Abstract

This research aims to find the teacher condition in teaching relating to the use of instructional media. This study used   descriptive qualitative method to gain the data in which the the researcher play his role as the major Instrument and put the teachers as the key informant while the secondary informant is the principal. The results of the research shows that the teachers were satisfied with what he/she has always do, and they feel there is no need to be changed or developed on the pattern of teaching and learning with the help of the media. This research conclude that teachers  assumee that teaching does not suported by various types of media and it make them have lack ability to use the learning media.  Finally, this reseach recomend the teacher to change their habbit in using the media while the school leader provide them with opportunities to utilize the media in their teaching process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce pleasing module geometry and produce products aesthetically that are useful and marketable. From the results of the research conducted in subjects Mathematics Learning Class Advanced Class, this research is a research development by using the 4D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). Phase in disseminate do not apply in this study. It was designed to see whether the module is valid or not. Then, do a trial expert, that expert Math Classroom Learning Module design and aesthetics in Advanced Mathematics Learning modules. Aspects which tested to the experts are the aspect of the material in the module, aspects of presentation, and aspects of advantages which is marketable. The results showed that the learning module of Math by experts already valid and aesthetically valuable. Based on the research result, it can be concluded that the modules of Classroom lectures Advanced Mathematics Learning Study Program Elementary School Teacher FKIP Bung Hatta University has a valid and aesthetically valuable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam rangka untuk mengungkap ketersediaan alat peraga dan KIT IPA disekolah, penggunaan, dan kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan alat peraga dan Kit IPA SD dalampembelajaran di SD terutama di kelas tinggi. Karena kebanyakan guru-guru di SD dalam pembelajaran IPAjarang menggunakan alat peraga dan KIT IPA agar siswa lebih paham, tertarik dan senang dalam belajar.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang dilakukan di beberapa SD Negeri yang berada di KecamatanPadang Utara dan Nanggalo kota Padang. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif denganmenggunakan teknik pengamatan langsung ke sekolah melihat penggunaan dan ketersediaan alat peraga dan KitIPA. Selain itu teknik wawancara juga dilakukan dengan beberapa informan yang berkaitan seperti guru kelas,kepala sekolah, dan teknik dokumentasi guna menunjang data hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa terdapat rata-rata 55% guru yang menggunakan alat peraga dan 40% guru yang menggunakan KIT IPAdalam pembelajaran, terdapat rata-rata sebanyak 60% alat peraga yang tersedia dan 52.5% KIT IPA yangtersedia di sekolah, dan terdapat rata-rata 55% guru yang mampu menggunakan alat peraga dan 42.5% guru yangmampu menggunakan KIT IPA di Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Padang Utara dan Nanggalo kota Padang.Disarankan agar beberapa sekolah memperbaharui dan melengkapi alat peraga dan KIT IPA di sekolahnya, danperlu diadakan pelatihan guru-guru se-Kecamatan Padang Utara dan Nanggalo untuk meningkatkan pengetahuandan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan alat peraga dan KIT IPA agar pembelajaran IPA lebih menarik,menyenangkan, dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Basically the school is a place of culture because the learning process is a civilizing process that is for students' academic achievement, to cultivate attitudes, knowledge, skills and traditions that exist in a cultural community. But in reality, the development of technology makes the loss of culture in students. For this reason, it is necessary to link learning with the culture of the area where students live. One of them is by making regional culture-based geometry modules. The purpose of this study was to look at the validity of the development of culture-based geometry modules in the South Coast region of West Sumatra. The instrument in this study is a validation sheet given to mathematicians and media experts. Based on the results of the three validators, the results of the validity of the culture-based Geometry module in the coastal areas south of West Sumatra that have been developed have yielded 89.3% with valid criteria.Keywords: Validity, Geometry Module, Regional Culture

Abstract

Education and life is a relationship between process and content, namely the process of cultural takeover in the sense of civilizing humans, another aspect of the function of education is to process culture into mental attitudes, behavior, and even the personality of students. Based on the Kompas news quote, the problem that occurs a sense of pride and concern for preserving culture is less embedded in Indonesia's young generation today. Their interest to learn it is lacking (Kompas, 2018) This has an impact on schools, one of the most important elements in schools is students. Students are less familiar with culture, especially the culture in the environment they live. Therefore it is necessary to develop a culture-based module in the Pesisir Selatan so that students do not only consider mathematics only abstract but also concrete. The purpose of this study is to see the effectiveness of using culture-based modules. This type of research is research and development (R&D). effectiveness is obtained by providing a test of learning outcomes after the use of regional culture-based modules. From the research results, it is found that the use of culture-based modules is very effective.

Abstract

Guru merupakan salah satu unsur terpenting dalam perwujudan kurikulum. Guru yang secara langsung berhubungan dengan objek pendidikan yaitu siswa. Individual siswa memiliki perbedaan yang unik. Perbedaan individu ini mencakup banyak hal yang terdiri dari fisik, tingkat intelegensi, kepribadian, psikologi, perbedaan kecakapan bahasa dan Gaya Belajar. Sebagai calon guru sekolah dasar, aspek ini sangat penting dipahami karena perbedaan individual ini akan terlihat dengan jelas ketika SD. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode studi kepustakaan untuk mengetahui pentingnya pemahaman individual differences bagi calon guru sekolah dasar. Untuk itu, mata kuliah yang diberikan sebagai dasar dalam pemahaman perbedaan individual ini seharusnya menjadi perhatian penting bagi calon guru khususnya sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the analysis of the impact of the implementation of the MBKM program on Educators at the Bung Hatta University PGSD FKIP Study Program in producing graduates who are tough to compete in the global era. The type of research used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data analysis used descriptive statistical techniques, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data is done by increasing the persistence and triangulation techniques. The results show that 1) Educators (Tendik) know that most of the policy content comes from the Ministry of Education and Culture's online channels (websites/websites, social media) and others from offline/online socialization activities organized by universities. 2) Tendik did not understand the contents of the policy on MBKM because he answered incorrectly the number of credits and semesters of MBKM implementation. 3) Implementation of the MBKM program on improving hard-skills and soft-skills for students is considered by Tendik to be lacking. 4) Tendik is satisfied with the MBKM program, but there are still many obstacles, such as funding, human resource capabilities and regulations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of learning motivation and student interest based on the background of the school are students who graduated from high school and vocational school graduates in the mathematics course II of the student learning outcomes are known from the Study Results Sheet (LHS) students. The research method used is quantitative research using expost facto approach. Population in this research is PGSD student of Bung Hatta University class of 2016. The sample was taken as many as 40 students covering 20 students with background from high school and 20 students from school background from SMK. The value of learning motivation and student learning interest obtained from the questionnaire and the value of student learning outcomes obtained from LHS. . Meanwhile, to know the effect of motivation on the results of study used F-test data analysis techniques. In the hypothesis test obtained that high school graduate student obtained F value is 3.603 with probability 0.048 <0.05. Because probabiltasnya less than 0.05 then H0 rejected means there is influence of learning motivation and interest in learning on high school graduate students. For students of SMK graduates obtained the value of F = 0.784 with probability 0.473> 0.05 then H0 accepted means there is no influence of motivation and interest in learning on students who graduate SMK

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya ketersediaan media yang ada di sekolah pada materi penjumalahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran Pohon pintar pada Materi Penjumlahan Pada Kelas I SDN 52 Parupuk Tabing memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis. Jenis penelitin ini adalah penelitian pengembangan, model penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan 4-D yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate tetapi pada penelitian ini hanya sampai tahap develop (pengembangan) dikarenakan keterbatasan waktu. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2019/2020 dengan materi penjumlahan. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi dan lembar praktikalitas (angket respon guru dan siswa). Pada proses validasi, media divalidasi oleh satu orang ahli materi dan satu orang ahli media. Pada proses praktikalitas, media diujicobakan kepada 21 orang siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pengembangan media pembelajaran Pohon Pintar pada materi penjumlahan pada kelas I SD pada validasi materi memenuhi kriteria sangat valid dengan persentase penilaian sebesar 91%, dan memenuhi kriteria valid dengan persentase 85,5% pada validasi media. Media Pohon Pintar yang telah dikembangkan dikategorikan praktis oleh guru dengan rata-rata persentase 86,6% dan dikategorikan sangat praktis oleh peserta didik dengan persentase 95,4%. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Pohon Pintar pada materi penjumlahan pada kelas I SD valid dan praktis sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran
