Background & Objective: Nausea is a common side effect of chemotherapy in breast cancer patients, which can interfere with patient comfort and nutritional status. Aromatherapy is known to have the potential to reduce these complaints non-pharmacologically. Method: This study is a case study with a qualitative descriptive approach, conducted in the HOT ward of Gunung Jati General Hospital in Cirebon City. Data were collected through nursing care assessments and documentation of breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy who experienced nausea. The intervention involved the administration of eucalyptus oil aromatherapy, as well as education and emotional support. Result: After continuous aromatherapy administration, patients showed a decrease in nausea intensity from a scale of 4 to a milder level. Patients also felt more emotionally calm, hydration patterns improved, and overall comfort increased. Conclusion: Eucalyptus oil aromatherapy is effective as an additional intervention to reduce chemotherapy-induced nausea in breast cancer patients. This approach also supports a holistic nursing approach in improving patients' quality of life.

Background & Objective: Acute respiratory tract infection (ARTI) is an acute inflammation of the upper and lower respiratory tract caused by bacterial, viral, or rickettsial diseases. One of the problems that often develops in children is ARTI. Ineffective airway clearance is the inability to clear secretions or airway obstruction to maintain a patent airway. Effective coughing exercises are one of many nursing interventions that help patients with acute respiratory disorders (ARI) address poor airway clearance issues. Implementing effective coughing procedures on patient A with ineffective airway clearance due to upper respiratory tract infection at Kardinah Tegal General Hospital. Method: This study design is observational in the form of a nursing care study to explore nursing care issues in ARI with ineffective airway clearance using effective coughing techniques at Kardinah General Hospital in Tegal. The approach used is a nursing care approach that includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, and implementation. Result: The study found that the effective coughing procedure had an impact on clearing the airway in Patient A with a diagnosis of acute respiratory tract infection. Conclusion: It is hoped that Patient A with an upper respiratory tract infection can perform the effective coughing procedure to clear the airway.

Background & Objective: Non-hemorrhagic stroke is a stroke that occurs due to a blockage in the blood vessels caused by a disruption in the blood supply to the brain, resulting in the cessation of blood flow to the brain. Stroke can cause disability in one of the limbs and weakness in one of the limbs. This results in the loss of coordination and the loss of balance. Therefore, therapy is needed to improve muscle strength in stroke patients through Range of Motion interventions. This final scientific work aims to analyze nursing care for patients with physical mobility disorders. Method: The research method used is a case study. The subject in this case involves one respondent with a non-hemorrhagic stroke and physical mobility disorders who is undergoing treatment in the stroke unit at RSD Gunung Jati. Data collection was conducted using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Result: The nursing diagnoses identified for Mrs. R included physical mobility impairment, anxiety, and acute pain. The interventions provided were based on the Indonesian Nursing Diagnosis and Intervention Standards (SDKI and SIKI) and the principles of Evidence-Based Nursing (EBN). The implementation of interventions such as mobility support, although not yet fully optimal within 3 days. Range of Motion (ROM) exercises were found to have a positive impact on improving muscle strength and joint flexibility in patients, as well as reducing stiffness and pain symptoms. Conclusion: It is recommended to implement nursing care for stroke patients by applying Evidence-Based Nursing (EBN), specifically: Range of Motion.

Background & Objective: Bronchopneumonia is an inflammation of the lung parenchyma caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, or foreign objects. Simple inhalation therapy involves administering medication in the form of vapor into the respiratory tract using simple materials and methods. Method: This study is a case study with a qualitative descriptive approach, conducted in the Wijaya Kusuma Atas ward of Kardinah Tegal General Hospital. Data were obtained through nursing care assessment and documentation of patients with bronchopneumonia who were hospitalized and experienced airway clearance disorders. The intervention involved administering warm steam therapy using eucalyptus essential oil aromatherapy for 10–15 minutes over three days. Result: The case study results showed an improvement in airway clearance effectiveness in patients receiving eucalyptus essential oil steam therapy. Conclusion: Warm steam therapy using eucalyptus essential oil aromatherapy is effective as an additional intervention to address airway clearance issues in patients with bronchopneumonia.

Background & Objective: Lymphadenopathy is the enlargement of lymph nodes or a condition in which lymph nodes become enlarged to a size greater than 1 cm and the epicondylar lymph nodes are palpable with a size greater than 5 mm, which is an abnormal condition. Method: This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design with a nursing perspective. Result: The case study results indicated that warm compresses were effective in reducing acute pain in An. N.S.A. with lymphadenopathy. Conclusion: After receiving nursing care for 4 days, the evaluation results for the initial diagnosis were supported by the client's subjective data stating that the pain was no longer felt, reinforced by objective data showing a body temperature of 36.5°C, a pulse rate of 95 beats per minute, a respiration rate of 20 breaths per minute, and no further pain reported on the pain scale. The assessment results indicated that the issue was resolved, and the intervention plan was discontinued as the intervention had been implemented for 4 days. In the second diagnostic evaluation, the subjective findings indicated that the client's family reported that the child had finished their meal portion. This was supported by objective data showing that the patient did not appear pale and had finished their meal portion. The assessment concluded that the issue had been resolved, and the intervention plan was discontinued as the necessary actions had been implemented over the 4-day period.

Background & Objective: Bronchopneumonia is one of the most common forms of lower respiratory tract infections in children and often causes ineffective airway clearance due to secretions buildup. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions using aromatherapy inhalation therapy in improving airway clearance in children with bronchopneumonia. Method: Descriptive, applying the results of previous case studies, using a pediatric nursing care approach and the innovative intervention of aromatherapy inhalation therapy. Result: Significant effectiveness was demonstrated, marked by a decrease in respiratory rate from 44 breaths per minute to 32 breaths per minute, more effective coughing, and reduced rales on lung auscultation. Conclusion: Aromatherapy inhalation therapy intervention was proven to help thin secretions and facilitate mucus clearance. Therefore, this intervention can be considered an alternative supportive measure in pediatric nursing care for children with bronchopneumonia experiencing airway clearance disorders.
