<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze in-depth information about the Diaspora of the Manggarai People in Makassar City through the Cultural Workshop Approach. By using a qualitative descriptive approach and supported by a multisystemic approach model used to provide an explanation regarding the existence of the Manggarai Cultural Center in Makassar City. The results of the study recommend that community leaders of the Manggarai people in Makassar City optimize their resources in order to create new creativity in the Manggarai Cultural Center to maintain its existence through a social and cultural approach.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis informasi mendalam tentang Diaspora Orang Manggarai di Kota Makassar Melalui Pendekatan Sanggar Budaya. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif serta didukung model pendekatan multisistemik yang digunakan untuk memberikan penjelasan perihal eksistensi Sanggar Budaya Manggarai di Kota Makassar. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan agar tokoh masyarakat orang Manggarai di Kota Makassar lebih mengoptimalkan sumber daya yang dimiliki dalam rangka melahirkan kreativitas baru dalam Sanggar Budaya Manggarai guna mempertahankan eksistensinya melalui pendekatan sosial dan budaya.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the success of empowering fishing communities in the coastal area of Marusu District, Maros Regency. The results showed that the implementation of empowering fishing communities in the coastal areas of Marusu District, Maros Regency was by creating instruments that regulate the empowerment of coastal fishing communities in order to optimize the quality of the coastal environment covering social, economic and cultural aspects as well as being able to create a conducive atmosphere for the implementation of development in in order to provide access to various interests of fishing communities to optimize development in coastal areas.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keberhasilan pemberdayaan masyarakat nelayan di wilayah pesisir Kecamatan Marusu Kabupaten Maros. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pemberdayaan masyarakat nelayan di wilayah pesisir Kecamatan Marusu Kabupaten Maros adalah dengan cara membuat instrument yang mengatur pemberdayaan masyarakat nelayan wilayah pesisir agar dapat mengoptimalkan kualitas lingkungan pesisir melingkupi aspek sosial, ekonomi dan budaya serta mampu menciptakan suasana yang kondusif bagi pelaksanaan pembangunan dalam rangka memberikan akses berbagai kepentingan masyarakat nelayan untuk mengoptimalkan pembangunan di wilayah pesisir.]]>

<![CDATA[Digitalisation has become an integral part of people's daily lives, particularly with the significant impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the past, Public Relations (PR) primarily focused on public branding, catering mostly to a select audience. However, the rise of Digital Uses and Gratifications has led to a transformation in media dynamics, giving rise to a new paradigm known as Corporate Communications and Influencer Marketing. In this research, AI Machine learning and Pattern Analysis was employed to examine the patterns of the Influencer aspect within Public Relations. This emerging PR paradigm demonstrates the dynamic nature of the field as it expands to encompass new dimensions. Incorporating Influencer Relations to promote products requires integrating Corporate Communications skills to establish a thriving Influencer Relations industry. This highlights the evolving nature of PR in response to the changing media landscape, indicating the need for a comprehensive approach to harnessing the potential of digitalisation and Influencer Marketing in modern Public Relations practices.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to identify and analyze the power relations of prospective members of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) ahead of the 2024 General Election in Maros Regency. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The data collection process was obtained through direct observation in the field (observation) and in-depth interviews with various sources of research informants. The rationale is to use the theory of political representation which aims to identify and analyze the power relations of prospective DPRD members. The results of the research are that the power relations of DPRD member candidates ahead of the 2024 General Election in Maros Regency have a reciprocal influence in accessing power and generating support. Access to power is demonstrated through a network of top-level, middle-level and lowest-level authorities. Apart from that, the public space is also open for the collaboration process carried out with prospective DPRD members and their sympathizers in the political arena through access to power relations.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis relasi kuasa calon anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) jelang Pemilihan Umum 2024 di Kabupaten Maros. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskripstif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Proses pengumpulan datanya diperoleh melalui pengamatan langsung dilapangan (observasi) dan wawancara mendalam (indepth interview) dengan berbagai sumber informan penelitian. Adapun landasan pemikiran adalah menggunakan teori perwakilan politik yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis relasi kuasa calon anggota DPRD. Hasil penelitian adalah relasi kuasa calon anggota DPRD jelang Pemilihan Umum 2024 di Kabupaten Maros memiliki pengaruh secara resiprokal dalam mengakses kekuasaan dalam menghasilkan dukungan. Akses kekuasaan tersebut ditunjukkan melalui jaringan penguasa level atas, level menengah dan level terendah. Selain itu juga terbukanya ruang publik bagi proses kerjasama yang dilakukan bersama calon anggota DPRD dengan simpatisannya dalam arena politik melalui akses relasi kuasa.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the success of empowering fishing communities in the coastal areas of Marusu District, Maros Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with a multisystemic approach model used to provide an overview of the research location. A qualitative descriptive research approach is used to thoroughly analyze the author's main ideas about the subject in the form of discourse and context of specificity. The results showed that the implementation of empowering fishing communities in the coastal areas of Marusu District, Maros Regency, was by making instruments that regulate the empowerment of fishing communities. This is done to be able to optimize the quality of the coastal environment covering social, economic, and cultural aspects. In addition, the strategy can create an atmosphere conducive to the implementation of development to provide access to various interests of fishing communities to optimize development in coastal areas.]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to identify and analyze the social role of members of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) in implementing the aspirations of the people based on the Electoral District (Dapil) in development. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The data collection process was obtained through direct observation in the field (observation) and in-depth interviews with various sources of research informants. The rationale is to use the theory of political representation which aims to identify and analyze the roles, functions and duties of DPRD members. The results of the research are the social role of DPRD members in the form of supervising social assistance programs in the form of grants in the form of empowerment. Furthermore, from the role carried out by DPRD members, there is a control function over the government (executive), namely the implementation of social activities in the form of distribution of basic food aid for prosperous families, implementation of construction of building facilities and so on. Meanwhile, the social role of DPRD members is not yet optimal, which can be seen in the budgeting function, especially in the infrastructure sector. This condition can be seen in the existence of infrastructure development facilities.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis peran sosial anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) dalam rangka melaksanakan aspirasi masyarakat yang berbasis pada Daerah Pemilihan (Dapil) dalam pembangunan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskripstif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Proses pengumpulan datanya diperoleh melalui pengamatan langsung dilapangan (observasi) dan wawancara mendalam (indepth interview) dengan berbagai sumber informan penelitian. Adapun landasan pemikiran adalah menggunakan teori perwakilan politik yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis peran, fungsi dan tugas anggota DPRD. Hasil penelitian adalah peran sosial anggota DPRD dalam bentuk mengawasi program bantuan sosial berupa bantuan hibah berupa pemberdayaan. Selanjutnya, dari peran yang dijalankan oleh anggota DPRD terdapatnya fungsi control terhadap pemerintah (eksekutif) yaitu pelaksanaan kegiatan sosial berupa distribusi bantuan sembako bagi keluarga sejahtera, pelaksanaan pembangunan fasilitas gedung dan lain sebagainya. Sementara itu belum optimalnya peran sosial anggota DPRD nampak pada fungsi anggaran (budgeting), utamanya dibidang infrastruktur. Kondisi tersebut nampak pada masih terdapatnya fasilitas pembangunan infrastruktur.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis persepsi masyarakat terhadap kehidupan sosial ekonomi keluarga Tenaga Kerja Wanita di Kabupaten Maros. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kehidupan sosial ekonomi keluarga Tenaga Kerja Wanita telah mengalami peningkatan dalam kehidupan sosial ekonomi keluarga umumnya dapat memenuhi kebutuhan fisik, seperti perbaikan rumah, pembelian alat-alat rumah tangga dan yang paling penting dapat menyekolahkan anaknya. Selain itu juga juga terdapat perilaku keluarga Tenaga Kerja Wanita menjadi tidak terkendali dikarenakan ada ketidakseimbangan yang terjadi dalam keluarga berdasarkan pemenuhan kebutuhan secara materi telah terpenuhi akan tetapi anak dan suami kehilangan kasih sayang baik berperan sebagai ibu bagi anaknya dan berperan sebagai istri bagi suaminya, apalagi peran ibu yang tidak dapat digantikan oleh siapapun yang secara psikologis dibutuhkan oleh anak dan suaminya.This research aims to identify and analyze community perceptions of the socio-economic life of the families of female workers in Maros Regency. The results of the research show that the socio-economic life of female workers' families has experienced an improvement in the socio-economic life of families, generally being able to fulfill physical needs, such as home repairs, purchasing household appliances and most importantly being able to send their children to school. Apart from that, there is also the family behavior of female workers which becomes uncontrollable because there is an imbalance that occurs in the family based on the fulfillment of material needs which have been fulfilled but the children and husbands lose their love both in their roles as mothers for their children and in their roles as wives for their husbands, let alone their role. a mother who cannot be replaced by anyone who is psychologically needed by her children and husband.]]>

The research results show that factors that influence community participation in development in Marusu Subdistrict, Maros Regency are factors that originate from within the community itself, for example, the level of education, community income, and the community's self-awareness which is based on the religion that they adhere to. <![CDATA[This research aims to examine and describe the efforts of the Makassar City KPU in encouraging community participation in the implementation of the 2018 regional elections. This type of research uses qualitative descriptive research by determining the number of informants consisting of 9 informants selected using purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used by researchers goes through three work stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the KPU's efforts to encourage public participation in the 2018 regional elections include: a) carrying out regional elections professionally without black campaigns and the practice of money politics by ensuring that every citizen has the same rights and opportunities to participate in the regional election process, b) increasing voter participation by providing healthy political education by increasing public knowledge so that they can participate optimally in the regional election process, c) Transparency in the implementation of regional elections by providing information that is easily accessible, involving the public in decision making, using information technology, enforcing clear rules and sanctions, and involving independent supervision from supervisory institutions and civil society.]]>
