Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Pekalongan adalah salah satu sekolah yang menerapkan tutor sebaya sebagai metode pembelajaran andalan untuk mensukseskan Ujian Nasional kelas XII. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi yang dimiliki siswa Kelas XII IPA Tahun 2015/2016 terhadap penerapan metode pembelajaran tutor sebaya pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi. Pengambilan data penelitian dengan triangulasi teknik yaitu menggunakan angket, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data hasil teknik triangulasi dengan model Miles and Huberman. Hasil observasi menggunakan teknik angket dan wawancara menyatakan bahwa pelaksanaan Tutor Sebaya Biologi sudah baik dan mendukung adanya gambaran positif yang dimiliki siswa. Hasil data dokumentasi mendukung persepsi positif yang dimiliki siswa. Kesimpulannya adalah siswa kelas XII memiliki persepsi positif terhadap penerapan metode pembelajaran tutor sebaya pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi, sehingga penerapan tutor sebaya pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi untuk mata pelajaran lain yang diujikan khusunya di SMA N 1 Pekalongan. SMA 1 (Senior High School 1) Pekalongan has been implementing peer tutoring as the main learning method to improve the students’s National Examination achievement. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of the XII grade Science student of 2015/2016 academic year on the implementing of peer tutoring as learnig method in Biology subject. Data was collected by triangulation technique using questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation. Data was analyzed using Miles and Huberman technique. The result of Observation using technique questionnaires and interviews that the implementation of Peer Tutoring was a good practice and can support the existence of positive envision of student. Similary, the documentation support the high participation of student. It was concluded that XII grade Science students have a positive perception of the implementation of peer tutoring as learning method in Biology Subject, and it was suggested to implement the peer tutoring in other subject Examined Nationally especially in SMA N 1 Pekalongan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Tutorial Berbantuan Kuis Interaktif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem gerak manusia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experimental design. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan pola pretest posttest design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Pamotan. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive sampling dan didapatkan sampel kelas XI IPA-1 dan XI IPA-3 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  Hasil perhitungan N-gain pada kelas XI IPA-1 dan kelas XI IPA-3, menunjukkan > 85 siswa mencapai N-gain > 0,3 dengan kriteia sedang sampai tinggi, dan > 85% siswa hasil belajarnya mencapai nilai >80. Hasil analisis korelasi diketahui bahwa pada kelas XI IPA-1 dan kelas XI IPA-3 rhitung > rtabel, maka terdapat hubungan antara N-gain dan nilai posttest siswa dengan kriteria hubungan sangat kuat. Hasil analisis aspek afektif dan psikomotorik siswa kelas XI IPA-1 dan kelas XI IPA-3 termasuk dalam kriteria sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran tutorial berbantuan kuis interaktif efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem gerak manusia di SMA Negeri 1 Pamotan. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Model Learning Tutorial Assisted Interactive Quiz to improve student learning outcomes in the matter of human motion system. Abstract

Proses pembelajaran di SMA 1 Lasem masih berpusat pada guru (Teacher Centered Learning). Permasalahan pembelajaran ini dapat diatasi dengan menerapkan kegiatan laboratorium berbasis inkuiri. Melalui kegiatan laboratorium, siswa dapat mengamati fenomena, merumuskan masalah, membuat hipotesis, menguji hipotesis dengan melakukan percobaan, menganalisis data, dan membuat kesimpulan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre Eksperimen dengan desain One Shot Case Study . Penelitian menggunakan sampel 64 siswa kelas XI SMA N 1 Lasem. Data pada penelitian ini meliputi data aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar siswa, tanggapan siswa dan guru. Data aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar siswa dan tanggapan siswa dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif, sedangkan data tanggapan guru dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lebih dari 75% siswa sangat aktif sebesar 89,84%. T erdapat 89,06% siswa mencapai ketuntasan belajar , dan lebih dari 75% siswa memberikan tanggapan yang sangat baik terhadap pembelajaran. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan laboratorium berbasis inkuiri efektif diterapkan pada pembelajaran materi sistem pernapasan manusia di SMA N 1 Lasem Learning process in SMA N 1 Lasem still centre on teacher (Teacher Centered Learning). This problem could be minimalized by implementing of laboratory acivities based on inquiry. Through the activities, students could explore the phenomenons, formulate problems, propose hypotheses, design and do the testing hypotheses ways, organize and analize the data and also make the conclusion. This research was Pre experimental with One Shot Case Study design. The research sample consist of 64 students of SMA N 1 Lasem on XI grade student. The data included student activities, final grade of students, student and teacher responses. Activities, final grade and student responses analized using quantitative descriptive analysis, but teacher responses analized using descriptive analysis.The result of research showed that >75% students weere very active at the level of 89,84%. Classically,  student completeness level was very good at the level of 89,06% and >75% student and teacher responses were very good during the learning. It could be concluded that laboratory activities based on inquiry was effective to be applied for human respiratory system course in SMA N 1 Lasem.plan

Abstract

This research aims to test the feasibility of the character based adventure education game using the digestive system study materials. The method of this research is Research and Development. The research  media was explored by experts and tested in two stages, i.e:  the stage of small-scale testing and large-scale testing. The subjects of small-scale testing are 20 students of eighth grade in SMP N 1 Wonopringgo and the subjects of large-scale testing  are 2 classes in SMP N 21 Semarang. Data for the media feasibility test was collected from media experts and material experts as well as teachers and students. The media effectiveness was interpreted from student learning outcomes. The student character values were ​​obtained from the tests, assignments and questionnaires. Data analysis showed that the media was feasible and the media was categorized as good. None of the teachers and students responded that lesser than “well” criteria. More than 85.45% of students received learning outcomes of above KKM (80). The results of student character analysis showed more than 75% of  students high scores on each character. It was concluded that the media developed is feasible as a learning media in junior high school. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kelayakan multimedia game edukasi berbentuk adventure berbasis pendidikan karakter pada materi sistem pencernaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development. Dalam penelitian ini media yang dikembangkan ditelaah oleh pakar dan diujicobakan melalui 2 tahap, yaitu tahap uji coba skala kecil dan uji coba skala besar. Subjek uji coba skala kecil yaitu 20 siswa kelas VIII di SMP N 1 Wonopringgo dan subjek uji coba skala besar yaitu 2 kelas siswa kelas VIII di SMP N 21 Semarang. Data kelayakan media diperoleh dari pakar media dan materi;  guru dan siswa. Data keefektifan media diperoleh dari hasil belajar siswa. Data nilai karakter siswa diperoleh dari tes, penugasan dan angket. Hasil analisis kelayakan media menunjukan bahwa media layak digunakan ditunjukkan dari, penilaian oleh ahli media dan ahli materi memperoleh kriteria layak. Guru dan 100% siswa memberikan tanggapan sangat baik dan baik. 85,45% siswa memperoleh hasil belajar diatas KKM (80). Lebih dari 75% siswa memiliki skor karakter yang tinggi pada masing-masing karakter. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah media game edukasi yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di SMP.

Abstract

Hasil belajar yang kurang maksimal menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang kurang maksimal pula. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa adalah problem based learning. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi sistem ekskresi. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Penelitian quasi eksperimental ini menggunakan posttest only control design. Variabel yang diukur adalah kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang diperoleh dari skor posttest yang diuji korelasi biserial dan uji-t. Aktivitas siswa, tanggapan siswa, dan tanggapan guru dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, rata-rata skor kemampuan berpikir kritis kelas eksperimen adalah 76,93 sedangkan kontrol adalah 65,67. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pembelajaran biologi model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di SMAN 1 Singorojo. Hasil uji korelasi biserial menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran biologi model Problem Based Learning memiliki hubungan yang kuat terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Analisis aktivitas siswa secara deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa kelas ekskperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran biologi model problem based learning berpengaruh meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Students’ achievement which is not maximal can show that their critical thinking skill is not maximal too. One of learning model that can improve students’ critical thinking skills is problem based learning. This study aims to determine the effect of problem based learning to students critical thinking skills on the excretory system. Samples of this study were XI IPA 1 as an experimental class and XI IPA 2 as the control class. This is a quasi-experimental research with posttest only control design. Variable that measured are students critical thinking skills obtained from the posttest scores than analyzed with biserial correlation and t-test. Students’ activity, students and teacher responses were analyzed by descriptive qualitative percentage. Based on the result, critical thinking skills average scores of experimental class was 76,93, while the control class was 65,67. The result of t-test showed that there is a significant influence between biology learning model of problem based learning to the students’ critical thinking skill at SMAN 1 Singorojo. Biserial correlation test showed that biology learning model of problem based learning have a strong relationship to the students’ critical thinking skills. Students’ activity analyzed showed that experimental class is higher than control class. The conclusion of this research is biology learning model of problem based learning have a effect there is increase students’ critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Mengkonsumsi minyak lemuru dan minyak sawit secara terus menerus, diduga dapat menyebabkan kerusakan mikroanatomi hati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur mikroanatomi hati dan kadar kolesterol total plasma darah tikus putih strain Wistar paska suplementasi minyak lemuru dan minyak sawit. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental, dengan rancangan acak lengkap. Penelitian menggunakan 25 ekor tikus usia 3 bulan. Masing-masing diberi minyak sawit dan minyak lemuru sebanyak 0%+0%, 5%+5%, 10%+10%, 15%+15%, dan 20%+20% secara per oral selama 28 hari. Data kadar kolesterol total plasma darah, berat badan tikus dan berat hati tikus dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan ANAVA satu arah, dengan tingkat kesalahan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian minyak sawit dan minyak lemuru bersifat toksik terhadap hati dan dapat menurunan kadar kolesterol total plasma darah. Sifat toksik minyak lemuru dan minyak sawit terhadap hati dapat dilihat dari adanya perubahan struktur mikroanatomi hati, makroskopis hati tikus, dan berat hati tikus. Kerusakan struktur mikroanatomi hati yang ditemukan berupa kerusakan sel hati (nekrosis hati) serta melebarnya sinusoid. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pemberian minyak sawit dan minyak lemuru mengakibatkan kerusakan mikroanatomi berupa nekrosis sel hati, sehingga mempengaruhi makroskopis hati (perubahan tekstur dan warna), berat hati, dan mempengaruhi berat badan tikus.Consuming lemuru oil and palm oil continuously could be expected to cause damage to the liver micro-anatomy. This study aimed to determine the micro-anatomy structure of liver and blood plasma total cholesterol level of white rats Wistar strain by post-oil supplementation of lemuru and palm oil. This research was experimental, with a completely randomized design. The research used 25 mice aged 3 months. Each was given a palm oil and lemuru oil as much as 0%+0%, 5%+5%, 10%+10%, 15%+15%, and 20%+20% orally for 28 days. Blood plasma levels of total cholesterol, body weight of rats and mice liver weight quantitatively analyzed using one-way ANOVA, with an error rate of 5%. The results showed that the palm oil and lemuru oil was toxic to the liver and decreased the blood plasma total cholesterol levels. Toxicological properties lemuru oil and palm oil to the liver can be seen from the change in the micro-anatomy structure of heart, liver macroscopic rat, and mouse liver weight. Micro-anatomy structural damage on liver cells were found in the form liver necrosis as well as the widening of the sinusoid. The conclusion of this study was the provision of palm oil and lemuru oil was caused damage to microscopic liver cell necrosis form, thus affecting the macroscopic liver (changes in texture and color), a heavy heart, and affect the body weight of rats.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah menghasilkan model meksint korefsi dengan pendekatan Jalajah Alam Sekitar pada pembelajaran Struktur Tubuh Hewan sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai salah satu alternatif kegiatan perkuliahan Struktur Tubuh Hewan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research& Development dengan tahapan sebagai berikut: planning, design, dan development dengan 2 tahap evaluasi yaitu: uji alpha, uji betha, dan uji lapangan. Hasil uji alpha pada model pembelajaran meksint korefsi oleh ahli pembelajaran biologi memperoleh skor sebesar 3.13 dan hasil uji betha oleh mahasiswa sebagai pengguna memperoleh skor sebesar 3.64. Hasil uji t test antara dua rombel mahasiswa responden uji lapangan diperoleh thitung= 2.94 ? ttabel= 2.39 (? = 0.01; n = 60). Dengan demikian model meksint korefsi dengan pendekatan Jalajah Alam Sekitar layak digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif pilihan model pembelajaran dalam proses perkuliahan Struktur Tubuh Hewan, sehingga disarankan perlu adanya proses diseminasi model tersebutThe purpose of the study was to develop the meksint korefsi model with Jelajah Alam Sekitar* approach in the Animal Anatomy, for the alternative model in Animal Anatomy lecture. This is a Research and Development, with the following stages: planning, design and development with three stages of evaluation are: alpha testing, beta testing, and field testing. Alpha test results on the learning model meksint korefsi by expert of instructional biologists with scores was 3.13 and beta test results by the students as users gain score of 3.64. Field test results were analyzed by t-test statistical tvalue = 2.94 ? ttable = 2.39 (? = 0:01, n = 60). The result showed that the meksint korefsi model with Jelajah Alam Sekitar* approach was a feasible model in the learning of Animal Anatomy, so it was suggested to disseminate this model.

Abstract

Berbagai macam kegiatan industri dan teknologi di wilayah Tapak Kelurahan Tugurejo Kecamatan Tugu yang ada saat ini apabila tidak disertai dengan program pengelolaan limbah yang baik akan memungkinkan terjadinya pencemaran air. Ikan sebagai salah satu biota air dapat dijadikan sebagai suatu indikator tingkat pencemaran yang terjadi di dalam perairan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi air tambak dan kerusakan struktur mikroanatomi insang ikan bandeng yang ada di tambak wilayah Tapak Kelurahan Tugurejo Kecamatan Tugu Semarang. Penelitian dilakukan di tambak wilayah Tapak Kelurahan Tugurejo Kecamatan Tugu Semarang, laboratorium BBTPPI Semarang dan laboratorium kedokteran hewan UGM. Pengambilan data menggunakan purposive random sampling. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian terhadap faktor lingkungan ikan bandeng masih berada dalam ambang batas yang ditentukan namun hasil pengamatan struktur mikroanatomi insang menunjukkan terdapat kerusakan struktur mikroanatomi berupa edema, hyperplasia, atrofi, fusi lamella, curling dan nekrosis. Hal ini diduga karena zat toksik lain yang ada diperairan namun tidak terukur dalam penelitian. Disimpulkan bahwa pencemaran air tambak di wilayah Tapak Kelurahan Tugurejo Kecamatan Tugu Semarang masih berada pada pencemaran tingkat awal. Pada hasil pengamatan struktur mikroanatomi insang ikan bandeng kerusakan yang terjadi pada jaringan disebabkan lebih karena kerusakan struktur mikroanatominya.A wide variety of industrial and technological activities in Tapak Area Tugurejo Village Tugu District could result in water pollution if they are not accompanied by a good waste management program. Fish as one of aquatic biota can be used as an indicator of the level of pollution in the waters. The aim of this research is to determine the condition of pond water and mikroanatomi structural damage of milkfish gills in Tapak pond. Data retrieved using purposive random sampling. Data analysis is qualitative descriptive. The result of environmental factors milkfish showed that environmental factors milkfish still in the threshold which is determined, but observations mikroanatomi gill structure showed that there are mikroanatomi structural damage in the form of edema, hyperplasia, atrophy, fusion lamella, curling, and necrosis. It is thought to be caused by other toxic substances that exist in waters, but it was not measured in the research. It was concluded that water pollution in Tapak pond still at the initial level of pollution. In observations milkfish gill structure mikroanatomi showed that tissue damage caused by damage structure its self.

Abstract

Allethrin  is  one  of  synthetic  pyrethroid types which  is  used  in many mosquito repellents and has toxic potential. The aim of this research was to examine the infl uence of vitamin C and E antioxidant activity to the sperm quality of allethrin-induced albino rats. This research used a post-test randomized design. The population of the research were  8  hr/day  allethrin-induced male  albino  rats. The  sample  of  the  research was allethrin-induced male albino rats which were divided into 4 groups, i.e. group I was the control group, group II was the group treated with 1.8 mg vitamin C per day, group II was the group treated with 1.44 mg vitamin E per day, and group IV was treated with a combination of 1.8 mg vitamin C per day and 1.44 mg vitamin E per day. The duration of the treatment was 45 days. The sperm sample was taken in day 46. The data consisted of sperm count or amount, sperm motility, sperm viability, and sperm morphology, and then was analyzed with ANOVA followed by BNT. The result showed that vitamin C and E antioxidants signifi cantly infl uenced the the sperm quality of the 45-day mosquito repellent-induced rats. Overall, the allethrin-induced albino rats treated with vitamin C and E antioxidants were better in maintaining the sperm quality than single treatment of vitamin antioxidants.Keywords: allethrin, vitamin C, vitamin E, antioxidant, sperm  quality.
