Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan dalam transportasi adalah kecelakaan lalulintas. Kecelakaan diartikan sebagai tiap kejadian yang tidak direncanakan dan tidak terkontrol yang dapat disebabkan oleh manusia, situasi, faktor lingkungan, ataupun kombinasi dari hal hal tersebut yang mengganggu proses kerja otak dan dapat menimbulkan cidera ataupun tidak, kesakitan, kematian, kerusakan property ataupun kejadian yang tidak diinginkan lainnya, sehingga kecelakaan lalulintas merupakan indikator utama tingkat keselamatan jalan raya. Jalan dengan kelengkapan fasilitas keselamatan (road safety) baik dalam bentuk marka, rambu, delineator, guardrail dan sebagainya dibangun untuk memberikan tingkat keselamatan yang tinggi bagi pengguna jalan, namun kurangnya kepedulian masyarakat (pengendara) terhadap keselamatan berlalulintas di jalan raya, mengakibatkan fasilitas tersebut menjadi sia sia belaka. Berdasarkan data dari Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia Daerah Nusa Tenggara Barat Resor Lombok Barat, terlihat bahwa dari tahun 2021- 2022 kecelakaan dan pelanggaran yang melibatkan sepeda motor cukup tinggi, dimana jumlah kecelakaan dan pelanggaran lalulintas yang melibatkan sepeda motor sampai lebih dari 85% (>85%) dan melibatkan pengendara sepeda motor dengan usia 16 – 29 tahun mencapai 67%. Hal ini memberikan indikasi bahwa ketidak-tertiban dari sikap pengendara sepeda motor di ruas jalan yang cendrung dapat mengganggu kendaraan lain, serta dapat berpotensi untuk menyebabkan kejadian kecelakaan dan pelanggaran lalulintas dari tahun ke tahun cukup signifikan, baik dari sisi jumlah kejadian maupun dari tingkat kejadiannya. Pengendara dengan usia 16 – 29 tahun ini adalah kelompok remaja, pemuda atau pelajar, sehingga sasaran pelaksanaan kegiatan dengan memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan tentang etos budaya tertib dan etos keselamatan berlalulintas di jalan raya bagi kelompok pelajar (SMA) harus terus disampaikan secara berkesinambungan agar pelanggaran dalam berkendaraan dijalan raya yang berdampak pada kecelakaan dapat diminimalisir. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di SMA N.01 Kediri Kabupaten Lombok Barat, sebagai salah satu upaya dalam rangka pencapaian peningkatan rasa kesadaran berkeselamatan di jalan yang lebih baik dapat dicapai, sehingga secara tidak langsung terciptanya tertib berlalulintas di wilayah Kabupaten Lombok Barat dapat terwujud

Abstract

SDN 1 Tampah dan SMPN8 Satap adalah dua sekolah dalam satu atap yang ada di Dusun Tampah Desa Mekar Sari, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Lokasi sekolah ini berdekatan dengan pantai Selatan Lombok yang rawan gempa disertai tsunami. Jumlah siswa yang banyak dan keadaan gedung sekolah yang mulai rusak menambah tingkat kerawanan sekolah ini jika sewaktu-waktu terjadi gempa dan tsunami. Hal ini menunjukkan betapa pentingnya dilakukan pembekalan untuk peningkatan kesiapsiagaan siswa dan guru melalui penyuluhan dan simulasi. Kegiatan penyuluhan dan simulasi bekerjasama dengan BPBD Kabupaten Lombok Tengah dengan khalayak sasaran siswa kelas 6 SD dan seluruh siswa SMP serta para guru. Kegiatan berlangsung dengan lancar dan tertib, dan diikuti dengan penuh antusias oleh guru dan siswa. Kegiatan ini telah memberikan pengetahuan dasar tentang cara menyelamatkan diri jika gempa terjadi saat di sekolah. Baik para guru maupun siswa sangat merasakan manfaat dari kegiatan ini dan bertambah pengetahuan dan kesiapsiagaannya menghadapi bencana gempa dan tsunami.

Abstract

The Samota Road access development project continued in Sumbawa Regency is one part of the Samota area development project which acts as access to mobilization and supports the acceleration of development, economy, social and culture. In large-scale road works, heavy equipment is needed to facilitate work in a relatively shorter time. Errors in the operating time of heavy equipment and differences in the work field will affect cycle time and have an impact on productivity. This study aims to determine the amount of heavy equipment cycle time, heavy equipment productivity, and the effect of cycle time on heavy equipment productivity. The methods used in this research are time study and correlation methods. The time study method is a measurement of work by collecting data based on the time needed to complete a job so that productivity can be calculated, while the correlation method is an analysis to determine the level of relationship between the independent variable (X) and the dependent variable (Y).Based on data analysis, the value of cycle time, productivity and the effect of cycle time on heavy equipment productivity were obtained. In segment 1, the cycle time of the motor grader is 303,247 seconds with a productivity of 916,037 m2/hour and the cycle time of the vibratory roller is 612,345 seconds with a productivity of 1061,400 m3/hour. For the effect of cycle time on the productivity of the motor grader, the correlation test result is 0,986 and the vibratory roller is 0,999. In segment 4, the motor grader cycle time is 316,107 seconds with a productivity of 831,112 m2/ hour and the vibratory roller cycle time is 655,370 seconds with a productivity of 988,200 m3/hour. For the effect of cycle time on motor grader productivity, the correlation test results were obtained at 0,975 and vibratory roller at 0,999. In both segments, there is a very strong influence and relationship between variable X (cycle time) and variable Y (productivity).

Abstract

The city of Mataram, the center of trade, offices, and education, experienced an increase in population and vehicles. The 2023 data recorded 441.147 thousand residents and 385,579 motor vehicles. The increase in traffic volume on road Majapahit has an impact on traffic performance and vehicle operating costs. The study entitled " Analysis Of Vehicle Operational Costs Based On Average Travel Speed On Jalan Majapahit Mataram City" was conducted to further understand the condition of road section performance and the Operating Cost of Vehicles passing through the road. The MKJI method is a calculation standard used to analyze the performance of road sections, assess capacity and service levels, based on traffic volume and road geometry. while to calculate BOK (Vehicle Operating Costs) used an equation method developed by the PCI 1989 method to measure vehicle costs, including fixed costs and non-fixed costs, which are influenced by the average speed of travel. The results of the study on the Majapahit road section show the service level of the Majapahit road section in category C. For the calculation of the free flow speed, namely 52.68 km / h (east) and 49.10 km / h (west). The speed of the eastbound peak clock is 48 km/h and the westward is 42 km/h. While the calculation results of BOK Group I (Eastward) Free Flow Speed Rp1.049,- / km, Peak Hour Speed Rp1.082,- /km. Group I (West) Free Flow Speed Rp1.072,- /km, Peak Hour Speed Rp1.163,- /km. Group IIA (Eastward) Peak Hour Speed Rp2.921,- /km, Peak Hour Speed Rp3.007,- /km. Group IIA (Westward) Free Flow Speed Rp2.980,- /km, Peak hour speed Rp3.235,- /km

Abstract

Traffic accidents in Mataram City increase every year. Over the last 4 years, Mataram City Police data shows that traffic accidents, one of the transportation problems, have increased quite significantly. To overcome this transportation problem, efforts are needed to reduce/minimize the number of accidents and one way that can be done is by determining areas prone to traffic accidents (black spots) in Mataram City so that transportation safety can be improved. Data from the Mataram City Police in the form of accident data is needed to determine areas prone to traffic accidents (Black spot). Next, the data was analyzed using the Accident Equivalent Number (AEK) parameters and the Upper Control Limit (UCL) method so that black spots could be arranged in Mataram City. The analysis results show that the accident-prone sections (black spots) in Mataram City are the Jln. Sriwijaya, Jalan Pejanggik, Jalan Sandubaya, Jln. Dr. Sudjono, Jalan Adi Sucipto, Jln. Catur Warga, and Jln. Ahmad Yani. Based on the type of accident, the highest was single hit (74%) and front-side crash (73%), the weather when the accident occurred was highest in sunny conditions (98%) at night, and the most people who had accidents were men. amounting to 74%, while the age range of 16-30 years is most often involved in accidents.

Abstract

Traffic flow consists from various types of vehicles, and it requires a conversion value to represent the traffic flow more accurately in terms of the standard vehicle type, namely passenger cars, commonly referred to as Passenger Car Units (PCU). The conversion factor from different types of vehicles to passenger cars is called Passenger Car Equivalence (PCE). In calculating road capacity in Indonesia, the PCE value used refers to Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997.In this study, a method called the time headway method is used to determine the Passenger Car Equivalence (PCE) value. This method involves recording the convoy of vehicle pairs per green time. The time headway value is obtained from the time difference between two vehicles passing a reference line, which is the stop line, calculated from the front bumper of the preceding vehicle to the front bumper of the following vehicle.Based on the research results, the PCE value using the Time Headway method for motorcycles (MC) at a three-phase intersection located at the signalized intersection of Panca Usaha Street - Bung Hatta Street is 0.57. Meanwhile, at a four-phase intersection located at the signalized intersection of Dr. Sujono Street - TGH Lopan Street, the PCE values for motorcycles (MC) and heavy vehicles (HV) are 0.34 and 2.23, respectively. There are differences in PCE values between MKJI 1997 and the results of the Time Headway method calculation for protected-type signalized intersections, which are 0.2 for motorcycles (MC) and 1.3 for heavy vehicles (HV). These differences occur due to changes in field conditions, such as an increase in the number of vehicles in the intersection arms and changes in green time at intersections

Abstract

The most popular modes of transportation on the crossing from Bangsal Harbor to Gili Indah are public boats and fast boats. The respective advantages and disadvantages of these two modes are that fast boats excel in fast travel times, while public boats excel in cheaper travel costs. The aim of this research is to obtain factors that influence passengers' decisions in choosing a mode, to find out user characteristics and to obtain the probability that passengers choose public boats and fast boats.Data was obtained from the results of a questionnaire using the stated preference method which offers 7 change scenarios and related choices such as cost (X1), travel time (X2), and waiting time (X3) regarding the choice of public boat and fast boat modes (Y). The results of the choices of public boat and fast boat users will be known through the proportion of public interest in each scenario. Factors that influence mode choice can be identified using multiple linear regression analysis. Then a binary logit analysis of the difference is carried out to obtain the probability of mode choice. The research results show that the utility function equation is Y = -0.3864 – 0.04299X1 – 0.06177X2 – 0.02577X3. Factors that influence passengers' decisions in choosing public and fast boats are cost (X1), travel time (X2), and waiting time (X3). Using the binary logit difference method, the probability of choosing the mode for the Bangsal-Gili Indah crossing route is public boat 79% and fast boat 21%.

Abstract

Traffic accidents are events that often occur in everyday life and cause fatalities. Of course, every road user wants to avoid these accidents, but sometimes these traffic accidents occur due to poor road infrastructure or negligence of the road users themselves. Data from traffic accidents at the Central Lombok District Police, information was obtained that over the last 5 years there has been an increase in the number of traffic accidents.This research was conducted to determine accident-prone locations and prepare a Geographic Information System-based database. From the data from the Central Lombok Police, in the form of accident data for the last 5 years, it was analyzed using a weighting method with the Accident Equivalent Number parameters and the Upper Control Limit method so that a Geographic Information System-based accident-prone location database program was compiled in Central Lombok Regency.The results of the analysis and database preparation showed that accident-prone locations in Central Lombok Regency are located on the BIL Bypass road, Praya-Mantang Highway and Mataram-Sikur Highway, which are dominated by the front-on collision type with the highest age of accident victims aged 16-30. years with 66.4% male and 33.6% female. The highest number of accidents occurs in the morning and the highest in sunny weather at 95.5%. By determining the location of these accident-prone areas, it is hoped that this can provide information in decision making for policy holders to reduce the number of accidents in Central Lombok Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between science process skills, cognitive abilities, and students' caring attitudes in the context of project-based learning in the Independent Curriculum era. The project implemented is the processing of plastic waste into eco-friendly bricks stools, which is also part of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Program with the theme of a sustainable lifestyle. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Data were obtained from 86 seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 16 Mataram. The research instruments included a science process skills test, a cognitive ability test, and a caring attitude questionnaire. The results of the Pearson Correlation test showed that science process skills had a significant relationship with cognitive ability (r = 0.992). The results of the Kendall's tau-b Correlation test showed that science process skills had a significant relationship with caring attitude (τb = 0.798) and caring attitude had a significant relationship with cognitive ability (τb = 0.889). In other words, it can be said that project-based learning can improve science process skills and cognitive ability while building a character of caring attitude towards the environment. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of project-based learning in the Independent Curriculum, such as making stools from eco-friendly bricks, has a positive impact on developing science process skills and cognitive abilities as well as students' caring attitudes. Project-based learning can be an alternative innovative model to be implemented at various levels of education so that efforts are needed to train teachers in implementing this learning model, and support from schools and government policies to improve the sustainability of environmental-based education.
