Abstract

Abstrak. Mitra dalam program pengabdian ini adalah Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 1 Kota Bima. Program kemitraan masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan sekaligus pelatihan membaca dan menulis aksara Bima bagi siswa. Hal ini didasarkan pada permasalahan yang ditemukan berkaitan dengan kurangnya minat dan pengetahuan siswa pada bidang budaya. Padahal, budaya menjadi salah satu bagian penting dalam keseimbangan sosial. Permasalahan yang ditemukan, antara lain: 1) Kurangnya pengetahuan dan skill siswa dalam membaca dan menulis aksara Bima; 2) Kurangnya pengetahuan siswa sebagai generasi muda tentang budaya sehingga terhindar dari hal-hal negatif. Solusi yang ditawarkan ialah memberikan pelatihan membaca dan menulis aksara Bima bagi siswa. Target luaran ini yaitu artikel pada media massa cetak/elektronik, artikel pada jurnal terakreditasi, video kegiatan. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, tim pengabdi menggunakan strategi kronologis, dengan urutan pelaksanaan yang dimulai dari diskusi, pemberian materi, praktik membaca dan menulis Aksara Bima siswa, serta evaluasi hasil praktik. Kata kunci: kemampuan membaca, kemampuan menulis, aksara Bima

Abstract

Mitra Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah Kelompok Guru Sekolah Dasar yang terdapat di Kabupaten Pinrang. Adapun masalahnya adalah (1) Kurangnya pengetahuan guru tentang teori berpuisi, dan (2) kurangnya keterampilan guru dalam membaca dan mendeklamasikan puisi. Metode yang digunakan adalah: ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik membaca dan mendeklamasikan puisi. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan, yaitu (1) Pemberian materi pada guru tentang teori berpuisi, (2) Melakukan diskusi dengan guru terkait materi yang diberikan, dan (3) Guru melakukan praktik membaca dan mendeklamasikan puisi. Hasil yang dicapai adalah (1) Pengetahuan guru tentang teori berpuisi semakin meningkat, dan (2) guru memiliki keterampilan untuk membaca dan mendeklamasikan puisi. Kemampuan ini menjadi keterampilan tambahan guru yang dapat diaplikasikan pada siswanya.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to identify myths in Indonesian political memes. The data in the study were processed by means of data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification. The object of this research is memes that contain politics and myths that exist in these political memes. Memes are one of the media to express opinions in a different way than usual, namely with pictures and writing. One of them is in the political field, memes become a tool for campaigning and the media for conveying criticism and suggestions. With Roland Barthes' semiotic theory, researchers will reveal the denotations, connotations and myths contained in Indonesian political memes. Therefore, this research focuses on problem formulations, namely How is the myth according to Roland Barthes in Indonesian political memes? The results of the analysis show that First, there are various myths in Indonesian political memes. one of which is about if we want to be rich we must become politicians/officials, that work as a politician/official is not the only way and way to achieve success. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the improvement of students' advertising text writing skills using the picture and picture method. The problem that is found in the implementation of this research in general is the lack of skills of class VIII-A students of SMPN 16 Mandai in learning to write advertising texts. This type of research is classroom action research using research procedures with this through the stages which include: planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The data of this research are in the form of process data and learning outcomes of writing advertisement text for class VIII A SMPN 16 Mandai.The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in student learning activities from cycle I to cycle II, namely the increase in the number of students in listening to the teacher's explanation, asking questions and answering questions, learning outcomes have also increased which can be proven from the results of the first cycle stage, which obtained a score of 570 and in cycle II 677 So that the application of the picture and picture method can increase the frequency of activity and activities by meeting the KKM standards. So that the teaching and learning process is in accordance with the observations of students during the implementation of class actions, it is enough for two cycles. Keywords: Improvement, Writing Ad Text, Picture And Picture Method

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji ambiguitas editorial ejaan (tanda baca), leksikal, dan gramatikal yang terdapat dalam teks berita harian daring Sindonews.com. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Metode penelitan ini adalah deskriptif yang mengamati makna ambiguitas editorial ejaan (tanda baca), leksikal, dan gramatikal yang terkandung dalam teks berita harian daring Sindonews.com. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah teks berita harian daring Sindonews.com. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri. Teknik analisis dengan cara data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis yang mengandung ambiguitas ke dalam tabel analisis. Jenis ambiguitas yang pertama berkaitan dengan tingkat editorial ejaan (tanda baca) yang terjadi jika terjadi pencampuran bahasa yang dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya ketidakjelasan nada, jeda maupun intonasi. Tingkatan kedua berada di tingkat leksikal yang mengarah pada pemaknaan lebih dari satu, dan yang ketiga berada serta berkaitan dengan tingkat gramatikal yang meramu di tataran frasa, klausa, maupun kalimat. Kata Kunci: Ambiguitas, Teks, Berita

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the improvement of students poetry writing skills using the smart wheel media. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The problem that is found in the implementation of this research in general is the lack of skills of class VIII-A students of SMP Negeri 1 Kahu in learning to write poetry texts. shows that the results of the implementation of learning to write poetry texts in class VIII-A students are still low and improvements are needed to improve learning outcomes. The improvement solution offered by researchers to fix problems in learning is the use of smart wheel media in learning to write poetry texts. The results of increased learning in terms of process are indicated by an increase in student activity in the implementation of the results of observing teacher activities in the first cycle of 69,64% and the second meeting of 76,78% of the fourteen assessment indicators. The increase in the results of observation of teacher activities in the second cycle of the first was 89,28% and the second meeting was 96,42% of the fourteen assessment indicators. The results of the observation of student activities in the first cycle of the first meeting were 66,07% and the second meeting was 78,57% of the fourteen assessment indicators. The results of the observation of student activities in the second cycle of the first meeting were 91,07% and the second meeting 98,21% of the fourteen assesment indicators. The improvement in terms of learning outcomes to write poetry texts is indicated by the avarage score of students in cycle I is 61, and the average value of students in cycle II is 78. Thus the use of smart wheel media can improve learing to write poetry in terms of process and results learning.Keywords: improvement, writing poetry, smart wheel media.

Abstract

Abstract: The relationship between the Bima script and the Bugis-Makassarscript. This study aims to: 1) examine the relationship between the Bima andBugis-Makassar scripts; and 2) examine the closeness between the Bima Tribeand the Bugis-Makassar Tribe. This research is a qualitative research using aqualitative descriptive research design. The object of the research is the Bimascript with the Makassar Bugis script. These two characters will be compared tofind the relationship of form and ethnic closeness. The data analysis model used inthis study adopted an interactive data analysis model consisting of four activities,namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Theresults of this study indicate that the Bima script and the Bugis-Makassar scripthave a relationship because of the closeness of history and culture, and there is acloseness of script form

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis pidato persuasif khususnya, Kelas IX Abd Rahman MTs Ar-Rahman DDI Galla Raya Pangkep yang mengalami masalah dalam menentukan struktur dan ciri kebahasaan pidato persuasif, dalam mengatasi masalah tersebut peneliti menggunakan metode sinektika untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis pidato persuasif. Pada siklus I memperoleh nilai rata-rata 55.6 dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 76.6 sesuai perencanaan serta diskusi yang dilakukan peneliti dan kolaborator. Hasil peningkatan pembelajaran menggunakan penilaian observasi keaktifan siswa dan aktivitas guru. Hasil observasi keaktifan siswa di siklus I 53% dan meningkat menjadi 86% di siklus II. Hasil observasi aktivitas guru di siklus I 88,15% dan meningkat di siklus II 97,36%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode sinektika mampu meningatkan keterampilan menulis pidato persuasif dari segi proses dan hasil. Kata Kunci: Peningkatan, Menulis Pidato Persuasif, Metode Sinektika

Abstract

Abstract: The Values of Character Education in WhatsApp Communication between Students and Lecturers. Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Indonesian Language and Literature Department, Faculty of Language and Literature. This study aims to: (1) describe the form of character education values in WhatsApp communication between students and lecturers; and (2) describe the values of character education in WhatsApp communication between students and lecturers. This type of research is qualitative research. The research design used is descriptive qualitative. The data in this study are texts or sentences used in WhatsApp communication between students and lecturers. Sources of research data are students of the faculty of language and literature as informants. Data collection techniques used in this study were documentation, reading, and notes. The results of the study reveal that the values of character education in WhatsApp communication between students and lecturers include religiosity, nationalism, integrity, independence, and mutual cooperation. The data that were not found were with the sub-values of loving the environment, integrity with the sub-values of loyalty and anti-corruption and the value of inclusive character with the sub-values of anti-discrimination and non-violence. The functions found are educational functions, religious functions, social functions, cultural functions, and social functions. Keywords: Character education values, student and lecturer communication, WhatsApp.
