Abstract

In this study was discussed to how teaching reading is one of the important skills in English that should be taught by teachers to students. In this case a teacher should be creative and innovative to make learning reading more enjoyable and the students are interested and motivated to learn it. One of them is by applying interesting strategies that are suitable for teaching reading. So, in this study the author discusses about two strategies, there are save the last word for me and double-entry journal strategies. Both of them are strategies that helps students more understand about the text read by using a small paper (note taking) which consists of two columns to make students more critical in comment it on important points in the text. This strategy is not only able to make students interested and motivated for reading lessons, but students are also able to better understand the contents of a text story, while students are able to understand the general structure (generic structure) of the text. Thus, in learning reading is not boring for students.

Abstract

The problem that often occurs in the world of education is the problem of knowledge transfer carried out by educators and students. The process of transferring knowledge has been carried out conventionally, namely by providing material face to face in a room or class. However, during the Covid-19 pandemic at this time this method could not be done. The current pandemic period requires people to maintain distance or social distancing. This social distancing encourages the emergence of online learning methods which are expected to reduce for the spread of virus in schools and college environment. Although online learning methods have been around for a long time, not all students are accustomed to using these methods. One of the online learning methods that can be done is by using google classroom. The use of google classroom is expected to increase the independence of students to learn and truthfully express ideas and questions other benefits of online learning.

Abstract

Computer could be use of the most important learning and more to be used, especially for multimedia learning based on computer will help for teachers and students. The purpose of research is to created interactive learning application and to provided a more affective and efficient learning opportunity.One of learning media that could assist to delivered a lesson is an interactive media with the education game in the media. This media to introduced technology and communications sets of equipment to students. In addition, it is could to try to do something as quickly of student about technology in education world.This application could used in second grade of elementary school. The menu are interested appearing include the content is for to introduced a letter, numbers, animals, and it’s sounds, games and quiz.

Abstract

Abstract: Through a workshop and coaching  to make learning media, Kiddy Learning Binder aims to increase the knowledge and skills of early childhood teachers in making educative props in Pusaka KB/TK and Harapan Bangsa Kindergarten at Kecamatan Tuban Kabupaten Tuban. Kiddy Learning Binder is an educational teaching aid to intended as a media learning which to be easy in the process of teaching and learning activities. Based on the problem, according to the survey results obtained in the field that the learning media in PAUD institutions are still minimum, and most of skills PAUD teachers are lack to make learning media, they more often bought the learning media than innovate to make their own . The solution to this problem was solved by providing workshop to make Kiddy Learning Binder learning media in Pusaka KB/TK and Harapan Bangsa Kindergarten. The implementation phase of workshop and coaching begins with observation and permission to get society service partners. Next, identify the initial abilities and then implementation by providing material/theory explanations and conducting training practices, and finally the monitoring and evaluation stage by measuring the success of the media that has been made through the training provided.     Keywords: educative props; kiddy learning binder; media learning Abstrak: Melalui pendampingan dan pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran Kiddy Learning Binder ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru PAUD dalam membuat alat peraga edukatif di KB/TK Pusaka dan TK Harapan Bangsa Kecamatan Tuban Kabupaten Tuban. Kiddy Learning Binder merupakan alat peraga edukatif yang diperuntukkan sebagai media pembelajaran yang memudahkan proses kegiatan belajar mengajar. Didasarkan pada permasalahan, sesuai hasil survei yang diperoleh di lapangan bahwa media pembelajaran pada lembaga PAUD tersebut masih minim, serta sebagian besar guru PAUD kurang mempunyai keterampilan dalam membuat media pembelajaran, mereka lebih sering untuk membeli media pembelajaran daripada berinovasi untuk membuat sendiri. Solusi permasalahan ini dipecahkan dengan memberikan pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran Kiddy Learning Binder di KB/TK Pusaka dan TK Harapan Bangsa Kecamatan Tuban Kabupaten Tuban. Tahap pelaksanaan pendampingan dan pelatihan diawali dari observasi dan perijinan untuk mendapatkan mitra pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Selanjutnya, mengidentifikasi kemampuan awal lalu pelaksanaan dengan memberikan penjelasan materi/teori dan melakukan praktek pelatihan, serta yang terakhir tahap monitoring dan mengevaluasi dengan mengukur keberhasilan media yang telah dibuat melalui pelatihan yang diberikan. Kata kunci: alat peraga edukatif; kiddy learning binder; media pembelajaran

Abstract

Early childhood education is never separated from developmental aspects that must always be stimulated. One aspect is language development. Because of the importance of language skills in the sustainability of one's life, it is necessary to pay attention so that it can develop optimally. For this reason, the researchers compiled this study with the aim of developing learning media that can be used to stimulate language development in early childhood. Field trials were carried out on group A children in two PAUD institutions in Tuban Regency. The research design used in this study is the Borg & Gall development model, namely (1) Potential and problems, (2) Data collection, (3) Product design, (4) Design validation, (5) Design revision, (6) Trial product, (7) Product revision, (8) Usage trial, (9) Product revision, (10) Mass production. The data obtained from this research and development are in the form of quantitative data and qualitative data. Based on the results of the feasibility test analysis in this development research, the average result was 4.62 for material expert validation (very feasible with revision) and an average result of 3.37 for media expert validation (decent with revision).AbstrakPendidikan anak usia dini tidak pernah terlepas dari aspek perkembangan yang harus selalu distimulasi. Salah satu aspeknya yaitu perkembangan bahasa. Karena pentingnya kemampuan berbahasa dalam keberlanjutan kehidupan seseorang maka perlu mendapat perhatian agar dapat berkembang dengan optimal. Karena hal itulah peneliti menyusun penelitian ini dengan tujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk menstimulasi perkembangan bahasa pada anak usia dini. Uji coba lapangan dilaksanakan pada anak kelompok A di dua lembaga PAUD yang ada di Kabupaten Tuban. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan Borg & Gall yaitu (1) Potensi dan masalah, (2) Pengumpulan data, (3) Desain produk, (4) Validasi desain, (5) Revisi desain, (6) Uji coba produk, (7) Revisi produk, (8) Uji coba pemakaian, (9) Revisi produk, (10) Produksi masal. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian dan pengembangan ini berupa data kuntitatif dan data kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji kelayakan pada penelitian pengembangan ini, mendapatkan hasil prosentase sebesar 86.25% untuk validasi ahli materi (sangat layak dengan revisi) dan hasil prosentase sebesar 72.5% untuk validasi ahli media (layak dengan revisi).

Abstract

The aims of this study were To find out the Development of Interactive Learning Media Using Quiz Bot Telegram in the second semester Intermediate Listening Course at UNIROW Tuban. This research used Research and Development (R&D) model ADDIE. The subject of this study was an intermediate student listening course of English education in the second semester Unirow with 15 students. The techniques of data collection questionnaire technique. The data analysis used is quantitative data analysis. The results of the research get the percentage of material expert validation obtained 90% results, media expert validation obtained 92% results, then student respondents got 96% results which indicated the "very wothy" criteria. Based on the results of research, it can be concluded that the development of interactive learning media based on Telegram Quiz make students interested and feel positive about using this interactive learning media based on Telegram Quiz Bo in learning process.

Abstract

One of the important keys in facing the Industrial Revolution Era 5.0 in home businesses is that it is characterized by technological integrity and artificial intelligence. Semanding District, as part of the community affected by this global transformation, needs to prepare household business actors with comprehensive digital marketing skills. This service aims to design and implement a digital marketing training program that focuses on specific needs, namely promotion of home businesses in Semanding District by learning logo or brand design so that the products that manufacturers offer are more easily remembered by consumers. With this digital marketing training, the products offered by UMKM (Micro small and Medium Enterprises) household businesses will be more practical, fast, efficient and easily delivered to consumers at relatively low costs because currently the concept of digital marketing is not only done via the web but is done with the role of social media. which makes it very easy for manufacturers to do. To strengthen the digital marketing capacity of household business actors, it is hoped that it can spur local economic growth, increase competitiveness, and strengthen economic resilience in Semanding District in the midst of the Industrial Revolution 5.0 era.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and understand the needs of English Language Learners (ELL) in elementary schools, as well as to explore effective teaching strategies to support their academic success. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that ELL students' needs encompass linguistic, cognitive, and affective aspects, requiring a holistic approach to learning. The study also highlights the critical role of teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment through differentiated instruction, the use of technology, and family engagement. However, challenges such as limited resources and inadequate teacher training pose barriers to the implementation of these strategies. The study concludes that comprehensive support from the educational environment is essential to help ELL students reach their academic potential. Recommendations for further research include exploring educational policies and more in-depth teacher training.

Abstract

According to the literatures, language plays an important role in intercultural relationships in a multi-racial society. The research focuses on inclusive and respectful use of language as avenues to break down the civilizational gaps. The paper demonstrates that language is instrumental in enhancing mutual understanding, trust and social harmony. A literature review together with qualitative analysis is employed to show how effective and inclusive it is at bridging divisions between different people through which they collaborate. It also explores the barriers created by language differences that can carry on segregation among groups. This shows that for peaceful co-existence and multicultural societies, inclusive communication practices ought to be promoted.
