Abstract

Evaluation of Strategic Planning is a step to compare the preparation of a strategic plan that is supposed to already occurred. The purpose of this study was to describe how the strategic planning process of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Diponegoro and the constraints faced in their preparation. Researchers analyzed the strategic planning process and the obstacles through four stages: stage preparing, drafting stage, the stage of assessment and determination stage. Evaluation of the results of research Strategic Planning Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Diponegoro Year 2015-2019 is still encountering many obstacles on several stages of the process. In the aspect of resources must be improved quantity and quality. Coordination among the implementing other strategic plans have not been established. Data are also not accurate and was not renewed.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between employee ability, employee motivation, leadership, organizational climate, work relationship and initiative with employee performance in Education Office of Central Java Province (Observation Study at Sub Division General and Personnel). The population of 64 employees with samples taken as many as 39 employees. Hypothesis test using correlation pearson product moment to find out the correlation between each independent variable with dependent variable, and coefficient of determination analysis to measure how far the model ability in explain variation of independent variable. The findings of the results show that the hypothesis that there is a positive correlation between the ability of employees, employee motivation, leadership, organizational climate, employment relations and initiatives with the performance of employees of the Central Java Provincial Education Office (Observation Studies on Sub Division General and Personnel), can be received significantly the correlation coefficient value of each relationship is the correlation between the ability of employees with employee performance is 0.415, the correlation between employee motivation and employee performance is 0.313, the correlation between leadership with employee performance is 0.581, the correlation between organizational climate with employee performance is 0.577, correlation between employment relationship with employee performance is 0.210 and the correlation between initiative with employee performance is 0.561. For the coefficient of determination (R2) is shown in Kendall's W coefficient of 0.579.

Abstract

Evaluation of the employees performance are important factor as a measure that can be used to reform and improve performance employees. Assessment work performance use DP-3 in the neighborhood civil servants are considered no effective because cannot be used for measuring how much productivity and contribution given civil servants over organisation. Assessment DP-3 are more oriented towards on judgment personality and behavior. The assessment system of repair work performance employees combining of elements target work civil servants and behavior work set in government regulation number 46/2011. One government agencies apply the assessment system of work performance use element target work civil servants and behavior work were dept. of cooperatives or for micro and the city of Semarang. The results of the study show the work performance in the office for cooperatives and micro business have led to theories management, but there are still requirement in assessment work performance that have not been. In terms of input on who provide an assessment have not been in accordance with government regulation number 46/2011. In terms of the process is good only not optimal because employees still needs to be given trainings periodically. In terms of output assessment work performance employees referring to government regulation number 46/2011 able to increase work performance employees, encourage motivation, and increase discipline. Abstract

This study aimed to describe supporting factors and inhibiting organizational performance and to evaluate the organizational performance of Semarang City Department of Education in achieving quality. The study used the theory of the factors that affect the performance of the organization. The factors that affect the performance of the organization used in the study include human resources; facilities and infrastructure; management information systems; cooperation; and leadership. This study used qualitative research method of descriptive. Based on the research results, factor that support the performance of the organization are human resources, cooperation and leadership whereas inhibiting factor are facilities and infrastructure; and management information systems. Organizational performance evaluation results indicate that the 9-year compulsory education targets have been met, the drop-out rate reached the national minimum servive standard, a decrease in the number of graduates, reduction in the number of teachers, reduction in the number of students repeating, decreasing dropout, an increase in the availability of the library, infirmary, computer rooms and laboratories, but a decrease in the availability of classrooms in the year 2013/2014. The suggestions given are fulfilling the availability of infrastructure needs, manage and utilize the education management system optimally, improve the education standard that is 12-year compulsory and seeks to reduce the children street in order to avoid dropping out of school, prepare for the exam to increase the number of the graduates and urged local governments to fulfilling the needs of theachers, do more focused on the construction of classrooms and repair the damaged

Abstract

Performance is the result of work that had attained by person in a group or organization in accordance with the authority and responsibilities. Organizational performance is the achievement of result at the organizational level or unit of analysis. Performance on the level of the Organizatinal related the objectives of the Organizational, design, organization, and management of the organization. Bidang Pasar Dinas Koperasi, UMKM, Perdagangan, dan Perindustrian Kabupaten Semarang which has a role as provider of public services, especially in the field of Stup and management of Traditional market, serve the community by providing a safe market, comfortable, orderly, clean, and healthy. The purpose the research was to analyze the performance of the Bidang Pasar Dinas Koperasi, UMKM, Perdagangan, dan Perindustrian Kabupaten Semarang. Analyzing the factors that support and hinder the performance viewa of three dimensions such as responsivity, outcome, and benefit and three factors that influence the organizational such as leadership, team work, and human resources. The results of the study as a whole, the performance of the Organizatinal could not be said to be optimal. On dimensions responsivity, outcomes, team work, and human resources proved still need any improvement.

Abstract

Strategic planning is not only applied in business, but also already implemented in public organizations such Social Departement of Tangerang, a technical institute of local government where the fundamental duty is to implement the preparation and execution of regional policy. Difficulties in projecting the future to face the changes that occur are the reason of the importance of strategic planning to solve the problem through programs and activities. The planning process is implemented properly will produce the right and excellent programs in order to achieve organization goals, therefore the strategic planning process must be observed at every stage, started from preparation until establishment so the organization is well prepared to face changes in the future. The preparation starts from presentation of the data and the determination of the role by analyzing the environment, until the strategic issue is attained in order to determine the right programs and activities. This study aims to analyze the strategic planning process in Social Departement of Tangerang in order to be evaluated at each steps of the plan in order to achieve the organization goal by using planned program and activity. The programs have to be well planned in order to reach the goal of Social Department of Tangerang effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

A quality service rated if already meet the satisfaction of its customers , if customers feel satisfied then these services could be said that quality. The rapid growth of Semarang city increase transportation necessity. The government of semarang city hold public transport based on fast with the fare affordable, such as bus rapid transit (BRT) Trans Semarang but BRT Trans Semarang service corridor IV is still not optimal. There are many problems in several factors like time for a long wait for the bus, the officers in shelters, the complete facilities and infrastructure, lack of priorities for users who have special needs and the officer’s behavior to passengers. The author using a technique quantitative data analysis using mean to find the average score the implementation level service performance and the average level of the interests of service. There are 15 service element used as a material assessment of performance and the interests of service are the clarity, the ability of officers, the responsibility of the officers, discipline of officers, courtesy and kindness officers, procedures, the convenience of the environment, the terms of service, security, get the service of justice, the completeness of facilities and infrastructure, the certainty of cost, the speed of service, the schedule of certainty and reasonable costs. The average of service performance element is 2.80 so that an element that has the value of the average under that needs to be improved. While the average of interest element is 3,84 so that an element that has the value of the average above that need attention for its performance. Based on this research result that there are still some element of the services need to be the main priority in the repair because it is still poorly and is important that the courtesy and kindness comfort environment, the security services, fairness to get the service, the complete facilities and infrastructure and the service schedule.
