Abstract

Abstract: The Values of Character Education in WhatsApp Communication between Students and Lecturers. Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Indonesian Language and Literature Department, Faculty of Language and Literature. This study aims to: (1) describe the form of character education values in WhatsApp communication between students and lecturers; and (2) describe the values of character education in WhatsApp communication between students and lecturers. This type of research is qualitative research. The research design used is descriptive qualitative. The data in this study are texts or sentences used in WhatsApp communication between students and lecturers. Sources of research data are students of the faculty of language and literature as informants. Data collection techniques used in this study were documentation, reading, and notes. The results of the study reveal that the values of character education in WhatsApp communication between students and lecturers include religiosity, nationalism, integrity, independence, and mutual cooperation. The data that were not found were with the sub-values of loving the environment, integrity with the sub-values of loyalty and anti-corruption and the value of inclusive character with the sub-values of anti-discrimination and non-violence. The functions found are educational functions, religious functions, social functions, cultural functions, and social functions. Keywords: Character education values, student and lecturer communication, WhatsApp.

Abstract

Abstract: Educational and Cultural Values in the Poems of the Kingdom ofBima. This study aims to: 1) examine the educational value contained in thepoems of the Bima Kingdom; and 2) examine the cultural values contained in thepoems of the Bima Kingdom. This research is a qualitative research using aqualitative descriptive research design. The subject of this research is the poetryof the Kingdom of Bima, while the object of research is the educational andcultural values contained in these poems. The data analysis model used in thisstudy adopts an interactive data analysis model which consists of four activitystreams namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawingconclusions. The results of this study indicate that there are various educationaland cultural values in the poems of the Bima Kingdom.

Abstract

Abstract: Categorization and Periodization of Bima's Oral Literature. Thisstudy aims to: 1) examine the categories of oral literature found in the Bima tribe;and 2) examine the period of Bima's oral literature. This research is a qualitativeresearch using a qualitative descriptive research design. The subject of thisresearch is Bima Oral Literature. While the object of study is the categorization ofBima's oral literature. The data analysis model used in this study adopts aninteractive data analysis model which consists of four activity streams namelydata collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Theresults showed that the categorization of Bima's oral literature consisted ofrhymes, folk songs, and folk tales. While the periodization of Bima's oralliterature began since the time of the Bima kingdom.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji lebih dalam mengenai representasi pengalaman dalam teks pidato Presiden RI Joko Widodo berdasarkan proses, partisipan, dan sirkumstan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menerapkan metode deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu bahasa lisan berupa video yang diperoleh dari situs youtube. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik simak, teknik catat, dan pemberian kode pada tiap klausa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 29 kalimat, proses material memiliki tingkat persentase kemunculan yang mendominasi. Hal ini disebabkan oleh Joko Widodo lebih mengedepankan aksi dan tindakan dalam menghadapi ujian di tengah pandemi Covid-19. Proses verbal memiliki tingkat persentase kemunculan yang sedikit sebab Presiden RI Joko Widodo tidak hanya ingin banyak berbicara tanpa adanya aksi nyata dalam menghadapi tantangan yang ada. Selanjutnya partisipan yang dominan muncul yaitu partisipan yang berperan sebagai aktor. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa Presiden RI Joko Widodo beserta jajarannya dalam bertindak dan menghadapi masalah pandemi Covid-19 dengan melibatkan seluruh masyarakat Indonesia. Adapun sirkumstan yang memiliki tingkat persentase kemunculan tertinggi adalah sirkumstan sebab (tujuan). Hal ini menandakan bahwa Presiden RI Joko Widodo secara bersungguh-sungguh menunjukkan keberhasilan yang akan dicapai dalam menghadapi Covid-19, sedangkan sirkumstan yang memiliki persentase terendah adalah sirkumstan sebab(alasan) dan sirkumstan masalah. Kata Kunci: representasi pengalaman, pidato kelahiran Pancasila AbstractThis study aims to examine more deeply the representation of experience in the speech text of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, based on process, participant, and circumstance. This study uses a type of qualitative research by applying descriptive methods. The source of data in this study is spoken language in the form of videos obtained from the YouTube site. The data collection techniques in this study are the listening technique, the note taking technique, and the coding of each clause. The results of the research show that of the 29 sentences, the material process has a dominating percentage level of occurrence. This is due to Joko Widodo prioritizing actions and actions in facing exams amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The verbal process has a low percentage of occurrence because the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, does not just want to talk a lot without taking real action in facing the challenges that exist. Furthermore, the dominant participant appears, namely the participant who acts as an actor. This proves that Indonesian President Joko Widodo and his staff are acting and dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic by involving all Indonesian people. The circumstance that has the highest percentage level of occurrence is the cause circumstance (purpose). This indicates that the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, has seriously demonstrated the success that will be achieved in dealing with Covid-19, while the   circumstance that has the lowest percentage is the circumstance of cause (reason) and circumstance of problem.Keywords: representation of experience, speech on the birth of Pancasila

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Implementasi Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia berbasis kurikulum 2013 di SMA Negeri 1 Campalagian. Jenis penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara sebagai data pendukung. Hasil observasi Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) guru menggunakan Surat Edaran Nomor 14 Tahun 2019 Tentang Penyederhanaan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran sebagai pedoman dalam pengembangan RPP.  Dari hasil observasi implementasi RPP pada bagian pendahuluan masih terdapat guru yang tidak melakukan sesuai dengan RPP yang dibuat. Pada kegiatan inti guru mengunakan pendekatan saintifik namun tidak terlaksana secara optimal karna masih terlalu banyak menjelaskan dalam proses pembelajaran. Pada bagian penutup masih terdapat guru yang tidak mengimplementasikan dengan keseluruhan sesuai dengan RPP yang dibuat. Pada aspek penilaian pembelajaran yang terdapat pada RPP guru memuat penilaian otentik yaitu penilaian aspek sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Namun, dari hasil observsi dokumen yang guru tidak melakukan penialain proyek, penilaian produk dan hanya melakukan penialain portofolio dan penilaian sikap. Tapi, pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran berlangsung secara aktif dan saling memberikan umpan balik antara guru dan siswa.Kata Kunci: RPP, Bahasa Indonesia, Kurikulum 2013

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine how student's perception of the role of campus teaching program in the competence of the teaching profession (a research study on students of the Makassar State University PBSI study program). This research is a quantitative research. The research data are students' perceptions of the role of campus teaching programs. The research subjects were students of the PBSI study program who had attended the campus teaching program batches 1 – 3. The data collection technique was in the form of a survey using a questionnaire. Then, the analysis techniques used descriptive quantitative data analysis. The results showed that: (1) as 78 students' or 90% perceive the role of campus teaching program in pedagogic competence as being in the “high” category; (2) as 68 students' or 78% perceive the role of campus teaching program in personality competence as being in the “high” category; (3) as 75 students' or 86% perceive the role of campus teaching program in pedagogic competence as being in the “high” category; (4) as 70 students' or 80% perceive the role of campus teaching program in pedagogic competence as being in the “high” category.Keywords: Perception, campus teaching, teacher competence

Abstract

This study aims: (1) Describe the results of learning to write news texts by applying the reciprocal learning model in cycle I for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Bone-Bone; (2) Describe the results of learning to write news texts by applying the reciprocal learning model in cycle II for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Bone-Bone. This research is a classroom action research. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in student learning activeness from cycle I to cycle II which also affects the increase in student learning outcomes. The results of increased learning in terms of the process are marked by an increase in student activity in implementing the results of observations of the activities of teachers and students in cycle I and students in cycle II. The improvement in terms of learning outcomes in writing news texts was marked by the average score of students in cycle I was 73, and the average value of students in cycle II was 84. Thus the application of the reciprocal learning model

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan (1) sikap bahasa yang digunakan pada media daring dalam berita aksi unjuk rasa tataran linguistik sistemik fungsional, (2) pemosisian (engagement) bahasa yang digunakan pada media daring dalam berita aksi unjuk rasa tataran linguistik sistemik fungsional, (3) garduasi (graduation) bahasa yang digunakan pada media daring dalam berita aksi unjuk rasa tataran linguistik sistemik fungsional, serta (4) mengetahui relevansi kajian appraisal di perguruan tinggi. Data dalam penelitian ini yakni berupa kata, frasa dan klausa yang bermuatan mengenai aksi unjuk rasa dengan model analisis appraisal. Adapun sumber data, yaitu media daring Detik, Kompas, dan Tribunnews pada pemberitaan aksi unjuk rasa, serta beberapa buku dan jurnal yang mendukung penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah Teknik dokumentasi, teknik pustaka, teknik baca simak, dan teknik catat. Data yang telah dikumpulkan dianalis dengan teknik yaitu menggunakan model analisis appraisal Martin White (2005) yang terdiri dari aspek sikap (attitude), pemosisian (engagement), dan graduasi (graduation). Hasil penelitian pertama bentuk apprasial sikap yang terdapat pada pemberitaan aksi unjuk rasa dalam media daring detik, kompas, dan tribunnews terdiri dari afek, penghakiman/penilaian(judgment), apresiasi. Kedua bentuk apprasial pemosisian yang terdapat pada pemberitaan aksi unjuk rasa dalam media daring detik, kompas, dan tribunnews terdapat bentuk monoglosik dan heteroglosik. Ketiga bentuk apprasial graduasi yang terdapat pada pemberitaan aksi unjuk rasa dalam media daring detik, kompas, dan tribunnews terdapat bentuk focus dan force. Serta keempat penelitian ini, memiliki relevansi dengan program magang jurnalistik di perguruan tinggi.
