Abstract

Kampus merdeka saat ini menjadi topik yang diminati di kalangan masyarakat Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, saat ini banyak pihak yang mulai menyajikan informasi terkait topik tersebut, salah satunya LLDIKTI Wilayah IV yang aktif menyajikannya melalui Instagram. Instagram LLDIKTI Wilayah IV dengan username @lldiktiwilayah4 memiliki jumlah followers terbanyak dari 16 LLDIKTI yang ada di Indonesia, sehingga diharapkan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan informasi followers dengan menyajikan informasi yang berkualitas. Dengan begitu, untuk mengetahui status kualitas informasi pada Instagram @lldiktiwialyah4, pada penelitian ini peneliti melakukan pengkajian terhadap kualitas informasi tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dimensi waktu, dimensi isi, dan dimensi bentuk tentang program kampus merdeka pada  Instagram @lldiktiwilayah4 dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi followers. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan studi korelasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dimensi waktu, dimensi isi, dan dimensi bentuk tentang programkampus merdeka pada  Instagram @lldiktiwilayah4 dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi followers, sehingga diketahui bahwa terdapat korelasi antara kualitas informasi dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Instagram @lldiktiwilayah4 telah mampu menyajikan informasi tentang kampus merdeka secara berkualitas, yaitu dengan memenuhi setiap indikator pada dimensi waktu, dimensi isi, dan dimensi bentuk, sehingga kebutuhan informasi followers tentang kampus merdeka dapat terpenuhi.

Abstract

Background of the study: Collaboration in the library sector is essential to fulfill the library users' information needs. Purpose: The objective of this study is to investigate the methods, types of collaboration, and challenges involved in the implementation of cooperative efforts between the West Java Dispusipda and UNIKOM Library, to enhance the development and utilization of the library. Method: In this research, a qualitative approach is employed to analyze the data, which is subsequently processed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Findings: The collaboration between the West Java Dispusipda and UNIKOM Library is based on a policy that outlines the roles, responsibilities, and scope of the cooperation. The agreed activity plan includes various initiatives such as enhancing the quality of human resources, exchanging experts, conducting research cooperation, implementing science and technology applications, and collaborating in other areas. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, not all planned activities have been fully implemented. One notable achievement is the accreditation of the UNIKOM Library. Conclusion: Cooperation is an effort to achieve library goals

Abstract

ABSTRACT Instagram is a social media platform that can be used as a medium for promotion. The same is true for the Reading Library in Tebet which uses Instagram as a medium for promoting its library. This study aims to determine the pull strategy, push strategy, and pass strategy used by the Marketing Public Relations of the Reading Library in Tebet in promoting on Instagram, as well as the reasons for using Instagram as a promotional tool. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study found that the Reading Library in Tebet can easily promote its services because its librarians already have qualities that exceed the capacity of ordinary librarians, so that just by promoting through word of mouth, the Reading Library in Tebet can be easily and quickly recognized by the public, even before the library is opened to the public. It was also found that the Reading Library in Tebet also promotes via its Instagram by collaborating with communities, creating daily content, collaborating with influencers, reuploading content from its followers, promoting book collections, and holding discounts for becoming monthly members. Keywords:  Promotion Strategy, Instagram, Marketing Public Relation, Baca di Tebet Library.   ABSTRAK Instagram merupakan platform di media sosial yang dapat digunakan sebagai media untuk melakukan promosi. Sama halnya dengan Perpustakaan Baca di Tebet yang menggunakan Instagram sebagai media promosi perpustakaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pull strategy, push strategy, dan pass strategy yang digunakan Marketing Public Relations Perpustakaan Baca di Tebet dalam melakukan promosi di instagram, serta alasan menjadikan Instagram sebagai alat promosinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa Perpustakaan Baca di Tebet dapat dengan mudah melakukan promosinya diakrenakan pustakawannya yang sudah memiliki kualitas diri melebih kapasitas pustakwan biasanya, sehingga hanya dengan melakukan promosi melalui mulut ke mulut Perpustakaan Baca di Tebet dapat dengan mudah dan cepat dikenal oleh masyarakat, bahkan sebelum perpustakaannya dibuka untuk umum. Didapati pula bahwa Perpustakaan Baca di Tebet juga melakukan promosi melalui Instagramnya dengan melakukan kerjasama bersama komunitas, membuat daily content, melakukan kolaborasi dengan influencer, melakukan reupload konten dari pengikutnya, melakukan promosi koleksi buku, dan mengadakan diskon untuk menjadi anggota bulanan. Kata Kunci: Strategi Promosi, Instagram, Marketing Public Relation, Perpustakaan Baca di Tebet.

Abstract

Abstrak Katalogisasi bahan pustaka di perpustakaan menjadi salah satu kegiatan utama yang dilakukan oleh pustakawan. Pada kegiatan katalogisasi, pengolahan data bahan pustaka dilakukan mulai dari merepresentasikan isi hingga fisik bahan pustaka ke dalam berbagai macam bentuk katalog. Saat ini, kegiatan katalogisasi di perpustakaan didukung dengan teknologi perangkat lunak (software) yang dapat menampung data di dalam sistemnya. Adanya penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui secara deskriptif kualitatif terkait penggunaan perangkat lunak untuk katalogisasi perpustakaan di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan (Diskarpus) Kota Banjar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi langsung di Diskarpus Kota Banjar dan wawancara bersama salah satu pustakawannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Diskarpus Kota Banjar telah menggunakan perangkat lunak SLiMS 8 Akasia untuk pembuatan katalog elektronik sejak tahun 2019. Namun, Diskarpus Kota Banjar mendapat imbauan dari Perpusnas RI untuk beralih menggunakan INLIS Lite dalam pembuatan katalognya. Hingga di tahun 2021, perpustakaan mengikuti imbauan tersebut dan mulai memanfaatkan INLIS Lite dalam sistem otomasi perpustakaan, termasuk kegiatan katalogisasinya. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Diskarpus Kota Banjar telah memiliki pengalaman dalam menggunakan perangkat lunak SLiMS dan INLIS Lite. Kata Kunci: Katalogisasi, SLiMS, INLIS Lite, Dinas Kearsipan dan          Perpustakaan Kota Banjar  AbstractThe cataloging of library materials in the library is one of the main activities carried out by librarians. In cataloging activities, data processing of library materials is carried out starting from representing the contents to physical library materials into various forms of catalogs. Currently, cataloging activities in libraries are supported by software technology that can accommodate data in the system. The purpose of this research is to find out descriptively and qualitatively related to the use of software for library cataloging at Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan (Diskarpus) Kota Banjar. The research method used in this study was direct observation at Diskarpus Kota Banjar and interviews with one of the librarians. The results of the research showed that Diskarpus Kota Banjar had been using the SLiMS 8 Akasia software for electronic catalog creation since 2019. However, Diskarpus Kota Banjar received an appeal from Perpusnas RI to switch to using INLIS Lite in its catalog creation. Until 2021, the library followed the advice and began to use INLIS Lite in the library automation system, including its cataloging activities. It can be concluded that the Diskarpus Kota Banjar already has experience in using SLiMS and INLIS Lite software. Keywords: Cataloging, SLiMS, INLIS Lite, Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Kota Banjar

Abstract

Abstract A library is a working unit that has a place to collect, manage, store, and organize a collection of library materials regularly, and has the purpose of being used by libraries as a pleasant source of information or learning. Collections on libraries should therefore be arranged and processed to the best of their ability in order for information to be stored and used quickly and appropriately. On libraries it is also mandatory to have an information re-meeting system. Of the many key tasks on the system for information re-establishment from library ownership is processing library materials often referred to as cataloging. Catalogue itself has a meaning which is the process of creating a catalog containing data from a collection, both from the physical perspective of the book and the contents of the collection. The writing of this article aims to find out how the catalog utilizes in processing library materials on the library owned by Mr. Hj. Oo. One way is to do cataloging activities on the library. Catalogueing library materials makes library materials on library collections systematically neat and can be recovered quickly and accurately. In addition, the power of cataloging library materials has a great influence on the success of library tasks and functions. Therefore, cataloguing activities should be done professionally. The research conducted on this article uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Mr. Hj. Oo's library has many unprocessed library materials by conducting cataloging activities on the library. After cataloging activities were carried out on the library owned by Mr. Hj. Oo made the library systematically organized. Therefore, cataloging activity is a powerful way to embed existing library materials on the library owned by Mr. Hj. Oo.Keywords: Catalouguing; Library; Library Materials; Processing Abstrak Perpustakaan ialah unit kerja yang mempunyai tempat untuk mengumpulkan, mengelola, menyimpan, serta mengatur koleksi bahan pustaka dengan teratur, dan mempunyai tujuan untuk digunakan oleh para pemustaka sebagai sumber informasi atau sarana pembelajaran yang menyenangkan. Oleh karena itu, koleksi pada perpustakaan harus diatur dan diolah sebaik mungkin agar informasi dapat disimpan dan digunakan dengan cepat dan tepat. Pada perpustakaan juga diwajibkan memiliki sistem temu kembali informasi. Dari banyaknya tugas utama pada sistem temu kembali informasi dari kepemilikan perpustakaan ialah mengolah bahan perpustakaan yang sering disebut sebagai katalogisasi. Katalogisasi sendiri mempunya arti yaitu adalah proses pembuatan katalog yang memuat data-data dari suatu koleksi, baik dari segi fisik buku maupun isi dari koleksi buku tersebut. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pemanfaatan katalog dalam mengolah bahan pustaka pada perpustakaan milik Pak Hj. Oo. Salah satu caranya ialah melakukan kegiatan pengkatalogkan pada perpustakaan tersebut. Katalogisasi bahan pustaka membuat bahan pustaka pada koleksi perpustakaan menjadi tertata rapih secara sistematis dan dapat ditemukan kembali dengan cepat serta akurat. Selain itu, kekuatan katalogisasi bahan pustaka mempunyai pengaruh yang besar pada keberhasilan tugas serta fungsi perpustakaan. Maka dari itu, kegiatan katalogisasi harus dilakukan secara profesional. Penelitian yang dilakukan pada artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pada perpustakaan milik Pak Hj. Oo mempunyai banyak bahan pustaka yang belum diolah dengan melakukan kegiatan katalogisasi pada perpustakaan tersebut. Setelah kegiatan katalogisasi dilakukan pada perpustakaan milik pak Hj. Oo menjadikan perpustakaan tersebut tertata rapih secara sistematis. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan katalogisasi ialah cara yang ampuh untuk mengolaj bahan pustaka yang ada pada perpustakaan milik Pak Hj. Oo.Kata Kunci: Katalogisasi; Bahan Pustaka; Pengolahan; Perpustakaan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kegiatan penyimpanan arsip digital yang terpusat di PT. Karya Dua Anyam menggunakan Google Drive, kemudahan, dan kendala yang dihadapi dalam menyelenggarakan kegiatan tersebut. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode action research dengan produk akhir berupa Data Sentral Du Anyam dan Krealogi. Data berasal dari narasumber yang dikumpulkan melalui proses observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT. Karya Dua Anyam telah memanfaatkan Data Sentral Du Anyam dan Krealogi untuk tempat penyimpanan data digital meski belum sepenuhnya efektif karena mengalami kendala seperti kesulitan migrasi data karena dibatasi oleh sistem.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the model of information search process are carried out by depression sufferers at Cahaya Bunda Cirebon Mother Children Hospital to obtain information, especially regarding mental health by using the information seeking behavior model by Kuhlthau known as ISP (Information Search Process). The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results of the study show that the construction that depression sufferers go through from the stage of uncertainty to understanding and in this search for information there are 6 (six) stages, namely (1) The initial stage, aware of the need for information so that the search for information is motivated by motivation in searching for information; (2) Topic Selection Stage; (3) Information Search Stage; (4) Crosscheck and validation stages to expert individuals including psychologists/psychiatrists; (5) Collection Stage, collecting information that has been sorted; and (6) Final Stage, characterized by storing information for oneself and the emergence of feelings of satisfaction and relief. The conclusion from the results of this study is that it is known that the depressed sufferers studied have a model of information search process according to the characteristics of the depressed sufferers and is sufficient to help them to obtain and use mental health information.

Abstract

The application of information technology in the library comes along with the development of human culture itself. The application of IT in libraries can function in various forms, including as a library management system that can be integrated with a library management system. Senayan Library Management System or Senayan or SLiMS is software that handles free library management with open source code. SLiMS has various features, such as Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC), digital content/files, Bibliography/catalog database management, integrated catalog creation, serial publication control, integrated search engine creation, document item management with barcode support, master file management and support circulation. This study aims to see the benefits of using SLiMS in processing library materials at the State Elementary School of Jurumudi 1 Library. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach through case studies in the field. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, literature, and document study. The results indicate that SLiMS facilitates the processing of library materials in SDN Jurumudi 1. The use of SLiMS speeds up the processing of library materials compared to conventional systems.

Abstract

This research describes how the Library and Archives Service of West Java Province implements the Social Inclusion-Based Library Transformation program starting with preparations, strategies, policies, etc. By using qualitative methods with a case study approach. Researchers obtained primary data in this study through field observations, interviews, and notes on situations, conditions, and processes of the Social Inclusion-Based Library Transformation program. Researchers took secondary data in this study through scientific books, articles, journals, and previous studies. The results showed that the West Java Dispusipda had procedures in place when implementing the Social Inclusion-Based Library Transformation program through preparation, librarian training, program implementation, post-program advocacy, and evaluation. This institution also implements the Social Inclusion-Based Library Transformation program with a synergistic team of several government agencies and private institutions with the authority and capacity to succeed in this program. Constraints and obstacles experienced in running this program are 1. Lack of public understanding of the Social Inclusion-Based Library Transformation program; 2. The village head who does not take sides in the development of village information sources; 3. The community is still oriented towards government assistance.

Abstract

Developments in the field of library technology, especially in the storage and dissemination of information, have also encouraged institutional awareness to increase their information resource assets. The Padjadjaran University Repository functions as a means of storing, preserving and making accessible sources of information on research that has been prepared by the academic community. Students need scientific sources in the process of completing their coursework, they carry out various stages in searching for appropriate information in their own way. This research aims to determine academic information needs and student information seeking behavior at the Padjadjaran University Repository. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis. Based on the processed data, it was found that the concept of academic information needs has a significant relationship with information seeking behavior. The Padjadjaran University repository is able to provide valid information and can be used as reference material for lecture assignments to students as users. This is because the Padjadjaran University Repository is considered by students to have provided sufficient information based on the form, method of presentation and scope.
