Abstract

Pembangunan Industri Kulit berdasarkan kebijaksanaan yang telah digariskan padaPola Umum Jangka Panjang diarahkan untuk menghasilkan produk ekspor dan banyakmenyerap tenaga kerja.. Industri Kulit di Indonesia merupakan salah satu komiditi yangdiandalkan untuk menunjang ekspor komiditi non migas.Dalam rangka untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah dan menyediakan lapangan kerja seluasluasnya untuk itu perlu kiranya mahasiswa di Jurusan Teknologi Industri PeternakanUMM untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menerapkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilanpenyamakan kulit yang dimiliki , selain juga memotivasi mahasiswa untuk berwirausahaandi bidang penyamakan kulit dengan cara magang di P.T Kasin Malang Jawa Timur yangbergerak dibidang penyamakan kulit. Magang Kewirausahaan di P.T Kasin merupakankegiatan mahasiswa untuk belajar dan kerja praktis pada usaha Penyamakan kulit, yangdiharapkan dapat menjadi wahana penumbuhan jiwa kewirausahaan.Dalam pelaksanaan Magang Kewirausahaan ini menggunakan metodependekatan pendidikan dan pelatihan . Pendidikan dan pelatihan yangdimaksud adalah merupakan suatu proses yang memungkinkan terjadinyaperubahan dalam diri manusia. Sasaran dalam Program MKU penyamakan kulit di PTKasin adalah mahasiswa JUrusan TIP UMM .Secara umum mahasiswa peserta Magang Kewirausahaan (MKU) penyamakan kulit diPT Kasin sangat memerlukan pembinaan dan pengembangan terus menerus agar benarbenar menjadi wirausahawan di bidang penyamakan kulit.Dengan metode pelatihan yang dipandu oleh instruktur dari PT Kasin , 90 %mahasiswa peserta MKU sudah dapat membuat kulit samak BOX dengan h a s i lyang sangat baik .Untuk tindak lanjutnya maka perlu kiranya mahasiswa membuat pengajuan dalamprogram kreativitas mahasiswa bidang usaha penyamakan kulit seperti (kulit samakkelinci, kulit samak kaki ayam , kulit samak ikan pari dan lain- lain). Raya Tlogomas 246 MalangEmail: pwehandaka@yahoo.comABSTRAKProduk batik kulit dipasaran belum banyak, produk kulit samak dipasaran pada umumnyadiberi warna polos tanpa ada motif ataupun sentuhan batik. Jadi keunikan produk kulit samak yangdihasilkan Jurusan Peternakan UMM ini yaitu menghasilkan kulit samak yang lemas tapi dayatariknya kuat, cat yang tidak mudah luntur, ada sentuhan motif batik dalam pewarnaan kulit samaknyadan barang barang kulitnya.Sebagai sumber inspirasi dalam usaha batik kulit dan barang-barang kulit yang berbahan batikkulit adalah produk batik yang sudah mendunia dan diakui oleh UNESCO sebagai budaya tak bendawarisan manusia (Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage) pada tahun 2009. Sedangdisisi lain produk kulit samak dan barang kulit samak di Indonesia daya saing rendah akibat rendahnyainovasi. Inovasi dapat ditemukan dengan cara memproduksi kulit samak dengan motif batik yangtelah dikenal dunia.Metode yang digunakan dalam menghasilkan suatu produk kulit samak dengan motif batik danmenghasilkan produk barang-barang batik kulit menggunakan metode difusi iptek. Ketiga faktoriptek antara lain lilin batik yang cocok untuk media kulit, bahan pewarna batik yang cocok untukpewarnaan di kulit dan bahan pelepasan lilin yang tepat untuk kulit yang akan didifusikan untukmenghasilkan produk batik kulit dan barang-barang batik kulit di Jurusan Peternakan UMM.Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik survey dan sistem angket untuk mengetahui sejauhmana produk batik kulit dan barang barang kulit yang dipasarkan dapat diterima oleh konsumen.Data terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif. Daya terima produk batik kulit untuk remaja dan dewasadengan motif parang daya terimanya termasuk dalam kategori yang tinggi dengan mean ideal sebesar8,0; dan standar deviasi 0,6Kesimpulan target gross profit untuk tahun pertama belum terpenuhi, hal ini disebabkanproduk masih baru sehingga lebih banyak terserap untuk pengenalan atau promo produk baru.Produk batik kulit dan barang barang batik kulit dapat diterima baik kalangan remaja maupun dewasa,hanya saja motif batik dibuat lebih gaul, lebih trendy dan populer, Adanya integritas kegiatan usahaproduk batik kulit di Jurusan Peternakan dengan kegiatan akademis melalui program Praktek UsahaPeternakan.Dampak dan manfaat dari usaha produk batik kulit dan barang-barang batik kulit sangat dirasakanoleh jurusan dan mahasiswa sebagai pelatihan usaha dan pembentukan jiwa kewirausahaan baik bagilembaga jurusan maupun dosen dan mahasiswa.Kata Kunci : Batik kulit, motif gaul, barang batik kulit

Abstract

Sumber Sekar Village is one of the villages that has a lot of flower plants, therefore it is called Sumber Sekar. The leaves and flowers in Sumber Sekar Village have not been used optimally. The various types of leaves and flowers contain pigments that can still be used as ecoprint coloring on tanned skin. The ecoprinting leather products produced can be used in the production of garments, shoes and jackets, especially for fashion. The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge and skills of the people in Sumbersekar Village in using leaves and flowers as ecoprinting coloring on leather. This service was carried out in July 2020 with 20 participants. Service methods used in education, training and mentoring. Education is given to increase knowledge of ecoprinting on leather. Training was given to improve skills in making the ecoprinting method of coloring on leather. Meanwhile, assistance for those who are interested in business. Community service evaluation is carried out by comparing the increase in the percentage of knowledge and skills before and after the training. Community Service Results In general, the training went well. The knowledge level of the participants increased by 59% and the skills of the participants increased by 57%. The conclusion is that the training program that has been carried out is able to improve the knowledge and skills of participants in the use of leaves and flowers around the house to be used as natural coloring using the ecoprint method on leather.

Abstract

Krupuk kupang merupakan salah satu diversifikasi produk olahan kupang, kerupuk kupang merupakan salah satu komoditas yang sangat potensial untuk dikembangkan menjadi pangan bergizi tinggi dan mempunyai prospek industri yang sangat baik. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Pemberian kaldu kupang berpengaruh nyata (p<0.05) terhadap kadar protein krupuk kupang, kadar protein krupuk kupang tertinggi sekitar 11,11%. Pemberian kaldu kupang berpengaruh sangat nyata (p<0.01) terhadap pengembangan krupuk kupang. Pengembangan krupuk kupang terbesar 115%. Pemberian kaldu kupang tidak berpengaruh nyata (p>0.05) terhadap uji sensori krupuk kupang yang meliputi bau, tekstur, dan warna. Rata-rata konsumen menyukai krupuk kupang.

The treatments were as follows P1 = Waste 25% of cattle: Forage 75%P2 = 50% of livestock waste: Forage P3 = 50% Waste 75% of cattle: Forage P4 = 25% and 100%of livestock waste treatment is the respective repeated 3 times. To differentiate the average value ofthe treatment, conducted LSD (Steel and Torric, 1991). While the parameters measured were nitrogencontent, P and K.Conclusion There is a very real effect of the use of livestock waste and forage for the contentof N, P and K fertilizer liquid fertilizer with cair.Untuk Making 100% used livestock waste materialshave content N, P and K high, compared with the other comparisons. content of liquid fertilizerinclude: N at 2.657%, P content of 3.43% and K content of 2.51%

Abstract

 One of the main characteristics of chamois leather is its high ability to absorb water; thus, chamois leather is generally used for cleaning and drying. The usual tanning material for chamois leather is fish oil. However, it makes the chamois leather product have a strong odor. This study aims to evaluate the quality of chamois leather from rabbit skin tanned with corn oil. The treatments included the addition of several corn oil concentrations consisting of P0 (30 % fish oil), P1 (10 % corn oil), P2 (20% corn oil), and P3 (30% corn oil). The results showed that corn oil as a tanning material was able to increase the ash content, elongation, tear strength, and water absorption of chamois skin and was able to reduce oil content, and did not change the tensile strength, color and odor of the chamois leather produced. The quality of chamois leather with 30% corn oil indicated the ash content as much as 3.19%, oil content as much as 7.87%, elongation as much as 94.51%, tear strength as much as 46.47 N/mm, water absorption (24 hours) as much as 279.03%; and tensile strength as much as 9.9 N/mm2. It also produced yellowish-white color with no odor. This quality has met the requirements of the Indonesian National Standard (SNI): 0617521990. The study concludes that 30% corn oil can substitute fish oil to produce chamois leather.

Abstract

Selorejo village is famous for its sweet orange picking tours, this is because the majority of Selorejo villagers are orange farmers. The problem is to increase the quantity of citrus production, farmers in the village of Selorejo generally use chemical fertilizers while the abundance of goat manure in the village is wasted without being able to process it into compost. The purpose of this community service is to implement science and technology in the form of making organic fertilizer from goat manure as an effort to increase orange production. This activity was carried out in Selorejo Village, Dau District, Malang Regency. The method used in this activity is an education in the form of counseling and training. The results of community service activities are, first, the community has increased knowledge (41.1%) about the importance of organic fertilizer in citrus cultivation. Second, there is an increase in skills (58%) in making organic fertilizer from goat manure. Third There is a change in attitude (49.1%) towards the use of organic fertilizer from goat manure. While the goat manure produced has met SNI standard 19-7030-2004.

Abstract

Eco enzim adalah larutan yang  mengandung limbah buah dan sayur yang telah di fermentasi selama 90 hari. Adapun manfaatnya untuk kesehatan manusia,  pertanian dan kesehatan lingkungan.  Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk memperkenalkan  dan mensosialisasikan eco enzyme  kepada  siswa siswi  pondok pesantren Daarul Fikri  dalam memanfaatkan limbah disekitar pondok pesantren, selain itu untuk melatih siswa siswi pondok pesantren  membuat eco enzyme. Metode yang digunakan yaitu  pendidikan, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Pendidikan dalam bentuk penyuluhan tentang pentingnya eco enzyme. Pelatihan diberikan untuk   meningkatkan ketrampilan dalam hal membuat eco enzyme. Sedangkan pendampingan di khususkan bagi mereka yang sungguh sungguh mau meneruskan untuk wirausaha dengan jalan membantu dalam hal pemasaran. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan dengan membandingkan peningkatan persentase  pengetahuan dan ketrampilan sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan membuat eco enzyme. Hasil pengabdian menunjukan bahwa Berdasarkan hasil  kegiatan pelatihan di pondok Daarul fikri malang  dapat disimpulkan bahwa : Pelatihan pembuatan eco enzyme dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa (152 %) dan  meningkatkan ketrampilan siswa (200 %). Abstract

The production of catfish in East Java in recent years increased significantly from 96,337.2 tons in 2014, to 113,070,4 tons in 2015. The high production impact on difficulties of farmers in some areas in marketing their crops, consequently many farmers lose money because feedstocks continue to go while the harvest difficulties sales. One way to increase market interest is by processing it into salted fish products trough salting method, there are two kinds of salting methods, including Wet salting and Dry salting. However, not all salting techniques produce a guaranteed quality product, this is due to the absence of a definite dose for the number of ingredients used, so determining the right NaCl concentration is essential to create a high quality dried salted fish product. The aim of this research is to know the effect of Salting method and different NaCl concentrations on the quality of dried catfish. This research uses the experimental method with Randomized Block Design (RBD) pattern factorial. The factor I: salting method consisting of Z1: Dry salting Z2: Wet salting. Factor II: NaCl concentration consisting of M1: 15%, M2: 25%, M3: 35%, M4: 45% So that there are 8 treatment variables, and each repeated 3 times so that there are 24 treatments. The parameters tested include NaCl, water, ash insoluble in acid, total plate count, protein, fat, and organoleptic (taste, appearance, aromatic, texture). The results of this study indicate that there is an interaction between the use of different types of salt methods and NaCl concentration on NaCl content, water, ash insoluble in acid, total plate count, and organoleptic taste. But there is no interaction with parameters protein, fat, organoleptic appearance, aromatic, and texture. Based on the Physico-chemical and organoleptic properties of dried salted catfish we found the best total treatment on Z1M4 (Dry salting: NaCl 45% concentration) with NaCl 15.44%, Water 16.67%, Ash Insoluble in Acid 0.21%, Total Plate Count 1.1 x 104, Protein 25.27%, Fat 6.06%, Organoleptic (taste) 5, Organoleptic (Appearance) 7.08, Organoleptic (Aromatic) 6.92, Organoleptic (Texture) 7.67.

Abstract

Bululawang Village is a village located in Malang Regency, which is an area that has the potential for the leather goods industry. The prospect of the leather goods craft industry provides vast employment opportunities for job seekers in the SME sector and can support Bululawang's becoming a tourist village. In supporting the realization of a tourist village, one of the activities is fostering SMEs, which will later contribute to tourism. One of the SMEs with local potential to be developed is an eco print leathercraft. This can be created because there are many flower plants in the area. Leaves and flowers in Bululawang Village have not been used optimally. The various leaves and flowers contain pigments that can still be used as eco print coloring on tanned leather. Ecoprint leather products can create garments, shoes, and jackets, especially for fashion. This Community Service aims to improve the knowledge and skills of leather SMEs related to the application of goatskin eco print coloring technology. The service method used is education, training, and mentoring. Instruction is given to increase knowledge of eco print on leather.
