Abstract

This study was conducted in July 2012 that took place in the Village District ofBantan Pambang Gulf Bengkalis Riau Province. The method used in this study is asurvey method. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of gillnetfishermen in the village this Pambang bay from the aspects of management of fishingoperations and also from the financial aspect. From the research, that the net operatingmanagement gutters Pambang Bay Village consists of planning, organizing, actuatingand controlling. With the value of Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) with a value of 1.4. Thissuggests that these efforts be continued. Financial Rate of Return (FRR) is obtainedfrom net fisheries chamfer is 34%. Should be invested into the business. Payback Periodof Cafital (PPC) is 2.9 years, meaning that within a period of 2.9 years net fisheriesgutters able to restore its investment.Keywords: Management of Operations, Feasibility of Economic, Fishing, Gillnet.

Abstract

 ABSTRACKThis research was conducted in April 2018, in Malang Rapat Village of Gunung Kijang District, Bintan Regency, Riau Island Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the composition of species of catch and productivity of kelong fishing gear during the study. As well as to find out how feasibility of kelong fisheries business in Malang Rapat Village. The method used is survey.The composition of the catch of kelong is anchovy, squid, and tamban fish. The highest productivity occurs in kelong 2 on day 3 of 0,173 kg/minute and the lowest occurs in kelong 3 on day 8 0f 0,04 kg/minute.  In running a fishing business using kelong fishing gear the cost incurred are quite large, which is Rp. 158.900.000,-. For initial capital and fishing business using kelong is still considered profitable because it has been analyzed using BCR, FRR, and PPC with a capital return of 2,3 years where the economic life of the fishing gear is 5 years. Keyword : Productivity, Composition, Business Feasibility, Kelong Fishing Gear

Abstract

                                                     Abstrak               Syahbandar is the forefront of a fishing port in direct service to fishermen. In carrying out its duties, syahbandar must have guidance and reference so that the activities carried out can be run properly as expected, SOP role to facilitate the activity of an activity, it is necessary research about the application of SOP in syahbandar fishery port. This study aims to determine whetherKesyahbandaran in Bungus Ocean Fishery Port has implemented Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as a reference in carrying out its duties. The research was conducted at Bungus Ocean Fishing Port. This research uses survey method that is doing direct observation in the field. The result of research shows that the absorption of soup in syahbandar pps bungus has not fully applied maximally. This is influenced by some fundamental things. This is caused by the lack of socialization between the officers of syahbandar and the fishermen about the soup in syahbandar, the lack of qualified personnel in the field of fishery, the knowledge of fishermen about the technology to make the arrangement of shti and logbook not running properly, the length of the extension of the extension of the SIPI, the lack of facilities and infrastructure for the activities and smooth tasks kesyahbandaran especially internet network access is still often problematic. Keywords: Standard operational procedures, Syahbandar, Fishery Port,

Abstract

This research was conducted in March until April 2017 at Fishery Portof Nusantara Palabuhanratu West Java Province. The purpose of this research is toknow the cause of difference of fish landing implementation in PPNPalabuhanratu with guidance of fishery landing fishery management ofDirectorate of Infrastructure. The method used in this research is survey method,that is by observing the elements - elements and management functions associatedwith fish landing facilities and activities in the VAT Palabuhanratu. From theresults of the research indicate that there are differences in the implementation offish landing activity in the VAT Palabuhanratu with guidance of fish landingmethod Directorate of Infrastructure Development. First, the ships that will bedocked will be given the queue number and the officer determines the demolitionsite, but the ship is closing its vessel on the dock unloading without thesupervision of the port officer. Secondly, the ship landed the fish at the frontloading pier of TPI and when it was completed the demolition of the vessel wassupposed to be transferred to the boat mooring dock, but that happened finishedunloading the catch, the ship was not directly transferred to the parking lot of theship, but parked his ship on the dock Unloading it. Abstract

ABSTRAKThis research was conducted on March 17th to July 21th 2014, in the Sasak Jorong Pasa Lamo Ranah Pasisie, District West Pasaman, West Sumatera Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the composition of purse seine during the day and at night.This research used a survey method. The operation of purse seine fishing gear held on over 5 days of arrest.The Purse seine catches consist of 10 species, either in the day or at night with the weight was 620 kg at noon (1,625 fishes) and at night was 4.813kg (6,390 fishes), overall the weight were 5433 kg (8,015 fishes). The species of fish which were caught consist of Acanthocybium solandri, Auxis thazard, Stromsteus niger, Selaroides leptolepis, Caranax melampygus, Leioghnathus equulus, Rastrelliger faughni, Scilla serrate,Chrysaora quinquecirrha, Lolygo sp.T-test and Chi-square test showed that there is no differences in the average and composition of catches during the day and at night.Keyword: Purse seine, the day, at night, West sumatera.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe aim of this research is to determine the business units of Komo tuna fishing (Euthynnus affinis) that are suitable to be developed and continued for purse seine and gillnet fishing gear based on biological, technical, social and economic aspects. The method used in this study is a survey method, aiming to get a picture of the object under study, conducted with interviews with fishermen purse seine and gillnet fishing gear. Data analysis using scoring analysis. The results of a combined analysis of biological, technical, social and economic aspects show that the value of the VA purse seine function has the same value as a gillnet fishing gear which is 2.00. Abstract

ABSTRACT Purse seine is considered to be the most productive fishing gear to catch pelagic fish, so that in 2014-2017 there were 50 units of ships carrying out loading at the Samudera Bungus Oceanic Fishing Port operate in the Fisheries Management Area  of the Republic of Indonesia (WPP 572) with the largest production of catches 887.124 Kg, but in conducting an arrest operation have you got the optimal catch. Because during this time the operation of the arrest was only determined based on experience. This study aims to determine the composition of the catch purse seine based on the main and side catches and to know the pattern of the catching season. The method used is a direct survey method which includes primary and secondary data containing the last 4 years (2014-2017) obtained from the Bungus Ocean Fishing Port. The catches during the study were 10 types of fish: fish cakalang (Katsuwonus pelamis), tongkol krei (Auxisthazard),madidihang (Thunnus albacares), mata besar (Thunnus obesus), lisong (Auxis rochei), sunglir (Elagatis bipinulatus), lemadang (Coryphaena hippurus) as the main catch (Main catch). Whereas fish layang (Decapterus macrosoma), layaran (Istiophorus oriantalis), baby tuna (Euthynnus alletteratus)is a side  (by-catch). Keywords: composition of the catch, purse seiners, fishing season

Abstract

                                    ABSTRAC   The research was conducted in August 2017 in Bantar Village, West Rangsang Subdistrict, Meranti Island, Riau Province. This study aims to determine the types of composition of the catch of waves operated day and night in Bantar Village, Ransang District, western District of Kepulauan Meranti, Riau Province. The method used in this research is survey and research conducted during 6 days of capture. The catch during the study was 141.34 kg (15541). Result of research of composition of catch Gombang during the day is 51.49 kg (7656 head), while at night 89.85 kg (7950 head). The catch consists of fifteen species. Night catches are bigger than daytime catches. Their catches are lomek fish (Horpodon neherus), prawn thorn (Alphases sp), fish kitang (Scatophagus argus), fish senutang (Lutjanidae campechanus), red shrimp (Paneus monodon), White shrimp (Penaus merguininsis), lobster (Nephropidae) , fish mackerel (Cybium commersoni), sea fish (Steppina breniceps), fish selangat (Chirocentrus dorab), layur fish (Thirchius savala), crabs (Portunidae), octopus (loligo sp), fish thorn (Arius caelatus), white pomfret (Pampus argentus).             Keywords: Gombang, Composition Catch Fish, Afternoon and Night              Period, village Bantar

Abstract

ABSTRACTBelat is a passive fishing gear that belongs to a group of traps operatedin the area around the coast.On the operation,belatnot only produce of the main catch but also get the by-catch. This study aims to identify the main results, by-cath and discart. The research method used is survey method by doing direct observation of thebelat catch result and then the catch is identified to fish species, individual numberandfishweight. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the main catches are two types of shrimp that is white shrimp (Penaeus merguiensis) and kekas shrimp (Parapenaepsis sculpilis) with a weight of 18.9 kg. By-catch and discard caught are small fish and young fish,by-catch consistsof 9 species with total weight of 14,49 kg kg and discard consists of 5 types withtotal weight of 4,08 kg.Keywords: Belat, main cath, by cath and discard

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan pada 03 juli – 13 juli 2013 menggunakan rawai dan 07 -13 Juli 2014 menggunakan pancing ulur di perairan sekitar Desa Teluk Rhu Kecamatan Rupat Utara Kabupaten Bengkalis Provinsi Riau. Metode penelitian adalah metode survei dengan studi kasus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil tangkapan rawai dan pancing ulur secara keseluruhan, jenis dan jumlah hasil tangkapan pada kawasan rumah ikan dan tidak di kawasan rumah ikan. Penggunaan rawai didapatkan hasil tangkapan selama penelitian adalah 26,9 kg atau 25 ekor. Di kawasan rumah ikan adalah ikan kakap sebanyak 1,3 kg (3 ekor), ikan kerapu 0,9 kg (3 ekor) dan ikan buntal 0,4 kg (1 ekor). Sedangkan pada kawasan di luar rumah ikan adalah ikan kerapu sebanyak 8 kg (5 ekor), ikan kakap sebanyak 3,1 kg (4 ekor), ikan Pari 4,6 kg (3 ekor), ikan gulama 2,6 kg (3 ekor), dan ikan duri sebanyak 6 kg (3 ekor). Dari uji t terhadap berat ikan thit = 5,37 > Ttab = 1,833, hal ini berarti thit > ttab, H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya terdapat perbedaan hasil tangkapan rawai di kedua kawasan. Penggunaan pancing ulur diperoleh hasil tangkapan di daerah rumah ikan adalah 19 ekor dengan rata-rata 0,71 kg, sedangkan hasil tangkapan diluar rumah ikan adalah 23 ekor dengan rata-rata 0,94 kg. Dari uji-t diketahui bahwa nilai thit = -0,76 sedangkan ttab =2,10092, hal ini berarti thit < ttab, H0 diterima. Artinya tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil tangkapan dikawasan rumah ikan dengan kawasan di luar rumah ikan.
