Abstract

Identitas Nasional merupakan ciri khas suatu bangsa yang membedakan suatu bangsa dengan bangsa lain. Identitas nasional sebagai landasan negara, juga alat mempersatukan bangsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap (1)Hambatan mempertahankan identitas nasional bagi generasi muda, (2)Faktor pendukung mempertahankan identitas nasional pada generasi muda, (3)Upaya mempertahankan identitas nasional di era globalisasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: Hambatan mempertahankan identitas nasional yaitu penggunaan gadget mempengaruhi kurangnya semangat belajar, Individualis, kurangnya solidaritas, tidak peduli lingkungan dan hedonism. Faktor pendukung mempertahankan identitas nasional menyadari negara indonesia berdiri karena faktor historis, sosial, geografis, melestarikan budaya, sikap nasionalisme, dan upaya bela negara. Mempertahankan Identitas nasional di era globalisasi melalui Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan, menggunakan bahasa Indonesia, mencintai produk negeri, memanfaatkan arus digital untuk mempromosikan budaya indonesia.

Abstract

Objective: The Process of getting old in the elderly certainly experiences many problems both physical and mentally, socio-economically, and biologically. One of the mental and emotional problems that is often found in the elderly is depression. Factors that increase the risk of depression in the elderly include genetic susceptibility, chronic disease and disability, pain, and frustration with limitations in carrying out daily activities. Independence in the elderly can also influenced by the presence of diabetes mellitus (DM) which effects the elderly in the family. This study aims to analyze the independence of elderly people who suffer from diabetes mellitus on the incidence of depression in the Pekalongan Regency.Methods: The research method that will be used is descriptive with a cross-sectional design. Place of research in the Region of Pekalongan Regency. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Analysis using the Spearman Rho test.Results: The results showed that the value of p = 0.04 if α = 0.05 then p <α and H1 are accepted, which means there is a relationship between the level of depression and independence in Activity of Daily Living (ADL) in elderly with diabetes mellitus in Pekalongan Regency. Nurses continue to strive to increase independence and control depression in the elderly with DM so that the quality of life of the elderly becomes more optimal.Conclusion: The conclusion of the study is a significant correlation between the  level of depression and independence in Activity of Daily Living (ADL) in elderly with diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Diabetes melitus is a group of metabolic diseases characterized by hyperglicemia that occurs due to abnormalities in insulin secretion, insulin action or both. Diabetes melitus patients can experience a decline in health status which results in physiological changes that require treatment in an intensive care unit. Apart from causing complications, diabetes melitus also causes deterioration ogf the body’s system if the patien suffers from comorbidities. This study aim to determine the relationship between comorbidities and mortality in diabetes melitus patients treated in the intensive care unit. The research method is observational with a croos-sectional design. Sampling used total sampling. Data was obtained secondary data in form of medical records in the ICU room at Kajen Hospital, Pekalongan Regency in January-December 2022. The number of respondents was 40 diabetes melitus patients. Data analysis used the Pearson correlation statistical test to determine whether there are wasvrelationship between comorbidity and respondent mortality. The research results obtained a p-value of 0,022 (<0,05). The conclusion from this study is that there is a relationship between comorbidity and mortality of diabetes melituspatients in the intensive care unit of Kajen Regional Hospital, Pekalongan Regency.
