Abstract

Kegiatan penyuluhan hukum dan penanaman pohon untuk konservasi Pantai Mangrove Desa Sei Nagalawan Perbangungan Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai ini diharapkan dapat menjadi agen pembangunan guna “menularkan” pengetahuan tentang peranan masyarakat dalam rangka pelestarian lingkungan serta arti penting lingkungan hidup bagi kehidupan manusia. Pencegahan terhadap pengrusakan lingkungan tidak hanya cukup dengan dilakukan menerapkan undang-undang termasuk penerapan sanksi pidana oleh karena masyarakat tersebut secara kultural telah terikat dengan pola-pola pemanfaatan hutan yang sejak lama mereka lakukan dan berlangsung secara turun temurun. Peserta sosialisasi memiliki peranan dalam rangka pelestarian lingkungan serta arti penting lingkungan hidup bagi kehidupan manusia

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pentingnya melestarikan lingkungan dan sumber daya hutan, selain juga menciptakan peluang ekonomi alternatif bagi warga Dusun Bahoan, Nagori Dolok Marawa Kecamatan Silou Kahean, Kabupaten Simalungun. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi observasi dan explore ecoprint. Abstract

The purpose of the study was to identify the diversity of plant types under the Eucalyptus stand and analyze the percentage of cover titled Eucalyptus Clone IND 72 and 83 against the composition of the undergrowth vegetation species in the Habinsaran sector of Toba Regency.Plot determination is done using the minimum species curve method, so that the number of PLOTS IND 72 as many as 29 plots, and IND 83 as many as 28 plots.The data taken is data on the vegetation of the undergrowth vegetatioin the form of the number and type of undergrowth vegetatio, as well as header cover data, then analyzed by calculating density, frequency, INP, and Similarity Index. There are 10 types of lower plants located in the Habinsaran Sector TPL Plant Forest of Toba Samosir Regency.The dominance of the undergrowth vegetation of each clone is occupied by boreria sp type with Important Value Index (INP) on the Stands of Eucalyptus Clone IND 72 = 67.19, and Stands Eucalyptus Clone IND 83 = 57.68.In the stands of Eucalyptus Clone IND 72 obtained a percentage of headers of 1.70% (<50%) including the category of small header cover, with a composition of undergrowth vegetation as many as 9 types, with an average density of 128.9 / ha.On the stand of Eucalytus Clone IND 83 obtained a percentage of headers of 1.80% (<50%) including the category of small header cover, with a undergrowth vegetation as many as 10 types, with an average density of 104.6/ha.

Abstract

This study aims to determine acquire data on the species composition and structure of trees, as well as to analyze the health of trees growing in the Pematangsiantar Animal Park. Using the census approach, data collection was conducted. The health state of trees was determined using the Forest Health Monitoring (FHM) method, which measures tree health by categorizing the kind and severity of damage per every plant. Two indicators are utilized to measure tree health: tree damage and tree crown condition. The method of data collection was conducted on trees with a minimum diameter of 20 centimeters. Techniques of data analysis consisting of descriptive and weighted scoring. At the Pematangsiantar Animal Park, there are 49 species of trees and a total of 153 unique trees. Mahogany (Swietenia mahagoni) is the most prevalent tree species, with 21 specimens. The health state of the trees in the Pematangsiantar Animal Park included 48 trees with a healthy status, 93 trees with bad (unhealthy) status, and 12 trees with a sick status, however none were discovered to be in a very sick condition

Abstract

One of the wealth that Indonesia has is the wealth of tourist attractions. And the majority are nature-themed attractions. Kawah Putih Tinggi Raja, is one of the nature-themed tourist attractions that is hundreds of years old, located in the area of Dolok Tinggi Raja Nature Reserve Bahoan Nagori Dolok Marawa Village, Silau Kahean District, Simalungun Regency. In order to find out the natural tourism potential of the Tinggi Raja area, it is necessary to carry out practical assessment activities for the Tinggi Raja natural tourism area. In the discussion with the Focus Group Disscusion (FGD) model, various information emerged from the training participants in exploring the potential of nature that can be used as a tourist attraction in Nagori Dolok Marawa. Furthermore, it is assessed the potential of these natural tourism to be packaged as part of the Tinggi Raja natural tourism

Abstract

Economic losses due to wood damage by wood destruction factors in buildings in Indonesia have reached billions of rupiah every year. Surveys in several major cities, Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung and other major cities show that generally residential buildings are particularly vulnerable to being attacked by wood-destroying organisms. To prevent or reduce economic losses due to wood damage by wood destruction factors in buildings especially housing, it is necessary to take a preventive measure that is a preservation measure by providing preservatives, especially on wood materials as well as handling to overcome wood components that have been damaged.

Abstract

The target of the research is to find out the existing conditions of honey bee cultivation business management and to determine the management strategy set based on existing conditions of TAKOMA Farmer Groups in Sait Buttu Saribu, Sidamanik District, Simalungun Regency. The data retrieved is primary data and secondary data. Through direct interviews using questionnaires of 17 honey bee farmers, primary data were obtained As for the secondary data obtained from literaure. Research analysis, namely descriptive analysis using SWOT analysis techniques. The existing condition of managing the honey bee cultivation business of the TAKOMA Farmer Group is that the business has high strength so that it runs well, does not have any significant weaknesses from the internal aspect, has taken advantage of opportunities from external factors aimed at improving cultivation efforts, and experiencing meaningful threats that can be improved from the aspect of work resilience. The strategy set in the framework of business development is to maintain and maintain the internal strengths owned and make good use of the opportunities that are already owned and also suppressing as small as possible the threats that can cause the failure of the TAKOMA farmer group's honey bee cultivation development efforts.
