Abstract

Slaves are people who do not have independence in people's lives and have the fate of being traded as objects, sometimes even being treated inhumanely. In historical records, slavery existed before Islam, and when Islam came, slaves were called slaves and this religion forbade all forms of slavery practices with a call to free them. This paper attempts to discuss how to interpret slavery and how to free slaves according to Sayyid Quṭb in Tafsir Fī ilāl al-Qur'ān. The research method used in this study is the mauḍū'i (thematic) method, which is a method that collects verses from the Qur'an that have the same purpose. The data used in this study is the Tafsir Fī ilāl al-Qur'ān. The results of this study indicate that the concept of slavery according to Sayyid Qutb is aimed at conditions of emergency (compulsion), that only in emergency conditions is slavery allowed, such as being allowed to marry slave women during the war, and only slaves who are obtained as prisoners in the fī sabīlillah war are one thing. the only slavery recognized in Islam. While the way of freeing slaves is done by establishing slave freedom through the payment of kafarat, for example, someone frees a slave before having intercourse with a wife who is forbidden to him through zhihar. Budak merupakan orang yang tidak memiliki kemerdekaan dalam hiduporang dan bernasib sebagai benda yang diperjualbelikan, bahkan kadang-kadang diperlakukan tidak manusiawi. Dalam catatan sejarah, perbudakan sudah ada sebelum Islam, dan ketika Islam datang, budak disebut hamba sahaya dan agama ini melarang seluruh bentuk praktik perbudakan dengan seruan memerdekakannya. Tulisan ini berupaya membahas tentang bagaimana penafsiran perbudakan dan cara pembebasan budak menurut Sayyid Quṭb dalam Tafsir Fī Ẓilāl al-Qur’ān. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode mauḍū’i (tematik), yaitu metode yang menghimpun ayat-ayat al-Qur’an yang mempunyai maksud yang sama. Data yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah Tafsir Fī Ẓilāl al-Qur’ān. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsep perbudakan menurut Sayyid Qutb tertuju pada kondisi darurat (keterpaksaan), bahwasanya hanya dalam kondisi darurat diperbolehkannya perbudakan, seperti dibolehkannya menikah dengan wanita budak pada masa peperangan, dan hanya budak yang diperoleh sebagai tawanan di dalam perang fī sabīlillah lah satu-satunya perbudakan diakui dalam Islam. Sedangkan cara pembebasan budak dilakukan dengan menetapkan kemerdekaan budak melalui pembayaran kafarat, misalnya seseorang memerdekakan budak sebelum menggauli istri yang di haramkan kepada dirinya melalui zhihar.

Abstract

Some of the verses in the Qur'an have pronunciations that seem synonymous (muradif) but when examined further they have different connotations, such as in the words mathar and ghaits. There are various kinds of meanings of lafaz mathar and ghaits in the Qur'an, namely the amazing rain, the rain of stones, the rain of the sijjil, and so on. This paper aims to reveal how the meaning of the lafaz mathar and ghaits in the Qur'an is viewed from the muradif aspect and how the context of the use of this lafaz in the Qur'an is. This study is a literature review by collecting data and reviewing library materials consisting of primary and secondary data. The data obtained as documentation uses the maudhu'i method. The results of this study, the lafaz mathar is found in 9 surahs with 6 forms of lafaz variations, while the ghaits lafaz is found in 5 surahs and has 6 forms of lafaz variations. Lafaz mathar and ghaits have the same meaning, namely rain, but the context of the verse and the interpretation are different. Lafaz mathar shows more rain of doom, punishment, or reinforcements. While lafaz ghaits shows the rain of mercy or help from Allah. Sebagian ayat-ayat dalam Alquran mempunyai lafaz yang tampaknya sinonim (muradif) namun bila diteliti lebih jauh memiliki konotasi yang berbeda, seperti pada lafaz mathar dan ghaits. Terdapat berbagai macam ragam makna lafaz mathar dan ghaits dalam Alquran yakni hujan yang mengagumkan, hujan batu, hujan sijjil, dan lain sebagainya. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana pemaknaan lafaz mathar dan ghaits dalam Alquran ditinjau dari aspek muradif dan bagaimana konteks penggunaan lafaz tersebut dalam Alquran. Kajian ini adalah kajian kepustakaan dengan mengumpulkan data-data dan mengkaji bahan-bahan kepustakaan yang terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder. Adapun data yang diperoleh sebagai dokumentasi menggunakan metode maudhu’i. Hasil penelitian ini, lafaz mathar ditemukan dalam 9 surah dengan 6 bentuk variasi lafaz, sedangkan lafaz ghaits ditemukan dalam 5 surah serta memiliki 6 bentuk variasi lafaz. Lafaz mathar dan ghaits memiliki makna yang sama yaitu hujan, akan tetapi konteks ayat dan penafsirannya berbeda. Lafaz mathar lebih menunjukkan kepada hujan azab, hukuman, atau bala. Sedangkan lafaz ghaits menunjukkan kepada hujan rahmat atau pertolongan dari Allah.

Abstract

Sensitive issues that occur today are the relationship between religions that are not harmonious, the birth of Islamophobia among non-Muslims has given birth to a negative stigma against Islam, this is due to their misunderstanding of the teachings of Islam. This condition has resulted in disharmony in the social life of the community and even the emergence of hostility. This paper seeks to clarify the misunderstanding of non-Muslims toward Islam by explaining the concept of tolerance in the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet. The results of the study show that in terms of humanity, Islam is very tolerant and upholds human values, while in matters of religious belief, Islam provides limits so that it does not fall into shirk because it is a big sin that is not forgiven by Allah swt. Isu sensitif yang terjadi saat ini adalah hubungan antar agama yang tidak harmonis, lahirnya islamophopia di kalangan non muslim telah melahirkan stigma negatif terhadap Islam, hal diakibatkan kesalah pahaman mereka terhadap ajaran Islam. kondisi ini telah mengakibatkan terjadinya disharmonis dalam kehidupan sosial masyarakat bahkan munculnya permusuhan. Tulisan ini berupaya memperjelas kesalah pahaman kalangan non muslim terhadap Islam dengan menjelaskan konsep toleransi dalam Alquran dan Sunnah Rasul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam hal kemanusian, Islam sangat toleran dan menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai kemanusian, sedangkan dalam persoalan keyakinan beragama, Islam memberi batasan agar agar tudak terjerumus dalam kesyirikan, karena hal itu merupakan dosa besar yang tidak diampunkan oleh Allah swt.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an learning methods have been improving from time to time, and various methods have been applied in many Al-Qur'an learning institutions, one of which is the Al-Hira' method. As the newest method, Al-Hira has been quickly used in a number of Al-Quran learning institutions (TPA) in Subulussalam. The questions posed in this paper are related to the application of the Al-Hira learning method and the constraints involved in applying the method. This study is field research; data collection is done through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the Al-Hira' method was used because of its advantages, including the ease in preparing teaching and learning materials, as well as the ease in teaching students. However, teachers use different ways of implementing the method, including modeling and giving direct examples like reading the Qur'an first and then having students repeat it. In terms of constraints, facilities, environment, funding sources, human resources, parental participation, and students' backgrounds such as education, economy, and social status, there are several factors that influence the application of the Al-Hira' learning method.Abstrak: Metode pembelajaran Al-Qur'an semakin meningkat dari waktu ke waktu, dan berbagai metode telah diterapkan di banyak lembaga pembelajaran Al-Qur'an, salah satunya adalah metode Al-Hira'. Sebagai metode terbaru, Al-Hira telah digunakan dengan cepat di sejumlah lembaga pembelajaran Al-Quran (TPA) di Subulussalam. Pertanyaan yang diajukan dalam tulisan ini terkait dengan penerapan metode pembelajaran Al-Hira dan kendala dalam penerapan metode tersebut. Kajian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Al-Hira’ digunakan karena kelebihannya, antara lain kemudahan dalam menyusun bahan ajar dan pembelajaran, serta kemudahan dalam mengajar siswa. Namun, guru menggunakan cara yang berbeda dalam menerapkan metode termasuk pemodelan seperti memberikan contoh langsung: membaca Al-Qur'an terlebih dahulu kemudian membuat siswa mengulanginya. Dari sisi kendala, fasilitas, lingkungan, sumber dana, sumber daya manusia, peran serta orang tua, dan latar belakang peserta didik seperti pendidikan, ekonomi, dan status sosial, menjadi beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi penerapan metode pembelajaran Al-Hira’.

Abstract

Prophet Muhammad SAW is a source of information and guidance for people in carrying out the complete Islamic law. However, the understanding of this information does not always result in a unanimous agreement among the Muslim community, except in some aspects that are clearly defined in the Quran and authenticated Hadiths. In some cases, there may be opportunities for different practices based on the context of the situation. During the Prophet's lifetime, his companions could easily confirm the correctness of their actions by seeking his guidance. In certain cases, the Prophet's guidance was clear and unambiguous, and his companions were obliged to follow it. In other cases, the Prophet provided alternatives, allowing them to choose according to the situation they faced. In the context of religious moderation, which requires alternatives in some matters, there is a need for in-depth research into some Hadiths that contain messages on the importance of practicing religious moderation. This is necessary to avoid misunderstandings among the Muslim community and to create a harmonious religious social life, both within and outside the Muslim community.ABSTRAKNabi Muhammad Saw merupakan sumber informasi dan panutan bagi manusia dalam melaksanakan syariat Islam secara kaffah. Pemahaman terhadap berbagai informasi tersebut tidak secara tegas menghasilkan satu kata sepakat bagi umatnya, kecuali dalam beberapa aspek yang ditetapkan dengan ayat Alquran yang muhkam dan hadis-hadis mutawatir. Bahkan dalam beberapa kasus, dianggap memiliki peluang untuk dipraktikkan dengan beberapa alternatif, sesuai dengan konteks yang mengitari umat manusia.  Dalam praktiknya, para sahabat dengan mudah dapat mengkonfirmasi setiap amalan yang mereka lakukan karena masih hidupnya Nabi Saw.  Dalam kasus tertentu, para sahabat mendapati titah Nabi jelas dan tegas, sehingga tidak boleh bagi mereka mempraktikkan dengan cara yang tidak diizinkan oleh Nabi mereka. Sedangkan dalam beberapa aspek lainnya, Nabi memberikan alternatif kepada mereka untuk memilih sesuai dengan situasi dan kondisi yang dihadapi. Dalam konteks moderasi beragama, yang menuntut adanya alternatif-alternatif dalam suatu perkara, dibutuhkan penelitian secara mendalam terhadap beberapa hadis yang mengandung pesan-pesan terhadap pentingnya praktik moderasi beragama tersebut, sehingga tidak menimbulkan kesalahpahaman di kalangan umat Islam, dan juga dapat menciptakan kehidupan sosial keagamaan secara harmonis khusus di internal umat Islam itu sendiri, dan secara umum terkait pihak eksternal umat Islam.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the hadiths used by the majority of scholars from the perspective of the emergence of hadiths to be used as bayan of the Koran in the inheritance of kalalah by conducting a literature review of ushul fiqh works, interpretations and explanations of hadiths. This is based on the decisions of several religious courts in Indonesia which stipulate that the existence of daughters hinders siblings from obtaining inheritance. This ruling is different from fiqh which in no way makes having a daughter hinder siblings from obtaining an inheritance based on the hadith used in interpreting the Koran. The results of this study show that consideration of the time of appearance (wurud) of hadith has become the practice of Sunni scholars in legal istinbath, but is not applied to the function of bayan of the Koran. While the Prophet made legal decisions based on the verses of the Koran that had been revealed to him. On the other hand, it can be seen that the inheritance system built by the Qur'an is carried out gradually in four stages with the revelation of verses within a span of six years, each of which stipulates certain aspects of inheritance law. The use of these hadiths is seen as inappropriate because the hadiths have lost the spirit of renewal that the Qur'an has made. The context of the verses that were revealed later was different from the verses that were revealed earlier. The hadith is only appropriate to use as bayan verses 11 and 12 of sura al-Nisa' which explain their respective parts, not to explain the meaning of kalalah. Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menelaah hadis yang digunakan oleh jumhur ulama dari sisi pertimbangan waktu munculnya hadis untuk digunakan sebagai bayan Alquran dalam kewarisan kalalah dengan melakukan telaah literatur dari karya-karya ushul fiqh, tafsir dan syarah hadis. Hal ini didasari adanya putusan beberapa pengadilan agama di Indonesia yang menetapkan keberadaan anak perempuan menghalangi saudara dalam memperoleh warisan. Putusan ini berbeda dengan fikih yang sama sekali tidak menjadikan adanya anak perempuan menghambat saudara dalam memperoleh warisan berdasarkan hadis yang digunakan dalam menafsirkan Alquran. Hasil telaahan tersebut memperlihatkan bahwa pertimbangan waktu kemunculan (wurud) hadis telah menjadi praktik ulama Sunni dalam istinbath hukum, tetapi tidak diterapkan untuk fungsi bayan Alquran. Sementara Nabi membuat keputusan-keputusan hukum didasarkan atas ayat Alquran yang telah diturunkan kepada beliau. Di sisi lain, terlihat bahwa sistem kewarisan yang dibangun Alquran dilakukan secara gradual dalam empat tahap dengan turunnya ayat dalam rentang waktu enam tahun yang masing-masingnya menetapkan aspek-aspek tertentu hukum kewarisan. Penggunaan hadis-hadis tersebut oleh jumhur ulama dipandang tidak tepat karena hadis-hadis telah kehilangan semangat pembaruan yang telah dibuat Alquran. Konteks ayat yang turun kemudian telah berbeda dengan ayat yang turun terlebih dahulu. Hadis tersebut hanya tepat digunakan sebagai bayan ayat 11 dan 12 surat al-Nisa’ yang menjelaskan bagian masing-masing, tidak untuk menjelaskan makna kalalah.

Abstract

The Tahfiz Al-Qur'an program is not only applied and developed in Islamic educational institutions and Islamic boarding schools but has also been implemented in formal educational institutions, both private and public. This research aims to examine the implementation of the Tahfiz Al-Qur'an program at SDN Bueng Cala and identify the challenges in its implementation at SDN Bueng Cala, Aceh Besar. This study adopts a field research approach, where data collection takes place in the field to describe, explain, and address issues related to the phenomena or events under investigation. The findings of this research reveal that the implementation of the Tahfiz Al-Qur'an program is conducted from grade IV to grade VI, with a duration of 70 minutes per week for each class. The program is implemented within each respective class. The methods employed for Tahfiz at SDN Bueng Cala include the takrir method, talaqqi method, and muraja'ah method.Abstrak: Program tahfiz Al-Qur’an dewasa ini tidak hanya diterapkan dan dikembangkan di lembaga-lembaga pendidikan Islam ataupun pondok pesantren, tetapi juga telah diterapkan di lembaga-lembaga pendidikan formal, baik swasta maupun negeri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan program tahfiz Al-Qur’an di SDN Bueng Cala, dan mengetahui problematika dalam pelaksanaan program tahfiz Al-Qur’an di SDN Bueng Cala, Aceh Besar. Adapun penelitian ini bersifat field research, Dimana proses pengambilan data dilakukan di lapangan, untuk menggambarkan, menjelaskan, dan menjawab persoalan-persoalan suatu fenomena atau peristiwa yang terjadi ketika melakukan penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu Implementasi program tahfiz Al-Qur’an mulai diterapkan pada kelas IV sampai kelas VI, program tahfiz ini diadakan 70 menit per minggu pada setiap kelasnya, pelaksanaan program tahfiz berlangsung di kelas masing-masing. Dan metode tahfiz yang dipakai di SDN Bueng Cala adalah metode takrir, metode talaqqi, dan metode muraja’ah.

Abstract

The early tradition of reading Surah al-Isra by the Prophet. done at night which is read in its entirety before the Prophet Saw sleep. This is different from the phenomenon that occurs at the Hidayatul Islamiyah Islamic Boarding School, where they only practice four verses from Surah al-Isra, namely verses 79-82 which are read during duha. Based on this phenomenon, the researcher examines the practice, understanding of teachers and students and the meaning of these readings. This research is a qualitative research with a field study approach. Data was collected through observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The results showed that reading Surah al-Isra verses 79-82 was carried out in congregation after the Duha prayer followed by recitation of remembrance and other prayers. The teacher's understanding of the four verses is in line with the exegetes' interpretation, but not perfect. While the students' understanding of the contents of the verse can be grouped into two, namely understanding based on the translation of the pronunciation only, and understanding of the interpretation of the verse in general. Their understanding is also in line with the interpretation of the interpreter and the understanding of the teacher. As for the meaning of the practice of reciting Surah al-Isra verses 79-82, they include giving peace and self-submission to Allah Swt, ease in studying knowledge, smooth sustenance and closeness to Allah Swt and departure in worship.

Abstract

A person who is called a zuhud is at least characterized by three kinds of traits: not overly excited by what he has gained from earthly things, not too saddened by what is lost from him; and not preoccupied with the search and enjoyment of the world so that it neglects something more important in the sight of God. Some people think that zuhud is just a matter of leaving the treasure, because leaving the treasure and showing poverty is an easy thing to do by anyone who wants to say people that he is a zahid. Actually zuhud is the attitude of sincerity in the heart against the limitations and advantages possessed. Zuhud also has a meaning against the passions of the temptations of material nature. Lust is the covering of all worldly desires, then zuhud is to abolish that attitude. Zuhud also does not live in poverty and simple circumstances caused by the inability of a person to gain luxury and wealth, but zuhud is to leave the luxury solely for the sake of achieving Allah's pleasure. In other words, it is not said zuhud for the poor because they can not afford to seek a better life.
