Abstract

Digital transformation requires micro, small, and medium enterprises not only to use digital media as promotional tools but also to develop a digital entrepreneurial mindset in business management. This community service activity aimed to improve the understanding, skills, and readiness of MSME actors in Bogor City in implementing digital entrepreneurship through training and business mentoring. The program was conducted through four stages: needs identification, training, practical mentoring, and evaluation. The participants consisted of 30 MSME actors engaged in culinary, fashion, handicraft, service, and household product sectors. The materials covered digital entrepreneurship concepts, digital business model mapping, social media optimization, marketing content creation, marketplace utilization, simple digital financial recording, and business action plan development. The results showed an increase in participants’ understanding of digital entrepreneurship, with the average pre-test score increasing from 58.40 to 84.10 in the post-test. Most participants were also able to create digital business accounts, develop a simple content calendar, improve their business profiles, and design digital marketing strategies based on customer segmentation. This activity indicates that training combined with practical mentoring can strengthen the managerial capacity of MSMEs in facing digital-based business competition. The implication highlights the importance of continuous mentoring and collaboration among universities, local government, business communities, and digital platforms to accelerate the transformation of Bogor City MSMEs into adaptive, innovative, and competitive enterprises. Abstract

This study examines the effects of electronic word of mouth (e-WOM), brand trust, and lifestyle on consumers’ purchase intention toward AEON Sushi in the Greater Jakarta area. A quantitative, cross-sectional survey was conducted among 151 respondents who lived in Greater Jakarta, were familiar with AEON Sushi, and had purchase experience or purchase consideration concerning the product. Data were collected using an online questionnaire and analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results show that e-WOM positively affects purchase intention (β = 0.196; t = 2.229; p = 0.026), brand trust positively affects purchase intention (β = 0.280; t = 3.306; p = 0.001), and lifestyle has the strongest positive effect on purchase intention (β = 0.379; t = 4.608; p < 0.001). The model explains 51.3% of the variance in purchase intention (R² = 0.513), while Q²predict of 0.474 indicates predictive relevance relative to the naïve benchmark. These findings suggest that purchase intention toward AEON Sushi is shaped not only by online consumer information and confidence in the brand but also by the degree to which the product fits consumers’ urban and contemporary lifestyles. The study recommends strengthening authentic online reviews, communicating product quality and safety consistently, and positioning AEON Sushi as a convenient culinary choice that fits the lifestyle of young urban consumers. The interpretation remains subject to the limitations of non-probability sampling, respondent concentration among women and individuals aged 20–25 years, and the reduced number of retained indicators in several constructs.

Sampling was conducted using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 150 respondents who are consumers of Bakso Kribo. Data were analyzed using the SPSS program through research instrument testing (validity and reliability), classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing (t-test and F-test). The results showed that partially, Digital Promotion has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Decisions (t-count 8.778 > t-table 1.976; Sig. 0.000). Service Quality also partially has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Decisions (t-count 11.289 > t-table 1.976; Sig. 0.000). Simultaneously, Digital Promotion and Service Quality have a positive and significant effect on Purchase Decisions (F-count 99.034 > F-table 3.057; Sig. 0.000) with an influence contribution of 57.4% based on the coefficient of determination test ().
