Abstract

Pelaksanaan pekerjaan beton memerlukan pengawasan dan penanganan khusus dalam pengujian bahan-bahan yang dipilih sebagai bahan campuran beton, agar terbentuk beton dengan kekuatan maksimum dan ekonomis. Untuk menggunakan beton sebagai bahan bangunan ada persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi, termasuk sifat fisika agregat. Dalam kenyataan di lapangan akibat kurangnya pengawasan pengerjaan drainase jalan pada daerah terpencil di propinsi Kalimantan Selatan, sering dijumpai material campuran beton tidak terlindung dari panas matahari sehingga temperatur material tersebut naik dan temperature hasil adukannya juga ikut naik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan material campuran beton yang mengalami pemanasan sinar matahari secara langsung dibandingkan dengan material yang terlindung dari panas matahari. Metode eksperimen dilakukan terhadap 2 variasi sampel dengan mutu beton rencana yang sama K-225, berjumlah 20 buah sampel untuk tiap variasinya. Dari hasil pemeriksaan kuat tekan rata-rata dan kuat tekan karakteristik diketahui bahwa agregat yang bertemperatur tinggi akibat panas matahari mempengaruhi faktor air-semen yang mengakibatkan pengikatan semen tidak optimal.

Abstract

The construction of the well percolating rainwater is one of the efforts to improve the sustainability of groundwater. Increased knowledge and awareness of the population about the importance of the well percolating as an effort of conservation of groundwater and prevent floods, as well as the knowledge and skills to make the well percolating the Sepik high, cheap, and easily carried out by the population is a goal to be achieved in the activities of this community. Extension building of the well-percolating rainwater in the village of Cempaka is done by the method of questioning accompanied by lectures, and demonstrations. Lecture method is required to explain the efforts of the management and sustainability of water resources as well as the existence of the well percolating in General, while questioning provided an opportunity for participants to better understand the concepts so that those who are not yet familiar with can ask. Method demonstration is required to clarify the process of building the well percolating rain. As for the obstacles faced was the lack of understanding of the people about the well-percolating rainwater because of the varied educational background, expensive running costs of making the well percolating, and lack of public awareness about the sustainability of groundwater. Some of the benefits that can be gained from this outreach activity participant, among others, can understand the function of the forest, understanding the function of the sustainability of the land, and know the techniques of making a well-percolating rainwater with functions/benefits.

Abstract

Land use that is not in accordance with conservation rules and exceeds the capacity of its carrying capacity, will cause critical land. The behavior of the people who have not supported the preservation of land and the environment have caused floods in the rainy season. Efforts are needed to improve the management of water resources, namely to keep the quantity of groundwater maintained so as to ensure the availability of water for the community. The development of infiltration wells and making biopore holes is intended as a medium to hold and store rainwater. Biopori holes are cheap and good environmental technology. The main capital is human desire and awareness to save their environment from water availability and water pollution. Extension of biopore hole making techniques is done by the lecture method along with questions and answers and demonstrations. The lecture method is needed to explain the concept of management efforts and the sustainability of the existence of water sources and biopore holes in general, while the question and answer to give the opportunity for participants to better understand the concept so that those who do not understand can ask. Demonstration methods are needed to clarify the process of the technique and the stages of making biopore.

Abstract

Pelambuan is a sub-district in West Banjarmasin, Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan Province. Part of the Pelambuan area is still a slum area because there is no drainage, garbage problems, sanitation, etc. So it needs awareness and the role of community members to love the environment and live healthily. Thus, the residents must be given an understanding of the integrated environmental drainage system (ecodrain) in residential areas to maintain and create a healthy environment. In principle, ecodrain is a program to restore and improve the quality of urban drainage flow from pollution caused by garbage or wastewater due to the indiscipline of urban residents who throw garbage or wastewater into channels or rivers that cross urban areas. Handling of drainage, which is carried out in an integrated manner by handling waste and wastewater with an environmentally sound concept (ecodrain), can be carried out in the following ways: installation and operation of waste filters, application of proper waste management with the 3R approach (Reduce, Reuse & Recycle) community-based, community-based sanitation improvement (Sanimas), river water quality restoration through bioremediation, construction of rainwater catchment wells to reduce the volume of rainwater runoff that will flow into drainage channels and rivers.

Abstract

Many factors cause traffic accidents where the driving speed is one of the main causes, and this is known from several studies conducted in universities in the city of Banjarmasin, which chronologically the accident events mostly stated that the vehicles involved in the accident were driven at high speed. The results of recording the speed on the road segment studied violations exceeding the speed limit that is at night before dawn, and this applies to almost all types of vehicles in both directions of the lane at that time the traffic volume decreases. The majority of respondents think that high speed "speeding" is very likely 88.40% resulting in accidents that injure others and themselves. Regarding speed restrictions on all road segments to reduce accidents to the perpetrators, respondents said 83.99% were subject to sanctions, and argued that the potential consequences of behavior beyond the speed limit were very harmful and dangerous, 71.7%. And the main cause of motorists doing "speeding" is to reach their destination on time and even faster, 79.7%. Banyak faktor penyebab kecelakaan lalu-lintas dimana kecepatan berkendaraan merupakan salah satu penyebab utamanya, ini diketahui dari beberapa penelitian yang dilakukan diperguruan tinggi di Kota Banjarmasin yang pada kronologis kejadian kecelakaannya sebagian besar menyebutkan bahwa kendaraan yang terlibat kecelakaan tersebut dipacu dengan kecepatan tinggi. Hasil dari pencatatan kecepatan pada segmen jalan yang diteliti terjadi pelanggaran melebihi batas kecepatan yaitu pada malam menjelang subuh, ini berlaku hampir pada semua jenis kendaraan dikedua arah jalur pada saat itu volume lalu-lintas berkurang. Mayoritas responden berpendapat bahwa berkecepatan tinggi “ngebut” sangat mungkin 88,40% berakibat menyebabkan kecelakaan yang mencederai orang lain dan diri sendiri. Terkait dengan pembatasan kecepatan pada semua segmen jalan untuk mengurangi kecelakaan terhadap pelakunya responden mengatakan 83,99% dikenakan sanksi, serta berpendapat bahwa potensi akibat perilaku melampaui batas kecepatan sangat merugikan dan membahayakan, 71,7%. Dan penyebab utama pengendara kendaraan bermotor melakukan “ngebut” adalah untuk mencapai tujuan tepat waktu dan bahkan bisa lebih cepat, 79,7%.

Abstract

Tambak Baru is one of 25 villages. Village located in the District Martapura Banjar district. The majority of the population are farmers Tambak Baru (peasant) and household handicraft industry and artisan labor. Geographically, the new Village Pond located at coordinates between 3.23594 ° S and 114 ° 35'30 "- 114.52134 ° East.Wastewater contained in Tambak Baru generally in the form of domestic waste / household. The waste water typically flows into the river nearby, so the burden of the rivers in the region is getting heavier and river water pollution level is high enough. It can be seen from the river in the region. And in the rainy season drainage is not functioning properly so frequent inundation at certain points.Based on the characteristics of the Tambak Baru, District Martapura Banjar Regency, it can be concluded that the aspect of social affecting people in Tambak Baru, District Martapura Banjar district in the act defecating carelessly, among other factors economic, education and mindset of the people in the act defecating , To achieve the target stop Babs performed triggered activity, in order to achieve behavioral change in behavior by simulation calculations Babs feces and fecal water, because people dump sludge into the river. The technical aspects of the constraints is the topography factor (nearby river with settlements), and lack of availability of land as a result of the density of homes that use a centralized waste management system and WWTP Communal.

Abstract

Abu batu adalah hasil dari pengolahan batu pecah dengan menggunakan stone crusher. Abu batu saat ini merupakan bahan hasil sampingan dalam industri pemecahan batu yang jumlahnya tidak sedikit. Abu batu diupayakan pemanfaatannya sebagai bahan pengganti pasir karena harganya lebih murah jika dibandingkan dengan pasir. Abu batu dapat digunakan sebagai bahan utama pembuat beton, batako, dan perekat paving maupun sebagai pengisi (filler yang mengisi rongga-rongga kecil pada beton dan membuat beton semakin padat sehingga dapat meningkatkan mutu beton). Penggunaan abu batu dalam industri beton bisa mencapai lebih dari 50% terutama untuk pembuatan conblock, batako, dan gorong-gorong. Manfaat lain dari abu batu yaitu mampu mengikat material lebih baik, menghemat penggunaan semen, mempercepat produksi batako/beton, hamparan lapisan dasar pada pemasangan paving blok dan memperkecil pori conblock.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang sering terjadi di desa Telaga Sari yang daerahnya merupakan tanah rawa yaitu terjadinya banjir yang semakin tahun semakin besar karena volume daya tampung saluran primer semakin berkurang. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah kebiasaan buruk warga membuang sampah anorganik (sampah yang sukar terurai dalam tanah) ke saluran primer dan rendahnya pengetahuan tentang drainase (resapan air). Ada cara yang perlu dilakukan agar banjir tahunan dapat dicegah yaitu dengan memperbaiki sistem resapan air ke dalam (drainase). Perbaikan drainase dapat dilakukan dengan tidak membuang sampah yang tidak mudah terurai dengan menggunakan kembali (daur ulang) agar bermanfaat, maupun membuat sumur resapan. Pembuatan sumur resapan tidak memungkin karena memerlukan biaya dan proses yang lama sehingga cara yang digunakan adalah pemanfaatan sampah anorganik menjadi barang yang bermanfaat seperti pot, tempat penyimpanan barang, celengan dan lain sebagainya. Diharapkan dengan adanya program pemanfaatan sampah anorganik ini dapat memperbaiki taraf hidup di bidang sosial, ekonomi, dan pangan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menguraikan tentang perencanaan tiang pancang yang dikombinasikan dengan kantilever sebagai desain konstruksi penanggulangan longsoran pada ruas Jalan Kusuma Bangsa Kabupaten Paser Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Memperhatikan kondisi lereng yang telah mengalami kelongsoran dan hancurnya konstruksi penahan tanah sebelumnya yang terbuat dari kayu ulin akan membahayakan kondisi di sekitarnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan rancangan konstruksi tiang pancang yang aman dan dapat menahan terjadinya kelongsoran. Dimana tiang pancang ini dikombinasikan dengan kantilever yang berfungsi sebagai pengaku tiang pancang tersebut dan juga sebagai penahan timbunan di belakangnya. Analisis stabilitas lereng menggunakan metode Alan W.Bishop yang diaplikasikan dalam program komputer X-Stable. Untuk perencanaan penanggulangan dengan tiang dilakukan dengan mengacu pada SNI 03-1962-1990 dan untuk menentukan tekanan tanah aktif digunakan metode Rankine. Hasil perhitungan dengan aplikasi X-Stable menunjukan bahwa lereng yang telah longsor dalam keadaan kritis dengan SF yang didapat sebesar 1,078, sehingga dipandang perlu adanya penanggulangan. Dari hasil analisa perancangan didapatkan desain tiang pancang yang aman yaitu tiang pancang baja dengan 21,63 cm, tebal 8,2 mm, yang dipancang sampai lapisan tanah keras sedalam 6 m.Untuk lebar 1 m didapatkan jumlah tiang sebanyak 2 buah dengan jarak 75 cm antar as ke as tiang. Pada bagian kantilever digunakan beton bertulang dengan mutu K-225 dengan bagian telapak digunakan tulangan tarik 12-100 sengkang 10-100, untuk pada bagian badan digunakan tulangan tarik 12-100 dengan sengkang 10-100 pula. Dari hasil analisa ulang didapatkan Faktor Keamanan sebesar 3,34, dengan demikian kondisi lereng ada pada keadaan relatif aman.

Abstract

Stabilization is an attempt to improve the physical and mechanical properties of the soil so that it meets specific technical requirements. One method of stabilization is the addition of portland cement additives. This study aimed to compare the CBR values of soft soil of peat before and after stabilization with portland cement and to determine the effect of variations in ripening time on carrying capacity of soft soil peat. Soft peat soil used was taken from Handil Bakti Village, Alalak District, Barito Kuala District, South Kalimantan Province. Variations in the addition of cement levels used 5%, 10%, and 15%, while the variety of curing time starts from 7 days, 14 days and 21 days. In the results of the modified Proctor compaction test, the addition of cement levels in the soft soil of peat was shown to increase the maximum dry weight volume (γd) value continuously. While the value of optimum water content (ωopt) has decreased which is not too significant at each addition of cement content. For the value of the soft soil type of peat mixed with cement, the increase in weight compared with the original soil type weight. In CBR Laboratory testing using modified Proctor compaction at 15% cement content addition and 21 days curing time, the maximum CBR value of the Laboratory was 18.039%. The addition of Portland cement has been shown to increase the CBR value and the carrying capacity of the soil
