Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui validitas pengembangan bahan ajar pada materi larutan penyangga kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Solor Selatan, dan untuk mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap bahan ajar pada materi larutan penyangga yang telah dikembangkan kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Solor Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) yang terdiri dari beberapa tahap yakni potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, pengembangan produk awal, validasi desain, revisi bahan ajar hasil validasi dan uji coba terbatas. Adapun hasil validasi dari ahli yang diperoleh, yaitu untuk aspek materi dengan persentase sebesar 85.29% dengan kategori sangat valid, aspek media dengan persentase sebesar 100% dengan kategori sangat valid, dan untuk uji coba terbatas yang dilakukan diperoleh persentase sebesar 92.04% dari 23 peserta didikdengan kategori sangat baik Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of the development of teaching materials in the buffer solution material for class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 South Solor, and to determine the respons of students to teaching materials in the buffer solution material that had been developed in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 South Solor. The research method used is the research and development method which consists of several stages, namely potential and problems, data collection, initial product development, design validation, revision of validation teaching materials, and limited trials. As for the validation results from the experts obtained, namely for the material aspect with a percentage of 85.29% with a very valid category, the media aspect with a percentage of 100% with a very valid category, and for a limited trial conducted, a percentage of 92.04% was obtained from 23 students, with a very good category.

Abstract

Sains merupakan ilmu yang berkembang dengan cara eksperimental dan mengandung banyak pengetahuan deklaratif yang dapat dipelajari oleh peserta didik sebagai kajian teoritis prosedural yang dipelajari melalui kegiatan praktikum-praktikum IPA. Kemampuan literasi sains merupakan kemampuan seseorang menerapkan pengetahuannya untuk mengidentifikasi pertanyaan, mengkonstruksi pengetahuan baru, memberikan penjelasan secara ilmiah, mengambil kesimpulan berdasarkan bukti- bukti ilmiah, dan kemampuan mengembangkan pola pikir reflektif sehingga mampu berpartisipasi dalam mengatasi isu-isu dan gagasan-gagasan terkait sains. Salah satu upaya penguatan kemampuan literasi sains yang dapat diterapkan pada peserta didik di satuan pendidikan jenjang SMP yaitu melalui kegiatan praktikum IPA sederhana. Kegiatan praktikum menggunakan alat dan bahan sederhana yang mudah ditemukan di sekitar peserta didik merupakan usaha sadar yang dapat menarik keingintahuan peserta didik serta memperkuat pemahaman terhadap ilmu yang konkret melalui percobaan-percobaan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penguatan literasi sains melalui praktikum IPA sederhana yang berkaitan dengan konsep IPA yang dipelajari. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan analisis data diketahui persentase rata-rata ketercapaian kemampuan literasi sains yang diperoleh melalui praktikum IPA  sederhana yakni 76,46% dan tergolong dalam kategori sedang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of environment-based learning modules in learning chemistry learning colloidal system material, to determine the learning outcomes of students for knowledge aspects after using environment-based learning modules in learning chemistry learning colloidal system material and to determine the response of students to environment-based learning modules in class XI SMA Negeri 2 Kuwus. The research method used in this research is the development research method (Research & Development) with Sugiyono's development model and is carried out only until the product trial stage. The instruments used in this study were validation, sheets, student learning outcomes sheets and student response questionnaires. The results of this study are the results of material expert validation classified as feasible with an average percentage of 86%, the results of media expert validation classified as feasible with a percentage of 90%, student responses after using the developed environment-based learning module classified as good with a percentage of 91% and student learning outcomes after using the developed environment-based learning module included in the complete category with an average value of 87.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the validity of the Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on the local potential of acid-base material, to find out the learning outcomes of students after using the Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on the local potential of acid-base material that was developed, to find out the response of students to the Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on the local potential of acid-base material that was developed. This type of research is research and development (Research & Development). The instruments used in this research were validation sheets, test sheets, and student response questionnaires. The material expert validation results obtained were in the valid category with a percentage of 82%, the media expert validation results obtained were in the very valid category with a percentage of 86%, the student learning outcomes for the knowledge (KI-3) and skills (KI-4) aspects were declared complete with the overall average completeness of learning outcomes obtained from 20 students being 86.3, and the percentage of student responses obtained was 91%.

Abstract

Learning motivation is a drive or force that encourages an individual to take action to achieve a specific goal. The main objectives of this study, to determine the effectiveness of the Discovery Learning, to determine the level of students’ learning motivation, to find out the relationship between learning motivation and students’ learning outcomes, to determine the influence of learning motivation on students’ learning outcomes. This research was descriptive and associative in nature. The sample consists of 26 students from Grade XI MIA 2 at SMAN 1 Adonara Barat. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, and tests. This study found that learning using the Discovery Learning approach is effective, indicated by: (a) teachers’ ability to manage the learning process is rated good, (b) mastery of learning outcomes for Core Competencies 3 and 4 is achieved, (c) mastery of indicators in Core Competencies 3 and 4 is also achieved. The learning motivation is categorized as strong. There is a relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes. Learning motivation influences students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of teachers in managing learning that applies the discovery learning approach, the completeness of student learning outcomes, the completeness of indicators, and the improvement of student learning outcomes in terms of applying the discovery learning approach. The results of the study showed that the ability of teachers in managing learning that applies the discovery learning approach on colloid material for class XI IPA SMAN 2 Kota Komba is classified as good with an average score obtained of 3.97; The overall learning outcomes of students on colloid material in learning that applies the discovery learning approach SMAN 2 Kota Komba are complete with an average final score obtained of 86; The learning outcome indicators of students in learning that applies the discovery learning approach for class XI IPA SMAN 2 Kota Komba are complete with an average score of 0.96; there is an increase in student learning outcomes in applying the discovery learning approach for class XI IPA SMAN 2 Kota Komba which is high with an average score of 0.73.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan memperkenalkan dan mempraktikkan pemanfaatan pigmen tumbuhan lokal sebagai indikator pH dalam eksperimen kimia kepada siswa SMA Kristen Maktihan, Besikama, Timor-Nusa Tenggara Timur. Sekolah ini belum memiliki laboratorium kimia serta keterbatasan alat dan bahan praktikum, sehingga pembelajaran kimia jarang disertai eksperimen. Kegitan pembelajaran yang dilakukan berbasis eksperimen menggunakan sumber pigmen lokal yakni pigmen rimpang kunyit, daun bayam merah, bunga kencana ungu, dan umbi ubi jalar ungu sebagai salah satu sumber belajar. Keempat pigmen ini diuji dalam larutan sampel hahan kimia rumah tangga diantaranya sampo, sabun mandi, soda kue, detergen, kapur siri, cuka dan jeruk nipis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan setiap pigmen memiliki respon warna berbeda dalam setiap sampel (berdasarkan sifat keasaman/pH). Kegiatan ini meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, keterampilan ilmiah (kemampuan mengamati, mengklasifikasi, mengukur, dan mengkomunikasikan hasil),  menumbuhkan sikap ilmiah, rasa ingin tahu, dan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) evaluate the validity of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL)-based Student Worksheet (LKPD) used in chemistry teaching, particularly on the topic of Colligative Properties of Solutions; (2) evaluate learning outcomes in terms of knowledge and skills among 11th grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Titehena after using PBL-based LKPD; and (3) analyze student responses to the developed LKPD media. This study used a research and development design, involving a sample of 11 students from class XI MIA 2. The tools used included a PBL-based LKPD validation sheet, a learning outcome assessment sheet for KI-3 and KI-4 competencies, and a student response questionnaire. The data analysis techniques applied included: LKPD Media Validity Analysis, Learning Mastery Analysis, and Student Response Analysis. The results of the study show that: (1) the PBL-based Student Worksheet (LKPD) developed by the researcher is found to be highly valid and suitable for use; (2) students achieved learning mastery with an average score of 95; and (3) student responses to learning using PBL-based LKPD media were categorized as very positive, with a percentage score of 94%.ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengevaluasi validitas Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Problem-Based Learning (PBL) yang digunakan dalam pengajaran kimia, khususnya pada topik Sifat Koligatif Larutan; (2) mengevaluasi hasil belajar dalam hal pengetahuan dan keterampilan di kalangan siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Titehena setelah menggunakan LKPD berbasis PBL; dan (3) menganalisis tanggapan siswa terhadap media LKPD yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pengembangan (Research and Development), melibatkan sampel 11 siswa dari kelas XI MIA 2. Alat yang digunakan meliputi lembar validasi LKPD berbasis PBL, lembar penilaian hasil belajar untuk kompetensi KI-3 dan KI-4, serta kuesioner tanggapan siswa. Teknik analisis data yang diterapkan meliputi: Analisis Validitas Media LKPD, Analisis Penguasaan Belajar, dan Analisis Tanggapan Siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKPD) berbasis PBL yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti ditemukan sangat valid dan layak digunakan; (2) siswa mencapai penguasaan hasil belajar dengan skor rata-rata 95; dan (3) tanggapan siswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan media LKPD berbasis PBL dikategorikan sangat positif, dengan skor persentase 94%.

Abstract

As a partner school, SMAN 3 Kupang Tmur, which is located in Kupang Regency, NTT Province, has several problems experienced by teachers and students for chemistry subjects, namely limited and inadequate laboratory equipment, the need for very minimal and insufficient practical materials so that activities Practicums are very rarely carried out due to the very expensive cost of materials, the unavailability of good and clear practicum guides, limited time availability from teachers due to the absence of laboratory assistants, and also insufficient laboratory space. Seeing these obstacles, in this activity teachers and students need to be provided with introductory chemistry practical activities because through practical activities they can increase students' knowledge and can provide illustrations or introduce important concepts of chemistry, train students to improve their reasoning, imagination and thinking skills. rational in seeking the truth, training students to apply scientific attitudes such as curiosity, perseverance, thoroughness, caution, objectivity, in dealing with all problems so that they do not easily believe in something that is not certain to be true, and making students more active in thinking and acting in their efforts search for truth or evidence of a theory being studied. Seeing the problems above and remembering how important practicum activities are in learning chemistry, practicum activities in schools will continue. The result of this activity is an increase in laboratory management skills and process skills by the students of SMAN 3 East Kupang.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA berbasis praktikum dapat disebut sebagai salah satu cara untuk mencapai hasil belajar peserta didik karena pembelajaran IPA berbasis praktikum memiliki kontribusi terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dalam ranah psikomotorik. Di dalam kegiatan praktikum sangat dimungkinkan adanya penerapan beragam keterampilan proses sains sekaligus pengembangan sikap ilmiah yang mendukung proses perolehan pengetahuan (produk keilmuan) dalam diri peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru IPA SMP Negeri 18 Kupang, pembelajaran selama ini lebih difokuskan pada pemahaman kognitif sedangkan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik kurang diasah melalui praktikum IPA sehingga keterampilan proses sains peserta didik khususnya kelas VIIA dan VIIB masih rendah. Hal ini disebabkan oleh keterbatasan alat dan bahan praktikum di sekolah. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut maka peserta didik perlu dilibatkan secara aktif dalam pembelajaran berbasis praktikum. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melatih keterampilan proses sains peserta didik SMP Negeri 18 Kupang melalui kegiatan praktikum IPA terpadu. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini yakni metode praktikum/eksperimen dan diskusi. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah keterampilan proses sains peserta didik menjadi lebih baik melalui praktikum IPA Terpadu dengan persentase rata-rata kemunculan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik kelas VIIA dan VIIB berturut-turut adalah 81,67% (baik) dan 81,25% (baik). Respon peserta didik terhadap kegiatan praktikum IPA Terpadu baik, dengan persentase rata-rata yang diperoleh dari angket respon peserta didik berturut-turut adalah 85,41% dan 88,02%.
