Abstract

Kehidupan masyarakat multikultural di Indonesia, khususnya di Kota Tangerang, menuntut adanya penguatan nilai-nilai toleransi beragama, terutama di kalangan generasi muda. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi Islam wasathiyah (moderat) di kalangan Gen-Z Muslim melalui pendekatan pendidikan toleransi beragama. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk workshop, diskusi interaktif, dan pembuatan konten edukatif yang melibatkan pelajar SMA dan mahasiswa sebagai sasaran utama. Metode yang digunakan mencakup penyuluhan partisipatif, pemanfaatan media digital, serta evaluasi pra dan pasca kegiatan untuk mengukur efektivitas program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap prinsip-prinsip Islam wasathiyah, seperti keseimbangan, keadilan, dan penghargaan terhadap keberagaman. Selain itu, program ini juga berhasil membentuk sikap positif peserta terhadap pentingnya toleransi antarumat beragama. Dengan demikian, penguatan literasi Islam wasathiyah melalui pendidikan toleransi beragama dinilai efektif sebagai strategi pembentukan karakter moderat di kalangan Gen-Z Muslim di wilayah urban seperti Kota Tangerang.

Abstract

Ruwatan is a purification ceremony carried out to prevent a child from having bad luck by holding a puppet show. Ruwatan an only child is a hereditary tradition from ancestors which is still preserved by the people, especially the Javanese who believe in it. The ruwatan tradition is considered as something sacred by some Javanese people. Ruwatan is carried out by holding a wayang play performance of Murwakala accompanied by chanting of mantras, gamelan and gending which are believed to ward off evil. The ruwatan ritual of an only child in modern times is carried out by combining the teachings of previous ancestors with islamic teachings.

Abstract

Abstrak Indonesia adalah negara yang kaya, baik kekayaan alamnya maupu tradisi dan budayanya. Terdapat berbagai tradisi di setiap daerah di Indonesia. Salah satunya tradisi wiwit pari yang ada di Jawa. Tradisi wiwit pari merupakan tradisi yang dilakukan sebagian besar pertani ketika akan memanen pari (bahasa jawa) / padi. Tradisi yang telah turun temurun dan masih dilestarikan hingga saat ini dan merupakan tradisi yang telah mengalami proses akulturasi. Dinama kita tahu Indonesia adalah negara yang mayoritas penduduknya adalah pemeluk agama islam, dan mayoritas penduduk Indonesia adalah petani. Meskipun pentani adalah seorang muslim, tradisi wiwit pari masih terus dilakukan. Meskipun tradisi wiwit pari erat hubungannya dengan dewi sri yang dianggap sebagai dewi padi oleh agama hindu. Sebelum islam masuk ke Indonesia, mayoritas orang Indonesia memeluk agama hindu yang percaya kepada dewa dewi, salah satunya dewi sri. Setelah islam masuk di Indonesia, tradisi wiwit pari tidak langsung di hilangkan, namun tetap di lakukan dengan berbagai penyesuaian. Ini menunjukkan bahwa telah terjadi proses akulturasi budaya dan tradisi dari hindu setelah masuknya Islam. Kata Kunci : Wiwit pari, dewi sri, Akulturasi

Abstract

Departing from the idea that reading interest has implications for the learning outcomes obtained by students. The initial provision in understanding learning material is the students reading comprehension ability. The aims of this research were to explain students' reading interest, and their knowledge achievement, and to find out the contribution of reading interest to the students' achievement of Islamic History Education subjects. This study employed an ex-post-facto quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were grade 9A students of SMP Negeri 2 Kerek, Tuban Regency. The data collection technique used was questionnaire and test. The data collected were analyzed by using the Simple Linear Regression data analysis technique. The results showed that reading interest had 46.90% a contribution to learning achievement of Islamic History Education. Meanwhile, the remaining 53.10% was affected by other factors. Furthermore, the significance test showed that the F value (26.47) was higher than the F table (4.17) at alpha (α) 5%. Thus, it explicitly concluded that students' reading interest has a significant contribution to the learning achievement of Islamic History Education subjects.

Abstract

A dai holds an essential role in building an Islamic society that is obedient, ethical, and cultured. In carrying out the mission of dakwah, a dai not only conveys religious teachings in ritual form but also takes into account the social, cultural, political, and educational aspects of the community. Amidst the complex challenges of modern society, the role of the dai is expected to be more adaptive and relevant to contemporary needs. The question then arises: how can the role of a dai be maximized in creating a morally upright society and contributing to the development of an Islamic civilization that achieves excellence? In this context, the dai is not merely a religious messenger, but also a social transformation agent capable of instilling just and civilized character in individuals and society. This study uses a phenomenological approach with a qualitative method. This method is used to understand the meaning of the phenomenon of "The Strategic Role of Dai in Building Islamic Society and Civilization in Ngimbang Village", based on real symptoms that appear in the social life of the community. The phenomenological approach directs attention to the deep meaning of the presence of a da'i in the life of society, not just looking at his formal activities, but how his presence has a real influence on social change. Therefore, the continuous development of the capacity of da'i, both in terms of knowledge, spirituality, and communication skills, is an important need to realize a holistic, inclusive, and dynamic Islamic civilization.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers in strengthening social skills based on Islamic values ​​from the perspective of Imam Al-Ghazali in grade 1 students of MI Hasyimiyah Sukolilo Tuban in the 2025/2026 academic year. Elementary school students' social skills are an important aspect in supporting the process of adaptation and interaction in the school environment, especially in developing cooperation, empathy, and positive social interactions. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation of class teachers and several grade 1 students out of 20 students as research subjects. The results of the study indicate that students' social adaptation skills since the beginning of school are classified as good and develop gradually through the habituation of Islamic values ​​such as mutual assistance (ta'awun), compassion (rahmah), and mutual respect instilled by teachers through advice methods, role models, and direct practice in daily learning activities. Teachers act as educators, guides, motivators, facilitators, and role models in instilling Islamic values ​​so as to strengthen students' ability to cooperate, empathize, and interact socially in a sustainable manner in accordance with Imam Al-Ghazali's educational perspective.
