Abstract

This article discusses the relevance of students' motivation and achievement in samples in Indonesian. Motivation is the drive, the desire, the individual needs to do an activity. The level of one's motivation can be traced through the behavioral background, it is also found in the learning motivation. Motivation to learn to form achievement motivation which is an effort to achieve the best result of learning by referring to a standard of education quality. This study aims to perform meta-analysis on 20 research results in Indonesia about the relevance of motivation to learning achievement. The analysis was performed by bare bone’s meta-analysis method. The results showed the correlation analysis of the population after corrected by the sample error analysis, estimated at 0.457, the population variance of 2.42 with the standard deviation of 1.55. Referring to a 95% confidence interval with an acceptance limit between -2,581 <ρ<3.495 and a value of ρ 0.457. Based on it can be concluded that there is influence between motivation to student achievement in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of each accountability evaluation model, in order to make counseling programs easier for counselors to carry out. The method used was qualitative research, which focuses on meanings, definitions, characteristics, symbols and explanations of the concepts learned. The research data was collected through literature reviews and document analysis. In this study, descriptive document analysis methods were also used in data measurement. Descriptive analysis method aims to test the facts and meanings of a research systematically. This model was formed based on different initial goals in the implementation of counseling services. Moreover, Accountability Evaluation Models of School Counseling Program has each of its advantages and disadvantages. The counselor should choose part of the models which is appropriate to the situation and easy to implement in the school, in order for the implementation processes of the institution counseling program to be measured and planned in the future.

Abstract

The prevalence of bullying in schools is a widespread issue thatnegatively impacts the psychosocial, self-esteem, and emotional well-being of its victim. Therefore, it is imperative to enhance the self-functioning of students. Compassion training is one of the approaches that can help individuals to survive, understand and obtain the positivity in difficult situations. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental studydesign to obtain 50 high-school students in Pringsewu District, Lampung Province, Indonesia. Furthermore, data collectionwas conducted using a self-function scale developed based on Rogers’theory. The datawere analyzed using the independent t-test techniqueto evaluate the feasibility of changing behaviour by comparing conditions. The compassion training model is proven to increase the fully functioning of students thatare victims of bullying. This can be seen from the increasing indicators of their self-assessment functioning. Meanwhile, fully functioning individuals instinctively help others achieve their need for positivity by expressing genuine concern through harmoniousrelationships. These individuals cultivate an open-minded attitude, maintain a strong sense of purpose, and establish trust in themselves and others.
