Abstract

Abstract: The focus of this research is to design Android application game as a tool to support the students in listening comprehension. This research was conducted on the class A seventh grade students of MTsN 1 Pontianak. The method of this research is development research which consist of five phases; analysis, design, develop, implement and evaluation or called ADDIE. This material was designed as supplementary material to support listening comprehension in describing people. In this research found that listen to me game can support listening comprehension in describing people for seventh grade students of MTs N 1 Pontianak. This research uses design phase to determine the learner role, teacher role, instructional media role and prepare some material such as picture, audio, and game maker studio program to create the application. In the development phase, the researcher creates the application from the material that already gathered from design phase. To try out and see the usability of the product the researcher uses implementation phase. The result of evaluation phase is 4.64, it showed that the game is feasible to be used by students as supplementary material to support listening comprehension in describing people. Key words: Development Research, Listening Material, Designing Material Abstrak: Penelitian ini fokus untuk mendesign aplikasi game di Android sebagai materi listening untuk membantu siswa pada materi pembelajaran describing people. Penelitian ini diadakan di kelas 7A MTs N 1 Pontianak. Metode penelitian ini adalah development research yang terdiri dari 5 fase yaitu: Analisis, desain, pengembangan, implement dan evaluasi atau disebut ADDIE. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa listen to me game dapat digunaka untuk materi describing people untuk siswa kelas 7 MTs N 1 Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan tahap design untuk menentukan peran siswa, peran guru dan peran media pembelajaran dan menyiapkan beberapa bahan ajar seperti gambar, audio dan aplikasi game maker studio untuk membuat game di Android. Pada tahap development, peneliti membuat aplikasi dari bahan yang sudah dikumpulkan dari tahap design. Untuk mencoba dan melihat kegunaa produk peneiti menggunakan tahap implementasi. Hasil dari tahap evaluasi adalah 4,6; yang menunjukan bahwa aplikasi game yang dibuat layak digunakan oleh siswa sebagai materi tambahan untuk listening dalam topik describing people. Abstract

Styrofoam is a thermoplastic polymer that cannot be biodegradable. Styrofoam waste is generally treated using burning method which produce a dangerous gases. Cracking is the right method to solve the problem by converting styrofoam waste into liquid fuel. In this study, the cracking process was carried out by catalytic cracking method using zeolit alam, SiO2.Al2O3 dan Ï’-Al2O3 as a catalyst. The aims of this study are to determine the effect of the number of catalyst and temperature variation on the percentage of yield, physical properties and compound content of liquid fuel. Variabels varied are the number of catalyst 5-25% from total reactants and temperatur variation 300-550 oC. The result shows, the highest %yield using zeolit alam is 77,7846% at 20% catalyst, for silica alumina with variations of temperature showed the highest % yield in the temperature 450oC is 79,09% and for Ï’-Al2O3 with variations of temperature showed the highest % yield in the temperature 500oC is 68,20%

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of the Department of Communication and Information of North Sumatra Province as a public sector organization with a balanced scorecard approach. Performance is measured through four balanced scorecard perspectives, namely: financial perspective, internal business process perspective, growth and learning perspective, and customer/society perspective. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that performance appraisal from a financial perspective is economical with an average budget realization achievement of 86.60% in the past 3 years, which means it is effective and efficient, on the other hand, budget information is still not transparent. Performance appraisal from the community's perspective is considered good, the community is satisfied with relevant and updated information services. Performance appraisal according to the perspective of internal business processes is classified as efficient and good in providing services measured through several indicators. Performance appraisal based on learning and growth perspective is considered good considering the welfare of its employees as measured by several indicators.Keywords: Performance, Public Sector Organizations, Balanced Scorecard

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Current Ratio dan Receivable Turnover terhadap Return On Asset pada PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ialah data sekunder yang didapat dari situs resmi Bursa Efek Indonesia. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif kausal. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian adalah sampling jenuh dengan menggunakan metode analisis data uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linear berganda, dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil uji t, secara parsial variabel Current Ratio diperoleh hasil tidak berpengaruh terhadap Return On Asset dengan t hitung 1,914 dan t tabel 2,045 (1,914 2,045) dan nilai signifikansi 0,066 0,05. Dan hasil uji t secara parsial variabel Receivable Turnover diperoleh berpengaruh terhadap Return On Asset dengan t hitung 13,766 dan t tabel 2,045 (13,766 2,045) dan nilai signifikansi 0,001 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil uji F diperoleh Current Ratio dan Receivable Turnover secara bersama-sama (simultan) memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Return On Asset dengan nilai F hitung sebesar 118,303 dan f tabel 3,32 (118,303 3,32) dan tingkat signifikan 0,001 yang berarti memiliki peranan penting dalam meningkatkan laba pada PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk.

Abstract

Generasi Alpha adalah generasi cerdas digital dengan potensi sangat tinggi. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi dan pengetahuan sejak dini terkait pentingnya literasi kewirausahaan dan digital pada generasi Alpha yaitu siswa SD Yayasan Al-Fityan School Tangerang. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian literasi kali ini adalah konsep sosialisasi. Hasil kegiatan yaitu bahwa 100% siswa yang memperhatikan materi kewirausahaan siswa telah memahami materi secara keseluruhan. Selain itu, 90% siswa sudah mengetahui aplikasi Canva dan pernah memakainya, mengetahui dasar-dasar dan sudah tergolong handal dalam penggunaan aplikasi tersebut. Siswa SD di Yayasan Al-Fityan School sangat antusias, termotivasi dan terdapat peningkatan minat peserta untuk melakukan wirausaha mereka di masa depan, dan peserta memahami bagaimana tata cara mendesain dan mempromosikan suatu produk dengan menggunakan aplikasi Canva.Kata kunci: kewirausahaan, marketing, pendidikan

Abstract

Gempabumi merupakan gejala alam yang tidak dapat dihilangkan atau ditiadakan. Kejadian gempabumi sangat berpengaruh terhadap bangunan. Indonesia merupakan suatu wilayah yang hampir seluruhnya berada di sekitar ring on fire (daerah yang sering mengalami gempabumi dengan intensitas sedang hingga tinggi dan letusan gunung api). Gedung Labor dan Bengel Teknik Elekro Politekntik Negeri Padang memiliki 3 lantai yang befungsi untuk praktikum dan perkuliahan. Sebagai sebuah gedung pendidikan, kenyamanan pengguna menjadi prioritas utama, sehingga dilakukanlah evaluasi guna memastikan bahwa struktur bangunan tersebut memenuhi standar keamanan yang diperlukan serta mampu bertahan tanpa mengalami keruntuhan saat terjadi gempabumi dengan menggunakan metode evaluasi tier 1 berdasarkan ASCE 41-17. Evaluasi tier 1 pada gedung ini dilakukan berdasarkan gambar struktur gedung, pemodelan struktur menggunakan ETABS dan perhitungan manual dengan software excel. Hasil penelitian yaitu terdapat ceklis yang terpenuhi pada evaluasi tier 1, adalah jalur beban, bangunan yang berdekatan, tingkat lemah, tingkat lunak, geometri, massa, torsi, kegagalan lereng, guling, redudansi, tegangan geser kolom, tegangan aksial kolom, rangka pelat datar, kolom kaptif, tidak ada kegagalan geser, tulangan balok, sambungan tulangan balok, eksentrisitas joint, Kontinuitas diafragma dan penulangan diafragma pada bukaan. Pernyataan ceklis yang tidak terpenuhi pada evaluasi tier 1, adalah dinding yang menghalangi, kolom kuat balok lemah, spasi tie kolom, spasi sengkang, dan kompabilitas defleksi. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi ceklis tier 1, bangunan gedung ini tidak memenuhi tingkat kinerja immediate occupancy karena terdapat beberapa kriteria ceklis yang tidak terpenuhi.

Abstract

Among the many options of endorsers on public accounts as well as creator accounts on the Instagram platform, industry players must be careful in choosing the appropriate endorser who can represent the promoted product. The aim of this study is to compare the effectiveness of endorsement on creator accounts and public accounts as endorsers using the TEARS Model. This model consists of trust, expertise, attractiveness, respect, and similarity between creator account endorsers and public account endorsers. This study evaluates respondents' perceptions of two different types of endorsers based on similar advertising products, namely culinary products. This study uses descriptive analysis methods with a quantitative approach. The population used is Generation Z individuals who are Instagram social media users with a sample of 385 respondents. The results of this study show that creator account endorsers are more effective than public account endorsers. Creator accounts have a higher level of effectiveness in the dimensions of trust, attractiveness, and respect. In contrast, the dimensions of expertise and similarity with the target audience are higher in public account endorsers. Generation Z evaluates that both types of accounts have their respective advantages, where endorsement on creator accounts is more attention-grabbing and convincing, while endorsement on public accounts is more relatable due to the similarity of hobbies between endorsers and Generation Z consumers.

Abstract

One of the external factors that contribute to increasing career adaptability is parental support. However, previous studies have shown mixed results regarding the relationship between parental support and career adaptability, indicating the existence of internal factors that can act as mediators, namely future work-self. Therefore, this study aims to examine the role of future work-self as a mediator in the relationship between parental support and career adaptability in Gen Z students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a mediation analysis design. The research sample consisted of 159 undergraduate and diploma students aged 19–25 years (M=21.2), who were selected using convenience sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out online using the Career Adaptability Scale-5 (CAS-5), Career-Related Parent Support Scale (CRPSS), and Future Work Self Scale (FWSS), which have been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was carried out using mediation analysis techniques with Jamovi software. The results showed that future work-self acts as a partial mediator in the relationship between parental support and career adaptability. Parental support has a significant direct effect on career adaptability as well as an indirect effect through the mediation of future work-self. This study confirms that parental support plays an important role in increasing the career adaptability of Gen Z students, both directly and through future work. The implication is that universities can develop career guidance programs that involve parents, while students need to build a clearer career vision.

Abstract

This study investigates of Islamic values on the sustainability strategies of women-led, knowledge-based micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Women entrepreneurs significantly contribute to community welfare, and to contextualize the analysis, this study employs a literature review approach by examining prior research on Islamic business ethics, gender dynamics in entrepreneurship, and sustainability practices in MSMEs. The review highlights how Islamic principles may serve as foundational values influencing sustainable business practices among women entrepreneurs. By using bibliometric analysis using data from the Scopus database spanning from 2005 to 2024. A total of 29 documents were initially identified using keywords related to Islamic values, women entrepreneurship, and MSMEs. The bibliometric data were analyzed using VOSviewer software to visualize publication trends, keyword networks, and research clusters in the field. Bibliometric analysis of 22 Scopus-indexed articles identified three dominant research clusters: Islamic ethics and gender identity, social capital and business knowledge, and community-based micro entrepreneurship. The Journal of Business Ethics was the most prominent outlet, and the most cited scholars were Essers & Benschop (2009). The results highlight a lack of empirical research connecting Islamic values with financial literacy and sustainability outcomes in women-led MSMEs. Islamic values, such as honesty, justice, and social responsibility, serve as ethical foundations for women entrepreneurs in Muslim contexts. Future studies should examine the link between Islamic womenpreneurs and financial literacy, particularly their engagement with Islamic microfinance. Additionally, exploring how cultural variations within Muslim societies influence women's entrepreneurial approaches would provide valuable insights.

Abstract

Small-scale local entrepreneurs are often the pulse of the grassroots economy that supports the pulse of daily life. Seblak Cik Maya is one of the local businesses that is growing in Bengkulu City and is engaged in the culinary specialty. In the midst of the digital era that continues to develop, traditional strategies are starting to be abandoned and shifting towards a digital-based system. This study aims to optimize the digital marketing strategy that can be implemented by Seblak Cik Maya in order to reach a wider market and increase sales. The method used is descriptive qualitative through direct observation, interviews with business owners, and documentation of marketing activities that have been carried out. The results show that with the right digital approach, Seblak Cik Maya has the potential to increase brand visibility and expand customer reach. This study provides a contribution in the form of understanding and technical assistance regarding digital marketing based on social media for local entrepreneurs. In addition, this study also provides implementation recommendations that can be used as a reference by similar MSMEs in adapting digitalization as a sustainable means in the current era of digital transformation.
