Abstract

Situs Taman Purbakala Kerajaan Sriwijaya (TPKS) diyakini sebagai bekas kawasan pemukiman dan taman di masa kerajaan Sriwijaya dimana pada kawasan ini banyak ditemukan peninggalan purbakala. Di dalam TPKS terdapat cagar budaya dan Museum Sriwijaya yang menyimpan koleksi bersejarah peninggalan kerajaan Sriwijaya. Pengembangan aplikasi pengelolaan surat dokumentasi cagar budaya di Taman Purbakala Kerjaan Sriwijaya (TPKS) bertujuan memudahkan dalam pengelolaan untuk pemeliharaan dan pelestarian serta ketahanan budaya Sumatera Selatan khusus nya kota Palembang melalui TPKS. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diawali pengembangan aplikasi berdasarkan kebutuhan TPKS untuk pengelololaan surat dokumentasi cagar budaya. Pada tahapan akhir pengebangkan dilakukan pelatihan dan sosialisasi aplikasi pada pemangku kepentingan yaitu UPTD TPKS. Sosialisasi aplikasi dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memperkenalkan pemanfaatan fitur-fitur meliputi penambahan, pengubahan, dan pencarian data surat dokumentasi cagar budaya kepada staf TPKS. Masing-masing fitur aplikasi memiliki fungsionalitas berbeda yang perlu diperkenalkan bagaimana memanfaatkan nya sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengelolan surat dokumentasi cagar budaya di TPKS. Dengan metode pengenalan secara langsung kepada pengguna aplikasi diharapkan dapat secara optimal dimanfaatkan oleh pengguna dan meningkatkan kinerja organisasi. Hasil sosialisasi menunjukkan bahwa pengguna dapat dengan mudah memanfaatkan aplikasi untuk pengelolaan surat dokumentasi cagar budaya. Aplikasi yang dikembangkan diharapkan nantinya dapat dimanfaatkan oleh pengelola TPKS sehingga dapat mengoptimalkan kinerja bagian terkait dengan cagar budaya.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of feature extraction and fine-tuning approaches in developing robust cyber intrusion detection models using the Network-based Security Lab - KDD dataset (NSL-KDD). The role of cyber intrusion detection is pivotal in securing computer networks from unauthorized access and malicious activities. Feature extraction, involving methods such as PCA, LDA, and Autoencoders, aims to transform raw data into informative representations, while fine-tuning leverages pre-trained models for task-specific adaptation. The study follows a comprehensive research method encompassing data collection, preprocessing, model development, and experimental evaluation. Results indicate that LDA and Autoencoders excel in the feature extraction phase, demonstrating precision, high accuracy, F1-Score, and recall. However, fine-tuning a pre-trained Multilayer Perceptron model surpasses individual feature extraction methods, achieving superior performance across all metrics. The discussion emphasizes the complexity and flexibility of these approaches, with fine-tuned models showcasing higher adaptability. In conclusion, this study provides valuable insights into the comparative effectiveness of feature extraction and fine-tuning for cyber intrusion detection. The findings underscore the importance of leveraging pre-trained knowledge and adapting models to specific tasks, offering a foundation for further advancements in enhancing network security through advanced machine learning techniques.

Abstract

International trade plays a crucial role in strengthening relationships between nations, where production specialization and exports serve as strategies to address a country's production deficiencies. The focus on exports, particularly oil and gas exports in Indonesia, is key to economic growth. This study compares two primary extrapolation methods, namely polynomial and Chebyshev, to predict the volume of oil and gas exports in 2022. Actual data from 2019 to 2021 is utilized to evaluate the performance of these methods. The analysis results indicate that although both methods provide accurate predictions, polynomial extrapolation has a slightly lower error rate compared to Chebyshev. Using MAPE as the evaluation metric, polynomial extrapolation obtains a value of 28.48, while Chebyshev obtains 31.46. Furthermore, for the relative error, polynomial method yields 0.304466997 percent, and Chebyshev method yields 0.327263854. Therefore, the polynomial method is chosen as the preferred approach, predicting the total oil and gas exports to be 11,127.29.

Abstract

Accurate passenger demand forecasting is essential for optimizing the operational efficiency and sustainability of urban rail systems. This study aims to forecast monthly passenger numbers in the Palembang Light Rail Transit (LRT) system using optimized Exponential Smoothing (ES) models with parameter tuning for improved predictive accuracy. Three variants of the ES method are examined: Simple Exponential Smoothing (SES), Double Exponential Smoothing (DES), and Brown's Exponential Smoothing (BES). Furthermore, Seasonal ARIMA (SARIMA) is used as a benchmark to evaluate whether simpler ES models can match or outperform complex statistical approaches. Data from August 2018 to December 2023 are analyzed and split into training and testing sets (ratio 80:20). Model performance is evaluated using Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), Diebold–Mariano (DM), and Ljung–Box Q (LBQ) tests. The results show that the SES model with a smoothing parameter α = 0.9 achieves the best forecasting accuracy on the test data (MAPE = 8.6%), outperforming other ES variants and previous SARIMA-based models. These findings highlight that simpler ES-based models can effectively capture short-term transportation demand patterns in developing urban transit systems. Practically, the results of this study can provide valuable insights for LRT operators and municipal planners in designing responsive, data-driven operational strategies.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini dilakukan di museum MayJen. TNI (Purn.) dr. A.K. Gani untuk meningkatkan potensi eduwisata museum pasca pandemi COVID-19 lewat revitalisasi berbasis inovasi Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi. Permasalahan mitra yang mengalami kesulitan dalam mempromosikan museum untuk eduwisata coba diselesaikan dengan menawarkan solusi berupa pembuatan perangkat pojok digital yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai fasiltas media promosi dilengkapi dengan fitur video profil museum dan apikasi sistem informasi koleksi museum. Sosialisasi dan evaluasi perangkat pojok digital dilakukan pada Pameran Senjata Tradisional 2023 yang diselenggarakan oleh Museum Negeri Sumatera Selatan. Sejumlah N=30 pengunjung pameran diminta untuk mengisi kuesioner umpan balik sebagai dasar evaluai kegiatan PkM. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan rata-rata responden menyatakan setuju bahwa perangkat pojok digital Museum  Mayjen. TNI (Purn) dr.A.K.Gani efektif sebagai fasilitas layanan informasi yang menarik minat kunjungan ke museum.  Kegiatan PkM ini diharapkan efektif bertampak pada peningkatan jumlah kunjungan eduwisata bagi museum MayJen. TNI (Purn.) dr.A.K.Gani serta masyarakat sekitarnya.

Abstract

This paper compares the performance of eigenface and eigen fuzzy set to extract lip traits. Testing is conducted by implementing the two methods in a face identification system based on lip traits. The database used is primary data that consists of front-face image and lip image. The test result shows that eigenface is more effective with average precisionrecall value 0.22% higher. However, statistical tests show that there are no significant differences between the two methods. An optimal extraction method will be used to develop face identification system based on facial components.

Abstract

Informasi mengenai rata-rata gaji bersih bulanan di setiap provinsi di Indonesia masih sulit diakses secara cepat dan mudah dipahami oleh masyarakat, sehingga menyulitkan individu dalam memperkirakan kondisi ekonomi di daerah tertentu. Kondisi ini menjadikan pengembangan sistem prediksi gaji sebagai topik penelitian yang penting untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan, baik bagi pencari kerja maupun pihak terkait lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan aplikasi prediksi gaji sebagai sistem prediksi rata-rata gaji bersih bulanan di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah ekstrapolasi linier dengan pendekatan metode Newton dan spline kubik Hermite, yang diimplementasikan dalam bahasa pemrograman PHP. Data historis gaji digunakan sebagai dasar perhitungan untuk menghasilkan nilai prediksi pada periode berikutnya. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu menghasilkan nilai prediksi yang mendekati data aktual dengan nilai gaji rata – rata Rp. 2.631.791,88, nilai Mean Squared Error (MSE) sebesar 1.489 dan Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) sebesar 38,59. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa metode yang diterapkan cukup efektif dan aplikasi prediksi gaji dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai alat bantu estimasi gaji yang informatif dan mudah digunakan.

Abstract

This study aims to accurately forecast monthly native chicken egg production using the Seasonal Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (SARIMA) model with parameter optimization. The optimization process was conducted through a combination of auto.arima() initialization and an exhaustive grid search across the parameter space, evaluated using multiple performance metrics. The dataset comprised monthly production data from Magelang City, Indonesia, spanning the period from 2016 to 2022. The best-performing model, SARIMA (2,1,2)(1,0,1,12), achieved an R² of 0.89, MAE of 82.13, RMSE of 92.92, MAPE of 7.21%, and MASE of 0.67 on the testing set, indicating satisfactory forecasting performance. Compared with the non-optimized SARIMA baseline, the optimized model showed improved predictive accuracy. However, the residuals did not follow a normal distribution, suggesting potential limitations in model assumptions. Moreover, the study is limited by its focus on a single geographic location and native chicken production data, which may restrict its generalizability. Despite these limitations, the findings demonstrate that parameter optimization in SARIMA enhances forecast accuracy and can support better planning for food security initiatives.

Abstract

Abstract: This Community Service Program (PkM) focuses on delivering fundamental web security concepts tailored to the age-specific needs of young learners. Collaborative efforts among teachers, and parents, ensure a cohesive implementation of web security measures within the school environment. This PkM activity aims to enhance elementary school student's knowledge about the importance of web security. The method used is by giving lectures and interactive discussions to PkM participants. The total number of participants involved in this PkM is around 25 people, consisting of teachers and students. Evaluation of this PkM activities based on questionnaire feedback from PkM participants. According to feedback from participants, there has been a noticeable improvement in understanding the significance of web security. Before engaging in PkM activities, only approximately 5 percent of students possessed knowledge regarding the importance of web security. However, post-PkM activities, approximately 90 percent of students affirmed their awareness of the significance of web security.

Abstract

AbstrakMaraknya penipuan digital melalui WhatsApp dan media sosial menjadi ancaman serius bagi pelaku usaha kue dan snack rumahan di Kelurahan Talang Jambe, Palembang. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi digital pelaku usaha dalam mengidentifikasi dan mencegah modus penipuan daring. Metode yang digunakan meliputi presentasi materi dan diskusi interaktif, dengan pendekatan berbasis teori Digital Literacy dan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada Mei 2025 dengan melibatkan pelaku UMKM lokal. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap berbagai jenis penipuan, dari rata-rata 65% sebelum kegiatan menjadi 90,8% setelahnya. Diskusi juga mengungkap pengalaman peserta yang sebelumnya nyaris menjadi korban penipuan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan edukatif langsung efektif meningkatkan kesadaran dan kesiapsiagaan digital pelaku usaha. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat direplikasi untuk memperkuat keamanan digital UMKM secara lebih luas. Kata kunci: keamanan digital; usaha kue dan snack; penipuan online; pengabdian kepada masyarakat. AbstractThe rise of digital fraud through WhatsApp and social media poses a serious threat to home-based cake and snack businesses in Talang Jambe, Palembang. This Community Service (PkM) initiative aimed to enhance digital literacy among business owners by equipping them with practical knowledge to identify and prevent common online scams. The program employed presentations and interactive discussions, guided by the frameworks of Digital Literacy and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Conducted in May 2025, the activity engaged local micro-entrepreneurs who actively use digital platforms for marketing. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants’ understanding of various types of fraud—from an average of 65% before the program to 90.8% afterward. Discussions revealed that several participants had previously been close to falling victim to such scams. These findings highlight the effectiveness of direct educational approaches in strengthening cybersecurity awareness. The program is expected to serve as a model for similar efforts aimed at improving the digital resilience of MSMEs. Keywords: digital security; cake and snack business; online fraud; community service.
