Abstract

National mineral and coal mining is the most crucial part of supporting non-tax state revenue (PNBP) in Indonesia. Mining Inspectors (IT) in Indonesia play a very crucial role in ensuring proper and correct mining activities management. The position of Mining Inspector has Competency Standards, formal education, work experience, and attitudes that have been regulated by the government. So far, there has been no research conducted to answer the question of whether the competencies possessed by each Mining Inspector can improve the performance of supervision in mineral and coal mining engineering and environmental aspects. This research was conducted on all Mining Inspectors in Java and Sumatra using a saturated sample. The data was then processed using SmartPLS data processing software. It was revealed in this research that Formal Education, Work Experience, and Competency Development have a positive and significant influence on Organizational Performance. Competency Development can act as a mediator of the influence of the two exogenous variables on Organizational Performance. Through these findings, stakeholders are expected to design programs to improve formal education, work experience, and the competencies of Mining Inspectors.

Abstract

Revolusi pada big data dan perkembangan kapasitas komputasi membawa dampak terhadap berbagai industri, termasuk pada industri kreatif. Industri kreatif mempunyai dampak yang cukup signifikan terhadap laju Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) yang merupakan faktor yang berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi negara. Hal ini membuat industri kreatif menjadi salah satu alternatif kuat untuk membangun kerajaan bisnis maupun sebagai pilihan sektor yang menarik untuk digeluti di dunia profesional. Namun, di era digital dimana penggunaan artificial intelligence (AI) sudah semakin marak, para penggiat di industri kreatif mulai mendapat tantangannya tersendiri. Hal ini dikarenakan para penggiat di industri kreatif dihadapkan pada kenyataan bahwa teknologi dapat menjadi ancaman untuk pekerjaan mereka juga dapat menjadi alat bantu yang dapat mendukung pekerjaan mereka. Penelitian ini hendak mengetahui bagaimana perkembangan AI mempengaruhi sikap pelaku di industri kreatif. Theory of Planned Behavior digunakan sebagai dasar untuk memahami perilaku yang muncul akibat disrupsi AI. Metode campuran digunakan agar dapat memberikan asumsi secara menyeluruh atas akibat dari disrupsi AI, sekaligus juga bisa mendapatkan gambaran pemahaman secara holistik dari kacamata penggiat industri kreatif yang diwakili oleh beberapa responden dari berbagai bidang keahlian melalui wawancara terstruktur. Responden wawancara yang bekerja di industri kreatif, menyatakan bahwa kehadiran AI banyak membantu proses kreatif mereka sampai pada tahapan tertentu. Yakni, AI dipergunakan sebagai sarana triangulasi, referensi untuk pengembangan ide orisinil, membaca trend terkini, serta sebagai alat bantu ketika dihadapkan pada kebutuhan dengan waktu yang terbatas.

Abstract

The right use of technology can enhance the improvement of operational processes. However, the success rate of the use of this technology is inseparable from the competence of information technology. Therefore, the company should facilitate information technology competency improvement. A challenging question is whether the managers of service, manufacturing, and retail industry must focus on the same information technology competency, or they should focus on difference ones, considering the industry’s uniqueness. This study uses a survey method. The data obtained were 448 respondents and then processed using ANOVA and cross tabulation. The results showed that there were significant differences in those three components of information technology competency between manufacturing and retail-service. This is due to differences in market development strategy, such as companies needing new branches to reach new markets or companies labor intensive or not.

Abstract

Pengetahuan adalah salah satu aspek penting dalam kemajuan bangsa. Salah satu bidang yang menggunakan pengetahuan dalam bidangnya adalah perguruan tinggi. Dari perguruan tinggi diharapkan dapat memanfaatkan pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh dosen dan tenaga kependidikan sebagai aspek penggerak perguruan tinggi. Pada penelitian ini akan diteliti mengenai bagaimana perspektif dosen dan tenaga kependidikan pada praktik manajemen pengetahuan (Knowledge Management Practices/KMP) terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif (Innovative Work Behavior/IWB). Akan diteliti apakah pengetahuan yang telah dimiliki dosen dan tenaga kependidikan turut berperan terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif yang dapat berupa inovasi untuk mengembangkan cata pembelajaran atau cara meningkatkan pelayanan dan pemberian jasa kepada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner ke beberapa perguruan tinggi. Kuesioner terdiri dari 12 pertanyaan pada variabel KMP dan 9 pertanyaan pada variabel IWB. Responden yang mengisi kuesioner ini adalah dosen dan tenaga kependidikan yang masih aktif bekerja pada perguruan tinggi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan pada 14 universitas didapatkan bahwa dosen dan tenaga kependidikan berpendapat bahwa KMP tidak berpengaruh terhadap IWB pada perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the influence of Knowledge Sharing Intention variable on Innovative Work Behaviour in employees at PT. XYZ. The results show that the influence of Knowledge Sharing Intention variable on Innovative Work Behaviour variable is 63.5%. From the frequency distribution results in the table, it can be seen that employees at PT. XYZ tend to have good Knowledge Sharing Intention and Innovative Work Behaviour. However, for the level of innovativeness, superiors tend to be more innovative than subordinates who do not have subordinates. Therefore, to increase the level of innovation of employees, superiors must provide means for subordinates to be more innovative, because superiors influence the level of innovation of their employees

Abstract

Purpose: To see the attitude of AI towards personal innovativeness and to see the differences in attitudes between generation Z and previous generations Research methodology: Respondents in this study are 1,293 people consisted of entrepreneurs and professional workers covering generation Z and previous generations. Results: GAAIS has influence of 9.5% on personal innovativeness, bus the data showa no statistically significant difference in attitude towards AI between cross-generational. Limitations: The analysis in this study still requires the addition of more in-depth variables such as personality, trust, social and subject norms to be able to predict attitudes towards AI in more depth. Contribution: This study is expected to provide deeper insight into the influence of attitudes towards AI on personal innovativeness, considering that in the future AI will be close on society.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of millennials' and generation Z's attitudes on their intention to continue using artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed online to individuals working in various fields of work that use AI in their activities. A total of 140 questionnaires were returned, exceeding the minimum sample size requested. Data processing involved validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and regression tests. The results showed that millennials tend to have a skeptical attitude towards AI capabilities, while generation Z is more open to the use of AI in various aspects of life. Regression analysis showed that a positive attitude towards AI significantly influences the intention to continue using the technology. The study also revealed that human happiness is more related to human aspects than the use of AI technology. As such, the findings provide valuable insights into the complexity of human interactions with AI and the implications for future technology adoption.

Abstract

Abstrak: Semua industri menghadapi banyak tantangan selama proses penerapan teknologi baru. Salah satu tantangannya adalah sikap individu yang dapat terbagi menjadi sikap positif dan sikap negatif terhadap AI. Sikap positif terhadap AI beberapa diantaranya adalah mempercepat proses pekerjaan, membuka peluang ekonomi baru, menghemat biaya, sedangkan sikap negatif AI dimana mendatangkan malapetaka bagi manusia karena ketakutan akan menggantikan peran manusia, dapat menghilangkan kemampuan berbahasa alami, ketergantungan pada teknologi, risiko kecurangan seperti plagiat, dan dapat menyalahgunakan data pribadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap umum terhadap AI dan niat kelanjutan menggunakan AI pada pegawai yang pernah menggunakannya di area Jakarta dan Jawa Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dimana teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen (GAAIS/Sikap Umum terhadap Skala Kecerdasan Buatan) memiliki pengaruh sebesar 44,6% terhadap variabel dependen (CI/Niat Kelanjutan) untuk kembali menggunakan Kecerdasan Buatan. Ini berarti bahwa hampir setengah dari variasi dalam niat seseorang untuk terus menggunakan AI dapat dijelaskan oleh variasi dalam sikapnya terhadap AI. Dengan kata lain, sikap positif dan negatif terhadap AI, dapat memprediksi kemungkinan seseorang untuk terus menggunakan teknologi ini. Selain itu juga bahwa penelitian ini menambah sudut pandang baru pada Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) yaitu teknologi AI di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of digital literacy on the employability of healthcare professionals in type B hospitals in Banten Province. Digital literacy is defined as the ability to search, comprehend, and effectively utilize digital information, which has become increasingly important in the era of digital transformation. Employability refers to an individual's ability to secure and retain employment by leveraging their skills and knowledge. This quantitative study employed a descriptive analysis method involving 132 respondents from healthcare professionals with undergraduate and diploma degrees. The results revealed that digital literacy influences employability by 41.5%, while the remaining 58.5% is influenced by other factors. Respondents with undergraduate degrees tend to have higher digital literacy and employability levels than those with diplomas. This highlights the importance of integrating digital literacy into healthcare education curricula and providing additional training to improve these skills in the workplace. This study offers strategic insights for hospitals and educational institutions to prepare healthcare professionals for future digital challenges.

Abstract

Sharing knowledge in the medical field is crucial as it can enhance patients care quality and accelerate their recovery. An individual's proficiency in technology can motivate them to share their knowledge more extensively. However, medical staff often exhibit low digital literacy, as it is not typically considered a core competency in their careers. This study employed a survey method involving 122 medical staff at a hospital. Data was analyzed using regression testing to verify the influence of digital literacy on the intention to share knowledge. The results indicated that individuals with high digital literacy are more inclined to share their knowledge, benefiting the organization. Additionally, individuals with significant work experience demonstrated lower digital literacy compared to those with moderate experience. Organizations can use this research as a reference to design technology skills training programs that are more accessible to senior employees.
