Abstract

The growth of vehicles in Indonesia can lead to an increased risk of traffic accidents due to road user traffic violations, one of which is the Over Dimension Overloading (ODOL) vehicle violation. The unavailability of an application to calculate the specific payload capacity for Motor Vehicle Examiners to automatically test the calculation of the load capacity of a motorized vehicle, trailer and attached carriage is an important problem. This application is designed using the Android Studio IDE and Java programming with PHP as an intermediary xml and MySQL database. The analytical method used to formulate an application program design and system design is carried out to facilitate users. From the results of testing this application is said to be accurate and fast in carrying out the process of calculating the carrying capacity. The advantages of this application can provide consideration of whether or not a vehicle is able to withstand the strength of the carrying capacity in accordance with the carrying capacity of the vehicle and provide the results of adjusting the carrying capacity according to standards so as to reduce violations of Over Dimension Overloading (ODOL) vehicles on the highway.

Abstract

Congestion during rush hours has always been a significant problem for the government, impacting travel time, vehicle operations and air pollution, and health problems. The government has proposed some policies through traffic engineering management and other management applications with the latest technology to overcome such issues. Research related to travel patterns during peak hours is beneficial, which will impact road users' decision-making, particularly during these days when everyone's activities are starting again after COVID-19 restrictions. In this paper, data processing (from Google Maps Distance Matrix API, Typical Google Maps, and Community Mobility Reports) was carried out for almost one month to obtain data on speed and travel time. These data are gathered from four pairs of locations with specific origin/destination of travel patterns in the southern Bali region. The community's travel pattern can be explained based on the one-way ANOVA with Bonferroni and the Kruskal Wallis Test. This paper found that people are in a hurried movement in the morning compared to other busy times, marked by the differences in speed and travel time in the morning commute to afternoon and evening commute during rush hours. This condition illustrates the irregular traffic flow after the Covid-19 restriction rules; thus, drivers can still choose the desired speed to travel. The irregular traffic flow can be seen on community mobility data and typical green traffic during peak hours. This result is significant because of the importance of traffic management during peak hours to optimize the level of road service.

Abstract

Chassis kendaraan merupakan rangka yang berfungsi sebagai penopang berat kendaraan, mesin penumpang, serta beban-beban lain. Beban yang lebih berat akan menyebabkan kelelahan dan mempersingkat umur Chassis. Operator kendaraan tidak dapat secara akurat memperkirakan jumlah muatan yang dibawa oleh Chassis. Hal ini karena saat ini belum ada standar yang berlaku untuk kerusakan Chassis, baik dari segi posisi, luasan, maupun frekuensi pembebanan. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah menganalisis pengaruh pemberian pembebanan kepada material dan menganalisis beban maksimal yang bisa menopang rangka/Chassis sepeda motor listrik dengan daya 3000-watt. Adapun hasil dari penelitian adalah semakin berat pembebanan yang dilakukan maka simulasi stress, Displacement dan Strain menunjukkan peningkatan nilai, sedangkan untuk FOS semakin berat pembebanan yang dilakukan maka nilai semakin kecil < 1, (batas aman nilai FOS > 1). Pembebanan 90 kg memiliki nilai FOS yang sangat ideal yakni 1,207 dan maksimum nilai FOS dengan pembebanan 120 kg dengan nilai 0,905, dengan pembebanan 150 kg dan 180 kg Chassis tidak mampu untuk menahan beban karena memiliki nilai < 1.

Abstract

In this research, it is intended to identify the concentration of soot in the exhaust emissions of the L-300 diesel engine by adding an additional substance in the form of methanol CH3OH. The research method in this study used an experimental method with the help of a smoke tester used to test the soot concentration in exhaust emissions of diesel motorized vehicles. The experiment was carried out at night using different mixtures and where each mixture will be carried out 8 times to collect data. Experiments used a smoke tester to test soot emissions on: fuel not mixed with methanol additive (M0D100), 5% methanol mixture (M5D95), 10% methanol (M10D90), 15% methanol mixture (M15D85). After carrying out the research and data processing, it was obtained that the M0D100 mixture had a soot emission concentration of 36.52%. The M5D95 mixture decreased the concentration of exhaust emissions to 31.05%. Then in the M10D90 mixture, the soot emission concentration decreased to 27.17%. whereas in the M15D85 mixture the soot concentration increased to 33.76%.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat adalah suatu kegiatan yang bertujuan membantu masyarakat tertentu dalam beberapa aktivitas. Program ini dirancang oleh berbagai sekolah tinggi dan institusi yang ada di Indonesia untuk memberikan kontribusi nyata bagi bangsa Indonesia. Dalam rangka program “Indonesia Tumbuh” salah satunya terdapat pengembangan 5 destinasi wisata Bali Baru yang menjadikan Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus Mandalika sebagai tujuan wisata baru. Untuk kepentingan tersebut dibutuhkan peningkatan peran masyarakat sebagai pelaku pariwisata. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut Kementerian Perhubungan merencanakan Diklat Pengabdian Masyarakat. Diklat Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dimaksudkan untuk peningkatan kualitas produk – produk kerajinan lokal yang dapat menjadi souvenir gift secara global dalam menunjang event – event international kegiatan wisata pada kawasan tersebut. Metode yang di gunakan dalam kegitan ini adalah metode Pelatihan yaitu dengan memberikan penyuluhan tentang substansi kegiatan yang disertai dengan demonstrasi atau percontohan untuk realisasinya, pelatihan dalam pengoperasian sistem atau peralatan, pembentukan kelompok wirausaha baru, dan penyediaan jasa layanan bersertifikat kepada masyarakat. Program kegiatan yang telah berhasil merupakan titik awal untuk program berikutnya hingga tercapai tujuan yang diharapkan oleh masyarakat dan instansi satker POLTRADA Bali khususnya. Membantu mengantisipasi penyebaran wabah dengan berbagai langkah dilakukan untuk mengurangi penyebaran virus.

Abstract

Sukawati Art Market has 3 Blocks where Blocks A and B were completed in December 2020, and Block C was completed in early 2022. As the number of merchant stalls increases, the number of tourists who come also increases. This affects the parking facilities provided. This study aims to find out the absolute need for parking spaces and the characteristics of the parking at Sukawati Art Market. The method used is a quantitative method where data is obtained by conducting a live survey on Sunday at peak hours, namely from 10:00 to 13:00. The results showed the accumulation of a maximum of 276 vehicles at 11.30-11.45 WITA and 85 vehicles at 12.30-12.45 WITA. The average motorcycle parking turnover rate reached 0.32 vehicles/hour, and cars reached 1.09 vehicles/hour. While the average length of motorcycle parking is 0.82 hours/vehicle, and for Light Vehicles (LV) 1.49 hours/per vehicle. The parking capacity for Motorcycles (MC) reaches 511.98 vehicles/(SRP/hour) while Light Vehicles (LV) reach 34.87 vehicles/(SRP/hour). Provision of Motorcycle (MC) parking spaces amounting to 1382 vehicles and for Light Vehicles (MC) 94 vehicles. The highest parking index for Motorcycles (MC) reached 0.65, which means parking needs are below the available capacity or there are no parking problems, and for Light Vehicles (MC), the highest reaches 1.63, where the capacity is insufficient or parking is experiencing problems. Parking needs are 70.38% for Motorcycles (MC) and for Light Vehicles (LV) by 29.62%.
