Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan pengaruh latihan lari melewati bilah dengan latihan lari mengangkat paha terhadap peningkatan power tungkai pada Siswa SMP Negeri 3 Kawali, sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian di atas, maka penulis menggunakan metode eksperimen. Populasi dan sampel  penelitian ini adalah siswa  putra kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Kawali yang berjumlah 58 orang, dari populasi tersebut diambil sebagian untuk dijadikan sampel dengan yaitu sebanyak 30 orang siswa dengan menggunakan teknik acak. Penelitian yang digunakan sebagai pengumpul data adalah tes standing broad jump, Adapun hasil pengolahan data dalam uji hipotesis diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut; 1. Latihan lari melewati bilah memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan power tungkai pada siswa SMP Negeri 3 Kawali. Hal ini terbukti dengan diperolehnya hasil penelitian, yang menunjukkan bahwa latihan lari melewati bilah memiliki nilai t hitung 3,06  lebih besar daripada t-tabel (1,70) pada tingkat kepercayaan 0,05 dengan dk= n1 + n2 - 2= 28. 2. Latihan lari mengangkat paha memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan power tungkai pada siswa SMP Negeri 3 Kawali. Hal ini terbukti dengan hasil penelitian, proses latihan lari mengangkat paha memiliki nilai t hitung 2,27 lebih besar daripada t-tabel (1,76) pada tingkat kepercayaan 0,05 dengan dk= n1 + n2 - 2= 28. 3. Tidak terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara latihan lari melewati bilah dengan lari mengangkat paha terhadap peningkatan power tungkai pada siswa SMP Negeri 3 Kawali, dimana hasil penghitungan dan uji signifikansi dengan menggunakan uji rata-rata dua pihak yaitu uji-t, diperoleh t-hitung 1,35 yang lebih kecil dari t-tabel (1,70) pada tingkat kepercayaan 0,95 dengan dk = 28.This study aims to determine whether there was a difference in the effect of running through the bar with running exercise lifting the thighs on the increase in leg power in students of Junior High School 3 Kawali. In accordance with the research objectives above, the authors use the experimental method. The population and sample of this study were 58 male students of class VIII Junior High School 3 Kawali, and from this population a part of which was taken to be the sample by as many as 30 students using random techniques. The research used as data collector is the standing broad jump test. The results of data processing in hypothesis testing are as follows; 1. Running through blades has a significant effect on increasing leg power in students of Junior High School 3 Kawali. This was proven by the results of the research, which shows that the training to run through the bar has a value of t count 3.06 greater than the t-table (1.70) at a confidence level of 0.05 with dk = n1 + n2 - 2 = 28. 2. Running exercise to lift thighs has a significant effect on increasing leg power in students of Junior High School 3 Kawali. This was evidenced by the results of the study, the process of running training to lift the thighs has a t value of 2.27 greater than the t-table (1.76) at a confidence level of 0.05 with dk = n1 + n2 - 2 = 28. 3. No There is a difference in the effect of running through the bar with running lifting the thighs on the increase in leg power in Junior High School 3 Kawali students, where the results of the calculation and significance test using the two-party average test, namely the t-test, obtained a t-count of 1.35 which smaller than t-table (1.70) at a confidence level of 0.95 with dk = 28.

Abstract

The aim of the research was to prove the overhead throw exercise for arm power output. Pre-experimental design is a method of this research by providing treatment in 18 meetings with only one group (one group pretest-posttest design). PSGC Ciamis Regency is the author's place to carry out research. The number of football players included in the research was 28 players. Providing a measuring tool to football players, namely the throw in. Data analysis was processed using SPSS series 26. The results of the study showed that there was a better change in the impact of overhead throw training on the arm power results of PSGC football players in Ciamis Regency. The conclusion is that the results of overhead throw training can change to become better throw-ins with an increase in the power performance of both arms.Tujuan penelitian untuk membukikan latihan oerhead throw untuk hasil kerja power lengan. Pre-experimental design adalah cara penelitian ini dengan memberikan perlakuan sebanyak 18 kali pertemuan dengan hanya satu kelompok (one group pretest-postest design). PSGC Kabupaten Ciamis adalah tempat penulis untuk melaksanakan penelitian. Jumlah pemain sepakbola yang diikutsertakan pada penelitian yaitu 28 pemain. Pemberian alat ukur pada pemain sepakbola yaitu throw in. Pengolahan analisis data menggunakan SPSS seri 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya perubahan yang lebih baik dari dampak pelatihan overhead throw untuk hasil power lengan pemain sepakbola PSGC Kabupaten Ciamis. Kesimpulannya yaitu Hasil pelatihan overhead throw mampu merubah menjadi lebih baik pada lemparan ke dalam (throw in) dengan adanya peningkatan penampilan power  ke-dua lengan.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the learning outcomes and discipline profiles of students from the Faculty of Sports and Health Education (FPOK UPI) who participated in Outward Bound activities. Using a quantitative descriptive method and survey techniques, data were collected from 30 students across three study programs through Likert-scale questionnaires and academic records. The results show that most students achieved Grade Point Averages (GPA) in the "satisfactory" to "very satisfactory" categories and demonstrated high levels of discipline. The Outward Bound program positively contributed to both academic achievement and character development, particularly in fostering discipline, responsibility, and teamwork. These findings support the integration of Outward Bound into higher education character-building programs as an effective experiential learning strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Outdoor Education on improving students' self-confidence, particularly in the rational and realistic aspects. A quasi-experimental method with a Randomized Pretest-Posttest Comparison Group Design was employed. A total of 40 junior high school students were divided into experimental and control groups. The research instrument was a self-confidence questionnaire based on Lauster’s theory. The results showed that the experimental group experienced significant improvements in both aspects compared to the control group. Outdoor Education activities based on experiential learning proved effective in enhancing students' logical thinking, self-awareness, and realistic acceptance of their limitations. This study recommends the integration of Outdoor Education into school-based character education programs.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the effect of training using the inquiry method and reciprocal method on improving upper serve skills in volleyball games. The research method used is an experiment with a true-experimental design and a two group pretest-posttest approach. The research sample consisted of 24 students of class XII SMK Ma'arif NU Banjar Patroman who were divided into two groups, each getting treatment with inquiry and reciprocal methods. The research instrument used a volleyball top serve test. The results of data analysis showed that both methods had a significant effect on improving upper serve skills. The reciprocal method provides a higher improvement (15.00%) than the inquiry method (11.67%). The t-test showed that the t-count of the inquiry method (4.10), reciprocal method (4.72), and the comparison of the two (2.09) were greater than the t-tables (1.80 and 1.72). Thus, both methods are effective, but the reciprocal method is superior in improving volleyball top serve skills.

Abstract

The addition of performance to improve body balance of both leg muscles as the goal of training two independent variables, namely one leg diagonal chop and single leg balance twist. This study applied a pre-experimental design and used a two-group design plan given before and after training or treatment. The research location was at MAN 3 Ciamis Regency. The sample taken in this study were athletes aged 17-18 years totaling 20 male futsal extracurricular. The test instrument used was a standing stork test-blind. The statistical process used SPSS 26. This study resulted in: 1. one leg diagonal chop training has a significant effect on improving body balance. 2. Single leg balance twist training has a significant effect on improving body balance. 3. There is a significant difference between one leg diagonal chop training and single leg balance twist training on improving body balance. Conclusion: One Leg Diagonal Chop Training with Single Leg Balance Twist Training on Improving Body Balance and can be used as one of the recommended training for body balance.

This research was inspired by the challenges in managing physical education facilities at SMK LPS 1 Ciamis, particularly limited space and insufficient maintenance staff, which hinder the effectiveness of the learning process. The study aims to describe and analyze the planning, recording, maintenance, and supervision of sports facilities in relation to improving students’ learning outcomes. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The informants involved were the principal, vice principals for curriculum and facilities, and the physical education teacher. The findings reveal that planning, inventory, and maintenance have been implemented according to established indicators, although weaknesses remain, such as manual administrative processes and unscheduled supervision. Abstract

This study was driven by the low learning motivation of students, which is presumed to be associated with the less optimal teaching performance of Physical Education (PE) teachers at SD Negeri Tayem Timur 05. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of PE teachers’ teaching performance in enhancing students’ learning motivation, reviewed from the aspects of lesson planning, instructional implementation, as well as assessment and evaluation. The research applies a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, involving informants such as the school supervisor, principal, PE teacher, Islamic education teacher, and sixth-grade classroom teacher. The findings reveal that: (1) lesson planning by PE teachers has been aligned with curriculum standards; (2) teaching activities are carried out systematically, starting from the opening to the closing stage; and (3) assessment and evaluation are organized and conducted effectively, thereby contributing positively to the improvement of students’ learning motivation.
