Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi awal anak usia dini di Sanggar Keadilan SMH-Indonesia melalui pengenalan huruf berbasis multimedia menggunakan website interaktif. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah perlunya inovasi dalam metode pengajaran yang lebih menarik dan sesuai dengan era digital, di mana anak-anak lebih tertarik pada pendekatan interaktif. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan anak-anak dapat lebih mudah mengenal huruf dan mengembangkan minat belajar, sementara tenaga pengajar memperoleh keterampilan dalam menggunakan teknologi sebagai alat bantu pengajaran. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan hasil yang positif, dengan peningkatan kemampuan anak-anak dan tenaga pengajar, serta harapan untuk kelanjutan dan pengembangan program ini agar dapat memberikan dampak yang lebih luas di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan aksesibilitas informasi dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pembangunan desa. Desa Ujung Batu III, yang memiliki visi untuk mencapai kesejahteraan yang lebih baik, memerlukan sarana komunikasi yang efektif untuk menyampaikan informasi dan potensi desa. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, perencanaan dan desain website, pengembangan, pelatihan masyarakat, serta peluncuran dan evaluasi website. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan perangkat desa serta warga terkait penggunaan website, dengan indikator penilaian yang mencakup pemahaman fungsi website, kemampuan mengakses, dan penggunaan fitur interaktif. Dengan adanya website informasi desa, masyarakat kini dapat mengakses informasi penting secara digital, berpartisipasi dalam pengelolaan sumber daya desa, dan meningkatkan kesadaran akan potensi desa. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini tidak hanya berhasil dalam pembuatan website, tetapi juga memperkuat partisipasi masyarakat dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan, menjadikannya alat yang penting untuk komunikasi dan informasi di Desa Ujung Batu III.

Abstract

Pelatihan digital marketing ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan pemasaran online bagi UD. Kreasi Lutvi, sebuah usaha mikro yang memproduksi kripik. Melalui pendekatan praktis dan interaktif, pelatihan mencakup sosialisasi konsep digital marketing, workshop pembuatan konten promosi, pengelolaan media sosial, dan pembuatan website sederhana. Hasilnya, UD. Kreasi Lutvi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam aktivitas media sosial, kualitas konten, interaksi dengan konsumen, dan penjualan yang naik 30% dalam satu bulan. Pelatihan ini membuktikan bahwa strategi digital marketing yang tepat dapat meningkatkan visibilitas, brand awareness, dan penjualan produk. Ke depannya, diharapkan pelatihan serupa dapat diadopsi oleh usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) lainnya untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal di era digital. Dengan komitmen dan inovasi berkelanjutan, UMKM diharapkan mampu berkontribusi pada kemajuan perekonomian secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

Di era digital, website menjadi alat penting untuk meningkatkan visibilitas dan kredibilitas bisnis. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan membantu PT. Global Andalas Cargotama dalam mengembangkan website sebagai media promosi dan layanan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Website dikembangkan menggunakan framework Bootstrap dengan fitur-fitur seperti profil perusahaan, layanan, portofolio, dan kontak. Hasilnya, website berhasil meningkatkan visibilitas perusahaan dan memberikan tampilan yang responsif di berbagai perangkat. Pelatihan yang diberikan kepada karyawan juga memastikan bahwa perusahaan dapat mengelola website secara mandiri. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya memberikan manfaat bagi perusahaan, tetapi juga berkontribusi bagi masyarakat dengan meningkatkan akses informasi tentang layanan pengiriman barang. Rekomendasi untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut meliputi pembaruan konten berkala dan integrasi fitur e-commerce. Secara keseluruhan, website ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alat yang efektif dalam mendukung pertumbuhan bisnis perusahaan di era digital.

Abstract

This research explores the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in diagnosing students' learning needs and creating a more inclusive educational environment. Employing a mixed-methods approach, data were collected through surveys, interviews, and analysis of existing AI systems. The results indicate that AI has significant potential in identifying patterns in students' academic performance and learning preferences. Notably, 75% of students reported that AI aids their learning process, with average scores increasing from 70 to 85 after implementing AI systems. Additionally, 70% of students experienced enhanced engagement in their learning activities. However, challenges such as data privacy and algorithmic bias must be addressed. The study recommends collaboration among educators, technology developers, and researchers to create AI systems that are responsive to diverse learning needs. With the right approach, AI can serve as a powerful tool to improve learning outcomes and foster a more equitable and inclusive educational environment for all students. This research highlights the transformative potential of AI in education while emphasizing the importance of ethical considerations and stakeholder involvement in its implementation.

Abstract

The training on designing website prototypes using Figma is an important step in introducing students of SMK Swasta Free Methodist Medan to the exciting and innovative world of web design. This research aims to explore the effectiveness of this training in improving their understanding of web design as well as their ability to design attractive website prototypes. The training method uses a hands-on approach, allowing students to be actively involved in the learning process. With the guidance of experienced instructors, students are invited to understand the basic concepts of web design, the use of Figma design tools, and techniques for designing effective prototypes. The results showed that the training successfully improved students' understanding of web design and their ability to use Figma to design website prototypes. In addition, students also showed improvement in their creativity in designing layouts, choosing colors, and adjusting design elements. In conclusion, the training on designing website prototypes using Figma was effective in introducing students of SMK Swasta Free Methodist Medan to the concept of attractive web design as well as improving their ability in designing creative and functional website prototypes. This kind of training has the potential to prepare students for careers in web design or web application development in the future.

Abstract

Abstract: The conventional hamlet head election system in Simpang Tiga Village, Langkat, is often inefficient, time-consuming, and prone to errors, leading to decreased public participation and trust. This Community Partnership Program (PKM) aimed to design and build a website-based e-voting system featuring interactive multimedia to increase participation, transparency, and efficiency, while also empowering the local youth organization (Karang Taruna) as local digital agents. The method used was participatory action research, actively involving the partner through four stages: planning, acting, observing & evaluating, and reflecting. The implementation results showed significant success: voter participation drastically increased from 55% to 88%, public trust in the election process rose from 50% to 87%, and the election process duration was successfully reduced from 2-3 days to just 5 hours. Furthermore, the Karang Taruna partner demonstrated a technical mastery level of 87.5%.  Keyword: e-voting; community empowerment; action research; interactive multimedia; smart village. Abstrak: Sistem pemilihan kepala dusun konvensional di Desa Simpang Tiga, Langkat, cenderung tidak efisien, memakan waktu, dan rentan terhadap kesalahan yang menyebabkan partisipasi serta kepercayaan publik menurun. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem e-voting berbasis website dengan multimedia interaktif guna meningkatkan partisipasi, transparansi, dan efisiensi pemilihan, sekaligus memberdayakan Karang Taruna sebagai agen digital lokal. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan partisipatif yang melibatkan mitra secara aktif dalam empat tahapan: perencanaan, tindakan, observasi & evaluasi, dan refleksi. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan keberhasilan signifikan: partisipasi pemilih meningkat drastis dari 55% menjadi 88%, kepercayaan publik terhadap proses pemilihan naik dari 50% menjadi 87%, dan durasi proses pemilihan berhasil dipersingkat dari 2-3 hari menjadi hanya 5 jam. Selain itu, mitra Karang Taruna menunjukkan tingkat penguasaan teknis sistem sebesar 87,5%.

Abstract

Technological developments are happening so fast, one of which is website technology. So that people are required to follow the development of these technologies. However, most of our people still do not understand or understand technology which makes it difficult to achieve the industrial revolution 4.0. In fact, many IT graduates do not have the skills needed by the industry today. Therefore the author carries out community service with the target of SMK students where skills improvement must be carried out as quickly as possible before they enter the world of lectures or the world of work. This activity is training on building a portfolio website using the bootstrap v5.3 framework, which starts from an introduction (basic) to produce the desired website product. The results of this training activity were that the participants were very enthusiastic, motivated, and all succeeded in building a portfolio website as taught with very good results.

Abstract

Introduction to Website Structure, Tools, and Web Developer Careers is a community service activity carried out at the Jambi Medan Private Vocational School. This activity aims to provide basic knowledge about website development to SMK students, introduce tools and tools used by Web Developers, and discuss potential careers in this field. Activity methods include preparation of plans, introductions, presentations, demonstrations, making portfolios, discussions, and evaluations. This activity was held at a school location involving 20 students as participants. The results and discussion show that this activity had a positive impact on the participants. They gain a basic understanding of website structure and tools used in web development. The motivation to learn more in the field of web development has also increased, and this course provides an initial guide to building simple websites. Students feel better prepared to enter the technological world of work with potential careers as Web Developers or Web Designers. This activity helps them in preparing themselves for a future that is more connected with technology.

Abstract

Training in the field of website design using Figma has been conducted for male and female students of Private Vocational High School (SMK) Jambi Medan. The objective of this training is to provide a fundamental understanding and skills in designing layout and visual aspects of websites using the collaborative design tool, Figma. The training method involves a series of practical sessions that focus on introducing Figma, basic web design concepts, layout principles, effective use of colors and typography, as well as the implementation of interactive elements. Step-by-step guidance is given to the students in creating website designs from scratch to completion, including collaborative team processes to enhance their creativity and understanding of responsive and aesthetic design. The results of this training demonstrate an improved understanding among the students of the fundamental concepts of web design and practical proficiency in using Figma. They are capable of producing simple website designs with well-structured layouts, appropriate color choices, and suitable typography. Furthermore, the students are also capable of implementing interactive elements such as links, buttons, and dropdown menus in their designs. In conclusion, the website design training using Figma provides significant benefits for students of Private Vocational High School Jambi Medan. They have acquired foundational knowledge and practical skills in creating appealing and responsive website designs, potentially opening new opportunities in the realms of design and technology.
