Abstract

Curriculum is one of such vital important instruments in developing an educational institution that it should be designed in an effective manner in order to describe both direction and goal to be realized in Islamic education. A good curriculum is that which accommodates and meets community’s needs and their environments, that is, having relevance and orientation to customers’ need in education and job opportunities. To achieve this goal, educational institutions have to incorporate total quality management principles whose main emphasis is totally on satisfying services to customers’ needs.Kata Kunci: Total Quality Management, kurikulum  pendidikan Islam

Abstract

The roots of Islamic education in Indonesia can be traced from the existence and role of Islamic education which have been acted before Indonesia's independence. Islamic education so that was born and developed until now, it has become an integral part of the national education system, because in the value of education and institutional Islam was born and developed before the establishment of the national education system. It appears from the role of madrasah or Islamic boarding schools in various regions in Indonesia. After independence and the national education system is established, Islamic education was later recognized as part of the sub-national education system. The enactment of Law No. 20 of 2003 on the national education system emphasized the existence of Islamic education as part of the national education Islamic education is not only a sub-national education system but has become part of the national education system.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstrak: Masyarakat Indonesia memiliki kemajemukan dan keragaman sosial, baik suku, budaya, adat istiadat, maupun agama. Keragaman ini merupakan potensi besar dalam pembangunan bangsa sekaligus menjadi potensi kerawanan konflik sosial. Setidaknya ada dua hal yang dapat dipakai dalam menengahi dan mencegah terjadinya konflik sosial di Indonesia. Pertama, peran Islam sebagai agama mayoritas yang damai. Islam dengan penganut mayoritas memiliki kontribusi yang besar dalam mencegah terjadinya konflik sosial karena Islam merupakan agama perdamaian. Islam harus menjadi rahmatan lil alamin. Kedua peran pendidikan yang humanis. Pendidikan humanis menekankan pemanusiaan manusia. Pendidikan humanis memberi keseimbangan dalam kecerdasan intelektual, emosional, sosial dan spiritual. Untuk mewujudkan konsep pendidikan yang humanis dalam resolusi konflik sosial diperlukan peran dan implementasi pendidikan multikultural dan pendidikan karakter. Keduanya diyakini dapat menjadi solusi nyata bagi konflik dan disharmoni yang terjadi di dalam masyarakat sebagai efek dari kemajemukan dan pluralitas masyarakat Indonesia. Kata Kunci : Islam, pendidikan humanis, konflik sosial, multikultural dan karakter ISLAM DAN HUMANISTIC EDUCATION IN SOCIAL CONFLICT RESOLUTION Abstract: Indonesia is a country with ethnic, culture, custom, and religion pluralism and diversity. This diversity is a great potential in the nation development as well as a potential for social conflicts. There are at least two things that can be used to mediate and prevent social conflicts in Indonesia. First, the role of Islam as the religion of the majority for peace has a great contribution to prevent social conflicts as Islam is a religion of peace. Islam should really be the mercy and kindness for the universe. The second is the role of humanistic education which emphasizes humanizing humans. Humanistic education provides a balance in the intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual intelligence. The realization of the concept of humanistic education in social conflict resolution required the role and implementation of multicultural education and character education which can be a real solution to the conflict and disharmony occurring in the society as the effect of the Indonesian society’s pluralism and diversity. Abstract

Local wisdom or in terms of fiqhi is called  al-urfis something that is a customs and traditions of a society in the form of words or deeds or things leave something .Local wisdom or tradition,which does not contradict the basic principles of the teaching of Islam may be regarded as confir med as the shari’a law. The priests madhahib many legal opinion based on the consideration of local wisdom (al-‘urf). In Indonesia there are three theories that are commonly used to keep the customary law and Islamic law ,namely:Receptio in complex theory ,Receptie theory and Receptio a contrario theory .Local wisdom has played an important role towards the establishment of Islamic law in both the establishment and enforcement of Islamic law .Some scholars deter mined requirements to make the local wisdom  (‘urf) as a source of Islamic law (1) local wisdom apply in the majority of cases occuring amongs the people and its implementation embraced by the majority community ,(2)  ‘urf existed before the emergence of cases which would set the law ,(3) local wisdom is not contrary to clearly expressed in a contract, (4) local wisdom does not conflict with nash.

Abstract

Both students and lecturers experience e-learning adoption and use hype, and it has replaced the conventional learning method due to the covid-19 outbreak.  However, it is limited known how the e-learning adoption rate is changed and improved during the covid-19 outbreak. This study conducted a monthly longitudinal survey from late March to late June 2020 to find out the e-learning adoption and use hype rate.   We randomly distributed 130 questionnaires to students and teaching staff within four faculties at State Islamic University (UIN) of Datokarama Palu.  Our study found that during the early covid-19 outbreak, e-learning was reluctantly adopted by both students and lecturers due to a lack of familiarity and technological skills. However, after the third round survey, we found that the hype of e-learning use reached its peak for both students and lectures.   In the final round survey, the lecturers' hype to adopt and use e-learning was increased to a plateau of productivity where mainstream adoption starts to take off, and e-learning has been used for more teaching productivity purposes. However, the economy's perception was becoming more challenging to students due to the higher cost of Internet connection, while institutions did not fully provide free Internet access. We also found that there is a perception of the students that e-learning is less meaningful compared to face-to-face learning mechanisms. The limitation of this study is that the study was conducted only in one Islamic higher education institution and the covid-19 outbreak is still ongoing. Therefore, further studies might be required to study more samples and more extended periods to produce more valid results.

Abstract

The presence of social media allows researchers to consider new data collection and triangulation strategies. Positivist researchers take advantage of the internet's presence as a medium for collecting data. Meanwhile, interpretive qualitative researchers have not utilized the potential provided by social media to enrich data collection in order to deepen understanding of a topic being researched. By using the case of the effectiveness of the application of e-procurement in a district, the researcher conducted face-to-face interviews (offline) and also observed discussions on social media and content sharing about the implementation and use of government e-procurement in a district. This study uses an interpretative qualitative paradigm to describe how social media exchanges, uploads, and conversations can be used as a means of collecting data in interpretive qualitative research. The results of this study indicate that social media observation can be used as a research tool to increase understanding of a topic being studied and also as a triangulation medium. This study also proves that the use of social media in interpretive studies can reduce challenges in informant recruitment, access to research sites, and reduce bias in interviews. This research contributes to the understanding of a research topic using data from two environments.Keywords:Social media, interpretif study, e-procurement effectiveness, research paradigm

Abstract

This research discusses the Internalization of Universal Religious Values ​​in developing Religious Moderation in Torue State Senior High Schools. This research examines the process of internalizing universal religious values ​​in developing religious moderation and the impact of the results of internalizing universal religious values ​​in developing religious moderation at State Senior High School Torue. This research uses a qualitative approach, and data is collected through observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and written document analysis. The results of this research show that four values are internalized in State Senior High School 1 Torue, namely, the value of justice, the value of tolerance, the value of humanity, and the value of peace. The process of internalizing universal religious values ​​is carried out through several stages. The first stage is value transformation through awareness by understanding religious values. Next, the value transaction process involves direction, guidance, and examples for students to adhere to religious values. From the results of the transinternalization carried out, students have been able to apply the universal religious values ​​that are instilled, including in the implementation of policies or regulations made by the school, providing encouragement to students to practice good values ​​in their actions, following the good examples of the students and educators, as well as creating a harmonious environment in schools. The impact of internalizing religious values ​​plays an essential role in forming the character of moderate, tolerant students who respect religious diversity, respect their elders, are disciplined, are used to differences, are used to practicing worship, are close to friends, and are socially concerned.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi, budaya organisasi, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Palu. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan gabungan antara penelitian deskriptif dan kausal melalui metode penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada seluruh ASN yang berada di lingkungan Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Palu yang berjumlah 74 responden, kemudian sampel tersebut diambil berdasarkan metode purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebar kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan melalui metode regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan bantuan software SPSS versi 16. Data yang telah memenuhi uji instrumen penelitian dan uji asumsi klasik diolah sehingga menghasilkan persamaan regresi. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji F menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel independen yang diteliti terbukti secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel dependen kinerja pegawai. Kemudian melalui uji t dapat diketahui bahwa motivasi, budaya organisasi dan, lingkungan kerja secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dan lingkungan kerja. dengan demikian ketiga variabel bebas yang diteliti secara serempak memberikan pengaruh terhadap variabel terikat yaitu kinerja pegawai sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini.
