Abstract

Periode tanggal 2 Oktober - 15 Oktober perusahaan memiliki persediaan bahan baku sebanyak 196 kg, malakukan pembelian 1000 kg sehingga total persediaan bahan baku 1196 kg, pemakaiannya sebanyak 940 kg dan stok akhir sebanyak  256 kg (Over Stock). Pada periode tanggal 29 Agustus - 15 September 2022 perusahaan memiliki sisa persediaan bahan baku sebanyak 88 kg dan melakukan pembelian sebanyak 1000 kg dengan total 1088 kg. Pemakaian periode tersebut 1170 kg, mengalami stock out sebanyak 82 kg. Menganalisis perencanaan persediaan bahan baku untuk memenuhi permintaan penggunaan dan menghitung total biaya persediaan sehinga bahan baku selalu optimal. Periodic review system melakukan pemesanan kembali secara tratur. Ukuran pesanan bergantung pada tingkat persediaan akhir selama periode pemesanan ulang. Stok pengaman diperlukan untuk kehabisan stok. Continuous review system melakukan melakukan pemeriksaan inventaris dan pesanan kuantitas secara terus menerus. Dengan menggunakan metode PRS, total biaya persediaan adalah  Rp. 132.465.335,7 dengan penghematan biaya sebesar Rp.3.107.968,3 presentase penurunan 2,29 %.  Menggunakan metode CRS  sebesar  Rp.132.878.533,2 penghematan biaya sebesar Rp.2.685.770,8 presentase penurunan 1,98 %. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode PRS memiliki total biaya optimal karenan memberikan penghematan biaya lebih besar.

Abstract

Determining the class quota at each period of filling out the KRS (Study Plan Card) at the beginning of the semester is often an activity that cannot be determined easily. It is due to several important factors in it, one of the most influential and difficult things is the uncertainty when determining the quota for the number of students who will take the course, if later there is an error in predicting the number of students who will take the course, then the class quota that is prepared will certainly be less so that it leads to the disruption of the ongoing Student KRS registration process. The method used in this study is predicting using trend analysis which aims to determine how much capacity or inventory is needed for decision-making, then a system will be designed that can be used to predict the number of predicting quotas for courses that will be provided. The system design applies the system development method with UML. The stages of the process are carried out from collecting and processing subject offer quota data several previous academic years. This research has succeeded in building a model to make predictions using the Trend Analysis method, so that it can be used as a recommendation for the number of quotas offered for the next academic year.

Abstract

Jumlah produksi Crude Palm Oil di PT X pada Januari 2019 mencapai 3.413.353 Kg. Pada bulan berikutnya produksi minyak CPO mengalami penurunan. Jumlah bahan baku masuk yang berfluktuasi, menyebabkan munculnya ketidakpastian jumlah produksi CPO. Pada Februari 2019 produksi CPO PT X turun sebesar 52%. Untuk menghindari keadaan tidak pastinya jumlah produksi di masa yang akan datang, maka dilakukan peramalan. Backpropagation merupakan algoritma yang dapat diterapkan untuk menyelesaikan beberapa permasalahan, terutama masalah yang berkaitan dengan prediksi atau peramalan. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dengan algoritma Backpropagation Neural Network dengan variasi model arsitektur hidden neuron 4, fungsi pembelajaran trainlm, fungsi aktivasi sigmoid, learning rate 0.7, mampu menghasilkan tingkat kesalahan prediksi terbaik dengan nilai MSE sebesar 0.00054 pada pelatihan, dan 0,00372 pada pengujian. Model tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai model untuk meramalkan produksi CPO PT X pada bulan Mei-Desember 2021.

Abstract

Setiap kegiatan usaha pastinya memiliki standar kualitas produk yang menjadi pedoman. Semakin tinggi kualitas produk maka akan banyak peminat akan produk tersebut. Perusahaan dituntut untuk  meningkatkan kualitas produk guna meningkatkan daya saing dengan usaha lain, salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan mengurangi cacat produk  sehingga dapat mengurangi kerugian yang di alami. IKM dengan produksi cor alumunium ini memiliki permasalahan yaitu produk cacat yang cukup banyak, saat ini terjadi cacat produk sebesar 8,33% dalam sekali produksi. IKM tersebut memproduksi sebanyak 60 pcs/hari. Dalam menangani kasus cacat produk yang terjadi akan dilakukan analisis menggunakan metode Lean Six Sigma. Penggunaan metode tersebut diharapkan mampu mengidentifikasi permasalahan terkait pemborosan yang sering terjadi pada area produksi dengan mengetahui prioritas tindakan perbaikan serta merekomendasi fulture value stream map yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi waste. Berdasarkan diagram SIPOC, bagian produksi IKM Cor Alumunium Wintolo teridentifikasi cacat produk yaitu cacat retak sebesar 39,8 % dan cacat berlubang sebesar 60,2 %. Untuk menganalisa hal tersebut dilakukan pengolahan data menggunakan peta kendali (P-Chart), hasil nilai perhitungan DPMO sebesar 33817,8293 dan nilai Level Sig Sigma sebesar 3,35. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diagram Fishbone, cacat produk disebabkan beberapa faktor diantaranya faktor lingkungan, material, manusia dan faktor material Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data menggunakan metode Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) didapatkan hasil usulan perbaikan untuk mencegah terjadinya cacat produk cetakan cookies dengan melakukan perbaikan terhadap faktor yang menyebabkan cacat produk. Pada tahap control memberikan usulan dengan memberikan solusi sederhana yaitu poka yoke dengan program pemilahan bahan baku dan pengecekan pasir.

Abstract

IMPLEMENTATION OF RELIABILITY CENTERED MAINTENANCE METHOD ON CRITICAL COMPONENTS OF STEAM TURBINE AT PT MADUBARUSteam turbine is a machine that can be used to convert heat energy from steam into mechanical energy so that it can produce electrical energy. As a source of electrical energy, PT Madubaru utilizes this steam turbine. The purpose of this research is to determine the Mean Time To Failure or MTTF and Mean Time To Repair or MTTR values and which components of this steam turbine have the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) based on FMEA analysis. This study uses FMEA analysis and the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method. From the results of data processing that has been done it is known that the most critical component is the coupling component with a damage percentage level of 21.62% of the other components. Based on the calculation of the MTTF value, the result is 1863.74, this means that the coupling component needs to be maintained or checked after operating for 1863.74 hours or around 77,656 days. In addition, for the calculation of the MTTR value, the result is 0.7941 hours, which means that the coupling component takes 0.7941 hours to repair. While the FMEA analysis showed that the coupling component received the highest RPN value of 24 out of the other components. The cause that occurred was due to a broken coupling membrane which hampered the production process because it was necessary to repair the component.

Abstract

The Broiler Chicken business owned by Andien, belonging to Mrs. Tri Winarti, initially operated with a capacity of 12,000 chickens and planned to expand to 24,000 chickens. This study aims to assess the sustainability of the development of Andien's Broiler Chicken farm to 24,000 chickens from a financial perspective. Financial analysis was conducted through calculations of Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PP). From the calculation results, it can be concluded that the expansion of Andien's Broiler Chicken business from 12,000 chickens to 24,000 chickens is a viable step based on the scenario calculations. The Payback Period (PP) is 1.31 periods, indicating a quick payback of investment as PP is less than 12 periods. The calculation results show an NPV value of Rp 4,936,714,867 using a 6% discount rate (based on the 2023 BRI KUR interest rate), and if using a 7% discount rate (based on the 2023 Mandiri KUR interest rate), the NPV would be 4,633,045,331. The presence of a positive NPV indicates the viability of this business development. The calculated IRR value reaches 22.26%, exceeding the 6% discount rate. The feasibility of the business is also supported by a BCR value of 1.09, where a ratio above 1 indicates the viability of the business.

Abstract

PT X is a company engaged in manufacturing bottle caps such as cap flip top ?50-8 white snap on products. In the production process at PT X in August 2022, there is a problem related to the level of defects in the cap flip top ?50-8 white snap products which increases and exceeds the regulatory limit (5%), reaching 10% or 65,707 units of the total production of 658,000 units. Based on the problem of the high percentage of defects, it is necessary to carry out a quality control using six sigma to determine the level of defects that occur, to look for factors affecting the highest defects and to provide suggestions for improvements. From the results of the analysis using six sigma, it is found that the highest level of defects, namely the type of black spot defects, is 45,413 pcs with a percentage of 69.11% and the average sigma value obtained is 3,022. Next, the results of the fishbone diagram   analysis show that the factors causing black spot defects are machines, materials, humans, media, and methods. From each of these causal factors, improvement can be given using 5W + 1H to reduce black spot defects that occur in the cap flip top ?50-8 white snap on in the next production process.

Abstract

PT KMPI is an industrial company that produces textiles and plastics, including plastic products made of polypropylene (PP). The problem that occurs in PT Kusuma Mulia Plasindo Infitex is the quality of the products that still have defects, based on the results of the analysis in February 2023 with a total production of 76,596 kg there are rejects data of 4,695 kg and the percentage of product defects that occur is 6.1%. The objective of this study is to determine the predominant types of defects that influence the factors that cause defects. This study uses the seven tools method to find the root cause of the problem to be solved, as well as the Kaizen Five-M checklist and the Kaizen Five Step Plan to suggest improvements to the company. Based on the results of data processing, there are three types of defects, namely wrinkle defects with a percentage of 43% for a total defect of 2039 kg, medium wrinkle defects with a percentage of 45% for a total defect of 2094 kg, and thick-thin defects with a percentage of 12% for a total defect of 562 kg. From the fishbone diagram, it can be seen that the occurrence of defects is caused by several factors, namely people, materials, methods and machines. Suggested improvements using the Kaizen Five-M checklist analysis are training and monitoring of production, implementation of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) established by the company, such as dosing the mixture of plastic seeds with addictive substances at a ratio of 25 Kg. 1 oz. and Kaizen management control: 1 Ons and Kaizen five-step plan management controls, namely Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke. This includes pre-job briefings and periodic assessments, and the establishment of standard operating procedures for the supervision of single-table melting machines with a melting temperature of 160-166oC.

Abstract

PT Mitra Rekatama Mandiri is an industrial foundry that makes metal products. The problem that occurs in the company is related to the quality of products that are still experiencing defects with the percentage of defects reaching 5.6% during February-March 2023. The research conducted aims to identify the dominating errors in the fabrication process, determine the factors that cause product defects. The methods applied are Statistical Process Control and 5W + 1H to be able to analyze problems related to product quality control. Based on the results of the study, there were 3 types of defects, namely 52% lossal defects, 30% porous, and 17% lossal defects. The results of the fishbone diagram are known factors that cause defects, namely human factors, methods, materials, machines.

Abstract

CV Baja Makmur 2 is a company engaged in metal casting, one of the products produced by the company is a rubber wheel product where rubber wheel products have several types including R 100, R150, R 300, R 500, R750, and R 1000. In wheel production R 300 rubber found a problem where the average level of production was around 979 pcs higher compared to the average demand of only 940 pcs, this could cause an increase in production costs incurred by the company. The purpose of this research is to minimize the production cost of R 300 rubber wheels for the next 12 months, using the Forecasting method to predict the number of requests and Aggregate Planning to minimize production costs. The results of this study indicate that the Forecasting method using ARIMA obtained the best model (0,1,1) with an MSE value of 40969.4. In the Aggregate Planning method using the Level Method the minimum production cost for the next 12 periods is around Rp 258.802.500.
