Abstract

The At-Taisir method is a memorization method of the Qur'an which was inaugurated in 2018. This method was initiated by Adi Hidayat and implemented a one-page one-day memorization system of the Qur'an. Usually, when memorizing the Qur'an, the memorizer is flexible in choosing the memorization schedule and memorization amount. But in this method, the memorizer has presented a schedule and amount of memorization so that the memorizer becomes more disciplined and bound. Currently, the activity of memorizing the Qur'an with the At-Taisir method is done manually. This study aims to display the At-Taisir method which was previously still in manual form into a mobile application using Android technology with the native application types. This is expected to make the process of memorizing using the At-Taisir method easier to do without having to wait to get the At-Taisir manuscript first. This application is designed with a dynamic display so that if one day the application wants to be developed again, then only need to add the required database. Based on the results of testing carried out the percentage of success of the application reached 85.9%.

Abstract

Productivity of onion in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), caused by rain and attacks from pests, has decreased significantly. One of the pests that often attack onion plants is armyworm (Spodoptera exigua Hubner) which causes 100% damage. To prevent damage, farmers use chemical pesticides to stop armyworm (Spodoptera exigua Hubner) attacks. The use of chemical pesticides has many negative impacts both in terms of the environment and health. To resolve this problem, utilize natural pesticides. Natural pesticides don’t have residual effects and are safe for health. The purpose of this study was to know the effect of natural pesticides garlic and liquid soap against the mortality of armyworms. The methods used are experimental research and a quantitative approach. The result of this study obtained the highest armyworm mortality at 9 days of immersion of 100% and the longer the immersion was carried out the higher the mortality rate of armyworm. Based on the analysis of One Way ANOVA, there was an effect of soaking time of natural pesticides against the mortality of armyworms with a significant value of 0.046.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the relevance of the traditional knowledge of Pijot Village, East Lombok, with scientific concepts in the salt-making process and explore how this practice can be integrated into science education through an ethnoscience approach. The research employed a qualitative method using observation and interviews to gather in-depth data on the stages and local knowledge applied in salt production. The findings reveal that the salt-making process, including evaporation and crystallization, aligns with scientific concepts of phase changes. The use of solar energy in evaporation also reflects renewable energy concepts taught in science education. Integrating ethnoscience into science lessons helps students understand scientific concepts contextually and meaningfully, enhancing both science literacy and creative thinking skills. However, the implementation of ethnoscience faces challenges, such as limited learning media and teachers' understanding of the approach. Therefore, teacher training and the development of ethnoscience-based student worksheets (LKPD) are essential to facilitate learning. The study’s findings are expected to promote curriculum development that links scientific concepts with local culture, enabling students to better apply their knowledge in real-life contexts.

Abstract

The need for culturally responsive science learning highlights the importance of assessment instruments that can capture students’ creative thinking skills. This study aims to analyze the validity and alignment of creative-thinking test items developed within a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) framework integrated with ethnoscience. The research used a Research and Development (R&D) design based on the ADDIE model, covering analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Essay-type questions were constructed to measure four indicators of creative thinking: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Content validity was assessed by material and assessment experts using Aiken’s V. In contrast, qualitative descriptive techniques were used to examine the suitability of the items with creative-thinking indicators and ethnoscience contexts. The results show that all test items achieved very high content validity, with Aiken’s V values ranging from 0.86 to 0.92. Each creative-thinking indicator was represented proportionally, and all items were judged relevant to local cultural practices, particularly the salt-making process in Pejot Village and keris-making traditions in Sakra Village, East Lombok. The study concludes that the developed instrument is valid and feasible for assessing creative thinking skills in PBL-based science learning integrated with ethnoscience. These findings suggest that culturally grounded assessment instruments can enhance science education by fostering deeper, more creative student engagement with scientific concepts.
