Abstract

This research aims to explore the use of digital technology in the management of learning quality at SMK Negeri 1 Plered, with a focus on the implementation of the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle in improving the quality of education as initiated by Deming and Sallis. The approach used is qualitative with an exploratory case study method, which allows researchers to explore a deep understanding of the application of digital technology in vocational schools. This research was carried out at SMK Negeri 1 Plered, Purwakarta Regency, West Java, with the main data source involving 6 informants, namely the Principal, Deputy Head of Curriculum, teachers, and 3 students. The data collection technique involved in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, which were analyzed using interactive models from Miles and Huberman by triangulation to ensure the validity of the findings. The results show that the use of digital platforms such as Google Classroom, Canva, and YouTube plays an important role in increasing learning flexibility, student engagement, and 21st century skill development. However, the main challenges faced are the technology skills gap among teachers and students, as well as limited infrastructure. Suggested follow-up includes improved ongoing training for teachers and the provision of more adequate tools to ensure technology-based learning is optimally accessible to all students. This research provides implications for the development of technology-based learning strategies in other vocational schools to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

Transformasi digital di sektor pendidikan tinggi mendorong perlunya sistem manajemen yang terintegrasi guna mendukung peningkatan mutu layanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Sistem Informasi Manajemen Mutu Terpadu (SIP) dalam mendukung peningkatan kualitas layanan di perguruan tinggi melalui pendekatan digital. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur terhadap sumber-sumber relevan lima tahun terakhir, termasuk jurnal nasional terakreditasi dan publikasi institusi pendidikan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa SIP berkontribusi signifikan dalam efisiensi administrasi akademik, transparansi data, peningkatan akuntabilitas, serta pengambilan keputusan berbasis bukti (evidence-based). SIP juga membantu pemetaan kinerja dosen dan mahasiswa, mendukung proses akreditasi, serta memperkuat kapasitas institusi dalam pengelolaan riset dan inovasi. Namun demikian, keberhasilan implementasi SIP sangat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti kualitas teknologi yang digunakan, komitmen pimpinan, kesiapan sumber daya manusia, dukungan kebijakan eksternal, serta ketersediaan infrastruktur. Oleh karena itu, penguatan regulasi, pelatihan SDM, evaluasi berkala, serta investasi berkelanjutan dalam sistem digital menjadi aspek penting untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan efektivitas SIP. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan model implementasi SIP yang adaptif terhadap konteks lokal masing-masing perguruan tinggi, serta pentingnya kolaborasi antarlembaga dalam mengembangkan praktik terbaik untuk mendukung transformasi digital di sektor pendidikan tinggi. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi strategis bagi para pengambil kebijakan dan praktisi pendidikan dalam merancang kebijakan mutu yang berorientasi pada pemanfaatan teknologi informasi.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This Community Service activity aims to improve the understanding and ability of elementary school teachers in implementing deep learning in mathematics subjects in the digital era. Problems faced by partners include teachers' low understanding of the concept of deep learning and low literacy and numeracy skills of students. Implementation methods include lectures, training, seminars, and discussion forums to strengthen teacher competencies related to the concepts, theories, and implementation of deep learning-based learning. The results of the activity show an increase in teacher knowledge and skills in designing more interactive, contextual, and student-centered mathematics learning. In addition, ongoing discussion forums provide support for teachers in overcoming implementation obstacles in the field. This program contributes to encouraging improvements in the quality of mathematics learning in elementary schools and teacher readiness to face educational challenges in the digital era.   Keywords: Training, Deep Learning, Mathematics, Learning, Digital Era   ABSTRAK Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan guru sekolah dasar dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran deep learning pada mata pelajaran matematika di era digital. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra meliputi rendahnya pemahaman guru terhadap konsep deep learning serta rendahnya kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup ceramah, pelatihan, seminar, dan forum diskusi untuk memperkuat kompetensi guru terkait konsep, teori, serta penerapan pembelajaran berbasis deep learning. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam merancang pembelajaran matematika yang lebih interaktif, kontekstual, dan berpusat pada siswa. Selain itu, forum diskusi yang berkelanjutan memberi dukungan bagi guru dalam mengatasi kendala penerapan di lapangan. Abstract

Transformasi pendidikan abad ke-21 menuntut peningkatan kualitas layanan pendidikan yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi dan kebutuhan peserta didik, sehingga pengembangan SDM pendidik menjadi isu yang sangat urgensi dan relevan untuk dikaji. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tantangan serta meruamuskan strategi pengembangan SDM pendidik dalam meningkatkan layanan pendidikan abad ke-21 melalui kajian literatur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode systematic literature review (SLR), di mana data dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber ilmiah seperti jurnal bereputasi, buku akademik, dan laporan lembaga internasional. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penelusuran database ilmiah dengan kata kunci tertentu, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan pendekatan thematic analysis untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan tema utama. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa tantangan utama dalam pengembangan SDM pendidik meliputi rendahnya kompetensi digital, keterbatasan akses pelatihan berkelanjutan, serta kurangnya dukungan institusional. Adapun strategi yang efektif meliputi pelatihan berbasis kebutuhan, pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan, serta pemanfaatan teknologi dan komunitas belajar profesional. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis dalam memperkuat konsep pengembangan SDM berbasis kebutuhan dan kontribusi praktis dalam memberikan rekomendasi bagi pengambil kebijakan dan lembaga pendidikan untuk meningkatkan mutu layanan pendidikan. Kesimpulannya, pengembangan SDM pendidik merupakan faktor krusial dalam mewujudkan layanan pendidikan yang berkualitas dan relevan dengan tuntutan abad ke-21. Penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya kajian lanjutan berbasis data empiris untuk menguji efektivitas strategi yang diusulkan serta memperluas konteks penelitian pada berbagai jenjang pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to critically examine the implementation of the School Operational Assistance (BOS) policy as regulated in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation (Permendikbudristek) No. 63 of 2023, with a specific focus on the context of SDN Sindangsari III. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that although the administrative aspects of the BOS policy, particularly the preparation and reporting of the School Activity and Budget Plan (RKAS), adhere to formal regulatory standards, its practical implementation remains characterized by principal-centered decision-making and limited substantive engagement from external stakeholders. The BOS funds are predominantly allocated to routine operational expenditures, while strategic programs—such as teacher capacity development and digital learning initiatives—have not received sufficient priority. Moreover, the evaluation process is primarily administrative in nature and lacks a reflective, participatory approach that engages all relevant actors. Conceptually, the study reinforces critiques of the uniformity-based allocation model, which fails to address the contextual complexity and structural constraints of small schools. In response, the study recommends a reformulation of the BOS funding scheme based on a needs-based allocation approach, strengthening the managerial capacity of school leadership, and revitalizing evaluation mechanisms grounded in outcome-based and community-participatory principles. A more context-sensitive and equity-oriented policy framework would enable BOS to function as a strategic instrument for inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable educational transformation.

Abstract

This study aims to deeply understand the role of job satisfaction as a mediator in the relationship between the work environment and leadership style on teacher performance. A qualitative approach was used to uncover the experiences, perceptions, and dynamics experienced by teachers in the context of the work environment and leadership style applied in schools. The results of the study indicate that job satisfaction plays an important role in strengthening the positive influence of the work environment and leadership style on teacher performance. Teachers who feel satisfied with their work tend to be more motivated and perform optimally, especially when supported by a conducive work environment and an inspirational leadership style. These findings emphasize the importance of paying attention to psychological and social aspects in improving teacher performance through appropriate management of the work environment and leadership style. This study contributes to the development of educational management theory and leadership practice in school environments.
