biomass percentages ranging from 25% to 75% by weight, producing burner temperatures between 805 and 933 degrees Celsius. Using bio-coal for gasification burners has also been shown to reduce greenhouse gas emissions when the biomass percentage in bio-coal exceeds 64%.

Abstract

The issue of overlapping mining permits with land rights is prevalent in Indonesia. The factors contributing to this overlap problem include disparities or lack of synchronization in basic geospatial information and regulations. The Directorate General of Mineral and Coal has developed a Geological Information System (IGT) for the mining sector with an accuracy of approximately 3 cm, equivalent to a scale of 1:600. This spatial database is further expanded through a web-based application called Minerba One Map Indonesia (MOMI) and Minerba One Data Indonesia (MODI) as the sole recognized source of mining licensing data used by the Central Government and Regional Governments in policy-making. The resolution of overlapping mining permits with forest areas and land rights should still consider business assurance and legal certainty so as not to disrupt the investment climate in the mining sector
